The 26 Best Things to Do in Los Angeles

"Rose Bowl Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of every month in the parking lot of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, a historic athletic stadium built in 1922. The flea market is a behemoth, the biggest on the West Coast, with approximately 2,500 vendors serving 20,000 visitors each month. It has a little bit of everything, but it's best known for its selection of mid-century modern furniture and vintage clothing. It's best to go with a few things in mind (a coffee table, or a few t-shirts) and a budget. Wear comfortable shoes, bring snacks, and make sure to get cash before going." - Maxwell Williams

"The Largest West Coast Flea Market On the second Sunday of every month, bargain hunters, collectors, designers, tourists, and other curious shoppers head to the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, where 2,500 vendors of furniture, accessories, clothes, crafts, vinyl, and more line the perimeter of this 92,000+ seat venue. The sheer size may be overwhelming, the sun may be beating, and it may be early in the morning—but if you come prepared in sneakers, a hat, and with coffee in hand, you'll be ready to hunt for treasure."

"The now classic Rose Bowl Flea attracts visitors from all over the world, so expect to compete with some serious shoppers. There’s a sprawling setup of antiques, housewares, and piles and piles of clothes to rummage through. Haggling is part of the deal. (And wear comfortable shoes.)"

Went to the Club World Cup game, PSG Vs ATM, it was HOT, sucks that the Rose Bowl doesn't have some sort of cover but it's alright. Nice stadium, feels a little tight but I like it.

There are so many cool vendors, from antiques to handmade crafts. I'm on the hunt for some unique treasures. Hopefully, I can find something special for my apartment 🏠. It's always an adventure digging through all the goodies. #marketfinds #DIY #antiques

Google
Hot day at 96* but definitely worth exploring the market. The map can be tough to navigate but if you’re in the mood to hunt for a hidden gem this is your place! Note you have to buy tickets online.

Google
A nearly overwhelming (in a good way) number of vendors. Whatever you need, you will find here. While expansive, the vendors are well organized and discovering the perfect fit for your specifically shaped need is rather easily accomplished here. With that said - $8.50 for a 20 oz iced tea is flat out robbery. Come prepared to spend more on refreshments than on home goods.

Google
If you enjoy flea markets, this is the pinnacle of all flea markets. One suggestion, come early and find the first parking spot you can. Do not bother to try and park closer to the rose bowl, you will just be wasting your time. It gets super busy and incredibly hectic. Overall though you will find just about anything, one of the biggest flea markets ever.

Jeff E.

Google
This was my first time coming to the flea market and I was incredibly impressed with it. The admission prices are reasonable they don't charge for parking. But be ready to do a lot of walking this place is huge. I also recommend that you get there early between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning there will be plenty of parking after that it turns into a zoo.

Google
My wife and I visited expecting the kind of great deals we’re used to finding at local swap meets in Ontario, Fontana, and Riverside. We assumed “swap meet” and “flea market” meant the same thing—but we quickly realized that wasn’t the case here. The Rose Bowl Flea Market is definitely more upscale and priced accordingly. If you’re looking for curated, vintage, or collectible items—and don’t mind paying premium prices—this might be your spot. But for those used to budget-friendly, community-based swap meets, it can be a letdown. We were surprised by how expensive the food and merchandise were, and ended up skipping lunch altogether. Despite the large selection, we left with only a few items. Unfortunately, this just isn’t the kind of market that fits what we’re looking for, so we won’t be returning.

Yelp
Paid the $20.00 to get in at 5 a.m. absolutely not worth it. There wasn't a single vendor that was set up. It was 6:30 before a handful of vendors were ready to sell. Mostly used clothing...when I say mostly I mean about 70 % of sellers. Food is very expensive. Years ago you could find extraordinary stuff, now it's just not worth it. It may be better after about 9 when all sellers are ready for business. But definitely not worth $20.00 for early bird.

