Friendly and fast service for to go. Their pizza is my favorite in Forest hills and I’m also super picky when it comes to garlic knots…these are awesome. I don’t recommend dining in as a personal preference, it’s not a comfortable atmosphere. We usually get a large cheese pie for pick up which is in the $20 range. Unfortunately on the delivery sites you have no option for only cheese or my husband would have spent way more money.

Plain slice 🍕 $2.72 (cash 💸 discount) bottom crust a bit soft, cheesy but good balance of sauce. A bit oily and edge of the crust is a bit thin, overall a pretty good slice. Cheesy but not too much.

This pizza sucks. This hood needs a good pizza place cause this ain’t it!

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but when Raquel left, I stopped because my order usually got messed up. My recent experience was disappointing. I was about to be charged for condiments that have always been free, with no notice. After telling the young lady that I never used to pay for it, she said you could take it now, but next time, you have to pay.There were no signs in sight that customers have to pay for the condiments at a pizzeria. It’s unacceptable to start charging for something that was always included without clearly informing customers. This kind of surprise charge feels sneaky and unprofessional. If policies change, customers deserve to be told upfront—not hit with unexpected fees at the register. This experience has me rethinking whether I’ll be coming back. If you're going to charge for every little thing, you will lose customers and profits.

After ordering from here a multitude of times, all I can say is that they have very fast service and this place never fails to dissapoint me! Solid pizza for solid prices!

Been here 3 time and still havent been disappointed, pizza is made with love. Give me feeling of the first pizza I ate with my dad.

I tried magerita there and it was pretty good. Not too many people choose to dine in and most of them take out. There is only a cashier in front and one cook, it may have another cook at the kitchen in the back. So literally there is no waitress or waiter here if you choose to dine in.

Unfortunately my initial reaction about this place has long since faded. Their pizza is average, at best, and there is nothing special about the restaurant. The neighborhood and its food scene has evolved. Now Rosalia's is just another place to order from if you don't really care about getting a great pie.

They serve perfectly serviceable pizza. The owners are nice. The restaurant is welcoming. The pepperoni is a typical sliced pizza but not too greasy. The spinach/ artichoke pizza sounded like a good idea but it was so watery that it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The taste was fine but the crust was no longer crispy. To be fair it might have been better straight out of the oven.

I've had their pizza many times when they were on TGTG. My favorite is still their buffalo chicken pizza. It has a really nice kick to it and their crust is crispy, yet soft on the inside. Prices are borderline high but then again, so is everything else nowadays.

Sorry, not sorry. The young lady at the counter who is a part time rocket scientist refused to let me pay for a slice via credit card because there's a ten dollar card minimum? When I asked if she could make a exception as I've been coming there for years and years, she said no and suggested that maybe I could buy a drink to bring the total up to $10 mind you the slice was right in front of me and I already poured condiments on it. Still, this absolute genius again refused so I just left the slice there. So not only did this extraordinarily high IQ individual lose a customer and pissed off someone that has been coming there for years, they lost out on money on a measly slice of pizza that they now had to toss in the garbage anyways. To be completely honest, a transaction like that does not only show a lack of competence from the individual I referenced here, it just shows a lack of competency of management of this place. In my experience, the service always goes south and the food follows immediately thereafter. I am not a happy camper. Not a good vibe whatsoever.

I'm on a silent quest for top notch pizza, but it's slim pickings nowadays when it comes to finding even "average" pizza in my opinion. After reading the reviews, I kind of had high hopes in Rosalia's, but I was sadly disappointed when my order arrived. The Grandma slice- ( subpar) extremely thin, and lacking in flavor, cheese and sauce. Served cold, which is a huge turn off! I've had pizza delivered on multiple occasions, so of course I know not to expect it to be piping hot when it arrives. I did however expect a semi hot or at least warm pizza. But this pizza was ice COLD upon arrival..I was able to tell immediately that they grabbed it from under the glass and just shoved it in the box. Awful! Pepperoni slice- (subpar) lacking in all areas and COLD! Meat Lasagna- Somewhat tasty! Had the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and ricotta. But there was NO meat! Didn't taste or see any ground beef in it at all.. Presentation was appealing though. I was definitely enticed at the sight of it before digging in. I most likely won't be ordering from here again.

