"Located in downtown Woodstock, this wine and tapas bar serves wines by the glass and bottle from around the globe. People can even order wine flights here, highlighting wines from a particular region or by grape variety. Wines on the menu are divided up by whites, reds, and bubbles or are listed by country, grape variety, or under broader tasting note subcategories, like rich and textured. Expect food to lean wine-friendly, including charcuterie boards and shareable dishes such as smoked eggplant, roasted octopus, and a six-ounce bistro steak. There’s even a rooftop patio." - Beth McKibben, Henna Bakshi

"Before this Woodstock restaurant changed hands, it was Hot Dog Heaven. That’s when the majority of the mysterious happenings occurred. A devilish spirit with a penchant for pranking often turned the hot dog cooker off or tossed a few buns around from the cupboard. Some believe it’s the spirit of the postmaster, as the building now sits on the site of a former post office. No word as to whether he still roams the premises now that the current restaurant, Rootstock and Vine, no longer serves hot dogs." - Beth McKibben

We booked the private party room upstairs and the whole experience was amazing!! Cassandra was so helpful and answered all my emails/texts in a timely manner. The food was wonderful and we have been hearing from multiple partygoers how amazing the experience one. The bartender we had was awesome and made really good drinks. If you’re looking for a place to host an event, look no further! Side note: we got there early and had a drink with David at the downstairs bar and he was so fun! He made great drink suggestions. We tried the ricotta shareable and it was delicious!

Enjoyed a lovely evening dining at the bar on a Thursday evening. The entire staff was extremely pleasant. My girl friend and I enjoyed a few appetizers. Lollipop lamb chops were tender & well-seasoned over some type of flavorful mixed veggie sautée. I ordered the eggplant lasagna and my friend had the stuffed quinoa pepper. For dessert, the crème brûlée trio. Brittney made one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had. Great visit here. Definitely recommend.

Google
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Our server David made excellent recommendations and was just great. The Rum Old Fashion was the best Old Fashion I’ve ever had. Nice vibe on the lower level. Will have to come back to check out the rooftop dining experience.

This was my first visit as well as those with me. We opted to try just share plates. They were all wonderful! Bacon Shrimp was recommended and did not disappoint. (Not pictured.) For the Share Dip we opted for Ricotta, Smoked Eggplant and Salmon Hummus. My favorite was experimenting with my own combination of these. Roasted Octopus was presented beautifully. My daughter and I preferred the accompaniments to the octopus itself but our other companion loved the main feature. The tomato basil soup was enjoyed as well. I think everyone's favorite was the lamb lollipops though. Beautiful balance of flavor over a dark sauce and cassoulet. I couldn't get enough. And our server, Corey, was a great compliment to our experience. He was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back to try entrees and desserts. Hopefully overlooking the town as we did this time, out on the balcony. Awesome place!!

Google
Rootstock Restaurant & Bar in downtown Woodstock was awesome! Inside and rooftop seating. Great menu with small plates options. Very good!

Google
Loved this place! Will definitely be back again. We were originally going for Italian but the wait times were really long and we were fortunate to give Rootstock a try. We were so glad we did! We took a spot near the live music and the band was poppin'! Great job Way Back Band! There are lots of another dining room to sit in, including an outdoor area, if live music isn't your thing. Our ssrver, Cory, was incredible! He treated us so well and gave us fantastic recommendations. He said he'd only been there a short while but I would have never known because he was an expert on the menu. Probably one of the best experiences we've ever had being waited on at a restaurant. And the food.... My goodness the food was incredible! Cory recommended we try multiple small plates as they started as a tapas restaurant, and so we had lamp lollipops, bacon shrimp, smoked salmon and hummus, and gnocchi carbonara. For dessert we had cheesecake and creme brulee. Everything was so incredible - hats off to the chef! My personal was either the lamp lollipops or the gnocchi. Both were so delicious I'd come back just for those. All in all, we couldn't have been happier to have found this spot because it was literally just what we needed to take a load off and relax a bit. Highly recommend!

