Delicious Thai food, portions are big , meat was soft, perfectly cooked and fresh as well seafood. Fried mushrooms were just perfect . Pad see-ew noodles taste so good. You can ask spicy or not spicy when you order the dish. Service is nice , attentive and careful. Absolutely recommend to visit.

This place is amazing. Food is delicious and the service was quick. My wife and i absolutely enjoyed the dishes and cleaned the plates. Started of with a thai iced tea which is not too sweet that way i prefer. Hed tod (fried oyster mushroom) was unlike anything i had before. Their fried rice (kao pad) was spicy and flavorful. Pad prik khing was fantastic. We are going to visit again and try other dishes. Ah wait sticky mango rice was good too and not too sweet.

I asked for a sprite. They brought out a glass with ice, and I though oh that's cool they give you a chilled glass.. no, it was just extremely dirty 🥲. The shrimp cakes tasted identical to the fish sticks you get in the frozen isle at the store, and the texture was like a hard chicken nugget. I ate there yesterday. Sadly overnight, and today my stomach has been a mess 😢💔 Update: it's been confirmed I got food poisoning 😢

A must-try for Thai food lovers! We tried the red curry, pad phed and it was bursting with rich, well-balanced flavors. The spice level was just right, and the portions were good. The ambiance is cozy, The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a great dining experience.

We were excited to try a different Thai restaurant but hopes were dashed after ordering take out and arrive to our home 40mins away. We ordered Kao Pad Kra Prow we should include green beans and red peppers and as the picture demonstrates, no green beans and peppers used to make the dish. When we called to explain the issue the person on the phone stated “we don’t make the dish with those ingredients”. Well that seems deceptive!! We asked to speak to a manager and she stated the owners had just left and she will notify the owners. She said you can call tomorrow to ask to speak to the owners. We tried calling but could get a hold of the owners!! STAY AWAY!! NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT THIS RESTAURANT IS YOU ORDER TAKE OUT!!! This is truly disappointing because you would assume a small business owner would care about all customers but customer facing employees are providing a disservice to the restaurant.

Authentic Thai flavors + exceptional service! This place blew me away. From the moment we sat down, the service was top notch — they even refreshed our table and changed the setting between the appetizer and main course, which felt incredibly thoughtful and elevated the whole experience. As someone who’s eaten all over Thailand, I can confidently say: this is the real deal. Every bite transported me straight back — bold, balanced flavors, perfectly executed dishes, and beautiful presentation. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re craving authentic Thai food with warm, attentive service, this spot is a must. 👏🇹🇭

So glad I tired this today! Such a cute little place…. staff was very nice and I never had to ask for anything! I don’t eat much so I think they thought I didn’t like it but it was delicious! I got the salad rolls to start the sauce was sooo yummy. Then had the #37 Pad Kra Prow added mushrooms too it! This too was delicious lil sweet and had just the right amount of spice! Had to finish off with the sticky mango rice 🤤

Google
I’ve been here twice, once with a group of friends and for getting takeout. Some of the best Thai food in Austin and they can make it spicier than most restaurants, which I love! The Thai iced tea is perfect, too, just the right amount of sweetness. Beautiful presentation, even with the takeout. The service has always been excellent. The interior design of the restaurant is cute. It would be a nice spot for a date. I’m excited to keep coming back.

Yelp
Tried Ros Niyom Thai and really enjoyed the food! The dishes were flavorful, and if you ask for spice, they deliver. Everything was well-seasoned and tasted authentic. The ambiance was nice--great for a casual meal or a night out. The only downside was the service, which was just average. It wasn't bad, but it could have been more attentive. Overall, a solid spot for tasty Thai food with a good atmosphere. Would come back!

Yelp
I got the pad Thai with pork, which is one of my go-to Thai orders. I thought it was delicious, and I liked how there was some tofu in it too as some restaurants don't include tofu in addition to your meat of choice. The only thing was that the pork tasted somewhat off. It just had an unusual taste, and I frequently order this at different Thai restaurants, so it was a noticeable difference. The pad Thai was $15, and it was a large portion. I had a little left over, but I could have easily finished it. Placing an online order for pickup here was easy. They have designated parking close to the restaurant just for pickup. The restaurant looks cozy, and the lady who helped me was friendly.

