Excellent tiny ice cream place in Montecito. They have a couple of dozen flavors (no coffee sigh). I really liked the dark chocolate (but only if you are a lover of bitter dark chocolate). The portions are large and the quality is excellent. Worth a stop.

The ice cream here is really good. I got Nutella and salted caramel. Super creamy and tasty. My husband got an ice cream sandwich that he thoroughly enjoyed. I wish the flavors were more unique and had some umph to them though. But that’s just a personal preference

Wow! This ice cream was amazing! I asked what flavors were gluten free and was plesantly suprised when I was told the milk and cookies was gluten free. I got that, and it was fantastic! I wish they were closer, I would get it all the time!

Local, highest quality, incredible flavors, HH for the kids, my all time favorite mint ice cream. Their cones are frash and a great part of the total experience.

Super friendly and helpful service. Treated myself for my bday and ordered a shake. Forgot the exact names but got half dark chocolate and chocolate milk chip. I asked the server what are the most chocolatey flavors. I live in OC but hope to comeback for this someday.

The best ice cream ever! I picked the lemon curd. It wasn’t too sweet but you can tasted the rich lemon and creamy flavor. The cone was special. It tasted like cinnamon. I even wanna buy the cones home:) All in all I thought that was gorgeous! Lot of people lined in but the shop worker was quick, so I didn’t wait too long.

My go-to place every time I go to Montecito. Haven't tried all of them but I liked their serious dark chocolate (not too seriously dark tho) and black pepper pistachio (not peppery at all yay). But don't go for my favorite - try their best-sellers first. I think the peanut butter flavor is their best seller. Can't really tell which is better - Rori's or McConnell's. I love them both. My taste buds are not that sensitive anyways. I just love ice cream. mmm

Rori's has become a fave spot for ice cream in SB. This location in Montecito is the cutest. It's very small but the staff were kind and patient when desiring to try multiple flavors before making our final decision. The brown sugar banana is my favorite and I got it on a cone this time! Idk what it is about their ice cream but I'm lactose intolerant and it doesn't mess with me at all. A win for me!

This Rori's is very tiny but the ice cream tenders get patrons in and out in a timely manner. I love that they are a local company and use real ingredients and most importantly they make their own waffle cones the same day that you can smell when you walk in mmmmmm

Such a late post, and just remembered how much I loved this cute ice cream place at a prime location in beautiful Montecito. Can't wait to go back.

If you're from the Northeast and craving a frappe or a proper shake, turn around and head back to your favorite spot back east. This place sucks. $12 for milk blended with an anemic hardly perceptible amount of ice cream. Came by here yesterday while we were waiting to get seated at Bettina. Ordered 2 flavors in a cone. 1) strawberry cheesecake 2) root beer Both were good! They allow you to taste test.

Best icecream ever!! My husband and I agreed this was the best we've ever had. The lady scooping the icecream is so nice and patient. The honey almond is so fresh , delightful, and not sticky. It tasted like smooth high quality rich ice creams Cones were great as well. It's pricy but keep in mind that a single scoop is like 50% bigger than other place's single scoop. This was better than salt & straw, and McConnells! I love the mix of classic and unique flavors they offer. You can also order a pint of your favorite flavor! Very small inside, just enough for you to stand to place your order. Located in a beautiful little shopping center. Can't wait wait to come back!

Rori's is too cute. Very small ice cream shop, just come in order what you want, and go back outside to sit. They had lots of different flavors - I had the nutella and it was delicious. The service was great, the girls have samples, and also explained all the items that they had. Come visit!

The ice cream is SO good! The flavors are rich. The choices are varied. Cup or cone, toppings. Our server was the most professional ice cream scooper I've ever seen.

Great ice cream that has fantastic flavor. The service is always quick even when there's a line out the door! I'm also a huge fan of their vegan and seasonal flavors.

Small ice cream parlor with unique flavors. Super delicious! Could get pricey for a large family, but they do have kids scoops for a lower price. It is a good value though, as one scoop is really two! The cones are a bit brittle, so I suggest getting a cone and cup together!

Honestly. I have had a lot of ice cream in my young life. This place has to be in my top 10. Just wow speechless with the cream texture and great flavor. I was so impressed I actually came back right before I left town. Can't go wrong with any flavor.

Overall ok. Not the best, but pretty good. Girls working didn't make for a fun experience. I also believe a real ice cream place should let you try flavors. They do half and half of flavors for the regular scoop. Only found out about it coincidentally (again, the girls weren't very helpful). I made a random choice and got lucky-- the pepper pistachio was pretty tasty.

Honestly, this place is way overpriced for what you get. I was expecting a treat, not a financial commitment. On top of that, the girl working there had such a bad attitude, like I was inconveniencing her by being a paying customer. A smile or even basic politeness must not be on the menu. Ice cream is supposed to be a happy experience, but between the ridiculous prices and the rude service, I won't be back. Plenty of other places around that actually appreciate their customers.

