Sad day today. This place has been my go to for pizza for as long as I can remember. I've been a loyal customer of the Golf rd location for the last 8 years, and I crave their thin crust, well done, extra pepperoni pizza at least once a week. Recently, I've restricted my diet and decided that I would only order from them on my cheat day. That one special day to keep my mental well-being strong and intact after spending a week feasting on low carb meals. Today was that day, and I was so excited to splurge on an epic cheat day, but I was beyond disappointed and let down by horrible customer service that left me utterly frustrated with my experience.... so much so that I'm honestly offended to the point that I will never order from this location again.
Whomever the young lady is answering the phone gave me the run around for 2 1/2 hours after ordering. I called at least four times questioning when the food would arrive, and she kept lying to me and saying that it was on the way. After the third call, she told me that they were really backed up and that I could expect my food in 20-25 minutes. 40 minutes went by before I called again to question what was going on. The lady lied again and said that the food was out for delivery. I proceeded to ask for an ETA and she refused to give it to me. She kept saying that it was on the way, but the funny thing about this story is that I could have literally walked the 3 miles to the restaurant faster than their driver could deliver the food. I understand that things happen that may prevent from us from working efficiently, but I can't look pass the continuous lies and lack of professionalism that ultimately left me HANGRY, and I didn't have a Snickers nearby. Needless to say, I had to cancel my order and settle for a steak burrito. It just wasn't the same, and my epic cheat meal fell flat.
