RoRo's Chicken

This is a cool little spot to eat some GREAT food. I had a 30 minute lunch and walked to this little spot. I ordered the Beef and Lamb Kafta Plate and a Diet Coke. The food tasted frest and was delicious! I’m returning to try the chicken kabab. I highly recommend this little spot!

The food is great! But the advertised price is miss leading. Although the menu on their website has been updated.. the menu you will find here on google has not been updated in over 2 years. The half chicken is no longer 12.99.. it comes out to about $16.50 after taxes. Also the 2 chicken breast combo is actually only one chicken breast cut in halves. I was disappointed to find this out the hard way after making the purchase. So I’m giving the place 2 stars not because the food was bad, it was actually very good. Its because of the misleading information concerning prices and portion size.

I had the chicken kebab plate. Pretty good. It’s about $16. The kebabs were served quickly so it seems they weren’t made to order. They were tasty however. They come with rice pilaf and a salad plus really good hummus. The man that took our order was really friendly. Ample free parking in a mid sized lot.

Great taste, large number of options (including vegan ones) and good portions. Friendly staff and decent amount of indoor seating. We got the chicken shawarma plate, falafel, fries and salad. All of them, especially the chicken shawarma were excellent with loads of flavor and we were very happy at the end.

Stopped in there after running an errand. Family owned. I had the beef kebab plate and my boyfriend had the half chicken plate. We ate inside. The food came out quickly. Honestly the food was DELICIOUS, especially the beef. Fresh, juicy, marinated well. The chicken was sufficient, large chunk. Rice and salad were tasty. And garlic sauce amazing. Everything tasted fresh. Very much enjoyed our meal. The only cons are... the tables were a little dirty/ had salt or something sandy on them. And you couldn't use the bathroom. So if you're trying to sit and relax, chit chat for a while, this isn't the best place. But if you want a quick bite or to go, very much recommend. Ask for the beef plate. YUM!

The flavors of the main dishes sides and sauces are brimming with taste. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The quality of the ingredients contributes to chef's reputation for serving up authenticity. I am completely addicted to Roro's

Hi I just want to say that yesterday I was in a hurry and a very sweet young man waited on me and got my order in under 3 minutes, it was a chicken wrap sandwich and really quite good for a quick lunch. It was moderately priced and just what I wanted, I wish I had gotten the name of the employee and the cook. They were both so sweet and the vibe was nice.

Ordered a vegetarian combo plate. (#15; $15). Very fresh and good flavor. The falafel it’s different from many other places I’ve been to. A small restaurant perfect for takeout or a quick lunch.

The BEST grape leaves, the best kebabs. The grape leaves taste like my grandmother's recipe. And amazing service. I used Roro for an afterparty last holiday season and the Kebabs were a total hit and we ran out. So juicy, so flavorful. So of course we had to do it again this year. Roger is so easy to work with and so accommodating, I really appreciate him and his staff! If you haven't been to Roro's go NOW.

I discovered this place about 5 years ago and have been coming back ever since! I can't believe I haven't left a review sooner! My go to order is a chicken shawarma plate, wings and French fries! Let me tell you , this is the best shawarma I've had! Anytime I crave chicken shawarma I drive 35 min here just for it! Service has always been great and they're very attentive, I definitely recommend!!

Tried the combination plate with chicken kebabs and beef with rice and salad. Liked the garlic sauce and all the food was flavorful. The chicken kebabs were slightly dry, but good overall. Definitely want to try the shawarma next time because my wife raves about it. I always like supporting small businesses like this so we will definitely be back

I've been coming to RoRo's for like 15 years or something. Nothings changed and it's still just as tasty as ever. In a world where quality seems to diminish over time, RoRo's has stood the testament of time and is still one of my favorite hole in the wall spots to eat at in Hollywood. The service is very friendly and the food is very tasty! Don't forget the garlic sauce! A great addition to any meal. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate. It comes with pita bread and they will heat up the pita for you if you ask. The hummus is amazing and I love making my own little pita pockets out of the ingredients on the plate. The side salad is very yummy too with an amazing dressing!

