Google
💎 Hidden Gem Alert! Tucked away on a side street in Bar Harbor is a little pizza place that ranks in my top five overall pizzas! The service was friendly. the atmosphere was enjoyable with all of the nostalgia decoration, even an old school jukebox. The pizza was near perfect... crust, cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. If you love pizza like I do and you're in Bar Harbor, it is an absolute must try. Even if you're just in Acadia National Park... it's worth a drive over to Bar Harbor to get it!

Google
Good pizza. Hot, fresh doe and good toppings. It's the best place to get pizza in bar harbor and they are open later. Cool place with records on walls, jukebox that works n upstairs to eat also. Must stop while in bar harbor

Google
Unfortunately quite overrated. This is the only ever 2 star food review I've given. Ordered a toasted sub, came out cold. It could've been a great sub but wasn't even good. Lacked flavor. The pizza was edible, but that's about it. Super disappointed.

Brittany Ledger

Google
The pizza here was good- not quite like Jersey or NY pizza but it wasn’t that bad. It also comes out fast. There’s no table service here you order at the counter. We basically got a small meat lovers and it was plenty of food for two people.

Google
Okay pizza for maine, its quite doughy and had a lot of cheese, but not really in a good way. I still enjoyed it, but the cheese was just mozzarella squares that formed a dense layer, and the crust wasn’t crispy. The wait on the 4th of july for whole pies was long (as expected) but we got slices in about 10 mins. Id imagine much less wait on most days. The inside seating both upstairs and downstairs was nice, though a little crowded. Bathrooms are in the back.

Google
1 bite everybody knows the rules! The cheese pizza slice was 4.4 🍕 Not good. I will say it was nice to have a place to sit down on a busy Sunday night and eat. My meatball sub was ok. Bread was fresh and soft. The meatballs were 100% frozen and microwaved. Super lacking in cheese. Chicken Philly was trash. Chicken parm and meatball pasta dishes were mehhh at best. Don't get them. Cesar salad was good. Nice and big.

Google
This is the ONLY affordable place to eat in town. This place remind me of the 80s. For pizza, don’t expect the dough to be like Napoli or NY style pizza dough. Ingredient is ok. Had the baked sub, and the vegetable are raws. At least sauté it like the onion and mushroom in the steak Philly. Anyway, I would not come back.

Google
guys im from jersey and trust this pizza is AMAZING. good price, quick service. pasta & pizza were amazing. got the 14” for 2 ppl - really enjoyed and made amazing leftovers as well!!

Yelp
Pizza is 4.5! Delish. We had cheese and vegetarian. Veggies are fresh and plentiful. Seating and ambiance are hectic and stressful. Seating available upstairs and downstairs. First come first serve. 2 separate waiting areas/lines. No hostess. People milling about, tight squeezes, confusion.
google avatar

Christophe D.

Yelp
We ordered a pizza there Personal was very nice and ambience was cool, the pizza however was not good at all. We ate 1 slice each and let the rest of it... Please pizzaiolo, put some heart in your work.

Yelp
Outstanding. We went three times in a week. Great pizza and great calzone and comparatively cheap for Bar Harbor. Got carryouts 3 times, always ready promptly. There is no better place for great, family style, well priced, hot, delicious food. The place Smells like love.

Yelp
Long day of hiking and we were looking for an easy and delicious meal so we found Rosalie's. It's seat yourself and despite it being busy we found a table. It's got a very classic and 70s vibe inside which was really fun. After sitting we ordered at the counter. We got a round of beers, some cheesy bread and the vegetarian pizza. The cheesy bread was delicious despite it being super simple with just some fresh mozzarella on top. The pizza was stellar with TONS of toppings and a great thin crust. Extremely well priced and good vibes!

Yelp
We were looking for a quick and easy pizza dinner after a long day of hiking so we decided to stop into Rosalie's. Rosalie's is fast-casual, so we ordered at the counter and then found ourselves a table. I loved the 70s vibes of the restaurant. We got some beers, cheesy bread, and a vegetarian pizza. The cheesy bread was pretty simple, plain white bread with cheese slices on top but it was good. The pizza however was so delicious and I loved that they had tons of toppings. Great pizza spot!

Jr L.

Yelp
Their subs are simply the best, I would highly recommend their nightmare sub, I think its the best sub in all of New England and the people who work there are friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
A local encouraged us to add Rosalie's to our trip and it was a very solid pie. You order at the counter and wait at a table of your choice. It was a busy weekend in July but there was ample seating. We were told it would take 35-40 min for our pizza so we got salads while we waited. One was made incorrectly which they quickly fixed. Pizza didn't end up taking too long and we were glad to have waited. Best pizza in Bar Harbor.
google avatar

Kiran V.

