Some of the best fried chicken wings that i have ever had. They were nice size, fried hard, and seasoned well. The waffle was very tasty with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla flavor, but was not crispy like I like them and was served with enough soft butter and warm syrup. The mashed potatoes and gravy was very good and homemade. Unfortunately the potato salad for me is a hard "no". Definitely recommended this place. Btw met a really cool former Miami Hurricane and Denver Bronco linebacker, D.J. Williams. He was a very cool and down to earth brother. ✌🏾

From our travels we've been to alot of"World Famous " places and they don't live up to the hype. Sometimes it's just the complete opposite. Roscoe's food did not disappoint. We were greeted outside upon walking into the restaurant. The menu was straight forward. Of course we got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were soft and moist. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy. They even offered chicken sausage for non-pork eaters. The staff was very friendly. Upon leaving we purchased some of their signature hot sauces.

I went into this establishment with my family. It was five of us and one wasn't there yet so the hostess asked the manager could we sit because she was on the way. The manager replied no and was rude. She was his hispanic lady and she was also rude to some other black customers that were there. I believe her name is Nonmg not to sure. She was treating the employees very rude. It makes me not want to spend my money there ever again. I go to rascal's a lot and I have never been treated like this. This was a black-owned place. And my guess is not black own business but again, that doesn't matter?I just would like to be treated with fairness. The chicken had no flavor it is nothing like a used to be the waffle didn't even have flavor I had to put hot sauce on my chicken just to get flavor this is a very expensive place to eat for it.Not to taste good. The only good experience I had was with the security guard. The hostess in my waiter, and they kept telling me that they were sorry, but it wasn't their fault.

For the last almost 2 years I refused to go here because my last 2 experiences were horrible. Cold food, rude waitstaff dismal atmosphere. I gave them another chance last Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great! Hot, tasty and served quickly.our waitress Pam was so nice. She was very efficient and just a pleasure to deal with. The atmosphere could use some work but overall I was glad I gave them another chance.

I now know what all the hype is about Roscoe's. Somebody in that kitchen has some southern roots because the way those wings were cooked to perfection, I just know. The server was a little slow coming to take our order but once he did come, the food came shortly after. It also took a little minute to get a refill on our drinks, but again he appeared to be the only server and it was only about 4 small (2-4 ppl) groups. This did not put a damper on my chances of returning because I will definitely go back to this location the next time I come to L.A.

Best Roscoe's experience I've had so far! This location is spacious and has parking. It wasn't very crowded on a Sunday evening. Got seated quickly, the server was attentive, and food came out fast! I was very surprised. I give the service and my waiter an 11/10!! The food was up to par, but I remember the other Roscoe's location having more spectacular food. One of my drumsticks was a bit dry, but I can't complain since they gave me 2 legs when I ordered 1. The ambiance is casual with nothing really fancy. The table could have been cleaner and the hot sauces could've been wiped.

This was our first stop after getting to L.A. to get some breakfast. There's lots of parking for this business and in a great location. We were promptly seated when we arrived. We placed our orders and drinks . Coffee, water, and a coke. To eat wings and waffle, the breakfast sandwich with smothered potatoes, and wings with red beans and rice. First the best: the chicken was very flavorful with a light breading , inside was juicy and full of flavor . The waffle: Roscoes waffle has a great vanilla flavor and are a good size in circumference but a bit flat and not crisp at all, served hot but kind of soft. The red beans and rice: perfectly cooked rice and beans but lacked seasoning. Had to add salt and pepper. The texture was on point, just needed flavor. Also came with a big piece of cornbread (delicious). The breakfast sandwich: Two buttermilk biscuits with fried egg, chicken sausage, and cheddar cheese. The sandwiches were on point. Biscuits look dry upon presentation but are very moist inside. Egg was over medium as I like and chicken sausage stood out with a great flavor. Smothered potatoes: potatoes in a bowl with light brown gravy on top. Once again perfectly cooked potatoes with a gravy that missed the seasoning ( a little Tony's would have went a long way). Overall it was a decent meal but not something I would gravitate to again.

But those days are gone. I'm sorry, but I won't be going back to any of them. And this location? Whew. It's fighting hard for the title of "Worst Roscoe's," but the Long Beach one is still holding first place with a tight grip. Here's what happened: My son said he wanted fried chicken -- simple, right? He even wanted his party catered by them. So I called Roscoe's to place an order. Called. Left messages. Called again. Not a whisper back. So I drove up there thinking maybe face-to-face would help. I tried to pay a deposit, and the woman behind the counter looked at me like I was interrupting her Nobel Prize acceptance speech. "I'm busy," she said. Busy doing what? Because it surely wasn't taking my order. Thank God I had a backup plan, but my son really wanted their chicken. And that's what had me bothered. Roscoe's used to be that spot. Now it's just a spot I drive past while shaking my head. At this point, I've had my last waffle and wing from there -- and I ain't looking back.