These guys are FIRE too. Love the Beef SHawarma plates and Chicken salad here. Some of the Middle Eastern food you will find in all of Hollywood. We were here a few weeks ago, and I was impressed with this place. Nice seating and vibe here. Parking was a pain in the ass to look for. But it was what i expected. Nice workers, and friendly people working here. My mouth is always juicy for good food.

Friendly service and delicious food! Got the chicken kabob plate. Chicken was super tender and flavorful. Tastes even better in their garlic sauce. Salad dressing was really good. Hummus and pita was standard. Go check them out! A lot of food for the price!

Chicken Salad Been coming here.since 1999. always get the Chicken Salad. I love their dressing. They are friendly as well. I think it's family owned.. Comfortable ambiance. They've survived all these years. Commendable.

Rude Walked in could barely open there door as it's really hard and heavy to push open for some reason Used my foot to help both hands to push it open Pushed it all the way not slamming it open And the worker or owner Scolded me saying "don't open my door like that you'll break it" How would I break if by opening it all the way It was heavy not light where it could have even been slammed open Yeah I'm not giving you my money Your rude and accusing me of your door problems I'm a petite women alone If you treat your potential customers poorly you probably prep your food poorly Didn't feel safe to eat there anymore

Great food, I've been coming here for about 15 years now and the quality has always been solid. I've had pretty much everything on the menu too. The rotisserie chicken is always tasty and juicy, the skewers are all delicious too. I enjoy their falafel, dolma, hummus and babaghanoush very much. The wings are small and wonderful, definitely worth a try! (They're not like the usual, bigger wings you get at other places but I love 'em and honestly think they're better than most). Only thing about this place is the small and crowded parking lot, it can be annoying at times - but that's not their fault, come try this delicious food!!

Disgusting taste and very expensive . We were last week . They don't even have restroom. Also lot of bam has easy access to get in .

This place met all expectations. Cozy casual spot with very delicious food, generous portions, warm and friendly customer service. Food came out quickly. There is a parking lot as its located in a little strip mall but we found street parking. Chicken shawarma and kefta kebob recommended. Delicious hummus. Enjoy!!

Been working in the neighborhood for about a decade and all these new spots pop up but either they are too expensive w/ small portions or just no flavor at all. RoRo's is always my go-to, chicken salad is my fave!

Kebobs are dry. Shawarma is okay. I've had better Mediterranean food. I'm surprised this place has 4 stars. If you know Mediterranean food then you would know better than to accept this. Everything tastes reheated . And their rice tastes like microwave rice. Only reason it has two stars is because they deliver for cash.

I've been craving RoRo's Chicken for awhile now. The food is always delicious. This establishment always has the warmest hospitality! Love this place!!! Two thumbs up!!

RoRo's is a nice local eatery with good Kabobs and a relaxed atmosphere. My Kabob meal was tasty even through the kabobs themselves were just a little dry and I could say this also of the rice as well. If I were in the neighborhood I would eat here again. Everything was clean and the service was good otherwise.

Edible, but primarily for people who don't know any better. For the same prices there are places with more passion and flavor.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! Everything from the food to the customer service was excellent!!! I had to order 16 lunches for a work event. I'm not from the area so I yelped what restaurants were close to the location. After reading the reviews I decided to give RoRos a try. I'm so glad I did. I called them the day before and placed the order. They made it very convenient and answered all my questions. They called me to let me know an hour before my pick up time that the order would be ready on time. So nice and professional. The location is a small storefront next to a 7-11 in a small shopping center. If you blink you can miss it. There was plenty of parking when I went at 11:45. I told the guys that I was excited to try their food and it smelled great! He immediately made me a sandwich so I could try it right there in front of them. The chicken shawarma was AMAZING! And that was so nice of them to do. After the work event every single person came up to me and said that they thoroughly enjoyed the food! We got chicken shawarma plates and falafel plates for the vegetarians. It was mouthwatering! They provided pita bread, napkins and utensils for us. As I was leaving he said "you'll be back" and he's 10000% right. RoRos is definitely a take out place. They do have a few tables inside if you need to eat there. Thank you RoRos. You will see us again!! Yummm!!

