Opened in 2017, Rosa Malacca is a 60-room property which offers an industrial chic vibe theme with a stylish interior. It is reminiscent of a Brooklyn loft, built using clay bricks and recycled wood and showcasing exposed beams and ductwork. ||The rooms start from the second to the sixth floor. I had booked the Premier King Room and was accommodated in Room No 201. It is spacious at 40 square metres and offers a view overlooking the main road. Compared to the lower category Deluxe King Room, the Premier King Room has a larger room size, offering a two-seater sofa and a larger bathroom with two wash basins. If you prefer more space, I recommend booking this room category.||Although the 50' LED TV is not a SMART unit, it offers Cable TV channels such as Astro Premier League, AXN, Cinemax, Celestial, Movies and Nat Geo Wild. There is no USB charging port inside the room.||The shower pressure works fine. I am|pleased with its hot shower which stays constantly hot for a long period of time. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning seems weak, which I had to use the fan to circulate the air inside the room.||The hotel’s food and beverage outlet, Bica & Co Café is located on the first floor of the hotel. In addition, there is a RS General Store, which sells its own house brand merchandises. Although there is no swimming pool, there is a gym on the seventh floor for fitness buffs. Head to the rooftop and you can catch a breathtaking view of Melaka city.||This hotel is near to the following places of interest:||* Malaysia Prison Museum - 600m|* A Famosa - 1km|* Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Mega Mall - 1.1km|* Mahkota Parade (Shopping Mall) - 1.2km|* Masji Selat Melaka - 2.4km||Whilst the hotel location may not be very ideal, which is a little far from Jonker Street, you can find amenities within walking distance from the hotel. There is a convenience store in the petrol station opposite the hotel. There is also a handful of eateries such as local coffeeshops and restaurants like McQuek’s Satay Celup and Restoran Baba Ang.||To sum it up, Rosa Malacca is a charming gem. I love its architecture, the vibes it exudes and the inspiration every corner brings.