Google
I only have one picture of food from here because by the time we got anything else, it had literally been over 2 hours that we just wanted to eat. We came for Mother’s Day and the kitchen absolutely fell apart and they couldn’t. No exaggeration, from the time we placed the order to the time that it sat on our table was over 2 hours. They only had their brunch menu and there was not a single thing on it that would take more than 15 minutes to prepare. The front of the house staff got screwed over too because they couldn’t turn the tables because no food was coming out. Multiple tables left after waiting because they had young children and they were getting cranky, as was I. I’m giving their service 4 stars because I can at least compartmentalize and know that FOH has nothing to do with this meltdown. The only good thing was that they comped our entire table.

Google
Went out tonight for date night and had amazing service by our waiter David Kay. The food was great and they were even able to make the infamous Last Word cocktail. Very hard to find around here. We will definitely be coming back and requesting David as our server. 5 stars.

Leana C.

Yelp
Dining at Rootstock is what dining out used to be, personal genuinely friendly service, uniquely designed delicious dishes, and quiet warm ambiance. We came in for our 20th anniversary and Anne Marie made us feel so special. We also adore David the manager.

Yelp
After living in Woodstock for 4 years, my husband and I finally had the opportunity to enjoy happy hour at Rootstock. I really enjoyed the restaurant's aesthetic; it's definitely something different and more elevated than the other downtown restaurants. We learned that the menu had recently been overhauled to now include entrees, which I definitely want to return to try. We started with drinks -- an Old Fashioned for my husband and a Georgia Mule for me -- which were both good. We stuck with the small plates and a dessert for HH, trying the Lemon Whipped Ricotta, the Bacon Shrimp, and the Ube Cheesecake. All three were great and something I would order again. Our first visit to Rootstock gave us a nice preview to the restaurant, and I hope to return in the near future for the full menu experience.

Yelp
This place was so pretty inside and the service was fantastic. I got the risotto and it wasn't very good. They soak the mushrooms in vinegar, not the best flavor. But the couple we ate with loved their steaks!

Steve V.

Yelp
We came here on Mother's Day for dinner. We did not have a reservation and thought it would be no problem, but that's where it got weird. We had 5 people and they would not put a 4 top and a 2 top together, even though there was another party there where they did that for. They said they were saving the 2 tops just in case (no one ended up showing up the whole time were were there and we saw others getting turned away for the same reason). So we had one person sit at the end of our 4 top, that took about 10 minutes to set up that 5th place setting. The atmosphere is good and they have a rooftop that was packed that is 18+ after 5pm. Luckily, the food was really good and so was our server! He was very knowledgable about the menu and items on it. We started with the house made riccotta and the bacon shrimp. Both were excellent and we did get some extra costinis to go with the ricotta, which we didn't ask for, but ended up getting charged extra for it. For my entree, I had the bistro steak. The sauce and sides were perfect, but the steak was a bit dry. The apps did take some time to come out, but then the entrees came out quickly after that. This place has potential, but just need to tighten up their operations.

Sinnamen S.

Yelp
The ambiance was awesome! I sat on the rooftop & had a great view! Started off with the grilled octopus (REALLY scrumptious, along with the potatoes that came with it), & also the tuna tataki (very tender & yummy). For entrees, I ordered the lamb porterhouse, cooked at the recommended temperature... it was a bit chewy but very flavorful... the mashed potatoes & asparagus were seasoned & cooked to perfection. My friend had the salmon & said it was very delicious as well. Ended with the carrot cake, which was VERY rich & delicious. The customer service was excellent!

Angela B.

Yelp
Rustic but trendy vibe with great food. We showed up on a Saturday night and were seated straight away. It was still pretty busy, and I don't know if being seated quickly would always happen that easily on a weekend night. I had the best seared scallops dish I've ever had. The marriage of different flavors was amazing and somewhat surprising. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My son enjoyed the lamb lollipops and the chicken & waffle starters, and my husband had the bistro steak. The only complaint the whole night was my husband didn't prefer the crust on the steak. He thought it tasted a little burned. We finished off with a crème brûlée trio and chocolate tart with an Oreo base. They were both delicious, but take note, the chocolate tart can become very rich after a few bites. The service was excellent through out our meal. We parked in a nearby lot and walked a short distance to the restaurant.

Yelp
This is the first time coming here. Madison was our waitress and such a sweetheart. We had brunch and it was soooo good. Great ambiance! Very tasty and high class. Will come again.

Shannon E.