Decent pizza in forest hills. I liked the classic margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza. The other flavors are good too but I prefer simple. The dough was crispy and thin.

They gave me 2 meatballs cut in half for a meatball parm sandwich. That's one meatball for each 6 inches of my sandwich. Tipped 20% before checking my food.....Do better.

Ordering issues. Used their own app to pickup as the Slice App didn't work well before. My order was cancelled and refunded. (Printer / iPad issue?) they should have blocked the ordering site but they didn't. I don't know why they couldn't just copy the order from email or web. It is sad, but I will not be ordering from them anymore. The food was good and people there seemed nice.

Not sure if it was a good idea to get delivery from this pizza store at about 830 pm. I ordered a large pepperoni pie to be delivered within 4 blocks. When it arrived the pizza is cold, the cheese was solidified, and there was no crunch to the bottom of the pizza. Its as if the pie has been taken out of the oven quickly to not get that toasted bottom and sat at the counter for hours til it's cold. The first slice I ate was extremely doughy - so much breading. The next day I decided to beat the slice up and the texture was still too doughy. I'm not sure if I will order from them again. But in the dude note I like how they made the crust sound the pizza thin.

Small place with seating in the back...came here for a birthday dinner celebration for a friend. Overall service was good. Another time did delivery for a party. Make sure to order early as it does take about an hour for delivery. We had a pepperoni and margherita pizza, pepperoni & mushroom, sausage & peppers, buffalo wings, calamari, sauteed spinach, spaghetti with meatbalss, chicken parm hero, chicken parm, grilled chicken w/ penne ala vodka, chicken francese, chicken marsala, grilled chicken with veggies, garlic knots (with yelp check-in) and nutella pizza for dessert.

The pizza here is fresh and can be ordered for take out or eaten there. There is a small space in the back suitable for max 2-4 person per table. Although their Menu is predominately pizza, you have the option to also have wings. Service is quick and friendly . Pizza is great quality for the price . It's better to pay with cash, paying with a card will run you more.

Decent pizzeria that has been here for years. It definitely looks the best it's ever looked. The ovens and counter are right when you walk in. You actually see them make the pizzas thru the big glass window as well. Small seating area in the back with booths and tables. I usually get them delivered and its fast and the food comes warm as well. The pizza is good and the menu is your usual Pizzeria menu. Sandwiches, hot and cold, as well as pizza. They also serve beer and wine here too which is nice.

Came here with a group of 10 plus a toddler on a Sat evening. Place was not large but luckily we were able to sit together in the back area. We got different types of pies and my favorite was the Margarita one. Chicken wings were very tasty. Calamari was pretty standard. Got a free order of garlic knots with the yelp check-in. The sauté spinach was another big hit. Spaghetti with meatballs were pretty good too. We ended the meal with the Nutella pie as dessert. Oh mine, the crust was warm and crunchy as it just came out from the oven.

I feel the pizza game is so strong in Forest Hills that even relatively new'ish spots like Rosalia's has done a good job of fitting into the mold. They might not have the notoriety of other more established pizzerias in the hood, but they can make a mean pie. I've had my fair share of quality slices here and I appreciate the fact they're large, crispy, and thin crust. If there is any topping I'd recommend, it'd be their pepperoni since it's the kind that curls up, has a small pool of oil inside, and has just enough kick for an after taste. Their most complete pizza in my opinion has to be the margherita, which was loaded with cheese and indulgent with every bite. I realize not everyone is into the crusts, but I would recommend for those folks to try the sicilian pizzas instead. The crust is hearty and dare I say the sauce is on point. I would say a grandma pie and a doubling up with their calzone or garlic knots (only if freshly baked). While I wish I enjoyed their white pizza and the nutella more, I also know there is an audience that would come here just for those two. There used to be some small issues with delivery and the general friendliness of the staff, but I gather a lot of that has improved over the last year. The last time I came for takeout and couldn't have had a better experience with the guy / owner behind the counter. I still appreciate the non-pizza items on the menu and hope to come back to try more soon.

