The 25 Best Things to Eat At Disneyland, Ranked - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Location: Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Campus, California Adventure It only takes a few minutes to realize how profoundly boring the Avengers campus is, but before you leave, be sure to stop at the Pym’s Test Kitchen. The gigantic quantum pretzel is a must-order if you’re with some friends, but it’s the chicken sandwich that’s quickly become one of our favorite dishes in all California Adventure. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, the pickled cabbage slaw and teriyaki sauce provide some nice acidity, and the teeny tiny brioche bun is hilarious even if you don’t get the joke." - brant cox

The reviews for this restaurant are all over the place so I recommend trying for yourself at least once. Is it expensive? YES. Could the service be better? YES. But was the food good? Absolutely YES! My chicken was so juicy- it was some of the best I've ever had. And the waffle had great flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness. My daughter was no where near as impressed with her chicken tenders, so keep that in mind. Also, be aware that they don't split checks and they charge a 3% fee if paying with a card. Still worth a visit!

Google
Excellent fried chicken and waffles. I don't really go for anything else but I hear the other food is good too. I sat on the patio for this particular visit and really enjoyed being outside instead of in the main dining room which can get kind of loud at times. That's the only reason why I took on star off of atmosphere. If you want a quieter meal, and the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit outside on the patio.

I’ve been to Roscoe’s in Anaheim several times over the years, and the food is always good. It never disappoints. The chicken and waffles hit the spot every time. On this visit, our server was a little slower than I’d like, but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Always a solid choice when I’m in the area.

Google
The service was terrible. The waiter never introduced his name and had to keep asking for things multiple times. Never wrote down the order and got it wrong! Hair in my Lemonade!! When I asked for a replacement and it off my check, this never happened for me! Terrible atmosphere. Waitstaff and Hostess Rude! I had a horrible time! The food was okay but had to keep sending it back because something was off or wasn’t hot! Horrible!!!!

Google
Delicious. I got the Roscoes original chicken tenders with a waffle. The flavor of each item independently was delicious. But combined, it was incredible. The best chicken and waffles I have ever had. I have a big appetite and this was plenty of food for me. At first I thought I only got half of a waffle but it was because they folded it on top of itself. Realistically, I could have probably split this meal with my wife and still been satisfied. It was a lot of food.

We came here tonight since it’s been a staple in the community and we hadn’t been for a while but decided to go since we were in the mood for chicken and waffles. When we came in, around 8:30 at night, we were immediately met with a huge line of people waiting and some walking out due to the horrible service. We decided to wait and once finally seated, we waited for over 20 minutes before the gal who sat us came to check on us and see if we had been greeted by our server yet, which we hadn’t. Finally someone comes over and we placed our order at 9:06. At 9:45, our drinks had still not come, neither had water been served. Another server came over and said he noticed we had been waiting so he was going to go check on our order. 10 minutes later we got water but still no drinks. 10 minutes later our waiter comes to tell us that they are waiting for our chicken sausage since they ran out and had to open a new package and said he would “try to get it out to us is he can” and then offered if I wanted regular chicken…so because we had already waited so long for our food, I took his advice to get chicken instead of th sausage. At 10:00pm, our eggs showed up and finally our orange juice. Our food came out a while later and guess what? It was the original order and no substitute chicken…but also missing a waffle, but because we had to wait longer for our food, our eggs were cold. My husbands eggs had egg shells in it. The chicken sausage was disgusting, the biscuits is as dry as a dessert, and the waffles were so undone and soggy. Overall such a waste and the service was the worst I’ve ever received. Mostly I want to point out, the blatant racism going on in this place. We and another table were the only white people in this place and both of us were the only once’s who hadn’t been served, hadn’t received drinks for over 40 minutes after ordering. The other tables who were African families all had their food promptly, their drinks filled and refilled and were paying and out the door while the two white tables waited for over an hour for our food and drinks. Imagine this the other way around and a black family was alone in a restaurant filled with white people, the outrage would be hellacious! When we left, we had to track our waiter down for the bill and found that the ticket was put in at 9:35 which was 20 minutes after we placed our order at 9:06 and their excuse was they are behind and short staffed. They had plenty of staff, 3-4 in the kitchen and food runners so they definitely weren’t short staffed. Maybe if they put the orders in immediately, there wouldn’t be these problems. When we went to pay, we asked if you offered a military discount and was told yes however they again didn’t honor it and we paid full price for some absolutely garbage food! There is no reason for this, and I have no idea how this place is so popular because the food is not good, service is beyond poor but worst of all is they don’t honor veterans and the blatant racism going on. Will not be back and will be sharing my experience with everyone I know. The other white family left due to the long wait and lack of service. No excuses for this!