Yelp
Food is great, last time the kitchen got slammed and food took forever but our awesome server got us some apps and a round of drinks. Whoop whoop Next time I'm going to hang out on the upper deck.

Ginny G.

Yelp
Worst food I've had in a very long time! Both the risotto and duck breast were forgettable concoctions. The risotto was watery, gummy in spots and looked and tasted like everything you've ever read about gruel. I've make risotto at home, had the pleasure of eating it in many restaurants but never have seen a risotto dish so poorly executed. When I asked to have it remade, the chef's reply was it wouldn't be any different. On to the duck breast which was equally as bad as the risotto! I didn't even get to sample it as the top was rubbery in texture - not crispy as it should have been - and worse, I tried to cut into it in three different places without success! It actually looked rare inside. Unfortunately, the waitperson didn't seem fazed. He was friendly until the risotto went back. After waiting a substantial amount of time (rest of the party had finished their meal) the duck was delivered without so much as an "I'm really sorry". When I showed the waiter the duck and had him take it back there was no offer of can I get you anything else, dessert (which we were actually considering) a glass of wine - nada. Brought the bill again with no apologies at all. Strange experience, I don't remember the last time (not this decade) that I had to send an entree back, let alone two. We had heard there was a new chef so we were excited to try as were our friends who were giving it a second shot as their first experience wasn't great. Hopefully, the new chef hasn't started yet and we were misinformed. This gets zero stars from me!

Yelp
What an amazing experience from super tasting food (and presentation) to excellent service and attention. The staff are long-term and truly care about the customer's experience. Two of the best, perhaps, are Bella and Kristin. If you have the opportunity to get one of these two beautiful ladies, your the lucky ones (ask for them by name, hint-hint). The Manager/Owner is David. He's the Dad-Joke champion. 100%. If you are blessed with meeting him, ask him for his rapid-fire Dad Jokes. You'll definitely laugh! This place Rocks! A+

Glenn G.

Yelp
Really, great food really good tasty nice deck upstairs fun place, great service, great wine selection appears, everybody's Wass, very conscientious, and very nice location in one end of Woodstock

Madelyn R.

Yelp
Bella is an amazing server! She was so knowledgeable and sweet. We will definitely be back. Great service, ambiance, menu, etc.

Mark A.

Yelp
I had a great meal here a year ago, I was looking forward to coming again. Everything was off this time and we were disappointed. It seemed like there was dysfunction in the kitchen and amongst the wait staff. The music was nice, and I like the venue in general. I hope they get it together.

Russell S.

Yelp
How I know I am blessed part 4,284. This was the best octopus dish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The accompanying salad was a bonus. The smoked salmon hummus is a delicious idea I would eat for lunch every day and I especially appreciate the care to the crudité's freshness. Finally the gnocchi carbonara is decadent and for your cardiac health, please split this dish with someone you love.

Jimbo S.

Yelp
Absolutely delish. We had steak, lamb and scallops. ALL were excellent. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Really fantastic food and drinks.

Katherine S.

Yelp
Stopped in while in the Woodstock area with friends and I'm glad we did! We weren't expecting the live music upstairs. I'm glad we got seated up there. We had already eaten, so we only ordered dessert. It made for a great end to our day out in Woodstock. I stepped outside on to the balcony because the sunset was gorgeous! If you like creme brûlée, definitely go for the trio to try 3 flavors at once! The pan fried pound cake surprised me. It was delicious with the ice cream! Parking: I noticed a parking lot diagonally across the street. We parking a short walk away in a neighborhood.

Ellie K.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere of the rooftop! We went at 8pm on Friday night and got seating right away. The food was delicious and the dessert was phenomenal! Our waiter was very attentive and we will definitely be back! We went as the sun was going down and it was beautiful. There are fans up there also which kept it cool!

Lauren P.

Yelp
The brunch is good, and sitting on the rooftop is great!! The food is a bit more on the "fancier" side coming from someone who is a little picky but okay with trying some new things! I have visited many times just for wine and apps but recently tried their brunch and it was great! The fruit was extremely fresh.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Love having this restaurant as a part of Woodstock. It makes for a great date night but also great for a group. Our most recent time here was phenomenal. Bella was an amazing waitress and made our time even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved the duck and the barramundi dishes. The pomegranate martini and rum old fashioned were thoroughly enjoyable. The smoked salmon hummus was not my favorite as far as appetizers but it had a unique flavor. Love that there is public parking behind the building. We plan to come back soon for their live music.

