Rosa Mexicano

We went to this popular Mexican restaurant for lunch while exploring National Harbor. We liked its spacious layout and modern, stylish dining area, which featured Mexican art pieces in its decor. We enjoyed the guacamole prepared in front of us, and it was fresh and tasty. However, my burger was bland, the patty was dry, and the beef steak was tough. The service was great, and we enjoyed our dining experience at this place.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The best part of this place is the hostess whom was super sweet. Now let’s get into it…guacamole by the table was AWFUL! No flavor! Ma’am, where is the garlic salt, fresh lime juice?! This was a huge disappointment! It wasn’t nearly as delicious as I had remembered. Drinks were disappointing! Chips and salsa were good. I had a chopped salad and again, NO FLAVOR. What type of dressing is on this salad and doesn’t have flavor?! I had to ask for salt and pepper because it wasn’t on the table and that didn’t help the salad either. Steak tacos were better and the steak was seasoned although overcooked. Don’t bother coming here. They need to tighten up on housekeeping as well.

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by its great location and excellent food, along with a wide variety of drink choices. However, there were some notable service issues. Despite visiting on a Sunday, the service was slow. We had to ask for a second bottle of water, and the restroom was out of toilet paper. In summary, while the food was very tasty, the service quality did not meet expectations.

We enjoyed our first meal so much that we returned a few nights later while in town for a convention. The second visit wasn't as stellar. However, the table side guacamole (complete with crab) was delicious, as were the shrimp tacos. The margaritas, which are supposed to be their signature, seemed pretty watery.

We went there with a group of people. The reservation was done over the phone. The initial impression as we walked in, it was nice atmosphere and a decent customer service. The food selection was not as much to begin with! When we ordered our food, we had one meal was not fully cooked, and another person found a metal piece in their food. All our groups walked out of the restaurant dissatisfied with our food. The good part, the restaurant had a good view of the harbor and decent customer service.

Loved it! It was a Saturday so it was certainly busy, but our waitress was friendly and vocal. The female floor manager was also great. She was very engaged, kind, and energetic.

This is my third time here & it’s always a good time! The vibe and atmosphere is very welcoming. Every server we’ve had has been amazing. Adriana V and Kimberly G were our servers and just wonderful. The food was amazing as usually. I had the birria quesotacos and their mac & queso this day. I’ve also had the Roasted Chicken Enchilada and of course their guacamole (spicy). You won’t regret coming here :)

We were in town for a Cheer competition which happens twice a year for us at least. We wanted to check out a different spot and someone was in the mood for Mexican. We had a seat at the bar. Service was amazing. We jumped into the Guacamole way too fast to snap a photo. Drinks were fantastic. Everyone had a great time. We will be back.