Google
Went in on our last day in Anaheim for brunch and wish we came earlier in the week. The chicken is the best we've had and can't wait to come back. Big shout out & thank you to everyone at Roscoe's! Keep up the amazing work 💪

Google
I ordered the scoe's 1/4 southern style chicken breast with the two waffles and the chicken tenders and waffles. The chicken breast was so juicy and the skin was crisp to perfection. Waffles were delicious with the right amount of butter. I also got a side of mac and cheese with yams. Tasted like my mama was back there making my dinner with love. The only complain is the chicken tenders lacked a bit of flavor and were a little dry. The in house hot sauces were delicious on my chicken. Thanks to the crew that worked that night, you all made a great memorable dinner for us.

Yelp
We decided to go eat at Roscoe's because it was close to our hotel in Anaheim. When we arrived it was a lot of people standing outside waiting to be seated. You have to go inside to get your name put on the waitlist, there's no sign that tells you this. We waited about 30 minutes outside, about 15 after being seated someone came to order drinks and take out food order, another 15 minutes before drinks came, food came about 30 minutes after that..are you catching my drift. The food was really good! No complaints about that! Wait..drinks are non refundable and that's insane! My cousin wanted plastic silverware, it was never brought to her. Honestly, our waitress never came back. After finishing the meal, we waited for the waitress to bring the ticket, she never came back. We eventually went to the take out counter to pay and left. They don't split checks. I feel as if my first time at Roscoe's could've been better, it was really loud and packed inside and out. Granted i'm in town for a conference.

Yelp
I was brought here by a friend. She said it was the best chicken and waffles. I am a fan of chicken and waffles so we had to try it. It is not too far from Disney so if you're staying in the area, you must give it a try. They have their own parking area. I was surprised to see a security guard at the front door but hey, he was nice enough to open up our door. We were promptly sat and provided menus. The menu was pretty simple with your southern items. After ordering, our food came out pretty promptly. I would say like less than five minutes. It gave me time to wash my hands. The chicken thigh, oh my God, it was delicious! The breaded chicken had an amazing taste, and the inside was moist. I tried their sauces which include their original, not too spicy. Louisiana, which has a more vinegar note which I really enjoyed with the chicken, and their spicy, which had a kick to it. I liked mixing the original with the Louisiana. So good! Now for the waffle, it was crispy and thin. It reminded me almost of a churro, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Maybe a hint of minimum in it. They definitely passed the chicken and waffle taste test!

Yelp
I used to like Roscoe's, but main complaint is the employees they hire. It's like they call come from the same place. Not friendly, just robotically doing their job at least they should try to look like they are enjoying the job. So I've decided to patronize someplace else that enjoys my business.

Yelp
Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles - Country Boy Combo Review During my recent visit to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, I ordered the Country Boy combo, which includes three generously sized whole fried wings, two classic waffles, and a hearty bowl of chicken chili served over white rice with optional toppings--cheese, tomato, and onion. The wings were fried to perfection: crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The portion size was substantial and satisfying. The chicken chili added a comforting, savory balance, especially with the fresh toppings. Paired with their signature waffles, the entire meal was rich, soulful, and well-suited for a midday indulgence. This lunch hit all the right notes--excellent preparation, bold flavors, and generous portions. I'd gladly return for another round.

Yelp
I am visiting Los Angeles. We stopped at Roscoe's for breakfast this morning. The restaurant was clean. We were seated right away. Our server, Isaac was very friendly. Our food came really fast and it was very good. The waffles have a hint of cinnamon - very tasty.

Yelp
Haven't been to Roscoe's in years so had to make a special trip. As expected the food was good. Service was timely and responsive. The vibe of the restaurant is "You're here to eat soul food" so that's the feel of the decor as well. Good time overall. Parking is limited but available. There is also patio seating.