Stopped by for dessert after lunch. Saw the line and figured this place should be good...not so much. Unfortunately the ice cream lacks flavor and consistency. I had a double scoop, cookies n cream and lavender honey (my favorite) and I couldn't tell what I was eating. Both flavors tasted like bland cream. My daughter had a kids sundae which looked good. On a Friday around 3, we got a HH discount, which I was grateful for not paying full price. Service was efficient (not friendly), will try something else next time.

I absolutely LOVE this little gem nestled in a cute shopping center. I love anything banana and just my luck, they serve Brown Sugar Banana and OMG... it's delish! What I really enjoy and love about Rori's is the richness and high quality ingredients. It's creamy and flavorful. It's really worth the splurge and I always feel satisfied after treating myself to Rori's. If you can't have dairy or have nut allergies, not to worry, they do serve non-dairy and no-nut options. It's best to ask first to be safe. Other flavors I've tried are the Honey Almond Crunch, Lemon Curd and Passion Fruit (vegan) and I've enjoyed them all. Staff is very friendly and shop is limited in space so you will find a line forming outside but not to worry, it moves fairly quickly. Plenty of outside seating and ample of parking spaces. I highly recommend and I can't wait for my next visit!

Maybe I just caught them on a bad day or maybe I just picked the wrong flavors because most of the reviews on here are glowing. I got the passion fruit and the pepper/pistachio. The pistachio was largely flavorless apart from the nut pieces mixed in. The passion fruit was too sweet for my liking. Overall, it was not worth driving down here for this but we may need to come back and try the other flavors like peanut butter Etc.

Delicious! I had a sundae with the honey almond crunch, and peanut butter chocolate candy. Yum! Great service too!

Cute little ice cream shop a mere steps from Bettina. I had my eye on the Milk & Cookies but since we arrived about an hour before closing, they had run out. Plan B was Cup O' Joe Spinelli, which was named after Rori's dad. Really enjoyed the soft texture of the ice cream and the aroma of the espresso was a great awakening to the palate. Their cones are house made and with the subtle sweetness of the cone, it was a great balance of bitter and sweet. Was really excited to learn they have a location at Kitchen United Mix in Pasadena and coming soon to OC!

Best ice cream shop I've ever been too but that's just my personal opinion. The staff is young but very friendly. The location is a little crowded and hard to find parking but it's worth the hassle. The shop is small and tidy.

I usually get Rori's chocolate ice cream sandwhich from a local seafood shop in Malibu and this was my first time at an actual Rori's location. The line was long and after waiting for a while, I ordered a scoop in a cone and basically got a tiny kids scoop which was already melted (dark chocolate flavor). The associate could care less. There were kids passing by and an adult who just ordered one scoop in a cup that was humongous. For almost $9 a scoop, I was expecting more. Also, the waffle cone didn't have much taste, tasted more like a sugar cone.

Flavors are fresh and very tasty. Portions are reasonable. One of my favorites stops in Montecito.

I love their ice cream the flavors are so different and refreshing tasting plus so much healthier for you.

Cute tiny ice cream shop. Unfortunately they were out of many flavors but we enjoyed the ones we got! And they give samples! We ordered scoops of the brown sugar banana , honey almond crunch and Malted Milk ball. All creamy and delicious. My favorite of the 3 was the brown sugar banana. Very fresh banana flavor so good! The Malted Milk ball tasted like whopper candy! And lastly the almond crunch reminded me of this yummy crunch cake from a bakery in SF. Almost $7 for a single scoop but it's a big scoop of ice cream. And they sell their ice creams by the pint.

During a spring visit to Montecito a local friend brought me here for dessert and OMG this was the BEST ice cream I have ever had. Its on another level compared to McConnells, which by the way was still delicious. This place just pulls ahead even though they are a fraction the size of their chief competitor. Rori's is a MUST VISIT for anyone seeking Ice cream. Can't wait to come back.

The malted milk ball iced cream is in the top 10% of ice cream I've eaten. In a sundae with honey hot fudge it was very good though I should have stuck with just the ice cream. It's expensive $10.50 fora sue but they also don't nickel and dime you; kid asked for an extra cup and they said no problem. The service is very good.

Excellent ice cream! Subtle, creamy, delicious! No artificial or synthetic flavor, and not overly sweet. Just right! I usually can't have a whole scoop of ice cream because it starts feeling too sugary but I happily had one nice big scoop of the black pepper pistachio and couldn't stop raving about it. It was one of many unique flavors they seem to be serving look forward to trying more soon. It's located in a cute shopping area too so you can get your ice cream and walk around the establishments and burn it off in no time.

Solid local ice cream but flavors were a bit underwhelming. Banana was good, didn't love my Rori Garcia or malt. Get the sense this is the slot in Santa Barbara, but wanted a bit more.

