How Arrosto’s Perfect Roast Chicken Gets Ready for Delivery | Eater London

"Born as a delivery-only Italian roast-chicken project inspired by a rotisserie in Naples, this operation focuses on intensely comforting, southern-Italian–tinged roast birds and chip-like potatoes delivered across the city. Small (≈1.3kg) Swaledale chickens are dry-cured for at least a day with salt, pepper and lots of thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano and bay, plus a knob of butter and a quarter lemon in the cavity to keep the breast juicy while allowing the dark meat to fall from the bone; the birds are left untrussed to dry the skin for extra crispness. A two-stage roast—pre-cooked to 75°C at 180°C with continuous basting, rested up to four hours, then finished at 230°C—caramelises the skin and uses transit time so chickens arrive hot and rested; a par-cooked option lets customers finish cooking at home. Roast potatoes are Maris Pipers (boiled, oil-blanched at 120°C then deep-fried at 180°C) designed to soak up chicken juices; because whole birds don’t yield enough dripping, the team roasts carcasses with butter to create a rich chicken elixir. Chopped thigh spiedini are grilled and lavishly dressed with a bright salmoriglio of oregano, garlic, olive oil and lemon, and the operation moves through roughly 140–160 chickens a week (Thu–Sun, midday–21:00), testament to the simple, craveable appeal of hot roast chicken and potatoes by-bike." - Adam Coghlan

Met the wonderful owners when we came in late Wednesday evening. They were just getting ready to close, but they were gracious enough to serve us a very tasty Italian Beef Sandwich. They gave us some good advice on ordering a pizza the next time we return. Very nice people, and we very much enjoyed our meal. I will be definitely coming back!

I'm really annoyed. From Chicago, we look forward to Rosati's. Placed my order online.. says 30 mins. Arrived 30 mins waited another 10-15 in the front of store.. finally they give me the order sealed up.. looking forward to some hot goodness that supposed to taste like home. Pretty sure the cook doesn't read English. Green pepper instead of sweet peppers on an Italian beef is a joke.. u oughta be slapped for that. Then to release a pizza without the dough cooked on the bottom.. deep dish of all... Shame and a giant disgusting non formed mess. Royally messed up this order. Got home open it, called back they were closed. Pretty sure the cooked pushed uncooked crap out of the kitchen so him and the girl could close up and leave quick. However I placed my order about an 1hr before it was ready so that's pretty pathetic. $46 of bad food and I tipped them on online check out. (Why tips should be prompted after pick up). To the owner/manager- feel free to respond for a refund. I called the following day twice phone kept ringing.. no one picked up rang over and over. See appalling photos.. if u want to reimburse me I will remove the photos and the review otherwise.. go to a different Rosati's because if u can't do the 2 main dishes right it's a straight up fail! And when ppl want Rosati's here it's cuz they miss home they want the real thing not bs Florida lazy we want our good food.

We were a hunt for the best pizza in town for several months. This place is hands down our favorite. The Chicago style pizza is perfection. Chef’s kiss. 💯🤌 So much cheese. So much sauce. Great flavor. Would be willing to bet the sauce is homemade. Staff is super friendly. Heads up to anyone wondering, this location is better than the other one. Just more consistent all around. The Chicago style does take 50 minutes but it is well worth the wait. Just plan ahead. You won’t be disappointed.

We wanted to find good pizza near our location and hit the jackpot with Rosati’s! I ordered extra tomatoes on a white pizza with spinach, olive oil and tomatoes — outstanding!! And no scrimp on the “extra” tomatoes which were fresh, juicy & delicious! My husband ordered a Chicago pizza and said it also was outstanding in flavor and quantity! So happy we found great pizza in our area! Will be back (again & again) !!

While visiting from out of town, we made a point to stop in for Chicago pizza. Margie was our server and she was so pleasant and attentive. The food was nice and hot and so delicious! Even my picky kids said how good the pizza was. We had thin crust and it was just like being in the Chicago burbs. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Try it , you won’t be disappointed. Just note the hours if you decide to go. They are limited and they said it takes 30 minutes for a pizza. There were a few people that came in close to closing that couldn’t order a pizza as a result. The owners were super nice about it.

This is the absolute best Chicago deep dish pizza I’ve ever enjoyed in Naples! My significant other has a gluten allergy, and the gluten-free pizza they offer is incredibly crunchy and delicious. Additionally, there was a slight miscommunication when I ordered over the phone, but when I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Their top-notch customer service has truly impressed me, and you have gained a customer for life!

We are native Chicagoans, and this is our first season in Naples. It's difficult to find Chicago style pizza, but we did at Rosati's. We've visited several Rosati's over the years in Chicago area, but this location is even better than all of them. Not only did we find Chicago style pizza, we found better Chicago style pizza. The food great, and the service was too. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The owner came by and checked on our dining experience personally. If you're here from Chicago and you want great thin crust pizza, go here. If you're here from the East Coast and use to having a "pie", give it a try. It may be cut in squares, but the flavor is fantastic.