Yelp
It was busy but there was no wait. The place was clean. Our waiter Isaac was very friendly and offered to be our photographer. The chicken and waffles were the best. The chicken was fried perfectly and the waffles have a hint of cinnamon. Sides were good except for the mac & cheese, which reminded me of Golden Corral.

Yelp
I can't believe this place only has 3 stars. The food is amazing, I think people only post when something bad happens. I was welcomed with great hospitality, they greeted us saying "hey family" when we walked in the door. It was 10pm and looked like lunch rush hour, but we got sat right away. The waiter was very nice as well, put our orders in quick and food was out even quicker. Very hospitable, very tasty, and very nice staff. 5 stars for sure!!

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been to Roscoe's and I took my 26yo son who have never experienced to eat in here. We stopped by after Universal Studios. I learned that this location has been around since 2014 which btw, we are still waiting for our location in San Diego. My son ordered the omelet and waffle. He was impressed! We took home our leftovers and had it the next day. He's ready to go back since we'll be back in Anaheim next week.

Yelp
Had a friend coming back from Disneyland (we're in San Diego). He offered to hand deliver an herbs special to me. That's love! I was worried that it wouldn't hold up on the drive, but I gotta say it was perfect. They supplied everything as if you were dining in. I just fucking love you guys so much. Literally nothing else compares. I will die on the hill that you're superior to anything. There's chicken & waffles & then there's Roscoe's. They're not the same. Mad loveeeeee

Yelp
My family & I dined here on 07/23/2025. We were the last table in & to eat. The service was wonderful & quick. The food itself was overly greasy & was not the usual standards that Roscoe used to serve but whatever it was all fried food right? We dined here around 9pm. Around 1am our entire group had started developing symptoms of food poisoning. From myself to my young children. My sister even got it. We all had the same symptoms. This is the only place we dined at together that day. I called this restaurant the following morning and reported it to the manager & asked for a refund. He said "no because no else has reported this" which he assumed would discredit my statement. He told me he would give me 50% off next time we dined there. We are not going back to this place. My husband was displeased with his lack of care and then called himself. There was a kind woman by the name Selena that said the manager was "out" and would return our call...time passed and when my husband called like 6hrs later the same woman said "oh the manager is just pulling back up to the restuarant". The manager finally called my husband back at some point and the manager still didn't take accountability and said he "cannot" give me a refund.. Our food poisoning was SO BAD that i reported it to the health department and they are launching an investigation. Be wary when dining here. The management does not take accountability and avoids customers at all costs. They avoided our calls and would put us on "hold" and then hang up. Shady. Literally just wanted a refund for food that made my entire family sick. Not worth the $160

Yelp
After 12 years or so of not eating at this place, I was eager to visit this restaurant since it had been so long. In my personal opinion, Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles is somewhat still a solid restaurant. This location that we visited was clean and the service was quick and friendly, which we all really appreciated. The classic waffles and chicken are as delicious as ever, though I found the chicken to be a little on the salty side this time around. The biggest downside for me was the prices!!! I was surprised to see a Linda's Delight (sweet tea and lemonade) priced at $7, which felt that to be a bit steep. We paid $25 for drinks alone. The biggest let down was the mac and cheese. The recipe has changed drastically from what I remember, and I wasn't a fan of it at all. Honestly, had I known, I wouldn't have even ordered it. It was a waste of money and left me wishing I had went with my first mind and ordered the yams. This was probably my last time visiting any Roscoe's. It seems as if the quality of the food has gone down but the prices have certainly gone up. Had we had a better experience with the food, the increase in prices may not have bothered me as much. The service and atmosphere were good which was definitely a plus but the recipe changes and prices made it less likely to return in the future.

Yelp
We were looking for something that wasn't a "big major chain" like most in the area on a rainy day while in Anaheim and some southern comfort food was the perfect call. We've been to other chicken and waffle places but something about coming to Roscoes, really makes it official. Not the first time, but as a family, this was our first time at this location. The service was good & the staff worked together to keep our refills going. I went with the Deuce Deuce (#22) which includes Mac & cheese, greens, Cornbread & chicken. Seeing how my wife tried to get greedy with the #9 Country Boy, I knew I'd be taking one of her 2 waffles. Kids had the #6 Chicken Tenders & waffles. All the food was good. The one downside was I had to send a waffle back as I needed it to be crispy and not like a tortilla. I need a bit more crisp with my waffle. It wasn't a big deal as a new waffle came out within the next few minutes that was to my liking. Also picked up some hot sauce to go for use at home as it was getting used at the table by the family like syrup!!!