The manager was so super rude hanged up on me and didn't have the patience to understand my order and take my phone number saying that she so busy she got so much people waiting on her really disappointing

Rosalia's is my go- to for a great fresh slice or whole pizza. We usually get half eggplant and half pepperoni. I also have gotten the eggplant rolatini which is delish and a big portion for an appetizer. My favorite spot in the neighborhood!

Pretty disappointed with the buffalo wings we ordered here, the wings were extremely dry and did not have any buffalo sauce. With prices going up, did not appreciate paying an inflated price for dry buffalo wings with no buffalo sauce

Haven't been here in a while and wanted to try something new. Their Philly cheese steak on a hero with peppers and onions is enormous and costs $8.25. I had a half and some of the garlic knots with marinara (free with check in). The cheese steak is the best I've had outside of Philly, all fresh, quality ingredients. The garlic knots are solid and come with their house marinara. And you can use Apple or Google Pay for cash back. I tip take out orders a couple of dollars, at least. It's appreciated by hard working restaurant staff, bringing us food during a pandemic.

Ive gone here enough times to finally give up. It never gets better. The Sicilian slices are terrible and the cheese slides off. The plain slices fall apart and are droopy. The plain slices are very fatty and the fat makes the slices collapse when you hold it up to eat. The other slices like the Buffalo and Chicken and Ranch are just "okay." Those are the only ones that don't fall apart. The chicken rolls are flavorless and the cheese inside just doesn't taste good. The chicken in the chicken rolls taste like they're breaded with 4C. There is a vegan option on the menu but only if you order a whole slice. The vegan cheese is terrible too. It looks like semi transparent glue.

If it was possible to give zero stars i would. Ordered from here for the first time through grubhub. Ordered around 6:30, estimated delivery time was 7:30-7:40. By 8 it's still not here so i call the restaurant and no one picks up. So i call grubhub and they can't get in touch with them either so they cancel the order and refund my money. At 9:30 my doorbell rings and it's the delivery guy who hands me the world's worst looking, ice cold pizza. Pizza looks like it was a half second away from being burnt. So now I've got this horrible looking, inedible pizza. Oh, and to top it all off? The sprite they gave me expired today. I'm not quite sure how they managed a 4.5 star rating on grubhub with this kind of service. Trust that I'll never order from here again .

Amid the misfortune befalling many restaurants because of covid19, was able to order a pie. Delivery was prompt and the pizza was still warm. It was replete with cheese, perfect to satisfy my overdue ricotta craving.

Whats good the neighborhood. Look i eat pizza everywhere and this is a locals by me and i decided to give them another shot since the last visit(the pizza wasnt that great) I decided to give them another shot its pretty close.I went got a basic cheese slice and a buffalo chicken slice. price is nice total was like 7 bucks. the slices there are pretty greasy and the sauce is not flavorful at all. You can taste more of the cheese and it overpowers the pizza. The buffalo was aii it was a lil better than the cheese slice, Ovarall the place needs to improve their pizza. Hopefully they will prove me wrong next time i visit.

Pizzas are tasty but a whopping 40% higher priced now; 4% cash discount (credit card surcharge) inaccurately noted as 3%; older counterwoman is surly!