Brandon Y.

Yelp
The restaurant was in a great location and even had rooftop seating. Parking was confusing at first but we ended up finding a parking lot right behind the restaurant and we had our handicap passes so it worked out perfectly. The service was awesome, friendly and attentive staff! The food was good. My friends all enjoyed their meals. One had the shrimp and grits and gave it a 10/10. Can't remember what my other friend ordered but he gave his meal a 10 as well. The grits and eggs were both good for me. The muffins were great, extremely tasty. The chicken and waffles weren't my favorite. Definitely wouldn't order them again. Cool spot all in all.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
We were so excited to try this place! We made a reservation & dined there last Saturday evening. Our server, Damon, was phenomenal. He was very attentive, knew the menu, was so pleasant! We'd go back to sit in his section, no doubt. However, the food was lackluster. Our entrees were mediocre & the dessert was meh. We will try it again, but we were a bit disappointed after paying what we did for this meal. Staff - A+ Food- C-

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Loved it! As always, I get to know a place by trading as many appetizers as my tummy can take. Great experience. When they said the check was trained in France I knew we were in the right place. The lamp lollipops is a must! Octopus great! Goat Cheese fondue yummi! Had a Spritz and Michael had 2 Stella. Prices are absolutely fair. MK is a very pleasant girl working between the bar and the kitchen. Very knowledgeable and nice. We will go back for sure, worth the drive.

Daniel A.

Yelp
Pretty good overall. Hate that the bar is so loud Cocktails are tasty and creative Apps are good Steak was.... Tough. Everything else was so good the steak just bombed the meal. Overall I'd recommend and just ignore the steak on the menu.

Kia B.

Yelp
Located in downtown Woodstock. Awesome vibes on the rooftop. The weather was perfect. Servers were knowledgeable, fast and friendly. The food was A-1! Perfect! No complaints. Parking was a task but I was able to find a space near the restaurant.

Jimmmy M.

Yelp
My favorite establishment in the area. I love this place. Great small plates and a wonderful wine list. Just wish I lived closer.

Nadia A.

Yelp
I read the reviews, but still decided to give Rootstock a shot. We went for a Friday date night and had a great time overall. It got pretty busy, so I was glad we have a reservation. We asked to sit on the roof and had to wait a little bit but, the roof was the best part. Let me put this review in perspective - I know we are in Woodstock, so I didn't expect mind blowing food. Here is an overview: Vibes: 5 stars! The roof was beautiful and service was great. There is also a music room where there was more of a party vibe if that is your thing. Drinks: 3 stars. The Margarita was okay - at least it wasn't made with sour mix. The Summer Breeze was good. I cant remember what the other two were called, but nothing was very creative or memorable Food: 3 stars. We ordered quite a few things to try. It all looks beautiful, but taste unbelievably basic. The lamb lollipops were too salty, octopus was okay but had 3 pieces of octopus, goat cheese fondue was bland, poundcake was just okay, and matcha cheesecake was good but you couldn't taste the matcha. We spent $150 with tip for a very average meal. Again, I know we were in Woodstock, but if you want to charge atlanta prices, the food should live up to the price. Good vibes, but I wouldn't go back for the food.

Mark S.

Yelp
We've been to Rootstock several times, and in the past service has been varied, but tonight I really feel like I struck a home run with the services of Tayla and Diamond in the rooftop bar. Thankfully it was very quiet, which was what I was in the mood for and their company was excellent and their service definitely five star. Tayla recommended the duck breast which was cooked to perfection. (compliments to the chef). Everything about the evening was perfect and I was grateful for a nice meal at a local restaurant with the best service.

Erinn G.

Yelp
My friend, Paige and I, Joined the Oregon Wine Tasting this past Wednesday and it was a great night. We were relaxed, and the event was informative, friendly and fun. The food was phenomenal but I really wanted to shout out to Jared and Madison (I sure hope that is right )as they were so welcoming and made sure we were always happy. Attentive service given with generosity is not seen often, and we definitely received that. They were very knowledgeable too. We hated to run off but our time ran out, otherwise we would have stayed longer to enjoy ourselves! Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will be back, especially after a nice chat with Chef- excited to see his food creations!