We got the country boy and Roscoe's original chicken tenders. Fried chicken was average. I'm not sure if the oil needed to be changed but it wasn't the best fried chicken I have had. Staff was friendly, quick and efficient. The vibe felt like a dining hall. For two dishes and a lemonade including tip came out to $80. It's not a cheap meal, however if it's on your bucket list to try...then go! A couple of days later I had Jolibees fried chicken. Compare the fried chicken and then decide which one tastes better?

I have always wanted to eat here ever since I heard about it and I finally got to do it on my vacation trip to LA. The food was spectacular and so filling that we had to take home leftovers. The service was very prompt and courteous. And the ambiance was actually nice considering it wasn't that busy. Roscoe's in Inglewood is exactly what you'd expect.. bustling, lively, and filled with a warm, family environment. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience feel welcoming. We went with the Country Boy Special with a twist... 3 wings, a waffle, and cheesy onion eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the chicken was flavorful and crispy, and of course, the waffle tied it all together. Nothing overly fancy, just good food done right. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

First stop after getting off the plane, and picking up the rental car. I've been here before and don't quite remember it from the last time, but this time, i will definitely remember it. The food was fresh, made to order and delicious. I opted to get the traditional chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy, and juicy. The waffles were soft, and semi fluffy. They weren't thick, but not too thin either. Service was A1, and checkout of seamless. It's nothing too special about the ambiance, but plenty of seating and can bring large groups if needed.

Well how do I start, I'm never one to really send food back or blatantly complain openly. This place was horrible ok we had 20 people but the place only had about 5 customers total and they look like regulars that were just hanging out. The waiter sat us promptly took our drink order because we were still waiting on other party to arrive. Drinks came out quickly, the waiter ask if we were ready we had questions and he blurted out answers Once we placed our orders he kept leaving to assist other customers, he told us about 10 times that he was the only wait staff in the restaurant. Food order was placed and we waited, 5 of our party left because the service was slow and we had a plane to catch, and again he was the only staff working the floor. Once food was coming out there was another gentleman assisting him. He proceeded to sit the food at the end of table and said pass it to the correct person. Finally everyone received their food except for one of the kids, they finally fixed his order but forgot drink we brought it to his attention and he said ok I'll take off bill, no sir he is a kid that wanted a drink like the other kids. So sad! FOOD: eggs cold, fries cold, chicken thighs overcooked too hard to eat, cornbread horrible (stated no hot water cornbread today as stated on menu), waffles cold and soggy, wings were surprisingly tasty. We went to the front to pay and the counter staff was just as rude. Ma'am we just paid a grip in here and this is the service we received. Reminded me of the mean cafeteria lady. We paid and bid them farewell never to return again. Next time be more grateful it was a Tuesday afternoon by God and that might be the last big crowd for the day.

Definitely check Roscoe's if you're in Los Angeles. It's a Los Angeles staple. I am from the Deep South, so I am hyper-critical of southern food. The waffle with the syrup is outstanding. The waffle here is one of the best waffles I have ever had. The chicken, on the other hand, is just okay. I can say that the chicken is not bad, but it's nothing to write home about. It's also at a higher price point, and it's just okay tasting. The food came out fast. The service is okay. The servers are friendly. They didn't have Diet Coke, which made me kind of sad. The drinks that they make in house are really sweet. I really loved the fries. I could see myself coming back, but I wouldn't eat chicken here regularly.

I spent Mother's Day weekend in LA, and as a Bay Area native, there's nothing I wanted more for my brunch than to eat at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. This was my first time at this location, and fortunately, it wasn't crowded. We found parking right away and were seated quickly. The restaurant was presentable, clean, and not as crowded as other locations. Although we were seated promptly, we did wait about 30 minutes for our server to take our order. However, our food arrived within 30 minutes after that. I ordered the Scoe with a side of greens and mac and cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious! I have no complaints about the food at all. I'm really glad I chose this particular location and will definitely return when I'm in the area!

We've been to a couple of Roscoe's over the years and at the very least the consistency is there. Chicken is good, but the best ever... maybe depending on your preference. The waffle is a must since it's their best dish. The prices have def increased, but it seems like the portions have gotten smaller. Overall, 3.5 stars for me since there are other options out there that tastes better and give more value.

We landed at LAX and decided to come here because it was relatively close. We were seated right away but had to wait for our waitress. That wasn't a big issue because we were trying to figure out what to order. I was surprised at the number of people already there because it was morning time. There's a large selection of choices on the menu! Almost overwhelming! When our waitress came to the table she was amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection. The red beans and rice were good. The candied yams were on point. The collard greens were just ok. The cornbread was great, it had a little sweetness and was moist not dry. Also the restaurant was clean and had a standard seating arrangement. I see why this is a must try place! Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it.