Yelp
I was very excited to try this restaurant out as I saw so many good reviews on yelp. I love Thai food. It is my comfort food. I ordered my staple, I always order same food when I go try a new Thai restaurant -Tom yum soup -pad Thai -basil friend rice -one type of curry It is just to get the baseline of the restaurant. Today I was pretty disappointed with the food I got. The pad Thai and the fried rice were both very soggy. Didn't think it was fried, but kind of wet. And the curry had a bit of a bitter taste to it, maybe I'm just not used to the veggie they used. Tom yum soup was amazing tho. I really loved the soup. Service was quick and the severs were very nice as well too. The restaurant is small but it didn't feel like I was too close to other people small. Nice set ups. Just wish the food was a little bit better! Maybe it was just one time thing, maybe I should try it one more time!

Yelp
This place is just great. On a Sunday evening it was packed, and I'm not surprised! Not a ton of seating but cozy and the food is delicious.

Yelp
Food: excellent skewers. The sauce for the pork skewers was amazing. I added it to the jasmine rice and it just changes the flavor. The pad thai was cooked to perfection and noodles and seasoning very well done. Service: they make recommendations, they are very nice, you will never get thirsty and they ensure you have water every second. Ambiance: Perfect for a date, casual meeting or lunch, a small group family or you can get the entire restaurant. It is a small but appropriate. The music is not super loud like other places and you can have nice conversations. Price: great pricing. It is average for the area and very fair for the amount and quality

Yelp
Giving this place 5 stars because of their addicting garlic pork belly. We ate it so fast, wish the portion was a bit bigger. The aroma of the pork belly was irresistible, rich with the savory scent of garlic. Pad see ew was decent, could have been a bit saltier and more flavorful. I just asked for the spice rack and that helped. Very cute decorations inside! Our waitress was sweet, she made a lot of recommendations and knew the menu very well.

Yelp
This place is located right off 35 near flix brew house. I believe it's been there for quite sometime however I've never been before and I haven't no idea why. It's not a large place. They had plenty on the menu for both meat eaters and vegetarians. For our meal we tried the following: We tried the shrimp cakes 2/5- I think these had chicken in them or maybe a soy protein i forgot to ask ,but highly doubt it was shrimp only. Reminded me of a chicken patty we got in elementary school. The sauce it came with was taste but I wouldn't order that again! We also tried the fried mushroom app-3.5/5 to me they tasted like they were sitting in oil too long but they were still good. The oyster mushrooms were chopped / torn into small pieces and it wasn't whole oyster mushrooms that were served. yellow curry-w veggies (4.5/5) kinda disappointed we asked for veggies and it came out with tofu- personally I don't eat tofu but the others at the table did so it worked out. This was a typical curry on point for flavors but wish there had been more potato or veg. The steamed shrimp salad with magos was surprisingly really yummy! (5/5) Since we were all sharing I had it on my plate with the noodles and curry and it was good mixed with those or by itself! Perfect flavor and very refreshing! Needed some actual chopped lettuce or cabbage but I would order again! Pad kee mow with shrimp was very good (5/5) we got spice level 2 and had the spice tray so everyone could add to their liking! The bean sprouts were served on the side and not mixed in which was odd but I did like the fresh crunch since they weren't soaked in sauce. My friends tried the Thai tea which they both liked! Thai is one of my favorites and I'll definitely be keeping this place in mind moving forward!

Yelp
Cozy casual spot serving up some of the best Thai I've had in the area. We had spring rolls, fried trout fillet, green papaya salad, and a pork belly entree. The fish was the star in my opinion! But everything was overall so tasty. Loved the service. Even though they were busy, they came in a timely manner to take our orders and food came out quick, hot, and fresh. Our cups were never empty but the servers weren't overwhelming either. They knew exactly when to show up. Best part is that it is so affordable! The entire meal (4 menu items) plus a beer was $65. Must visit!

Yelp
The green curry chicken they served me for lunch was average. Perhaps they make other dishes that are rave-worthy.

Yelp
Came in just for desert (I have ordered food to go and it was very good) Ordered the mango sticky rice and the fried banana and ice cream. The mango sticky rice wasn't bad but I believe we were hoping to have more mango flavor in the rice and not just topped with mango. The fried bananas could use a knife and also just lack a bit of flavor. My personal favorite variation of this comes from shockingly P.F. Chang's and they add some vanilla and caramel drizzle on top and I think I was hoping for a little bit more from both dishes. The service was prompt and even in our short visit our waters were refilled multiple times and staff and attentive. I still highly recommended for dinner.

