The 14 Best Pizza Places In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Rosario’s Pizzeria has two locations in the city—one in Passyunk Square and the other in the Northeast—and at both, you’ll get Mexican pizza good enough to shout about them from the top of the Rocky Steps, One Liberty, or whatever doubles as a mountaintop around here. They make New York-style pizzas in varieties like al pastor, which gets a kick from the guajillo pepper base, marinated pork, and pineapple, and the Mexicana, topped with avocado and sausage. If you’re in the mood for pizzas with lots of cheese, Oprah's garden’s worth of chilis, and hefty chunks of quality Mexican meat, this is the place." - candis mclean, alison kessler

9 Restaurants That Could Only Exist In Philly

"In South Philly, Mexican and Italian communities live in mass. So, in a way, pizzas layered with mole and quesillo are an obvious innovation. (We wrote a whole guide about them.) Of all the options in Philly, Rosario’s simply does Mexican pizza best. Instead of getting hit with a waft of steaming marinara, these thin, crispy pies will smack you with cilantro, lime, and sizzled jalapeños. We especially like the version with al pastor or the avocado- and sausage-topped Mexicana, both of which are good enough to shout about from the Philly mountaintops, also known as One Liberty Place." - candis mclean

Google
The wings were ok but this is some of the best pizza in Philly. The Al Pastor Pie is one of my new all time favorites. The hype is legitimate.

Rosario’s is hands down my favorite pizza in the city. I know the regular places, this is better. The Mexican pizzas are a must try. My favorite is La Chicana. I love the chicken mole burrito, nachos, hoagies, and empanadas too. Honestly prob order here more than I should but everything is so good. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Rosario’s also catered my housewarming party and I order them when I have friends/family over and don’t want to cook

Order the tempura tacos all the time they always perfectly done today. I did a Uber Eats pick up order for them and they was terrible soaked in grease barely edible so I went back and let them know. I don’t wanna refund. I just wanna be right. It had an attitude, but that’s fine because Uber Eats gave me a four refund.❤️ terrible customer service

One of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. They use quality ingredients and my food is always on time and hot! I’ve been a customer for years and can’t say enough great things about this spot. I’m a big fan of their quesadillas, tacos, and taco salad. Definitely give this place a try. You won’t regret it!

Rosario’s has become my go-to for pizza delivery in Philly. This is the best pizza I’ve had in Philly, and I’ve tried a lot. Mexican style pizza is a unique and genius concept! Their American style pizzas are also delicious. The crust is absolutely perfect every time - so flavorful you wouldn’t dare toss it! Great quality, fresh ingredients and loads of toppings. Order the La Chicana pizza - you will be forever changed. Fries are also delicious, esp with cheese whiz + add bacon. They absolutely do not skimp on toppings here! Thank you for doing what you do - please don’t change!! There’s a lot of love here. EDIT: I tried the burritos today and they are out of this WORLD. We got the pastor burrito and steak burrito. They are HUGE, the size of your head. So much meat inside!! I am so so happy to know of Rosario’s and the clear effort and pure love they put into this incredible hidden gem in Philly. Another Edit: Tried the cheesesteak today - it’s good!

Their pizza is top notch and priced pretty well for the size. My partner and I love their pesto pizza and have already gone here multiple times for our pizza fix since moving into the area.

Solid pizza joint. Had a good amount of toppins, things were ready when they said they would be, and the pizza was good. Just moved to the area and this will be a solid local option. Looking forward to trying some of their mexi pizza options.