I ordered a large catering order for a work related meeting of about 15 people. The food came exactly on time from a friendly, helpful delivery driver. The food was excellent. Everyone loved it! I ordered the mixed kabobs, chicken kabobs and tabuleh salad. It came with a delicious salad, rice, hummus, pickled radish, garlic sauce and pita bread. It was all so delicious I can't recommend this place enough!

The best fast food. Fresh and perfectly seasoned. Have been ordering for over 15 years. Always my to go place when I don't want to cook.

Ordered a combo special falafel wrap fries can soda 6 bucks, ehh but cheap, although they do have some good specials, I am not sure I will be going back.

Ordered for take out - delicious! Very fast service. The chicken kabob was so juicy and flavorful. The shawarma wasn't your usual shawarma but it was tasty and no food was left over. Must try!

RoRo's is a okay place to get lebanese chicken. The best part of the restaurant is its price and speedy service. Its not the best looking restaurant but counter person is friendly. The price is right and serving size is ample. They do give you plenty of pita. If I was by myself and needed a quick bite, this would be a decent choice. Otherwise, its a pass.

So....I'll be the 1st to admit that I came here because it was walking distance from my air BNB and I wanted some really good food before I heading to the airport. This place is the most unassuming mom & pop spot with some indoor seating and quick service. I was actually a bit wary, as the shopping plaza is a bit run down . Lucky me, yelp has amazing reviews of this place. After perusing the menu and seeing really good pricing, I walked out with a chicken kabob platter ($9.99). The cashier was nice, but I couldn't help but to notice that there is an additional charge for paying with a card that was added without notice to my bill. The food! I Stepped outside and waited for my Uber while tasting a small bite of hummus and chicken. *This food* is delicious in every way. It is perfectly seasoned without being salty and packed with flavor. You can tell that the rice was well seasoned and the chicken kebab had been marinated and grilled over a long period of time, which allowed the chicken to be so juicy and tender. Truly delicious! Eating that Roro's made me smile and brightened my day. Food: 6/5 Ambience: 3/5 ( not fancy and relaxed atmosphere) Prices: 5/5 Roro's is a must try in Los Angeles, I will return again and again.

Totally and completely an accidental find. The interior leaves a lot to be desired, but the food was astounding. I had just gone to the little shopping center to get my toes done and saw this place, hopped in for hummus, baba ghanouj, and falafel. Which are kind of my staples. I can honestly say that all three from this place we're probably in my top five all-time favorites. Whatever recipes they're using. Need to be trademarked. :-) Good job guys! sorry, no pictures, I inhaled.

Some of the best hummus and rice I've had in my life. Incredibly tender chicken with a flaky, crisped skin... the garlic sauce is comparable to Chicken Maison's garlic sauce but more garlic based instead of cream. The baklava simply changed my life -- RIDICULOUSLY buttery, flaky, and fairly proportioned in its ingredients. All for $10-15 per meal? Roro's Chicken is an LA gem. 30 years strong!

I got their take out Beef Shawarma Plate, it was honestly disappointing, the beef was dry, brunt, and have too much cinnamon type seasoning that you don't get the meat flavor anymore (not to mention I am not sure if there was any flavor considered the meat was burnt. Their pita bread is good, so are their garlic sauce and hummus, however, I would not be going to a place just for their side dishes when their main dish is this disappointing. Otherwise, I would recommend Zanku for this type of food as you can get it around the same price for better quality. They do charge 50 cents per sauce that you ask for, which I get because some people abuse the system, but by charging that much it also discourages one person from wanting to try it.

Very quiet atmosphere when I went, it wasn't too busy but I enjoyed that!