Yelp
Overall solid food Kind service Would go 5 stars but the food is not the best chicken I ever ate but definitely good carpio was our server Ps the mac and cheese is awful
google avatar

Robyn L.

Yelp
My husband and I love this place but it was the first time we got to bring the kids along. They are obsessed with canes and that isn't good chicken. Roscoe's has the best chicken in my mind. I love getting the breast and waffle combo with the coleslaw. I got the boys the three piece tender with waffle but they could have easily shared it. I forgot how big the tenders are. This time they were out of the house sauce which was sad but I understand. My husband loves the hot mustard sauce and they had plenty of that. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent. We came after a day at Disneyland so it was later than normal but still nice.

Yelp
Roscoe's never disappoints & it doesn't matter what location we go to. This Anaheim location is a must stop whenever we are in Anaheim. The staff super friendly. Our food came out at a timely fashion & always tasty.

Yelp
Yummy and filling! The real star was the waffles! They are thin and soft and have a warm cinnamon flavor. Servings are pretty large, my husband and I were able to share a meal and side of mac. The mac and cheese was very wet and a little too on the oily side for me. We ended up draining the top layer of oil before eating it. The flavor was there, super creamy but I would have loved if it was baked or had some sort of additional texture. We got all white meat chicken and the crust was super crisp and well seasoned. The meat however was a little on the dry side and didn't carry much of the flavor. This place is pretty big but it gets busy on the weekend for brunch. We went on a weekend that was short staffed but service was still on point, our server was attentive and support staff also helped whenever needed. Like I said the meal was on the bigger side so paying $28 was reasonable considering if you eat it alone you will likely have some to take home.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that soon as you walk in the place feels muggy and dark, the greeting from the staff is the only thing welcoming in this place. I ate here last year around this same time and I was quickly reminded after receiving my food that I do not have to come back! There's no kids menu which is not good considering a lot of families eat here. The chicken was fried to perfection but the smothered potatoes had absolutely no flavor, the eggs were blah (no seasoning, cheese or anything), the biscuit had no taste either. I ate some of the food simply because I needed to eat in order to take my medication and before I could even leave the place me & my son instantly had to go to the restroom. Maybe I'll try another location in the future but this one just isn't cutting it. Sorry!!

Yelp
The food was OK. It was mediocre. The service was good. We had a really nice server and the ambience was OK. The best thing they had was the chicken and waffles. As far as the fried gizzards they were just OK.
google avatar

Erica A.

Yelp
Still love coming here whenever we get the chance. Was lucky enough to enjoy lunch with my family over the weekend and was immediately seated with no wait . Thank you for great service and as always, amazing food. Till next time.
google avatar

Courtney E.

Yelp
From the low rating I was expecting the food to either be under or overdone or just low quality. So far, it's actually the best breakfast I had in Anaheim. I ordered the three piece tender with a waffle and a biscuit. The waffle was cinnamon-y and crunchy, the tenders were juicy, seasoned, and crispy, and the biscuit was good, but a bit dry. FYI this order was delivered so I can't speak to customer service or the physical condition of the restaurant, but the food alone was very good and worth returning for.
google avatar

Akisha M.

Yelp
We were in town for a conference and to visit Disney Land. Since we are from the East Coast we had to try this. We were seated right away and given our menu. We took a little while to decide but our server was so sweet and patient with us. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was hot, fresh and sweet. Almost doesn't need any syrup. My Mom ordered the chicken wings with potato salad, the potato salad was crazy delicious!!! The drinks were big and delicious (sadly know refills). This place gets 5 stars, if you are near a Roscoe's give it a try.
google avatar

Ryan A.

Yelp
As we walked in the smell was vibrant with wonderful smelling food. The lady who welcomed us in was super nice as well as the servers. I'm surprised this place is only 3 stars because the food was a 5 star experience. The waffle was so amazing I had to steal some of my dads. Eggs were awesome. And to top it off the fried chicken!
google avatar

Roneil S.