What a lovely surprise! There aren't too many pizza options in Forest Hills - the best would be Nick's pizzeria, which offers a more high end brick oven pizza with many fresh quality ingredients. Then there is Lillian's pizzeria on 69th Avenue, which has quite a history dating back to when Ray Ramono was famous for his show, and then Gloria's Pizza right next to Midway theater. So to my surprise, when I was waiting for a bus to go to Queens Center, I discovered Rosalia's. I literally went in just to get my craving of garlic knot, but we decided to order a regular slice too. It was pretty good! Pizza wasn't too thick nor thin, and had a great portion of mozzarella cheese. The best part I felt was that they also had the grandma slice, which isn't always available at pizzerias. Rosalia's also was a fair price, offering many coupon options or special deals. For example, for a set price (I believe it was $35), you can get an order of chicken wings, a liter of soda, and a regular cheese pie. That's not a bad deal. Staff is friendly, space is okay, and prices are decent. I would much rather come here than to go to Gloria's or those nearby pizzerias because at least here, the pizza is the perfect temperature with fairly decent quality. At least it's not soggy nor burnt like some others!

Great pizza! Always arrives fresh and tasty! The slices are a good size and also and reasonably priced. One of our favorite pizzerias in the neighborhood. Recommended!

Also idiot me never tried any of their heros - well let me tell you THAT VEAL MARSALA HERO IS GIVING chef's kiss vibes. Absolutely delicious. And they are nice on the phone - can't beat that now.

Rosalia's is becoming one of my favorite Forest Hills pizza spots. Aside from the staff being super friendly, I think their pizza is great. I've tried a number of their specialty slices, and each is as good as the next. My favorites are the buffalo and barbeque chicken slices, but their vegetarian and white slices are also really good. I've also tried their spinach roll and thought that was pretty good. I think they're a good staple to Queens Boulevard and I look forward to trying more of what they have to offer.

I have no idea what my fellow Yelpers who gave Rosalia's more than a two star rating are thinking. I think those reviewers need to try some of the other pizzerias in the area. For as long as I've lived in the area this spot had always been a pizzeria. Al Dente was the previous one. On a recent walk on Queens Blvd. my wife and I decided to stop in and try a slice. My first impression was the crust. I like a crust that does not wimp out and droop when picked up but that is the only good thing I can say about the pizza served at Rosalia's. Yes as noted by other Yelpers there was plenty of cheese but it had no flavor. So did the sauce and crust. Every component of this pizza was flavorless. My wife never seasons her pizza but this time salt, garlic and oregano did nothing to bring it to life. I too had to season mine, not good! I also was looking for a bottle of seltzer to drink and they do not have any to offer. Needless to say we will not be going back. Once was more than enough. I will continue to go to Lillian's for their regular and tomato and garlic slices. Pizza Classica for their Grandma slices. Louie's Pizza and Pasta for his Grandma and regular slices as well as his homemade pasta. Avelino's Pizza 5 blocks away still serves a really good slice. Even Duo Fratelli has a better slice than Rosalia's. So to you Yelpers who think this is good pizza I think you need to explore the other options in our neighborhood. There is much better to be had! In response to the owners comment below. We looked in your refrigerator where you keep bottles of soda and never asked for or received any seltzer from your employee. The employee behind the counter looked not too happy to be there.

This place just opened up about a month ago. It's in Queens Blvd in front of a bus stop. Perfect location The pizzeria is clean, the staff is friendly , and welcoming. When you first walk in you have the bar stools and long counter on the right hand side and in the back of the restaurant they have some tables and chairs for a dinning experience. I tired a regular slice of pizza and a pasta dish of Penne Vodka. $2.50 per slice and $10 for the Penne Vodka dish and not to mention it came with 3 Garlic knots. The slice was ok, it was seasoned very well, the sauce taste excellent, it could have been a little more cheese and maybe the crust a half inch thicker. Besides that I will definitely return to try their other slice. The Penne was amazing. The Vodka sauce was perfect and it really hard to find good Vodka pink sauce. I didn't order any meat with it. Delivery if Free and they also offer catering

I tried a few slices at this place a while ago just once. It was just okay. Not the worst pizza I've had, but far from the best. Could've used more flavor, better quality cheese. Since it was take out, we didn't have any issues with a long wait time.

in NYC it's harder to find a bad italian restaurant than a good one so when i found this spot I knew i found a hidden gem (sarcasm detected). ordered some pizzas that were extremely mushy, flimsy and OILY, also they smelled like butane or some kind of weird gas smell. Pastas were bland, over cooked and OILY. garlic knots were, OILY. vegetable side was, you guessed it, OIL TOWN. Also, the elderly woman behind the counter was extremely rude and nasty. won't go into detail but my goodness she was nasty. absolutely average food at best with terrible customer service.

