The Best New Restaurants In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"Among the staggering number of pizza joints in Paris, the majority have clung to Neapolitan-style pies—until now. Rori, the latest restaurant from the owners of Bouche (and located across the square from it), is a clear big-up to New York slice shops with a slick retro design and plenty of natural wines to appeal to Parisian crowds. The five kinds on the menu are made with a crispy, naturally leavened dough that makes the perfect base for spot-on combinations like pepperoni with hot honey; lemon with a beurre-blanc sauce; and thin potato strips layered on top of mozzarella and scamorza and served with a generous mound of dill pickle dip on the side. While you can (and should) take a slice to go, the experience is most fun when you dine in at night. The hip-hop playlist gets dialed up and groups pile in to share whole pies as big as the red lacquered tables they’re served on, and excellent side dishes like ‘nduja croquettes, oysters jazzed up with sriracha, and a bright green salad loaded with shredded parmesan and an orangey caesar dressing." - sara lieberman, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, lindsey tramuta, sara lieberman, sara lieberman, sara lieberman, lindsey tramuta, sara lieberman

Rori must be one of my favourite places in Paris. Easy going, fun, great NY pizza slices and natural wines. Everything feels really cool without feeling pretentious. There is a bit of a wait but since the crowd is so fun, getting a drink while waiting adds to the experience. The decor inside is beautiful and thoughtully designed. I loved the paper-pen ordering concept and also find it convenient that you can also just order take away. This place makes the whole street seem lively and vibrant. Staff super nice - prices reasonable and vibe amazing. Music is great - fun playlist not too loud not too quiet. Love this place!!!

DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! Our friends took us here for dinner after raving about it for the longest time. I must say I wasn’t disappointed at all, even though I am a picky eater. We ordered a mix of different pizza slices - Red Pie, Cacio e Pepe, White, Special, and Pepperoni, with dill pickle sauce, deep friend chicken, and croquette. We were 6 and we throughly enjoyed every bite of our order. In total we paid 186€ which came down to roughly around 30€, not at all a bad deal. Wouldn’t mind another visit at this restaurant. It is recommended to reserve a table because it gets crowded easily and you may end up finding long queues outside.

disappointed to say the least, the atmosphere was nice, eating outside and the waiter was lovely. however, the pizzas were standard, not really worth the wait. dough was fine and the toppings were fine but no standouts.

In this world full of Neapolitan pizzas mostly tasting the same, what a breath of fresh air it is to have a place like Rori with what I can swear, the best pizza I ate in Paris - thin crispy crust (you don't have the feeling you're eating soft bread with a little sauce), delicious red sauce, generous size slice! The atmosphere is great, the service is cool and attentive and bonus points for having natural wine 💛 Can’t wait to be back!

the best pizza i have had in paris, amazing food and the place looks great too! the attention to details is admirable, they have the aesthetic down to the toggle switch in their bathroom 😌♥️

Initially I was surprised why a New York inspired slice shop doesn’t do a plain cheese New York slice, but then I understood. It’s an elevated slice. It’s not just good, it’s spectacular. I had the pepperoni and the potato. Fantastic dough, flavours and textures. On par with the best slices in NYC, if not better. Congratulations to the owners and staff.

We went for lunch and we had the best meal of our trip to Paris. Exceptional pizza and cocktails, super kind and attentive service, and a fun and energetic atmosphere. The pepperoni pizza is to die for — the hot honey is so good and an incredible touch. We will certainly be back and recommend to everyone we know when they are in Paris.