I think this is the third Roscoe's location I've been to, and as always it delivers. Something about their seasoned fried chicken and that waffle marries together with a hearty drizzle of syrup that can't be beat. I always want to try their other menu items, but I just can't pass up this winning combo. I did notice it's gotten more expensive, but I guess that's just the times we are in. We had an amazing and funny waitress, and of course enjoyed Roscoe's casual dining environment. Can't wait to come back.

If you're visiting LA, taking a trip to Roscoe's is a MUST! This restaurant is pretty well known for LA natives and even those who are not from here. This specific location is a short 10 minute drive from the LAX Airport so it's perfect if you're hungry after a long (or even short) flight! The food is authentic, holds a lot of flavor, & the waffles are quite literally some of the best waffles I've ever had! The food came out in a timely manner AND still tasted fresh! There are plenty of options if you happen to not be a chicken or waffle lover. You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I definitely recommend at least trying the waffles and chicken because that is what they're famous for! I believe our servers were attentive & and we were well cared for! The only complaint I have is the price of the food! Could definitely see why it's that way because of inflation but still wish it was slightly cheaper!

I've been to a few different Roscoe's in my lifetime and this has been my favorite experience so far. My last memory at a different location years ago wasn't as pleasant. Came in after 9pm on a weekday, forgive us I know you guys closed within the next hour. The hostess and our server, Ron, were so friendly and warm, they didn't even rush us one bit. Shared the Herb's Special #2 which is a half chicken with gravy and 2 waffles. Ron offered to have gravy on the side so we went with that. Ugh everything was on point, so delicious. The plates came out hot n fresh. Already split in two plates, which I appreciated. Chicken had a nice crisp on the outside but juicy on the inside. Just enough seasonings and flavor. Loved the waffles; had extra flavor of cinnamon or somethin. Corn bread was the real thing, nothing too sweet. Got the leftovers to go and it's already prepared with syrups packed up. Loved everything about this meal! Service and the piping hot food really sold me.

Take me back to the 90's when Roscoes was really thriving ! I stopped in before a show at the Kia Forum & was flagged done by Monique for my table. No greeting, didn't ask me how many was in my party or anything . Terrible customer service. It Took over 30 mins just to get water & you can imagine how long the food took. Once our wings came, they were still pink on the inside. I know Roscoes is usually busy but 30+ mins for water is insane. This location needs some readjusting .

Macaroni and cheese was RAW. Raw eggs, runny. All of the food was terrible and I ended up on the toilet. I'm done! No more eating out for me! This is the second time in 60 days or so. Filed a complaint with the Department of Public Health. Since you don't care about the health of your customers, I don't care about your business. Investigate them!!!

I had a great experience at Roscoe's! I ordered the chicken sausage with a waffle and eggs with onions, and everything was cooked just right. The waffle had that perfect balance of crispy and fluffy, and the chicken sausage had great flavor. The Sunrise drink was so good--refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back!

Fried chicken is lightly breaded and fried to crispy juicy deliciousness. I like to put some chicken in the waffles to make a taco and then dunk it in butter and drench it with syrup. It's a satisfying feeling to shove it in your mouth and get all those flavors. I really love this indulgence and I love Roscoe's for being nice to our dog too.

Came here before going to the Blackpink concert because a friend recommended it. We were really hungry and hoping for something satisfying, but honestly, it didn't hit the spot. The food was just okay, nothing special or memorable. I ordered the chicken, and it tasted pretty basic, like something you could get anywhere. The service and ambiance are okay, it was a Sunday and the place was getting busy, but there was only one server for the whole restaurant. We were hoping for a great meal before the concert, but it just didn't deliver. Not terrible, but definitely not worth the hype. Probably wouldn't come back.

Would not recommend coming here, place has a few people in it, nothing crazy. Walked in got sat and no one even came to our table. Hostess says there's a system where no one even gets your drink order. No one comes over to say hey we are kinda busy I'll be right back. Not even a drink order was placed after 20 minutes of pretty much being ignored we just walked out. And hostess just didn't care and scratched the name off. I get it if it was packed. But things like this is why no one returns. I think I've have this chicken maybe 4 years ago. And the experience was still mediocre. I'll be glad when this subpar chicken chain is gone. And please get better workers cause this place is not it. I'm sure there are way better chicken and waffles places better than this and it's about time we kick this place.