Inevitably the first thing you'll notice when visiting a pizzeria is the slices on the counter. The saying, you eat with your eyes, definitely presents itself upon entering any pizzeria. Here my first view led to a thought about how incredibly thin and flat the pizza is. It's not that I don't like flat pizza, of course my stomach can appreciate less carbs but the slices just didn't look or taste appealing. There was no body to the slices and they were really limp on pickup. The regular slices with cheese and the sauce was similarly nondescript. Perhaps slices with toppings might have been better but it shouldn't be required. While these pies clearly don't satisfy my palate, I can see how for another it might be. As a plus for those with celiac disease, there was a sign about gluten free options being available. Other items like mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings were ok. Finally, the counter staff was really friendly and accommodating with my family order.

The flavor of the red hot pizza was stellar. Tart, spicy, meaty with a bit of cheese on a chewy crust. The Quattro formaggio was generous on the ricotta- thank you and quite a bit of Gorgonzola (not my fave)... but clearly cheesy where a cheese lover can't deny. Definitely the red hot pizza if you like spice & tang for something different and delicious.

This place is totally overpriced for what it is. We had a dining advantage deal so we decided to give it a try. The pizza is pretty good but it needed a little help. When I say a little help means there's no way you could eat it out of the box, it was so soggy and needed to be toasted in the oven. The pepperoni wheels were very decently priced as they were quite large but the spinach roll seemed extremely overpriced for how little it was filled. The side of meatballs was just sad, when you get a side of two meatballs you expect them to be pretty big. These were half the size one would expect them to be, and there was nothing special about them. I'm sure I can make a better meatball, and I don't really make meatballs. The raviolis we're meh, and everything came with the same side of sauce. It's a good thing they make a really good marinara sauce because it was on everything. Everything tasted the same. Would I go back? Maybe...but only with a dining advantage deal and only to try the mama pizza or the fungi pizza.

I live life 3 blocks away , went after work to get a spinach and ricotta cheese roll , it was really good . Service was fast and pleasant !

Sat down for dinner at Rosalia's Pizzeria on Wednesday night. Decent pizza, but my opinion is the small and crunchy crust style hurts the overall taste. Quality: Tried three slices Plain, Vegetarian, and Margherita. My issue with all three was the crust. Very small on the edges and all crunch, no softness. The Plain was probably the best of the three, as the sauce and cheese combination was good. The Vegetarian was a little too overloaded making it a hard to keep on the plate. Quantity: The pizza slices were standard in size. Value: $2.50 for a Plain Slice and $0.75 for each topping. Ambiance: Rosalia's Pizzeria is located in the Forest Hills area of Queens. The shop has you order in the front and sit in the back. The dining area is mixed with storage, so most folks grab food for the road. They had a television in the back corner playing a celebrity update show way too loud. Crowd: We shared the dining area with a small family, but several people stopped in for pick-up. Service: A little slow and chaotic when ordering, but I believe they were changing shifts. Parking: Street parking is doable.

I came here a little before they were closing and grabbed some slices and a spinach roll. I enjoyed everything very much. The first slice I had was the with ham and pineapple, and I though that was very good. The second slide I had was a bbq bacon slice that I also enjoyed very much. Both slices were loaded with toppings and had a good amount of cheese. The crust was also really good. I shared the spinach roll with my wife and enjoyed that, too, even though it was something I wouldn't have ordered. However, it was cool to try something different than pizza from this place. I would go back and grab some food again for sure, as everything was good and tasty!