I've been going to RoRo's since I was a music student nearby in 2007. Whenever I am in town I always try to stop by. Really clean, great quality food, affordable, and authentic. The family has been running this business for almost 30 years, really nice folks. They truly care about their customers. Go support them and keep them in biz!

Anytime any of my celebrity clients have a craving for middle eastern food they ask me to take them to Ro Ro's chicken in Hollywood. It's been Hollywoods greatest kept secrets! Most of their clientele are from Warner Brothers or Paramount Pictures. They've been around for almost 30 years and personally my favorite myself. If you get a chance try them out YOU WON'T regret it !

Loved going to this place but every time I call and order the same thing somehow the price is always different each time? I called them out on the phone and the guy hung up on me so maybe don't call and order if you go here.

In the mood for some quick takeout. Made the order over the phone What I ate - Chicken kabob combo: very good. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, not too try - Falafel: a miss for me. In the drier side and soggy by the time I got home Pros: - Great for take out - Parking lot, small - Price was right for the amount of food No cons that I can think of Would I come again? Sure

I was visiting LA and my friends had recommended Roro's. I had never heard of it, so it wasn't on my list of places I wanted to try. But for sure a local favorite. Definitely won't be my last time here though. My friend who doesn't like chicken shawarma recommended the chicken shawarma plate. The plate comes with rice, chicken, salad, hummus, garlic sauce, and 2 pita breads. It's a standard salad and the hummus was pretty good. The chicken is moist and perfect seasoned. The rice is fluffy and soft. I'm not sure what's in their garlic sauce, but oh my goodness it is so freaking delicious. I want to put it on everything. My friends told me the garlic not only lingers on your breath but will permeate through your pores. This did not stop us from consuming a good amount of it. Totally worth smelling like I'm trying to repel vampires. The pricing is very reasonable. Food prep time was pretty quick.

As soon as we walked in and noticed the Lebanese talk show on the TV, we knew this place would be legit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and just really really good. You will not be disappointed!

If you're on a budget, there is no better deal in all of Los Angeles than RoRo's sandwiches (really pita wraps). $3 for a falafel sandwich that fills you up! I don't know how they turn a profit! When I go to the Egyptian theater/American Cinematheque, I always stop here beforehand.

This lil place was recommend to me, I tried and I go now frequently. I get the combo plate, and so far it has hit the spot every time! I always call in order, it's usually pretty fast. I would definitely give this place a try.

New in the area and was hungry so I walked in around 4:45 to try #4, chicken shawarma plate. There was a nice woman standing there to take my order and the man behind the counter prepared it immediately. There was only 1 guy eating and it was very quiet and quite warm inside. Maybe some fan/AC and music?? I like eating alone a lot but I felt a bit uncomfortable with the dining area being a bit empty and the woman just standing there in silence. 2/3 way through my meal, I started sweating. Service was friendly. As soon as I was done, the woman cleared my plate and they both asked me how everything was. I could've cleared my own plate but that was very nice of her. The food was good and flavorful. The chicken could've been more moist though, it was a bit dry. But seasoned very well and the tiny charred pieces were very yummy. I wish the rice was yellow, most places service colored rice with spices... Just wanted to put it out there. White rice reminds me of Chinese food and middle eastern definitely needs its distinction. I was surprised I got 2 whole round pitas with my meal! No one serves 2 whole pitas! I ate both of it with their delicious hummus. The white sauce that comes in a solo cup is very garlicky btw! If you're gonna go on a date later, maybe skip this haha because the taste followed me home until midnight. But it's REALLY good, you wanna keep eating it. Don't say I didn't warned you. :) I would come back to try more of their meats, hopefully it'll be juicier!

I placed a pretty big order hours before lunch and they were super quick. Love the portion size and that it is made by a family.

What an awesome hole in the wall spot. You don't need a fancy sit down dinner to enjoy good Lebanese food. My baby and I came in to get a Kafta Plate, French fries, and chicken wings. And they did not disappoint. I will definitely come back if ever I am in the area again.