Charles G.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful food and great service. I recommend the Duck and the Steak. Great atmosphere for a date night. Additionally it has a really awesome rooftop!

Lucy F.

Yelp
AMAZING FOOD! the server Tiffany was very polite and helpful the buisness owner was very kind and passionate about her business would recommend

Russell A.

Yelp
Before we ordered we asked our server about a few menu items shown on Yelp. And she didn't even recognize some of the items and when she saw the item she said, yeah that's not how it looks like anymore. We all laughed and tried the French onion (too salty), Spanish mussels (some of the mussels were spoiled), crab dip with lamb meatballs (dip was good and meatballs were gamey), and pork belly (tasted good came with 4 pieces of pork belly). If you're going out to Woodstock to have a drink and chat amongst friends over some tapas style servings and looking for a nice chill atmosphere then this is the place for you. As for date night, the food for us was not up to par for the price we paid and we expected better. The quality of the food was not what we were expecting based on the price we paid. Normally if a meal is good, I can't wait to get another bite to eat, but I found myself just eating because I didn't want to let the food go to waste. The food is not bad. It's not excellent either. On a good note. The staff is very hospitable and accommodating. The location is clean and tidy. Maybe next time the food will be better. For now I can only go by our experience. We might try this place again but not any time soon.

JD H.

Yelp
I work in New York and this is the only place that rises to the level of quality for the price in Woodstock. The only suggestion I have is sunshades for the rooftop bar in the evening. This establishment is top notch!

Savannah W.

Yelp
Service was friendly and fast, food is excellent, drinks are great, rooftop bar with live music is definitely the place to be.

Tonekia P.

Yelp
We decided to try this place because we have a passport book. I must say that it was a great new find! This hidden gem is a farm-to-table establishment with great food and service! I had the porkchop sorry cornbread grits and sautéed kale! The meat was flavorful and juicy and the kale was delicious. I wasn't a fan of grits but I did try the corn risotto, which was amazing. I had this reisling that was out of this world! It was so good that I purchased a bottle. They're not only a restaurant but a wine shop as well. The food was reasonably priced and they offered a good array of wine and spirits. If you're ever in Woodstock, please try this place.

Sylvia C.

Yelp
I've been to Rootstock about 6 times, it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is pretty good, sometimes it's not. I doubt I will be returning after our last visit on New Year's Eve. When we got to the 2nd floor to be seated, my husband and I were told that we'd be seated across from each other and sharing a table with 4 strangers. Like, what? I immediately told them that I'd prefer to sit beside my husband. We were seated by each other, but my New Year's festivities were still ruined. I was against the wall and I'm including a picture of what I had to go through to use the bathroom, or dance. Since we were literally seated back to back with the neighboring tables, I had to interrupt 5 people every time, just so I could get out. We could have spent the same $300+ somewhere else, and had a better time. Lesson learned.

Loyda Z.

Yelp
Went to Rootstock for a Debra Lynn & Flamy Grant concert. The restaurant has a listening room upstairs. What a beautiful experience! The concert itself was amazing! We didn't eat much but everything we tried was superb. I highly recommend the creme brûlée trio. Yummy!! The service- on point! Our server was amazing. He was bartending too and our drinks were perfect! I went with his recommendation and I loved it. We'll most definitely come back to this spot.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Let me start with they ARE closed until October for remodeling and expansion. We managed to make it in to visit this gem right before they closed. Unfortunately, they had a partial menu and private event downstairs so we didn't get the FULL experience. Can't wait to come back once they open again. We dined upstairs on the patio for a nice little date night. I ordered a wine flight, pimento cheese, and the tapas plate. We finished with the creme brulee trio for dessert. Everything was delicious and my wine flight was laid out and each wine was explained to me. Pimento cheese- delectable and not a horrible mayo filled mess like some places. The flavor was great and the cheddar was perfect. The pickled veggies they pickle in house stole the show! They were amazing and an unexpected delight. Tapas plate- my favorite item was the stuffed peppers. They had just the right amount of heat and the sauce was wonderful. The meatballs and mixed olives were also delicious. Creme brulee trio- SO GOOD! So the vanilla and espresso will always be on there and the third flavor rotates. During our visit it was strawberry. I wanted more of the espresso and my fiancé was over the moon about the strawberry. Wines- Tuscany flight and a glass of hunt & harvest Cabernet. All wonderful wines and not your typical wines you'd just find at the grocery store.