I'm mainly a creeper on Yelp and have never written a Yelp review until now. But WOW. This place blew my mind, so I am popping my Yelp review cherry for this wonderful family business. I was fortunate enough to win the weekly free pizza giveaway on Instagram, so upon our arrival to Queens I visited Rosalia's. The folks at Rosalia's were so friendly from the get-go. I had mentioned in our Instagram exchange that I'm in the process of moving to NYC and was super excited to visit Rosalia's, and when I turned up, Joe (one of the owners) said "Oh you're the person who said they are moving to New York - welcome to New York!". Everyone at the store was so warm and welcoming. My partner and I enjoyed a large half vegetarian, and half eggplant parmigiana pizza. The vegetarian is packed with veges (great for a vege lover like myself), and the eggplant parmigiana was spectacular! The large is 18" so we enjoyed half of it at the restaurant, and was able to enjoy the rest for another meal. We were also fortunate enough to try their dessert pizza, which came as half Nutella and half peanut butter, topped with strawberries and bananas, which rounded off our meal perfectly. Come here for a solid New York style pizza with loaded toppings. Don't expect dainty Neapolitan style pizza; although I love that style of pizza, this is Queens, after all! I learned that Joe is an owner of Luzzo's, which I had dined at in the past and also love for their Neapolitan style pizza! Thank you to Joe and the team for a wonderful afternoon and the super warm welcome to their amazing city. I can't wait to visit again!

Rosalia is a very popular neighborhood pizza joint, and has been for years. They offer both dine in and takeout(pickup) options and have a good variety of options on their menu. The pizza is good and so is the pasta. The kind of place that doesn't disappoint and you always know what you're getting.

They've done it again! Another amazing dinner! We love the tri-dip, fresh salads, pepperoni and salsiccia pizzas. Service is great and the place is buzzing.

It was our first time ordering from this place and will be our last. Not only was the food an extra 30 minutes late, we got it cold and the pizza we ordered was just a plain cheese pizza. We had ordered their Tartufata pie which is supposed to have truffle paste or oil and it had neither. It was just a Margherita pizza. Shocking because apparently this is a good restaurant with 4.8 stars and a medal beside it. Don't think they deserved that metal.

Pizza was delivered practically frozen from Postmates.Never again will I order here plus the pizza had zero taste with the pepperoni pizza

I decided to try this new pizza place. I think they've been open less than a year. Called to pickup two pies, one sausage, one half chicken and I also used their coupon for one free topping which was nice. I got there and they were a little slow to get it out even though I waited before I picked up but overall they were nice about it. The pizza was above average but obviously not amazing. I think their cheese is the main ingredient which is somewhat special as it didn't feel like the average mozzarella. It seemed to melt better and it certainly tasted better. I'd probably come back.

I originally ordered a Sicilian Pie with extra sauce but received it with light sauce. I commented that in review and the next day received a very nice call from the pizzeria apologizing for not seeing the extra sauce request and offered to try again. This shows the determination of the owners to pay attention to client's concerns. They then sent me a Delicious Grandma Pie. It had a very nice crust and good sauce to cheese ratio. I will definitely be calling back to try there food dishes.

Rosalia's Pizzeria is an amazing community pizzeria! Not only was the pizza delicious, but they respect and treat the people of the community as family. I am a nurse and after working a hard shift with Covid-19 patients all day, I didn't have the energy to come home and cook. I went in during closing time and they provided me with a free pizza for me and my family. It was absolutely delicious! Thank you Rosalia's for thinking of us on the frontline

Rosalias is the epitome of "okay". All of their pizza is pretty mediocre, but we keep coming because it's the closest to us so it's very convenient for a quick bite. The people that work there are really nice though. One thing that really bothers me is their inconsistent health rating. In the last 2 years their NYC health rating had varied from A-C. Makes you wonder what's going on in there, how they got an A (what did they hide) since obviously they can't keep their crap together. It's not that hard to maintain an A. Have some pride in your restaurant, get rid of the employees that do not honor and respect your food establishment, and fix the things that keep getting you in trouble.