Yelp
This is a small but cute spot in Round Rock. The service was excellent, and every plate we tried was fireee. I highly recommend the yum ma moung--it's a must-try! They also have a good spice tray with chili paste, prik nam pla, and another spicy powder that add the perfect kick to your meal. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I came to this location on the last visit on 6/18/23. I elected to go to Tom Yum and Khao Pad Poo. Many who read my reviews know that I adore Thai food both here and in Thailand. Thai cuisine is a truly scrumptious and nourishing culinary experience. It is full of digestive health benefits, flavorful spices that can help bolster your immune system, and is packed with vital nutrients that make it a great choice for anyone looking to improve their health. There are many kinds of Thai fried rice such as fried rice with meat, shrimp, tuna, pork, chicken, crab, etc. Crab fried rice, or Khao Pad Poo in Thai (Poo means crab and Khao Pad means fried rice), is one of the best Thai dishes to ever hit your palate as it's sweet and savory at the same time! The serving size for the Tom Khao Pad Poo was filling and required no additional seasoning and can be enjoyed as a stand alone dish. #supportlocal

Yelp
A decent spot for a casual bite. The flavors are quite good but the textures were off. The noodles were overcooked and the rice was cooked with too much water. I've never had squash curry before but it really just tasted like a Panang curry with cubes of squash in it - not bad but I was hoping for something more unique.

Yelp
A solid authentic Thai restaurant in North Austin! I ordered their Por Pier Tod (spring rolls), Pad Thai Chicken and their Kang Dang Pal (red curry) with chicken. The spring rolls was a tad but on the oily side but the plum sauce paired nicely with it. The Pad Thai was solid and tasted authentic. The Red Curry was delicious, not too sweet which I really enjoyed and you can customize the spice level to your liking. Their menu looked extensive and had a lot of unique dishes that I hope to try soon!

Yelp
Near authentic Thai place in round rock . Ordered the khao pad kra prow fried rice with chicken . It was good and not too oily, medium spicy tasted great and food was ready in 15 min to pick up . Only thing is it is not the usual chicken fried rice, it is minced chicken and there was not much chicken . But would still give it 5 stars for the taste .

Yelp
I saw this place recommend by Austin food blogger eats n noods. It's a bit out of the way for me but I'll make the drive again! I ordered the pad Thai and it was top notch no complaints. Shoutout to the wait staff here, everyone was so friendly and my water was always topped

Yelp
Arrived almost at the end of their lunch service, but they were welcoming and patient. We ordered the Thai stir-fried catfish and it was to die for. I've had this dish at Titaya's before and their version is so much better. The kaffir lime leaves made the dish taste so fresh and I picked the medium spice level which was still reasonably spicy without being overwhelming. The pad kee mow was tasty, but not my favorite as it's a dish I order often and I've had better. However, overall a great choice for a good dish. I'll be back to try a few other chef suggestions that caught my eye.

Yelp
Ros Niyom was pretty good. I got take out the pad Thai was lacking in tamarind, still a decent pad Thai and reasonably priced. The tod mun Goong was fine. It felt like the shrimp cake patty was tough and chewy. Felt more like an over cooked tonkatsu. Not pictured is the Curry Puff that was delicious. It's curry forward and the pastry was fantastic.

Yelp
First time coming here, food, service, music, everything was excellent! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

Lil B.

Yelp
The food was insanely good, Thai tea was the perfect amount of sweetness and not watered down, I got the #48 and by boyfriend got #42 (I think) and both were so well seasoned, the pork belly was perfectly crisp and tender. Already want to go back again. Plus our waiter was super nice and attentive.