Yelp
Great pizza for the price. It's seat yourself so you may have to wait a little bit for a table. The vibes are very cute old school pizza place and they were playing 70s and 80s hits too. We got the vegetarian pizza and garlic bread with cheese. They have some beers on tap as well. Perfect meal to end a day of hiking!

Yelp
First thought, an affordable place to eat in Bar Harbor! You walk up and order then they bring the food to you. Restaurant is cute and didn't overdue with the retro theme. Seating is offered upstairs and downstairs. Service was quick and friendly, restaurant was clean and located in the heart of town. The pizza itself tastes like a fancier version of bowling alley pizza and left my partner and I to feel quite sick later in the night.
google avatar

Jen T.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious pizza!! You will not be disappointed. Old school pizzeria vibe with fun memorabilia on the walls with a fast and friendly staff.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while going to a restaurant nearby and my brother really wanted to try that Calzone. Got a Pepperoni Cheese Calzone to go. It was big and fresh and good balance of cheese and pepperoni too. Only downside was that the dough on the outside was very thick, so quite a few bites at the beginning were just plain bread.
google avatar

Yelp
Much more than I was expecting. We were so sick of wait times at restaurants and didn't feel like going to the grocery again so pickup felt right. There's only 3 places that I saw in town and based on reviews this seemed the more reliable choice. So this is pretty solid pizza. Not too heavy on the cheese and totally packed with toppings. Good sauce, not sweet. The stuffed broccoli and feta pizza was my favorite, I ate the leftovers for breakfast. The calzone was a hit but much smaller than I expected - hand pie sized. Definitely call early because the pickup times are l*o*n*g - 90 minutes. I tried calling later on to see if there was a parking place for pickup orders (there aren't!) and nobody answered but there was a message saying they are no longer accepting orders. Took a while to do the pickup also because so busy. Prices are steeper than I would expect for pizza but was a cheaper option than other restaurants in town.

Yelp
We were craving pizza after hiking Pemetic Mountain today. We called in an XL Pizza Napoletano-Everything but the Chef pie. It took about 20 min. The pie was delicious! Pretty thick crust, chock full of sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and I guess this is a Maine thing....hamburger. It was actually very good! Service was quick. I'm glad we ordered for take out because it was packed in there! Stopped in Hannafords to pick up a blueberry pie for dessert. Thank you!

Yelp
Coming from the pizza capital this was rough. The only good thing was they were open later than most other places. Maybe if we tried them again we'd get something else. The pizza was soggy and the pizza was chewy. The center looked almost not cooked and everything fell off. The sauce was almost like a vodka sauce with Italian seasoning. Unfortunately, we didn't eat it. Come to New Haven CT we'll show you pizza.
google avatar

Christine Y.

Yelp
Holy crap this pizza was so delicious. It was exactly what we needed at the end of a long day of hiking in Acadia. However, the wait was very long so be warned. Table space is limited so you may want to consider doing takeout. The crust was so crunchy. We really enjoyed the Neapolitan pizza that has the perfect combination of ingredients which is everything.

Phillip M.

Yelp
Super great. Super busy. Lots of locals but others as well. Forgot our wallet but they still took our order so if could cook while husband ran back to the inn where we were staying to retrieve his wallet. Highly recommend

Yelp
Long wait for food (over 45 minutes), nice to have a gluten free option but wasn't a great or very filling meal, worked for being conveniently located when we were hungry. Definitely touristy and loud.

Shruti D.

Yelp
When you walk by this place, the aroma of freshly baked pizzas will draw you in. It drew me in twice in 2 days. First time, we ordered the Vegetarian Special pizza, which was just what we needed after a long drive to Bar Harbor. Second time, there was a long wait (over 1 hr) for a pizza so we ended up ordering the Baked Vegetarian Special, which did not live up to our expectations. It was advertised as a baked special but all of the vegetables in the sub were cold and raw, including the mushrooms, which was worrisome. All in all, I recommend trying their pizzas; can't saw the same about the subs.
google avatar

Kendra H.

Yelp
We ordered a huge medium pizza. Come hungry bc the medium was the size of a large in other shops. We also ordered two gluten free pizzas which were delicious. Gluten free can be difficult for some stores but they did a great job. Highly recommend

Yelp
Two adult couples searching for great pizza in Bar Harbor. Very small restaurant. Fast Casual - order at counter food brought out. Both Pizza's were pretty darn good. Not the greatest ever, but good. The pizza was a little soggy toward the middle. Pizza was three stars, Greek and Antipasto salad were five stars. Probably will try a different spot next time we're in town. Worth a try.

