This restaurant has a large space that can accommodate a party of 50 or more. The food tastes different from authentic Mexican food or the Tex-Mex foods you get closer to the boarder between Texas and Mexico or California and Mexico and seems to be more tailored to those who dine in at high end restaurants. I can give a five star to the space, presentation and variety of food. One of the ideal places for corporate clients who don't mind loud noises. The place was very loud but nobody in our group cared. We had to go up a few steps to enter the restaurant but that was not an issue for our group.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here. The atmosphere, service and flavors were great. They make guacamole right there and serve it, which was great. Other than that, the food was great, but I don't think it's worth the price, there are better Mexican restaurants. 7.5/10.

Google
Delicious Mexican food. We also enjoyed their pomegranate margarita, both frozen and regular. Just one hitch when we dined in. We made a reservation for 3 pax. When we arrived, the greeter made us sit in another table, not aware that our companion was already seated as he arrived ahead of us. We did see each other after 30 minutes of waiting. Nonetheless we all enjoyed the food and margaritas.

Google
Food was very good. Surprised that table quac cost more than my meal. Was disappointed with my first margarita, but bartender made it up on the second one. Service was very attentive and friendly. Loved the atmosphere.

Food and drinks were just ok, everything else was good - service, ambiance, asides from the music being a little too loud. We got the frozen margarita pitcher and it was not good - definitely don't listen to the "best margarita in the city" claims on the menu. Tacos and ceviche tasted ok but very mediocre, which was unexpected based on the reviews. The place itself has great seating capacity, I was surprised how big it actually is once you're inside and the concept is fun and colorful.

A year ago I came here on a first date. Today we returned, engaged, for our first anniversary because of how good a time we had. Natalia was so kind and helpful, and everything we had was delicious. The salsa has a good, deep kick to it, and the chips really shine with the tableside molcajete guacamole. We've had the richly flavored duck tacos two years in a row, but don't sleep on the birria tacos. Try dipping one duck taco in the birria consomme - it's a great extra flavor combination. If you like street corn, make room for corn on the side - the flavors knit together in a surprisingly smooth way. My fiancee appreciated how convenient it was. For dessert, we really only had room for the flan, but it had such complex flavors from the caramel sauce and such a firm-yet-yielding texture that we gasped in shocked delight. Instant classic! We don't drink alcohol, but the pomegranate hibiscus tea is very good, and the guava colada is rich without being too much. Do consider that you'll have less room for sides and desserts if you get the guava colada, though; I don't think we could have handled the beautiful tres leches cake that a neighboring table got. Prices are in keeping with the neighborhood, and it's worth it for the inventive dishes, good quality, and an atmosphere that just really works. The high ceilings and well-balanced interior design keep you from feeling crowded, and it's not too noisy, but it feels like everyone is part of the party. The music isn't too loud or overpowering, but fits the atmosphere that they're trying to go for. For my fiancee, her first exposure to Mexican food here a year ago was a delight. A year later, we both found new ways to be delighted. Though our travels will take us far away we want to come back again to celebrate this special place that helped launch our journey together. Thank you Natalia P. and all the staff at Rosa Mexicano for joyful memories!

Google
Rosa Mexicano delivers fun Tex Mex in the heart of Manhattan but with a flare that beats San Antonio! (and I'm a frequent lover of the Texas places). The fajitas, ceviche, empanadas, and drinks were all perfect. We loved the salsa sampler and found almost everything was shareable. Enjoy the spacious dining room and quality cuisine.