As good as I remember it! I remember LOVING Roscoe's when I was a lot younger. I wanted to see if it would stand up to the hype in my mind. AND IT DID! My party of 7 arrived at Roscoe's on a Friday night around 6:30 and the restaurant was very open. We were seated right away as there were so many open seats. Our server was SUPER nice. Kind and quick too! I ended up ordering #13 (1 succulent breast, 1 delicious waffle). The food arrived SO FAST. Something that caught my eye was that the portion size definitely seemed small. As a smaller 5 '1 girl, I ate #13 all by myself, no problem, and still had space for a lil more food. The chicken itself was delicious! Crispy, seasoned well, and moist. REALLY GOOD CHICKEN! The waffle is tasty as well. It is definitely more on the soggy side for a waffle so it may not be some people's favorite type of waffle. But the flavor is good and it's got a little bit of fluff to it. The real banger of this meal is a bite of chicken (WITH SKIN), some waffle, butter, syrup, AND hot sauce! THIS BITE ALONE is quite a magical experience. My friend ordered something else that came with 2 sides and the side servings were massive. It literally came with a mountain of fries! Fries were a-okay. Average fries. I'm glad I came back. It was definitely delicious! Hope to come back again!

It's a tourist spot that's over hyped. The chicken is average, the waffles are good but that's not hard to find. They served me some of the worst red beans and rice I've ever had- straight out of a can. No refills on the drinks The prices are high and not worth it. I don't know many locals who hype this place. Visited here on my first stop from the airport on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Opted for a seat towards the back of the restaurant by the window and there was a puddle of water nearby that just had a wet floor sign over it. Now this was odd because it wasn't a huge puddle but more of a spill. As I say and waited for the server I saw 3 employees walk over this puddle and move the sign but nobody acted like it was a problem. Ordered The Scoe with a side of Mac n cheese. Food came out very quickly to my surprise and after that someone finally came to mop up water but then the guy puts down another wet floor sign. It really made no sense how many times that puddle was walked around and the place was not busy. Anyways back to the food. My waffles were slightly undercooked and kind of doughy, my chicken on the other hand was a bit over cooked and overly crispy. The Mac n cheese was the only thing that was just right. I don't think I'd return to this location again.

Decided I finally needed to try Roscoe's and it didn't disappoint me, I guess the only thing disappointing was the price. Chicken is juicy and well seasoned. Food is consistent, can always count on the chicken to be seasoned well, the Waffles are soft and cooked through and their syrup is always warm. Depending on the time of day, the wait can be long, but people rotate out fairly quick. The staff are friendly, they're not overly attentive as they running trying to get to all their tables.

Overall, our experience here was good. The servers were friendly, our order was brought out quickly and the restaurant was clean. The prices are high though. I really only wanted one waffle and three wings, but it came with two waffles - probably so they can charge more. Loved the wings and waffle, they were very tasty. My cousin ordered three wings and smothered potatoes - which were not very good because they were pasty. We each had orange juice and the total for those two meals was over $60!!

What's not to like about delicious golden fried chicken and mouth watering buttery waffles! Roscoe's never disappoints! Brought some family friends visiting from France to the iconic Roscoe's Chicken n waffles and while I missed taking photos of everything consumed, you get the gist. Server was friendly (and patient--thank you! :)) while our French friends decided what to order. Restaurant was lively, busy and bustling per usual on a Friday afternoon and the kids even got giddy showing they really enjoyed their meal! Lol Bon Appetit!

Always enjoy Roscoe's. Usually do the Hollywood location as I've been going there for almost 40 years. First time at the "infamous" Inglewood spot and the food didn't disappoint. Same chicken n waffle goodness as usual. Same order as usual too only it's not called the Obama any longer? Now it's the country boy, which is proly actually what it was before Obama lol. Only gripe would be the table was sticky as f*** but it wasn't nearly as busy as Hollywood so it's a wash.

I enjoyed the meal at Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles. I particularly enjoyed the side dishes and the Sunset drink! We didn't have a reservation and even still, the service was still pretty quick. It was cool to visit the infamous tourist attraction.

As classic LA spot, this place is what you'd expect. Simple good food in a welcoming environment. It feels a bit chaotic when you walk in but the service here was good, fast and attentive. They have kind of a basic diner type menu but you should stick to what they are good at, the chicken and waffles. On my visit got 3 pieces of chicken and a waffle. Waffle came out solid, crispy with a side of butter and syrup. The chicken was nice a crispy and juicy, well seasoned. Was very happy with my meal. Not a mind blowning meal but the perfect comfort food classic. Also was surprised there was parking in their lot which was nice, but i did go during the morning.

My boyfriend and I came here to eat morning of 5/22 and we had such a good experience. Not only was the food amazing, but our waitress was very friendly and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Louisiana style hot sauce with our chicken and we were hooked. We went looking to buy at it the front cashier but they didn't have any in display at the moment and our server went to go grab one for us from the back which I thought was super sweet thank you guys can't wait to come back again