Yelp
This is a great spot for some authentic Thai food with fantastic service! The interior is clean and well decorated, food came out quickly, and everything was delicious! FAST FACTS: * Closed on Mondays * Pick up and delivery available... order on their website * Reward system available... sign up on their website * Tons of vegetarian options * Located in a shopping center with tons of parking SERVICE - Nothing but great things to say about the service! We arrived around 8:00 pm on a Saturday night and got seated right away. Our server was extremely attentive with checking on us to see if we had what we needed, our water cups were constantly getting refilled, and plates we were no longer using were cleared super quickly from our table. PRICING - Very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food! SALAD ROLL (9/10) - Look, it's a rice paper roll with some veggies and imitation crab so it's nothing fancy BUT the dressing that comes with it has a nice sweet flavor and I feel like portion size of 4 rolls for $6.50 is fantastic! TOM KHA (10/10) - This had the perfect amount of spice... the flavor of the coconut milk still shined but the delayed heat added a nice depth to the flavor. It's a HUGE portion and is served in a Thai fire pot so it stays nice and warm the entire time you're enjoying it! PAD THAI WITH PRAWNS (9/10) - Fantastic Pad Thai... the shrimp were cooked perfectly, there was a big helping of bean sprouts on the side as well as the crushed peanuts, and the sauce was sweet which is exactly what I want from a Pad Thai! Honestly, one of the highlights was the tofu... I'm not usually a big fan of tofu but these pieces were DELICIOUS! The noodles were a little on the soft side and the shrimp still had tails on (it's just personal preference but I would have rathered them be off) but otherwise this would have been a 10/10! PAD KRA PROW WITH CHICKEN (9/10) - We got this with a medium spice level but it wasn't very spicy at all... we'd probably go hotter next time. It's served with jasmine rice on the side and you can get more if needed. It looked like a small portion when it was first brought to the table but once you start eating it with the rice, there's a lot more than you realize. This was our first visit but we will definitely come back here in the future to fulfill our Thai cravings... great experience from start to finish and will recommend Ros Niyom Thai to others!

Yelp
My husband and I first tried Ros Niyom during COVID when indoor dining was not an option. It was a decent takeout meal, perhaps not the best given the state of the world, and we haven't had a chance to go back since then. Fast forward to last weekend, we found ourselves in Round Rock once more and rediscovered Ros Niyom as our new favorite Thai restaurant! Between the two of us, we shared the Moo Ping pork skewers, Tom Kha, and Pad Kee Mow. Pricing is very fair considering the portions and generous amount of protein in the dishes. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly flavored, and the noodles even came with a delicious char that you only get with masterful wok-cooking. If you're less adventurous with spice, I recommend getting an order of white rice or Thai milk tea on the side. Ros Niyom offers a spice scale of 1-3 stars and even the lowest option packed a good amount of heat. The restaurant is cozy, meticulously decorated, and well-cared for by a team of attentive staff. We marveled at how quickly dishes were flying out the window and at how efficiently tables were turned around after happy customers wrapped up their meal. I'm already thinking about ordering the steamed fresh whole fish and mango sticky rice next time I go to Ros Niyom - hopefully very soon!

Yelp
As a frequent traveler to Thailand, Ros Niyom is the spot! They have great options. Here are some must haves: Pad Thai: Hands-down one of the most authentic Pad Thai in Austin. Tangy and sweet flavors that can bring a smile to your face. *Ask for chili powder if you want it spicy Tom Kha: Creamy and tangy soup made from coconut. You can adjust the spice level, which is always great. Mild is good since there's a light kick to it, sure can satisfy a group of non-spicy and spicy eaters. One can share between 2-3 people. Fried fish: (forgot to take a picture :() Fresh fish fried to perfection with a side of fish sauce, mango, and red onion. *There are small pieces of Thai chili in the fish sauce which is VERY SPICY so WATCH OUT! But it tastes amazing :) Peter and the staff there are so nice. We had a chance to talk to Peter when we first came and when we returned, he recognized us and remember what we talked about. That's what I call great customer service. They are attentive and always make sure you have the best experience. The restaurant is small and cozy so if you have a big group, chances you may not be able to find tables during peak hours. Recommend to call in advance I would say the price is reasonable to its value and quality. Portion is not too big, but will make you satisfied leaving. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Tiger I.

Yelp
Food quality & flavor: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 (a bit warm & bumid inside) If you want flavor packed authentic thai food, this is the place to go. I literally dream of the food here. I recommend the Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Pad Prik Khing, Tom Yum Soup, Curry Puffs, and Papaya Salad.
google avatar

Chelsea L.

Yelp
What I got: 46. Pad Ka Na Moo Krob First time! I like the interior and we were able to get seated immediately. I think there should have been more rice for my entree (it came with the bowl of rice). It would be even better if the meat was already on top of rice on a plate. The pork is good and crispy but very mundane. I would love to try their noodles next time!