This place serves high end Mexican cuisine and is a signature Manhattan establishment. The restaurant interior is something to behold with its bold colours, high ceiling and ambient lighting. By dinner time, the place came to life with a big banquet atmosphere. For guacamole lovers, there is a large stone mortar on every table designed to serve as much guacamole as you cared to order. After all, the corn chips and fresh salsa were complimentary and offered right at the start so you can start munching away while the mains are being prepared. You can replenish the corn chips throughout the meal. We chose to pair our chips and salsa with a selection of three different flavoured guacamole. It was fun to jump between each flavour and the smaller serving sizes were much better suited for us. We enjoyed these along with our cocktails: the Smoky Negroni (a classic with a smoky twist) and Michelada (a surprising but delightful concoction of salty and spicy). The Parrilladas (for two) we ordered was the centrepiece of our meal and there was plenty of food. The barbecued meat and vegetables arrived in an impressive cast iron skillet. Generous servings of corn tortillas, rice and beans made sure no one left hungry. The food was incredibly fresh and flavourful: the guacamole was chunky, and was a highly addictive pairing with the crispy chips. The meats were smoky, juicy and tender, but were incredibly easy to eat because the fragrant herbs and tangy onions provided good balance to the fattiness of the sausage and steaks. The kick of the jalapeño was kept in check by the cheese oozing out of each pepper. To top it all off, we were impressed by the hospitality of their staff. We felt really looked after as they made helpful menu suggestions. We were also greeted by the restaurant manager both as we entered and left for the night. We were lucky as a couple to obtain a table with little wait time. However, it’s definitely a good idea for larger groups to book in advance to avoid missing out.

Yelp
This has always been that flashy joint by Lincoln Center that I've been meaning to check out and never did -- WELL I finally did and it's actually pretty fun. Sure, it's fairly touristy and has some bizarre interior design but the food is good and that's all that matters. We had a lovely waiter who seemed busy but managed to still be fairly attentive (though by the end we paid via this QR code on the table which I dunno if that's what you're meant to do or what. It charges an extra fee to do it which is a bummer though) and certainly was friendly. We ended up getting guacamole to share, which they make at table side (not too exciting? Though the guy scooping out the whole avocado in one scoop was impressive) and tasted delicious for sure. The entrees were also solid, I got chicken tacos that I enjoyed while my friends also had no complaints. Can't say it's my favorite ambiance but the food was good (a touch expensive but also like what do you expect for Lincoln Square?) and the pomegranate margarita is as good as they say so I'd totally go back.

Yelp
The restaurant looked a little worn and could use a refresher. The service was OK. They seemed to be swamped. It was the dinner hour (6pm) and the staff seemed overwhelmed. The food was just OK. I had the Caesar salad and the salmon (what else would you get at a Mexican restaurant?) and neither was exceptional. The salmon was cooked as I like it, but it was sitting on a bed of something that looked like pea soup that was really spicy! The others in my party seemed just as underwhelmed by their food. Finally, I used the Sunday checkout QR code and was surprised to find a $5.99 fee tacked onto the bill for using this. Not sure if it was stated on the plexiglass cube the held the QR code, but I think this should be clearly communicated. Beware.

Yelp
Rosa Mexicano is a Mexican spot with fun, casual vibes and a few locations throughout the city. We had to start with frozen margs-like & pomegranate. They were good, but nothing to write honestly about. I am obsessed with their Nachos, which are not your typical nacho: each giant chip (more like half of a fried tortilla) is stacked high with cheese, beans, guac, jalapeños, pico, & crema, so each bite is full of flavor. I highly suggest adding the queso like we did. The Mac & Queso also impressed me, and loved the Street Corn and Plantains as well. Surprisingly the only thing I didn't like were the Roasted Mushroom Tacos, which lacked flavor and the slaw on them was a bit brown/old. Service was so-so, our food came out fast but our waiter was disappeared often. Overall though, I was not expecting to love my meal as much as I did - I think next time I'll forgo the tacos and just stick to apps and sides!

Yelp
I've recently discovered my new favorite happy hour spot: Rosa Mexicano! Their Fiesta Hour runs Monday through Friday from 4-7 PM, featuring mini margaritas, delicious bites, and small plates. On Thirsty Thursdays, the fun extends from 3-9 PM, offering even more time to enjoy their offerings. The Shrimp Diablo is a spicy delight, and the nachos are loaded with flavor--perfect for sharing or savoring solo. With such fantastic deals and delectable dishes, Rosa Mexicano has quickly become my go-to spot for unwinding after a long day.

Betsy S.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and had a drink as well as street corn! Delicious. Loved my margarita on the rocks with salt! They gave chips and salsa as well. The bartender was very nice! I was happy to meet a long time friend here! It has a nice atmosphere!

Jessica G.

Yelp
The food is good, portions are small. The cocktails are good too, the service is slow.

Kassidy K.

Yelp
They had some good options for vegetarians and they weren't too busy. The service was fairly quick as well. This spot seems a bit too fancy and over-priced for the food. It was alright but it wasn't the best. I feel it could be cheaper- or the food could be better and match the price. But ! It's alright overall. The margarita was strong - on the bright side.