Yelp
Amazing Pizza, would definitely go back. Cute and retro atmosphere. Service was great!

Susan S.

Yelp
Just a fun place and good food! Delicious pizza. I know everyone has their own idea of good pizza but this came very close to what I'm used to. Thin crust, nice bubbling edge. The mushrooms are chopped up for a wonderful flavor. You order at the counter, find a table, and they bring you the food when it's ready! We really enjoyed it. Bravo, Rosalie's.
google avatar

Diana K.

Yelp
The best pizza in town, hands down! Cool place to step in and enjoy great pizza and recharge. Employees are so friendly.

Yelp
Best Pizza in Bar Harbor. Great Ambiance, Excellent Service. I Highly recommend Rosalie's pizza!

Bill J.

Yelp
We were able to get right in sat upstairs they have create your own pizza we love BBQ chicken pizza it came out great
google avatar

Yelp
Loved their pizzas! We tried the spinach, garlic & mushroom, a plain cheese, and a Hawaiian. All delicious! Service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up a delicious slice of veggie pizza. Many guests were buying whole pizzas to go. By prime dinner time this place is completed packed both upstairs and downstairs so I recommend coming earlier or during off peak hours if you can. Their staff makes the pizza on the spot and you can see them twirling the dough behind the counter. Their fresh out of the oven pizza is delicious! The toppings were plentiful and nothing was burnt. The pizza is thin crust and held up well the entire time. Good place for sure!
google avatar

Johnny V.

Yelp
The pizza was fantastic and quick got takeout and was immediately ready and it was really delicious you should definitely try it and the inside of the restaurant was cool and retro looking!

Yelp
Great place to eat at while in Bar Harbor! I was looking for something a little more low-key, but with great flavor and this place checked off both of those requirements. My wife and I shared a small pizza and we added pepperoni and olives, so it came out to about $10. It was hot, cheesy, and perfectly crunchy. The portion size was perfect! My one kid ordered a cheese slice and my other kid got the child's spaghetti with meatball. All the food is made to order, so it's a little bit of a wait but absolutely worth it!

Mary Ellen Y.

Yelp
Rosalies pizza was 5 star outstanding; it's a must stop in a town full of excellent options . The salad was just ok; I will skip the salad next time and order extra pizza. We sat upstairs and were quite comfortable.

Yelp
We were exhausted and starving after a long day of biking in Acadia, so after dropping off our bikes at the rental shop next door, we made a beeline for the heavenly scent of pizza emanating from Rosalie's. This is the right move. We managed to beat the crowds on our October visit, as it was just about 5pm and the dinner hunt hadn't yet started en masse. We sat upstairs, but you actually just go to the counter downstairs to submit your order. We got a salad and decided to share a large pizza, which was plenty of food even for two famished adventurers. Even though it wasn't yet at capacity, my only struggle here is that it takes a sec to get your food. We figured out the order thing, and there is indeed a bar upstairs, but you're a little on your own for service and it can take a bit of waiting in line to order and pay and then really to get your food. Once it arrived, however, we scarfed it down. We sat the window and contemplated the day, and also wondered if our sore legs would get us down that stairway. It was hot, and we laughed and ate it as the sunlight streamed through those windows and other outdoor adventurers took to the streets below us. It's a lovely way to cap off the day. Full of bready, saucy, cheesy warmth, we paid (not outrageous, but it ain't cheap) and were on our happy way. Definitely the right move when in town.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
We had received recommendations for this spot. It's really cute and the service was fast and friendly. but the pizza was a disappointment. the sub was better by far
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
After sightseeing in downtown Bar Harbor, we decided to pick up pizza and sub to take back to our Airbnb for dinner. We chose this eatery because of good reviews. We were happy with the foods. The baked veggie sub was delicious with the bread having a nice crunch. The thin crust of our Italian sausage pizza was nicely baked. Prices were acceptable since we were in a tourist trap. This place was super busy, but our order was ready in about 15 minutes.
google avatar

Elise M.

Yelp
Caesar salad and veggie pizza were good but not the best I've had. Took a bit to find a table but after that it's self serve, order at the counter and get your own plates, utensils etc. they're open late and on Sunday's which is a plus as many Bar Harbor establishments are closed then
google avatar

Courtney K.

