Where To Eat In The Middle Of The Day In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"Like Ten Belles, Rose Bakery has a couple of locations where you can linger over some sandwiches, quiches and tarts, seasonal salads, and desserts. The outposts at the Musée de la Vie Romantique and BNF Richelieu are two of the best-sit down options—both have plenty of room indoors with enough space for kids and strollers, as well as lovely outdoor areas that are open year-round." - sophie friedman

It has been several years I use the BNF as my office since I am a researcher in social sciences. I always did not like this café place because of bad service and high prices. But somehow I needed to consume on site to avoid going through the security check point at the exit and entry. This time it is about their policy to prohib consumers, clients paying more money then other places, to use their computer. The young manager says she knows the law in France but she does not. Commercially there is a symbolic deal between vendors and buyers but there is no law that allow a manager or an onwer to prohib anything! Then: prices are so high for the quality it is anoying, and after looking around I see that it comes from the brand, and their way of human management, the team on site is pretty bad for service. A secret? Yes, do not give money to this brand.

This is the best secret in Paris. Take a date or friend here to show them you have culture and are cool. Check out the exhibits, walk around the parameter of the library and then take lunch at this wonderful bakery with lovely staff and fresh, delicious food. A+

Over €10 for an omelette sandwich where i can’t tell whether it’s just cold and bad or has actually gone off.

Had a great time visiting the cafe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was well prepared and tasty, and vegetarian options were always available. Finish it off with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and you're good to continue exploring Paris.