Emina S.

Yelp
We ended up here for a late bite and am sooo happy that we did. The interior is well decorated and HUGE -- perfect for large parties. Lots of bright colors and a fun vibe. Our waitress was so kind, and she informed us of the $5 Margarita deal on Mondays. I had my heart set on one of their signature margs though, to the dismay of my wallet. Ordered a Mango Chili margarita + sis had the Blood Orange version. mine was the best MCM I've EVER HAD. My lawd, it was utter heaven in a glass. The spice, the sweetness, the tajin rim.. give me 14 of em (and let the ambulance carry me away). Also ordered a caesar salad and queso fundido, both of which were standard but satisfied the craving!

Ruby N.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and it blew me away. The decor and ambiance of this restaurant is so welcoming and romantic. I had a blast here with my friends. I arrived early and they let me sit by the bar and they also give complimentary salsa and chips. My friend ordered the birria tacos and they looked amazing. I ordered the carnita tacos and they were a little dry. The shrimp tacos were juicy and amazing. Service is amazing and the guacamole was delicious. They even mashed the avocados in front of you!

Ken ..

Yelp
Food was okay. For as big of a place, I wanted more for the $$ spent. Decent happy hour prices for margs on mondays which make it a nice after work spot.

Yelp
Amazing customer service Food was fresh and really tasty Nice decoration Friendly stuff

Yelp
This is a fairly large restaurant located a few blocks from Union Square. It has high ceilings and string lights throughout. We came around 5:45 and it was nearly empty, but filled up quite quickly by 6. To drink, I had the buena vibra. It tasted a bit watered down and wasn't quite as flavorful and fruity as I was expecting. My partner got the cocojito and it was also watery. To start, we shared the black bean and cheese empanadas. An order included 4 pieces. The empanadas were drizzled with chipotle sauce and topped with cotija cheese. They were tasty, but I would've preferred them to be a bit crispier. For my main, I got the roasted mushroom tacos. I enjoyed these. In addition to mushrooms, they were packed with avocado, brussel sprouts, and cabbage with a mild mole for flavor. Make sure to ask for their house made hot sauce. The spiciness creeps up on you, but it definitely has a strong kick. My partner got the duck carnitas enchilada and it came with a separate side of seasoned rice. He enjoyed it. They also provide a generous portion of complimentary chips and salsa for the table. If you order guacamole, they prepare it fresh in front of you with table side service. In general, I felt this place was slightly overpriced but it's still a good option in the area. Would be especially great for groups.

Marisol R.

Yelp
The restaurant was really nice and the ambiance was great. Our server was great but there was a couple times he forgot about our table so I had to get up and tell the manger which I didn't want to but we were waiting for another 10 minutes for us to be attended other then that the food was good. No complaints.

Cindy W.

Yelp
The restaurant was extremely crowded on a Friday evening, and our waiter hardly came over to check on us. We ordered two different margarita cocktails, but they were quite disappointing. I don't really understand what all the hype is about. The last time I visited this place was about 10 years ago, and I don't think I will be coming back again. We visited the restaurant to try out the Restaurant Week menu. To be honest, it was better than our expectations and much better than the margaritas. The portions were very generous, the chicken tortilla soup was delicious, and the churro was probably one of the best I've ever had.

Cindy J.

Yelp
It is a pretty busy restaurant because the waiter didn't visit us as often. The portion size could be a little bigger. The tacos came in three and didn't have sauce with it. The enchiladas were good. It can with rice. The green sauce was spicy. I would've liked beans to be served with it. My frozen margarita was not strong. It tasted like frozen juice. The non frozen drink was stronger.