Yelp
My sons' most requested place to eat to celebrate or when craving Thai. (Not Thai, but was born in Thailand, so his roots were sprouted there.) Hands down the best for its curry puffs, and Moo Ping, and the ambience. Modern and typical but beautiful Thai. One greenery wall with benches and one golden swirly flowery wooden decals wall on the other side. Little place, but lovely's The owner can be found there most of the time and is always up for a little chat. All of their staff are friendly, and are definitely going the extra mile to please your desire for good service. We have tried most on their menu and all are wonderfully flavored. I only suggest a different kind of chicken cut (thighs instead?) for their Tom Kha Kai, it tends to taste tasteless and dry. Other than that, I suggest everybody to try them all! You won't regret.

Yelp
We stopped by this place to check it out while we were in round rock. I was surprised to see that they had a vegetarian menu. It was actually really nice and had a lot of options. I believe they also had a lot of vegan options as well. The service was great. Our waiter was really informative. He told us to be careful with the spice level because he didn't want us to accidentally order too high in spice. I'm glad he told us that because this place is a little spicier than most. I ended up not having any spice on mine, and I added it as needed, which worked great. I got my usual drunken noodles and was really happy with my dish. The ambience of this location is also super cute. I think it's a great restaurant, I would definitely go again. Also, it looks like it is not a chain and his family own which I love supporting small businesses like that!

Yelp
Good food and good service. We ordered soups and fishes and everything tasted yum. We also ordered fried tofu which was okey. I do recommend.

Yelp
Ros Niyom is the one of best Thai food restaurants in the North Austin/Round Rock area. The service is excellent. Peter always takes care of my family and remembers our favorite dishes. Their papaya salad is made the authentic way, not with a Julienne peeler, but by hacking at it with a knife. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Their Thai spicy level is HOT. If you've got a high spice tolerance, this will give you a nice warm burn. The prices for each dish are so reasonable too! If you need an affordable bite to eat, this is your place.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Food was decent, portion sizes were pretty small, however. We came in with a party of 5, my meal took the longest even though I order first, it took an extra 10 minutes than the rest of theirs. I was famished so maybe it just felt super long.

Ferris T.

Yelp
Today we tried lunch at Ros Niyom Thai after reading the recommendation of Matthew Odom of the Austin Statesman. Mr. Odom was accurate in describing how good the service and food was. Our server, Peter, was courteous, prompt with the food, and offered excellent recommendations. The menu offers over 70 selections. They offer different levels of how spicy you want the food from none to out of this world. We highly recommend Ros Niyom Thai. They are closed on Mondays.

Yelp
Hands down, one of the best Thai food restaurants here! I don't usually find myself up in the Round Rock area, but the food keeps me coming back. I've tried a few different dishes here on various visits and can vouch for their quality. The pad see ew is always a hit, the moo ping is a personal favorite, the tom yum is a generous portion, the duck curry is hearty, and their mango sticky rice is one of the best - the sweetness of the dish plus the texture of the sticky rice is spot on. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. Their staff is attentive and always has water on hand. There are a lot of options on the menu and will definitely be back to try more.

Yelp
Food was delicious and quick to be served. Got the fried mushrooms and the Tom Yum soup, so yummy and hits the spot on a chilly night. The vibe is lovely and clean. The service was super fast, walked right in on a Sat night and got a table, there was a round 85% of the restaurant full. They kept the tables serviced and turning for new customers. They have a heavy take out business as well. Very popular spot from what I witnessed. It's a must try! I will be back.

Yelp
You gotta thai and try! We had to go into this restaurant with an open mind. After being scarred from not finding an authentic thai restaurant in town, I was very nervous to try this place! I personally really enjoyed it. My mother forgot the open minded portion and kept on comparing it to vietnamese-thai cuisine. If you haven't tried thai food before and are sensitive to spicy food, mild is the way to go. It still had its kick and is very doable. We really enjoyed the Thai tea! It was flavorful and not watered down. Papaya salad from my perspective was great. It was seasoned and had flavor. I do think that it needed lime and could've done without the side of cabbage. My mother was saying that it needed crab sauce. I'm not quite sure if that's a vietnamese thing or what. It doesn't come with rice, so order rice if you like eating that with your papaya salad. Tom yum soup was amazing!! We got it was chicken and there was a ton of that in there. Veggies were perfect. We ended up taking the rest home and eating it for breakfast. Same rice comment here as previously. Meal: we both enjoyed ours! Mom ate all of her noodles for once. Mine was a seafood based meal. Every meat was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Yum!! Sticky mango rice. We ate all of this in a jiffy!! That rice is AMAZING. It was perfectly cooked - not too sticky and not too hard. We would've preferred coconut flakes on it as well, but that might be a vietnamese thing. Overall, we had a great time and were not disappointed in the food! Next time we know to make the accommodations and we'll have an even better time!