Yelp
Just like majority of the folks, this is a pit stop before leaving Disneyland. We've been coming here for years and i always seem to get the same service. Never consistent , wait time is ridiculous, food takes forever to come out as well as the drinks. But when the food does arrive, it usually turns all the negatives into a positive. I just wish this place was consistent on their service being a big staple in the LA area.
google avatar

Vi H.

Yelp
Really cool spot and the inside has a cool, old school and southern feel to it. The food was good, but just food. Waffles were pretty soft and soggy and the chicken was pretty dry. But it's just a personal preference that I like my waffles crispier. Portions are good! Overall not bad!
google avatar

Yelp
My go to location for Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles! Every time I come here, the food never lets me down! Servers have always been nice and friendly, including the host team! I don't eat Roscoe's often but when I am craving it, they never fail to satisfy! The only reason I give it 4/5 stars -- is based on the cleanliness. My last visit, as soon as we were seated, I realized that there was syrup all over the seat of the chair and side. My guess is a kid spilled it and the staff didn't realize but I couldn't help but wonder if they wipe down tables and chairs after a customer leaves. I had to go to the restroom and heavily wipe down the syrup from my pants and jacket. Other than the need for cleanliness, I have nothing but good things to say about Roscoe's!
google avatar

A'Star J.

Yelp
This place was awful! And definitely not worth the price! Mac and cheese was cold, the chicken was dripping oil, no refills, and the waffle was dry!
google avatar

Regine A.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday morning during the holiday season. We arrived a few minutes after opening hours, so it wasn't busy yet. My husband ordered the #6 with chicken tenders and waffle, and coleslaw. I had the #9 which included 3 chicken pieces and 2 waffles. Oh my gosh, the waffle alone is so tasty with butter. I really wanted to try the hot honey sauce with the chicken but they were out. My husband wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders, he said it lacked a lot of flavor for him. My chicken was good on the other hand. It had a lot of flavor :) Ambiance is chill. Not fancy, more homey, casual and welcoming. Definitely would come back to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
My friends and I came here after the Giants and Angels gsme and had a pleasant experience. Server was great. He explained the me you down to the tee and also told us what he would recommend since it was our first time trung . The grits could use to work as it was bland. The smothered gravy over the fried chicken was fantastic! Wish the waffles was crispy and it was soggy.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in the service I received today. The host this was amazing, sitting me down promptly; however, I sat there for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. I had to ask another server who was covering my table before I was helped. My server., Jilynda, apologized for the wait and took my order. I received my meal and realized that my chicken was missing. I again had to wait another five minutes to even find somebody that could help me out with that. They bring the chicken and to my surprise it's undercooked, RAW. To the point of being able to see red juice coming from the chicken. I again asked for my server who never showed up after I waited for about 10 minutes and ended up having go ask for the manager. I explained to the manager what occurred. She said she's gonna take care of my bill and she refunds me for the meal but charges me for the waffle because I ate that. Yes I ate the waffle because I was hungry and I spent most of my time in here waiting on you guys As long as I had to wait, and after having raw chicken, you would think that a manager would just do a full refund. Either way I will not be back!!
google avatar

Regia S.

Yelp
All I can say is they lived up to the hype! The food was so good! Including the grits. I find that grits are hit-or-miss when I order them from a restaurant. The chicken was fried perfectly. Seasoning on point! The only downside is the waiter and other staff members could have been more attentive. There were times where my son and I felt completely ignored. The hostess was good though. She greeted us with a smiling face and answered any questions we had. Oh! They only accept cash for the merch. So if you plan on buying a souvenir (like a t-shirt), bring cash.

Yelp
Let me preface by saying, I am not from SoCal but used to live here for 15 years. I am very familiar with Roscoe's on Pico and the one in Pasadena (both which have closed). I make an effort to eat at Roscoe's whenever I am in town. I went twice this past week, here is my experience. 1st visit: dinner on a Wednesday. Wasn't busy, food came out in a timely manner and it was fresh and crispy. We ordered a Scoe's and a Herb's (gravy on the side) 2nd visit: lunch on a Friday. Busy, busy, busy. It was packed! Note that when Roscoe's gets busy, it can be unapologetically slow. From the time that it took us to get seated, to getting our order taken and receiving our food, it took over an hour. No apologies for the wait to take our order, no apologies for our food taking a while. The quality of food was noticeably different. An observation made by my child. However it was still good. It's Roscoe's. I'd give 4 stars for the food. 3 stars for the service. Lastly, if you've never been to Roscoe's, start with a chicken and waffle and if you want that gravy, get it on the side so your chicken stays crispy as you enjoy everything else.