Yelp
1/1 Ambience; 1.5/2 Food + Beverages; 1/1 Service; 0.5/1 Value Even during a light night weekday dinner service, Rosa Mexicano had a vibrant, charming and fun atmosphere with many groups and casual diners. The restaurant itself is very spacious and set up such that they can accommodate larger groups rather readily. The service was impeccable with each and every member of the staff being delightful, friendly, attentive, and helpful. My friend and I shared the ahi tuna tacos, birria quesatacos, and enchilada trio, and the salsa and tortilla chips are on the house. Neither of us liked the ahi tuna tacos much because we could barely taste the tuna flavor over the amount of seasoning. We both enjoyed the birria and consommé which were both rich, flavorful, and nicely seasoned. The enchiladas served with a trio of sauces and rice were also good, with the chicken and salsa verde being my favorite. The mole was rich and delicious, but the mushrooms left more to be desired. While admittedly not the #1 available Mexican food in a city as diverse as NYC, it was a great experience for an impromptu dinner. All the dishes tasted fresh, although some of the prices felt steep for the portion sizes. They are one of the restaurants on the Seated app, so that certainly helps compensate with the cash back however.

Jacklyn K.

Yelp
This spot is HUGE inside, super dimly lit upscale kind of vibe. Dimly lit to the point of may people using their phone flashlights to read the menu (which gave us a chuckle). Food was extremely overrated in my opinion. High prices but missing the quality, uniqueness and variety of menu. The guacamole table side took a very long time to arrive and then came within minutes of our entrees. My enchilada dish was a very tiny portion and the green enchilada sauce was completely acidic without any depth or heat. My husband enjoyed his tacos though they were also very basic and overpriced. There's definitely both more authentic and less pretentious Mexican food in NYC so I'd 100% skip this spot

Vignesh S.

Yelp
Rosa Mexicano was a fun dinner experience with friends. Although it felt a bit overpriced, I had to remind myself it was NYC prices. The food was solid, with the enchiladas and chile rellanos being super delicious. The Rosa's nachos were great too, but just know the portion size for a large party isn't great. We ordered one for six people and we felt like we should've ordered two portions. The staff and service was great! Overall, it was a good time.

Sharmila S.

Yelp
Rosa Mexicano was the place I loved to have Mexican food when I first came to NY. It's still a beautiful spot with the wall of blue divers. The service was impeccable. But the food was sadly a pasilla Chile short of amazing. That said , the chips and salsa they brought to the table before the meal were amazing. The chips were warm, as if they'd just been baked. For mains we both went for the pronto which is a great deal. But the appetizers were nothing to write home about (I cannot recommend the bean empanadas). The mains were decent (I had the mushroom enchiladas). Every veg main featured the same mushroom medley. One can just see them sitting in the kitchen in a giant pre grilled pile. Sigh. On the bright side, a woman who looked remarkably like Rita Wilson was at a table near us.

Lina F.

Yelp
This place is very yummy and good for groups. Their margaritas are headache proned so sip lightly. The drinks are a bit too sweet in my opinion! I love their enchiladas and the green sauce is killer! Their guacamole is delicious but you can't really mess that up! Haha

Victoria L.

Yelp
Went for weekday brunch with a friend for his birthday. Had a lovely time and enjoyed the bottomless Mezcal blueberry cocktail option. As always the table side guacamole is a star. I also noticed they're on InKind! Woop Woop! Enjoy!

Jenna M.

Yelp
My friend and I wanted to have dinner. We didn't know where to go but we found this spot and made reservations. I'm from San Jose, Ca, where Mexican food is superb! My friend gave me the heads up that Mexican food in NY is mediocre. Upon entering, we were surprised that it was lively and packed. The service was great but the food wasn't. Chips and salsa: I love complimentary chips and salsa but the salsa could use more flavor. Guacamole: Disappointing, it lacked flavor and didn't taste like anything. I had to ask for salt and lime to give it some flavor Duck Enchiladas: I enjoyed this plate and the mole sauce was great. Rice: Rice was dry and I believe it either was old rice or they just didn't make it right. Note to self don't eat Mexican food in New York cause it won't match up to my expectations.

Nyceatssss ..

Yelp
What happened to this place?! The waiters have crazy attitudes and try to rush you like crazy ! The shrimp tempura tacos are gross over priced and need some kind of sauce on them they're dry and look like Frozen shrimp that Japanese buffet restaurants use! The enchiladas don't come with anything just two small rolls! The espresso martini was disgusting i don't think they know how to make drinks because it wasn't an espresso martini they just poured khalua into a martini glass! Sad to say but this place used to be better and now they're more concerned about catering to corporate parties than regular customers !! PS if you read all the negative reviews, they all pretty much say the same exact things I don't understand why the managers can't change these issues instead of just saying thank you for your feedback

Juan T.