Aaron B.

Yelp
The food came out cold then when it was sent back they returned it soggy. The staff in the front of the house is very attentive however the back of the house where the food is prepared has serious problems. For the price of the food it should be executed with more precision. I order a steak with an extra demi glaze and they served the steak without the extra demi glaze and stated it would come out later. I laughed at this because it was so ridiculous. Give you a steak that I can't eat because it is incomplete. I will not be returning to this establishment due to all of the food issues.

Ron B.

Yelp
Went for Sunday Brunch. Great food, great service, and wonderful live sax music upstairs, along with another great bar! Will definitely be back!

Danielle T.

Yelp
Jared was amazing! This was our 1st time here, and Jared led us through an awesome culinary experience. We were lucky enough to come when they were trying new summer items. Plus the space is a cute modern atmosphere to go along with some great good! Soo good, you'll need to come this summer to try!! We will definitely be back!

De C.

Yelp
Never disappointed in a visit to Rootstock! A mainstay in my restaurant rotation! Excellent foot and exceptional cocktails! The staff is always outstanding!

Bre G.

Yelp
I have been here before and had an okay experience, but last night a friend and I came for dinner and the food was disgusting. It was literally cafeteria food. The pumpkin soup was such a punch in the face of spices that you couldn't even tell it was a pumpkin base - didn't help that the color was a weird poopy brown. The potato side dish I had to replace the gross soup was also yuck. Swimming in butter and grease. Hash-browns from Waffle House are more satisfying, and not $13. Finally the pork chop was what did me in. Overcooked, dense, and chewy. The kale was so salty and the cornbread grits were dry mush. I was seriously SHOCKED that this was our dining experience...and to celebrate our birthdays too...we should have gone to Prime120 instead. So disappointing!! The only redeeming factor was our server Damon, who was very sweet!

Nina M.

Yelp
Omg!! Best spot ever. We always get the lamb lollipops as an appetizer! So yummy.. and I'm not even a huge fan of lamb! Scallops with the squash purée is amazing. My husband loves their duck and chicken breast entree with the risotto. Best date night spot!! We also bring our baby here. Service is great!

Seth D.

Yelp
Eek me thinks not. Super bland food at high price. They substituted most of our meals with inferior ingredients. I asked for the Veal but they told me they only had Elk. My friend asked for the scallops and they said they only had shrimp but charged us the same price.

Brandon E.

Yelp
I would like to highlight a few things. Bella was our waitress and she's the most genuine/friendliest person I've met! Top notch service from start to finish! Food was absolutely incredible. Already looking forward to booking a reservation next time we are in the area!

Patrick M.

Yelp
We love this place. It's elegant, fresh and has a diverse menu of really well prepared and delicious food. The service is also a step above. Our waiter was very well informed about the menu and recommended fantastic wine pairings. The ambiance is the perfect blend of a rustic tavern, but with a warm and elegant feel.

Stephen P.

Yelp
The overall ambiance of the place is amazing. Great location, however disappointing cocktail combinations and food is subpar. Staff is friendly and service is good. Consider other restaurants options nearby.

Kim C.

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the rooftop at Rootstock this past Sunday. We went at the off-hour, which I recommend, because this place is always thumping! Our server was kind and attentive, the food came out quick and was delicious. We ordered a couple appetizers and considered it a steal for $10 a piece... we were stuffed and didn't need to order anything else! My Aperol spritz was perfect, and the Barbados 75 was nice, but not quite what we expected. Looking forward to dining there again very soon!

Matt D.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this experience. We ended up sitting upstairs with a great view of the downtown area. We ordered the pickled veg plate and a meat plate (essentially a charcuterie) and they were very good ways to start off a meal. Dinner entrees were the scallops and the venison tenderloin. Seriously good. The service was attentive without being annoying. I might have had a little too much wine which is why I actually ordered a dessert, which was also very good. I'm looking forward to going back. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I have no regrets.