Yelp
I heard this was a really good Thai place and I enjoy Thai food so I wanted to check it out. I order Chicken Pad Thai and this one had tofu in it. I've never had Pad Thai with tofu before but it was pretty good so I didn't mind it. I've had Pad Thai at a lot of restaurants and this is one of the better places I've tried. The spicy level was medium and it wasn't too spicy for me. The waiters were attentive and refilled our waters whenever we were almost empty. Overall, it was a nice place and the portion sizes are filling!

Yelp
Amazing!! This is a lovely hidden gem tucked away in Round Rock. All the flavors are on point and super authentic. They also have dishes that you dont normally find at other Thai restaurants like the duck larb (sooo yummy). My boyfriend and I come here every week and all of the workers here are so lovely and personable. We have tried many dishes and they have all been really good. I highly recommend the crispy pork with gailan if you want some veggies, the papaya salad with prawns is soo good, duck larb, grilled pork neck, and if you want something soupy you need to try the waterfall beef noodles (soooo yummy). Also if you saved enough room make sure you get the mango sticky rice (it is not overly sweet which makes it even better).

Yelp
Best Thai and best service. Always fresh and authentic, the taste is on another level. I recommend everything but my favorite is the papaya salad, fried catfish, and Tom Kha. Ok I'm drooling now. Oh, and the fried mushrooms if you're dining there. The curry puffs, another star. I could go on. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. The owner is always in the kitchen. Also order everything medium spicy... chefs kiss!

Yelp
Came here on a weekday, so it wasn't super crowded when we arrived. The décor of the restaurant is super cute and homey when you come in. Something nice about Ros Niyom Thai is that they still have paper menus which a lot of places have resorted to QR code menus which isn't bad but kind of takes that whole experience out of dining out. Anyways onto the food review, our server was super attentive and we ordered a couple of apps to start off with. We got the Curry puffs as well as the Satay. Everything was perfect, the Satay was cooked perfectly and the ajat salad went super well with the skewers. The curry puffs had a really good flaky crust with a samosa-like filling and was probably my favorite! The entree items we shared together were the Pad See-Ew with beef and the Kang Karee with chicken. The Pad See-Ew was a tad bit sweeter at this restaurant than at other Thai restaurants I've been to but was still delicious. I like the Kang Karee more for its creamy consistency. I would definitely come back to try out more dishes in the future!

Yelp
A cute little place with great Thai food! The portions are also decently sized especially for their great prices. Some notes: I got medium spice for the curry, and although it was tolerable and still really yummy, it was a decent amount of spicy. (I'm usually pretty okay with some spice) And obviously the mango sticky rice is best when mangos are in season, but delicious all the same!

Yelp
One of Round Rocks best kept secrets. As a family we love Thai food and we each have our favorites. Our go-tos are Thai tea, Tofu Thai fried rice, Pad Ki Mao and either a green or red curry with choice of protein. The Thai tea here was excellent not too sweet and tasted like they had freshly brewed the tea. The red curry ,fried rice and Pad ki Mao were also spot on. Price (in my opinion) reflected the perfect portion size. Nothing left to doggy bag but not so small that we left feeling hungry. We went on a weekend for lunch. It was busy but the staff seated us within minutes . They were attentive and hospitable. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back. Thanks for the great experience Ros Niyom!

Yelp
When you're making plans to return before the dinner is over, you know it's a good meal! Food is flavorful & authentic. Prices are reasonable although some of the portions are small. We tried the following: Papaya salad - I'm a sucker for papaya salad and usually order it at every Thai restaurant. Ros Niyom's was fresh and flavorful! We ordered Medium spice level which was a little too spicy for my liking and I'd go with the mild next time. Also could have done without half the plate of cabbage, so the portion for this was on the small side Pad kee mow with chicken - delicious and flavorful. Loved the noodles. Ordered this mild but surprisingly unlike the papaya salad, I could go up in spice level for this one! Bean sprouts were on the side left mostly uneaten, we could have done without them or cooked into the dish Massuman curry - one of my favorite curries! Love the peanuts, potato, and whole flavor profile of massuman curry, and Ros Niyom did it well. Again could have gone up in spice level to Medium Mango sticky rice - I wanted to love this because I love mango sticky rice but it lacked sweetness & creaminess. Perhaps because mangos are out of season. Can't say I won't order it again because I love mango sticky rice but it just wasn't my favorite Black sweet sticky rice with caramelized shredded coconut - this was the dessert winner! Delicious and loved the coconut on top. It had the right amount of sweetness and was also creamier Ambiance is nice and service was really great. My water was constantly checked and refilled. A solid option for Thai food, I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu options!