Yelp
Service was excellent, and the Guac was off the chainz Ordered a Mexican mule and came out perfect, the second i had to send back. Also got charged for an extra beer. I cant recall my waitress but she was on top of her game while the place was packed. Will definitely come back and hope to get her again. Ps: Charro beer is blah.. great label tho

Mayra O.

Yelp
The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the food being served. Food was delicious. Guacamole was excellent. It's a big pricey but we got seated right away and had a good time.

Erik S.

Yelp
Great prefix New Years 4 course menu. The service was a little disrupted but to be expected on a holiday. Food is excellent

Romi K.

Yelp
The food is really good but it's overpriced. Still a fun place to come and meet up with friends though! Love the frozen margs!

George H.

Yelp
Best food ever in Bergen county I had the cazuela short ribs were delicious!! The individual side dishes outstanding The strawberry margarita were outrageous the sangria put it this way I was drunk period My wife had a salad w grilled chicken (marinated in the red chile sauce ... it was moist season perfectly Don't need to say more I would go back even though I'm a hour away ! Worth the trip

Denisa W.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday. We were a group of 10. When the server came over to take our orders, he didn't write anything down and proceeded to give the wrong orders to the wrong people. Drink orders were mixed up, and it took 10 extra minutes for my friend's Diet Coke to come out, after the margarita orders had arrived. My order was completely forgotten. I was presented with fish tacos when I ordered the birria quesatacos. I had to waive a server over to ask if my order was coming out soon since most of the group had finished their meals, to which the server asked if I still wanted my meal. There was no apology, he just gave me an excuse as to why it was punched in wrong. Honestly the food is very expensive for the quality, and there is better Mexican food in the area. The service was the main issue, though. Based on this experience at this location, I wouldn't come back.

Kate M.

Yelp
I came here on a weekday afternoon. The service was great, and the food and drinks were all good. This location is very large and nicely decorated.

Juan B.

Yelp
My partner and I came here for date night and it was mixed reviews. First, the place is beautiful - tall ceilings, open floor plan, modern decorations with splashes of color. All of the staff who assisted us were friendly (from the hostess, the wait staff and the manager). Now, the food. The table side guacamole was delicious and fresh. The duck enchiladas were great but the mole it came in was quite possibly one of the top moles I've ever had. It was sweet, earthy, decadent, creamy with flavors of coffee/chocolates. The braised beef enchiladas was also good and tender. The nacho chips were incredibly salty and stale and almost tasted store bought. The salsa that comes with the chips was overly sweet and, again, tasted store bought. While the margaritas were good, the sangria tasted very chemically. Granted, it was a Wednesday and their Wednesday special was $5 sangria, so maybe that's why. I'd definitely come again for the mole alone.

Kavita P.

Yelp
Horrible experience! The waitress and service was really bad. It took awhile for the waitress to come to us, where she didn't come back for awhile. We didn't even have water, which we sat without for 20 mins. The manager noticed and brought it to us. We had to ask her for our drinks after she brought out drinks for a table whose order she got after (which she either forgot or didn't care). We had ordered their guac as an appetizer but we didn't get it until we asked again (by this time, we got gotten our entrees). She never checked in on us. Honesty felt like she was being a bit racist as she checked in on a table by us that was the same background as her. Never going back.

Koreen D.

Yelp
Huge restaurant that's easy to walk into even on a weekend. Pretty bustling with lots of seating options. Wasn't very hungry so mostly did apps. 1. Guac: saw this on all the tables and ordered it. Got the spicy one which was actually spicy. Pretty good taste wise but the texture was too chunky and had to be crushed a bit more 2. Tuna ceviche: alright - nothing to write home about 3. Salmon ceviche: very fishy. Ended up returning this. Skip. 4. Chopped salad with extra shrimp: alright Overall, Rosa is just alright. Nothing was super great. There are lots of other better Mexican joints out there. But the mains might be better?

Mark C.

Yelp
Been going to Rosa Mexicano for 30 years. WORST experience ever. Other than some of the staff being pleasant not one redeeming feature of this dining experience: Waited well over 20 minutes for our reservation. Hostess said "we deliberately overbooked." Another 30 minutes for a waiter to come to take our order. Very much doubt thier classic margarita had any alcohol in it. Enchilada was amazingly dry, had to work to get that level of dryness. My pal had the vegan fajita. Luvly presentation zippo flavor. I understand it's the holidays. Maybe don't over book and hire more help at a living wage. The staff at the original Rosa on 1st Avenue would be astonished how awful this dining experience.