Yelp
Bottom Line: An old fashioned pizzeria serving tasty, thin crust pizza. On a cold Saturday night my husband and I were drawn to Rosalie's Pizza for a hot dinner. In early June, Rosalie's was bustling with both those dining in and those carrying out armfuls of pizza. We ordered a few house salads and a pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. The pizza was really tasty. The salads were basic. The logistics at Rosalie's when we visited was to seat yourself, review the menu, place your order at the counter and then a food runner delivers food to your table. Our salads came out fairly quickly but we waited a long time for pizza. As noted above, it was a full house inside but I think it was probably the many to-go pizzas that were in the queue before us. There was a constant stream of people picking up pizzas - sometimes entire stacks. Interactions with the staff were minimal but everyone seemed friendly in those brief interactions. We enjoyed the ambience of an retro feeling pizza parlor.

Yelp
Enjoyed Rosalie's! Hope to visit again. Yum! Pizza was great. Are at the restaurant upstairs. Enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Great pizza, fast and friendly service, and they have a nice selection of beverages as well. A great spot for a couple of slices and a beer after a long day exploring BH and surrounding environs.

Stephen V.

Yelp
Their pizza is horrific. Only in a tourist town could a place like this stay in business.

Sheila C.

Yelp
Good pizza, family atmosphere and reasonable prices. Also gluten friendly. A family favorite that we visit each time we come to Bar Harbor.
google avatar

Brooke C.

Yelp
Really pleased with our take out order. Was ready in less than 30min. Pizza was solid. Really liked their marinara sauce. Meatballs were average, but would still order them again.
google avatar

Miranda R.

Yelp
First stop in Bar Harbor because they are open after 9 pm and it was such a cozy, delicious dinner! You order at a counter and then your food is brought out. You get to watch them make pizza and calzone fresh right at the counter while you wait. Good jazz music played the whole time, and the walls were covered in music posters - they even had a jukebox! We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, a cheese calzone, a cheese slice, and a pepperoni slice. The meatballs were some of the best I've had! The sauce was delicious, it was a perfect comfort meal. Exactly what you would expect from spaghetti and meatballs in the best way! The pizza was amazing as well. Suuuper cheesy! We noticed that they use whole deli slices on mozzarella cheese and it give it an incredible cheese pull. The cheese calzone was smaller than some calzones, but it turned out to be the perfect size. Served full of gooey cheese and herbs, and a side of marinara. The servers were nice, the restaurant was clean, and prices were fair - if not low for such quality, but I won't complain about that! They had an upstairs dining area as well, but we were there til close so we didn't explore the space.
google avatar

Sharon N.

Yelp
First off, who doesn't like a jukebox playing tunes, from the '40's-'70's? Who doesn't like memorabilia on the walls? Who doesn't like good pizza? We made our own pizza and it was great, came with all the toppings that you shake on, crushed red peppers, parmigiana, oregano & garlic powder.

Erik K.

Yelp
Nice, inexpensive spot to feed the family in a northern, wood-paneled, music themed setting. The pizza is some of the best Napoli-style had on a driving tour of New England. If it's busy, check upstairs to find more tables and a less hectic place to order. But you do need to get your own plates and tableware.

J R.

Yelp
Based on our visit, the upstairs dining area was much quieter and seemed more attractive to families. Downstairs was pretty crowded, busy, and noisy. That said, we were perfectly happy upstairs. Pizza was great!! Servers were very pleasant.
google avatar

Leigh Ann R.

Yelp
Pizza was awesome! We each created our own small pizzas and they were huge and delicious. My husband ordered the cheese steak sub and said it was good. The garlic bread with cheese was simple but flavorful. The service was good though you do have to order at the counter. They will bring your food out to you though. The atmosphere was relaxed but fun, with a plethora of things to look at on the walls. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Kay H.

Yelp
We eat here every summer. It's CONSISTENTLY amazing. I like thin style pizza and sauce that has obvious flavors of herbs. I like crispy hot flavorful cheese and pepperoni. I like crust that stays a little crispy on the bottom but fresh and steamy on the top. This place offers a pizza with all of that. It's the best I've ever had anywhere in the U.S. and I will always keep coming back. The added bonus is the classic pizza joint vibe image and how you to get to watch them actually toss the dough if you sit downstairs.
google avatar

JEFF D.

Yelp
The food is off the chart's excellent! The smells of Italy draw you in from blocks away! We all had calzones and agree the best Calzones we ever had. Service functionality was professional and efficient but the thing we noticed was how everyone working on the floor here looked miserable! Would love to see happy employees, enjoying what they do! It's tough work and should at the very least be enjoying life!

AT T.

Yelp
Very kid friendly place for our picky kids. They love their fresh pizza slices. Services are fast.
google avatar

Alon G.

Yelp
Great value for the location. Good sized portions, reasonable price, food tasted good, wasn't greasy or gross. It took a little while to get the heated slices but that's because they were extremely busy, I definitely do not fault the staff for that. If anything it's a testament to this place's appeal. Would return for a quick, affordable bite