Returned again for an after-dinner treat but this time ordered the itty bitty size like the folks ahead of us. Perfect treat size and next time I'll have to branch out as I did a repeat of the Brown Sugar Banana

While in Montecito, this is a must stop! We tried the espresso, mint, and black pepper pistachio--all were absolutely heavenly! The black pepper pistachio is made with real pistachios and includes NO almonds whatsoever, which the majority of places selling pistachio ice cream use. There is no weird hint or the black pepper, it only allows the ice cream to live up to its utmost potential. The mint is so flavorful, and the espresso definitely does not have any bitterness to it. Delicious boutique ice cream!

A true gem of an ice cream shop with a ton of flavors. We ended up choosing the black pepper pistachio and the brown sugar banana and wow both were so good! The brown sugar banana tasted like a frozen banana, and the black pepper pistachio reminded me of a pistachio gelato. Even though it says black pepper, it's not spicy, the black pepper brings out more of the undertones of the pistachio. I would definitely come here again next time I'm in town!

Pretty good ice cream place! It's in the market place so cute little area to walk around while eating it. The girl serving us was nice. The peanut butter chocolate candy swirl, Lemon curd and serious dark chocolate were all SO good! The NY Strawberry cheesecake was alright, not my favorite. We'd definitely go back if we're in the area again!

A little spendy but the itty bitty size was still a decent sized scoop and the ice cream itself was delicious!! They do allow you to sample flavors before ordering too which is nice since they have such a good menu with unique flavors.

The staff was really friendly the second we walked in and I love the selection of flavors they have! I wish I could be around longer because there's so many flavors I wanted to try! I had just gone on a hike nearby so I was feeling for a shake although ice cream sounded good too. I got some toppings with my shake which went great and my malt shake was delicious! I wish I could get more because it just hit the spot on a warm day after a hike. One thing I do wish would be for the straws to be a bit bigger/wider. But other than that, I need to come back to this ice cream shop. Someone needs to come with me to hold me back from ordering too much from this place. If I'm around again, I can't wait to get some ice cream and a shake from here!

Very tasty, lighter ice cream! My wife and I tried their black pepper pistachio and honey lavender - loved the huge hunks of nuts in the former and the lavender really shined. Staff was most welcoming and the value was undeniable as the scoops were absolutely massive =D

Simply AMAZING artisanal Ice cream!! Nice young ladies waited on us and explained the flavors. Single scoops are huge. Cups and cones are offered. We enjoyed the brown sugar banana and the vanilla raspberry blueberry July special. YUMMY!

Came for a scoop but left with 3 pints and 4 scoops . Rori's has an amazing selection of flavors and they're all pretty unique. I got the NY cheesecake and honey lavender as a split scoop and they were both delicious. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. Covid measures: staff wore masks and gloves. Guests are required to wear masks. Only one group allowed in the store at once. No tasting and can only consume your ice cream outside. Contactless payment. There's lots of outdoor seating just outside.

Tried this and the famed McConnells....the winner by a panel of 4 (2adults and 2 kids) in an unanimous decision ...Rori's! Flavors were more aligned to our liking. Size options for various people/appetites. Love the mix and match option for trying 3 flavors but in smaller quantity then a 2 scoop option which is limited to two flavors. Loved the malt ball and the milk chocolate (latter was less sweet). Black pepper pistachio was good but didn't pop as much as imagined, didn't taste the black pepper. Should have ordered the brown sugar banana but worried it was too sweet- no tastings amongst Covid Daughter loved the lemon curd- she has been on the hunt for a solid lemon flavored gelato for years...finally hit the spot. Son loved the root beer floats. Can't speak to the sundaes but the couple behind us ordered a cone and a side of hot fudge in a cup and he said it was heaven in a cup.

Phenomenal artisan ice cream, especially when we've all been locked down with COVID! I love pistachio ice cream already, but then they put their twist on it with Black Pepper Pistachio - which I found was an amazing pairing with Root Beer Float! They served it in a cup with their sugary waffle cone on top & it couldn't have hit the spot more. I was also eyeing the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Crunch & Nutella options but those will have to wait until next time!

This place was a pain to get to but completely worth the trip. I wish I had room for at least three more scoops than the two I had because it was THAT GOOD. Very small place - counter service only. Lots of seating outside (it's part of an outdoor mall). I am definitely going again. Maybe this weekend. Even though I live 3 hours away.

IF there was a Rori's VS. McConnels debate Roris would take the cake (and ice cream) on every single level. Larger scoops, friendlier staff, fresher ice cream, more gluten free options AND GLUTEN FREE CONES AND COOKIES, better with long lines, even involved in the community! Rori's is everything a local shop should be, even though the have multiple locations. Staff is beyond helpful checking ingredients and changing their scoops for my dietary restrictions (gf)

Such, SUCH a good place to go for ice cream. In fact, Rori's is the best ice cream in town. All organic flavors and home made toppings push this place over the edge! When at Rori's, one can expect amazing service, amazing ice cream with regular and some dairy free options, and fun locations. Pro tip: get three itty bitty flavors (equals the size of one scoop) and enjoy a few different and amazing tastes in one cup (or cone!). One slight downfall is the pricing of the ice cream but one must know it is worth it to pay more for organic!