Emily F.

Yelp
Definitely do the guac, they make it table-side and are well-known for it. The service was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful with my guest. The ambiance was beautiful, I felt transported to a different part of the world entirely. Well worth my time and looking forward to returning!

Akela J.

Yelp
Ok so first off this place is very large and spacious so great if you gave a bug group. The food was ok It honestly was decent enough and looked appetizing BUT the prices do not match the quality of the food at all. It is always disappointing to pay an obscene amount for good that was just ok. The fresh guac was probably the best thing and the drinks were very very strong. The service was ok, it was a very busy night so they were very busy.

Brandon N.

Yelp
Honestly, you're paying for the ambience here. Most of the Mexican food and the tacos are overpriced and mid to boot. The enchiladas was mushy and tasted mainly like the sauce it was drenched in, the street taco had nothing remarkable about the individual ingredients, and the birria tacos were actually good, with crisp shell, aromatic angus beef, and the consommé was fine, but still overpriced and tiny. $19 for three tiny tacos had better blow my mind, but it didn't. 6/10 for this place all things considered.

Joannie B.

Yelp
Came here on a movie and dinner date ,my date asked for a booth. The inside is gorgeous. I love the decor. The outside is nice as well. Right down the block from L train on Union Square; it is very convenient. Right off the bat, our waiter, I did not care for him. He had an attitude with us, and I don't know why because we were really polite. He was very condescending and rude. I was going to get the manager to change him but I decided to be nice. Anyway, I wasn't going to let him ruin my night. so we ordered the lump crab guacamole, which is freshly made table side. The man making it was really nice. The waiter had to bring the crab meat and mixed together, it was good; we also had chips which were mostly broken. It would be nice to make sure the chips are whole. I ordered the ceviche tasting, which includes salmon, tuna, and shrimp; it did not disappoint. They were all good and with a little jalapeño sprinkled on; so tasty. My date had the salmon dinner, and the portion was a fairly good size with a green sauce base. The salmon itself was good and meaty. The guava margarita I didn't really care for, but it wasn't bad. And my date had this ginger drink that tasted really good. The menu is pretty simple. Hassel free. If you are ever in the Union Square area and want to grab lunch or dinner, I would def say go there. It is a huge space with a full bar. You can even sit outside in the warmer months. Nice IG worthy pics as well. .

Sandy D.

Yelp
Being near my workout class, Rosa Mexicano worked as a convenient lunch option for hangry me. The restaurant was spacious with high ceilings, the biggest I have probably seen. I originally reserved tables, but there was no need on a weekend afternoon. Either the server was busy or Rosa places great emphasis on extending our stay, as the two of us and nearby parties munched on our complimentary salsa and chips for a while before our server even took or served our orders. Unfortunately, I picked a wrong day to come because birria was not available that day. I took this chance to try the Enchiladas Trio ($32) instead. Sadly, it tasted exactly like what I dreaded: saucy, and not to mention, overly salty. I told the waiter this and he said it was the first time someone told him this. Everyone must be defaulting their answer to "good" whenever he asks then! I had the Mushroom, Duck, and Chicken, and if I had to pick one, go with the Duck! Luckily, the creamy Mexican rice side helped in drowning out the saltiness. The Camarones al Mojo de Ajo ($28) sounded intriguing on paper, but it was also overly salty, I kid you not. The chorizos were an obvious culprit. We both had to agree the flavorful shrimp was fire though thankfully, granted they are the star of the dish. Frozen margaritas in Mexican restaurants can do no wrong, and the ones here were bomb. I got the Frozen Guava Margarita ($14) and it was pretty fuerte! I usually don't get tipsy easily, but these drinks always hit different. The tangy fruity flavor was also accurate, although I wish they weren't served with paper straws. An ice chunk kept getting stuck in the straw. If it wasn't for the drinks and the gorgeous interior with vibey music that got people up and dancing, I would not have had as good a time.