Yelp
Had the same feel as the Sunset Blvd. location, which I didn't expect from O.C., so pleasantly surprised. We got chicken (of course), waffles, greens, yams, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. Chicken: 10/10 Waffles: 7/10; a little too thick for my taste. They were actually better the next day. Greens: 7/10; nothing special and a little cold Yams: 9/10 Mac and cheese: 8/10; also a little cold Cornbread: 10/10 although not too sweet, so really depends on your preference

Yelp
First time to a Roscoe's! Maybe today I shouldn't have wanted to try it. Based on what we ordered gets the 2 stars. The service was ok, food comes out fast. The breakfast sandwich, the only thing edible was the eggs. The chicken sausage was tough and chewy and the biscuit was dry and the potatoes smothered in gravy was nothing like it looks. I LOVE potatoes and gravy but this gravy was a little off taste. The Country boy was good. The fried chicken wings were fire when I added a tiny bit of salt. I was expecting a Belgium style waffle and got this. Wasn't very flavorful and the syrup wasn't event sweet. So over all this meal gets a 2 because out of the $40 we spent we hardly ate anything. AND yes the decor is very dated it just felt off. Also $5.25 for a glass of hot water and 1 tea bag that costs .15 cents. And bring cash because yes they charge the customer to process the payment OR u can pay a fee and use their ATM. Either way they get extra cash out

I always love coming to Roscoe's! The chicken and waffles are always top notch!! As much as I always want to try something different, I never can lol If you've never been you're missing out. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive even having a lot of other tables to serve. We went pretty early and thankfully beat the crowd. Roscoe's always has me wanting more every time!

Yelp
The famous chicken joint at the Anaheim location. Food was decent. Came out fast, had great taste and was decently priced. Service was a bit tepid. Everyone looked angry to be there and said nothing beyond the bare minimum. If you're really craving chicken and waffles, you could do worse, but don't expect to feel welcome.

Yelp
I ordered the half chicken with biscuits and gravy with buttery grits. The food was amazing as usual, the grits are very good as they are VERY generous with the butter. The gravy is flavorful and hearty and the biscuit is thick yet fluffy. The chicken could be crispier but it's good enough. Our server was quick and attentive during my last visit which isn't the norm, but I wouldn't call the normal service "bad" just a bit lacking compared to others. The restaurant itself is a bit dated but it's clean. Be warned, the soda was $4.50 which is on par with many sit down restaurants but for some reason the unsweetened iced tea was a mind boggling $6.25! Normally it costs the same as a fountain drink. I confirmed with the waiter that it was the correct price because it was so outrageous.

Yelp
Roscoe's just isn't what it used to be. It seems when a "brand" gets a bit too big it loses sight of the hunger it may have once had when first starting out. And hunger is not what this location cures. The chicken tasted like it was under a heat lamp or warmed up. The rice & beans, if one can call it that, wasn't"t rice and beans. It was more like pebbles and oats. I could tell with the first bite something wasn't right because the portion I tasted was cold while the remainder of the food was warm. I'm no Sherlock Holmes but it doesn't take a degree in criminology, which I do have by the way :) to see that the dish was warmed up before being brought out. I post to improve not to bring down reviews in hopes the establishment will see this and take the opportunity to improve. I know it's Roscoe's and not a Michelin rated place but this ain't the Roscoe's I would yearn for on road trips.

Yelp
We waited 30 minutes for food to come out. We were served cold Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich we ordered had a moldy bun. They took another 30 minutes to remake the sandwich. I can't believe this is my first experience at the famous Roscoe's.

Yelp
Roscoe's is one of those places that I look forward to eating at every couple years.... if I lived closer to one, I'd probably be a regular lol. The waffles first of all are to dieeee for! they have a hint of cinnamon and they always come out fresh. Same goes for their chicken- it has a nice fry to it and their hot sauces/ gravy pair perfectly with it!