Yelp
This is it if you're looking for an authentic and delicious Thai restaurant. I've been to Thailand numerous times so I'm very picky when it comes to Thai food and not many Thai restaurants in Austin would make it close to what real Thai food is until I found Ros Niyom. Our favorites: Tom Kha: coconut soup made with kaffir lime leaves, lime juice, lemongrass, galangal, and spices. Warm and comforting. Mild spicy level adds nice heat to it. Pad Thai: very good traditional Thai noodles dish. Squeeze some lime juice and mix up the noodles with bean sprouts and chopped peanuts. Sweet, savory, and tangy in one bite. Som Tum: papaya salad, just like how it is in Thailand. $8.50 is a bit pricey for plain som tum since it's a very small portion of papaya salad with a huge part of raw cabbage. Fried trout with fish sauce, mango and red onion: very yummy. It's big enough to share between 2-3 people. Be aware of the chopped chili in the fish sauce. Thai chili is no joke and we tend to think it's green onion under dark lighting. Service: Super excellent! Our water is always filled up as soon as it gets to half way. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Peter. Peter is very welcoming and makes you feel like home. He works with passion and truly wants to share the beauty, the culture and his delicious cuisine with the world. Peter remembers us and what we told him a couple of months ago. This is where the difference is made when it comes to customer service. Interior: It's a small restaurant, very nice and cozy. Pricing: Reasonable. The portion of each main entree is not too big, not too small. It's a good amount to leave you satisfied. Ros Niyom and Peter: Thank you for bringing the real authentic Thai food to serve Round Rock and Austin. Thank you for your care and your amazing service.

Yelp
Abstract: Best Thai food we've had in Texas so far This place has the king on the wall so you know it's legit. This is how I've always gauged Thai restaurants and it hasn't filed me yet. No king on the wall? Be ready for disappointment. The restaurant is pretty small, maybe 15 tables. More casual like fast food. There's no table cloths or fabric napkins. They use stainless steel cups for water instead of goblets. What I appreciated was the kids cups with lids and kid proof utensils/ dishes. Our waitress didn't smile or make conversation but she was super helpful and considerate. Servers checked on us throughout the meal but weren't overbearing. Food: Plain Som Tum: so good, loved the sauce, I wished there were more tomatoes though Chicken Pad Thai: super flavorful and the kids loved it Seafood Pad See Ew: I love the fact that they use chines broccoli instead of going with the cheaper American stuff. I think it could use some more sauce and egg in the dish but still good. Eggplant stir fry: not enough basil! Everything else was good but it really needed more basil in the dish. Roasted Duck Curry: it was good but I think it needed more richness from the coconut milk. It tasted a little diluted. Yellow curry: tasted more Indian to me. I think a little heavy on the cumin. White rice: I know it's not its own dish but I feel the rice could really make or break the curry. The rice tasted really plain like American rice and not aromatic like typical Thai Jasmine rice. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and we left with full happy bellies. This is our new favorite Thai place in the Austin area.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere. Ordered the sparkling sake, crab fritters and salad rolls. Perfect light meal after playing pool. The ingredients are fresh and great. Salad rolls are delicious and fresh. Crab fritters came out hor. The batter perfectly textured. Forgot to mention the sake, never has it that way so refreshing!

Yelp
What a wonderful surprise. I have worked close by the restaurant and finally had a chance to go in- what a delight! The service was excellent- the soups were AMAZING! -Especially the Thom Kha! The spice level was exactly as ordered- I can't have it too spicy but do like it hot. We will be back!

Yelp
Good food. My noodle soup portions was on the small side. Husband's pad see ew was average size. Pad see ew flavor was a little heavy with the oyster/fish sauce. Friendly service though.