Chandni D.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Monday night with a reservation. Didn't really need one, the place was pretty empty. Food was good not great. Got the queso and chips to start and the queso had a good flavor but was really chunky which was a bit off putting. I got the cheese enchiladas with verde sauce and it was pretty good. However, given the price, I thought the portion was a little small. Overall, this place is ok, enough to satisfy your craving for Mexican food but it does come with a pretty high price tag.

Yelp
03/28/23: Took a friend out for quick drinks and a bite. Rosa for the win, now she wants to have her birthday celebration here. As always my go to is the frozen pomegranate margarita always delicious . Her first time she had it on the rocks now we have another fan. So good she had another. As usual very busy even on a Tuesday you would thinks it's a Friday night. Our server Modesta amazing and extremely accommodating. Our drinks arrived in a regular glass, I was taken aback I'm like what happened to the festive martini glass I'm used to. Ask you shall receive she returned with the glass and even one for my friend. We basically shared a side order of Mexican fried rice and added shrimp. Can you say yuuum. Full of flavors and spice. I asked her how the rice so flavorful and spicy and she wrote down a few ingredients. Now that's all around service. The complimentary salsa and chips very yummy. All in all another great visit . Definitely my go to spot for margaritas. Guess what peeps.. yup a favorite Seated spot of mine. Come join the seated family and get some dollars back for eating out. My code Michelle1454. Yelp
Mexicana reviewing Mexican food- this place is OK. That's it. Overpriced, not authentically good.

Yelp
Great Mexican place with wonderful food and drinks. Went there for a girl evening. The drinks were outstanding and so is the food with plenty of options. The ambience was cozy and perfect for a Friday evening and so is the service. Didn't take long for the food to get to the table. Overall an amazing experience.

Yelp
Yelp knows I'm usually about the food and have a high tolerance for a range of service, without getting too upset about anything... until it's really bad. Our experience today was an embarrassment of bad service We arrived at 1130 for a weekday lunch. We were the first and only table in the restaurant.  There were 6 servers on staff.   We ordered within 10 mins - the food did not come until 12:20.  This despite us being the only table when we ordered, and there were only two other tables of 2 people that came in after noon. The food came out cold, and they messed up my request to not put onions and pico on top of the enchiladas along with some of the other requests my colleagues made for their dishes. The gentleman who brought out the food from the kitchen and our server got into an awkward exchange about whose responsibility it was to actually put the plates in front of the diners.  That was ... weird. Food was ok. Some of the brisket in the enchilada was tender and some was tough. Chicken was so-so in quality, but overall $32 for the enchilada sampler felt like a bit of a rip off.

Yelp
This review is for both eat-in and Take-out. I've been going to Rosa for over 10 years. The food is always yummy, the service is great, the quality is excellent and the flavors are authentic. I've tried almost everything and it's all good. I love the Guacamole and salsa's, the tortillas are delicious, Chicken Enchilada's are incredibly yummy, the mole is great! I love the flautas, the churros. Everything is good. It's a great place for a casual celebration, cocktails and guacamole or a big gathering. I've also had delivery from Rosa and it's always good. Same quality as eating in.

Yelp
Perfect guac (on the blander side), but not worth $18. Ok pork carnitas tacos, nothing super special besides the corn tortilla. There was barely anything besides the pork, which meant a very monotone and boring bite. Birria tacos were a scam, barely filled with any meat. Enchiladas probably would've been the way to go--they had a fire mole sauce.

Yelp
It is hard to imagine tasteless, bland Mexican food, but they managed to pull it off. The place seems popular-- I have no idea why. I should have known when they brought out chips and a salsa that had no flavor. The mezcal drink I ordered was watery and the chicken flautas appetizer was tasteless and the brown nubbin of chicken was a little gross. We cut our losses and fled before ordering a main course.

Yelp
Good for what it is: a solid Mexican spot that is easy to get a table and is centrally located. The restaurant vibes are pretty solid, as it is huge and had a great number of patrons on a Friday evening. The guacamole starter is quite delicious, and can never go wrong with unlimited chips and salsa (note: guac is a bit spicy even though we got medium). I got the Queso Fundido which was solid: nothing too special, but the cheese dip was pretty tasty and I may try tacos instead if I go again, but can't go wrong here. Solid backup option, but nothing I'll be crazy excited to go back again.