Yelp
I'm currently dining with my family from Mississippi on 7/8/25 at 7:30 pm just left Disneyland enjoying some good family time. Came here to extend the experience and was seated to rude and very inpatient services. Regardless if occupants are fully ready to order or not. The level of services should be guided by employees interactions and customers appetite and questionable suggestions. I'll pay the gratuity because I'm forced but I'd probably never dine or recommend this establishment to anyone. No water after order was placed and waited 30 mins

Yelp
Decent place They do charge 3% credit card fee The waitress was very average. She did her job, but she was not enthusiastic or energetic. It's OK. Life happens sometimes. The food was brought in five minutes after we ordered it which was very impressive. Food was good, but not great. This is a good place for some nice southern comfort food.

Yelp
We arrived for brunch on Sunday and the wait wasn't bad. We waited about 20 minutes. We were a party of 3 and we were called when our table was ready. By this time, there was more people waiting outside then when we first arrived. We were seated and the hostess was friendly. She gave us the menus and told us our server would be right over. We ordered: One lemonade One sweet tea Two orders of: #13) CAROL C. SPECIAL - 1 succulent breast, 1 delicious waffle One order of: #6) ROSCOE'S ORIGINAL CHICKEN TENDERS - 3 house made tenders, coleslaw, and mac & cheese One side of SMOTHERED POTATOES W/GRAVY One side of CHEF'S POTATO SALAD Our food took about 25 minutes and all the plates were brought out at the same time. My chicken breast was hot, juicy, and the outside was crispy. The inside, although juicy, lacked flavor. My side of potato salad was huge and we didn't end up finishing it. It was pretty basic and nothing to rave about. The smothered potatoes were pretty bland and not really our favorite. The mac and cheese and cole slaw were our favorites and definitely yummy! My sisters chicken tenders were soggy and not crisp. Would've been great if the tenders had been cooked longer and served crispy. The waffles were good, but how hard is it to mess up waffles? Overall, this was a one time experience for us as nothing really left us wanting more. We did appreciate the fast and friendly service. Also, the whole building had a weird unpleasant odor inside. I went to the bathroom and it was very strong here.... Maybe sewer? Total: $125

Yelp
Haven't been here in years so thought I would give it a try. It's the more touristy one and I was worried it would be packed for a late Sunday. There were mixed reviews on here so I just kept an open mind. The servers all seemed just ready to be off work. And I don't normally like to comment on service per se but this was abnormally lower than I had anticipated. We waited forever for our food and In fact, we wanted to order one more item and it took us 15 min alone to track down our server. There was never a smile but only and a simple quiet "ok". I know it's a tough business but I wasn't sure if I should be angry or sad for the guy who seemed forced to work. But nonetheless, we ordered the typical chicken and waffles. The chicken--still waiting for our food or server......told my family to ration their drinks. Well, you know.... Ok-chicken arrived and was tasteless for the most part but the syrup that accompanied the waffle made it edible. The chicken breast wasn't too bad but the legs and thighs were overcooked. Waffle- hard as a rock. I was shocked. It was almost like eating a stale wafer. Such a letdown as I remember this place being so much better when I was younger. Seriously the Holiday Inn do it yourself waffle for breakfast taste better. Ouch. Chili cheese fries with chicken actually wasn't bad, however there were bones still in the chicken so beware. But it was definitely the best thing we tried. The chili was actually pretty tasty so at least that was a win. It took about 50 min to get our food and we saw the server 3 times and one of those times were because we had to flag him down to add to our order (regrettably in retrospect). He was nice but emotionless. The bathroom was disarray and gross. I hope this place gets back into shape but can't say I will be trying again anytime soon.

Yelp
Great service and i highly recommend the chicken sausage, 2 eggs and waffles breakfast. Pair it with the fresh squeezed orange juice and your good to go for the day.

Yelp
Always love Roscoe's. Chicken is always on point. Best waffles around. An iconic staple! The Anaheim location is probably the largest of the Roscoe's. Easy to park and get in and out. Depending on what time you go the wait isn't bad if there is a wait at all. Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Yelp
We were seated rather quickly ,however we waited a long time for our waiter to take our order. It was definitely worth the wait ! The waffle was soft and flavorful with a hint of cinnamon. The chicken thigh was seasoned well, tender and moist . Looking forward to dine here again !