Yelp
This was my first time attending the flea market and it was surprisingly very nice. They have so many vendors that sold vintage and new modern stuff. Big assortment of items from clothing to household plants, etc. The service was good and the value of items was proper. Some items were a bit pricey, but overall respectable prices. Great selections of food options, drinks, and alcohol. I loved it. The price to get in is worth it due to the ample of vendors. Plenty of free parking. Note: Have to purchase entry tickets online.

Yelp
That once a month that every Angelenos waits for. Second Sunday of each month and we're ready to search our way through piles of clothes for the deal. They're open pretty early if your in searches of that special piece of furniture and so on. First of the bunch before the crowds arrives. There's plenty of parking. Tickets are now purchased online before entering and scanned one phones. Tons and tons of vendors selling furniture, plants, clothes, homewares and so on. I'm sure whatever true looking for, you end up finishing it at one of the stalls. Prices have seemed to go up from before as does everything. Some vendors you still able to get deals. As such as one stall where everything was 6.00. Just have to search and walk up and down. Layout is quite nice, the main circles along the bowl tends to be a mixtures of vendors. Then you have the home section/ furniture and so on. The collectibles, antique and so on. Across the bridge to other side is where majority of the clothes are. Everything your heart desire walking up and down and finding your treasure. Some vendors will haggle with you while others has a set price for everything. There are food and drinks booth scattered. Drinks are a bit pricey, almost 20.00 for a beer including tip. Food wise, your norm snacks. Nice outing if your into searching for the one of a kind piece and don't mind going through racks and racks of clothes.

Yelp
If you want to visit a good flea market, make sure that this is one of them. It's the second Sunday of every month rain or shine. You can definitely get your steps in the Rose Bowl is huge and you have all kinds of vendors from veggies and fruits to vintage household items to brand new items. You have your mom and pop shops starting off here. They have two different timeslots. I always recommend you get the early bird if you're trying to find some very treasure or if you're trying to avoid that heat and better parking. They have food area for you to buy some great eats or you can grab a hot chocolate or coffee or a hot day. You can grab a nice cold beer. It is dog friendly, but it does have to be a service animal. It's for kids. I recommend it to anyone also handicap accessible.

Yelp
I went to this last in 2002. Back then it was 95% vintage and antique and you could find really cool stuff. I went today 20 years later and it's terrible. It's at least 50% new items and then 40% vintage clothing and 10% actual cool vintage vendors. I arrived with $800 cash and only purchased $50 of items from one vendor. Save your time and visit smaller true vintage markets. I also witnessed 2 vendors being very rude to customers. Unreal!
google avatar

Kathy Z.

Yelp
I love the Rose Bowl Flea Market because I enjoy walking through the aisles and checking out all of the vintage finds. This is THE place to find everything from vintage collectibles to vintage shirts to homemade crafts to accessories to pet stuff to rugs to lamps to furniture and much more. I've seen people bring huge wagons and dollies - if you think you'll want to haul something hefty home, come prepared like they do. It typically takes me a couple of hours to get through each and every booth in every corner of the lot. This market spans the entire parking area, plus the loop around the bowl. It's huge and starts before dawn - plan accordingly for a great time. I'm not usually a shopper, unless I come across some fun crafts or cute cat stuff. I've supported all of the candle vendors at some point or another - LOL! - and also some of the stone and pottery booths. When it comes to the vintage wear, I don't usually partake... but I know a treasure cove when I see one. This place is the Mecca for all things vintage, and it is a huuuuuge draw every month on the second Sunday. Bring food/water, it's not cheap or that good here. There's a few food options like chicken teriyaki bowls which are also made by the booth that produces sweet or savory crepes. And the prices are outrageous for the quality. Eat first or after for best results! Parking is free or paid, depending on where you'd like to be. It gets hot in the summer and quite windy in the fall. This is a rain or shine event.

Yelp
Huge flea market that mostly sells clothes items, but there are other shops with furniture, jewelry, artisan products, and more. There are also some scattered food stations across the shops. You have to pay for entry, which is around $13. The area is huge and the maps aren't super helpful to find specific things. I was a little surprised by the prices - for a flea market, items were priced high at an average price of $30+. Either way, would probably go back when it's cooler out and I have a better idea of what I'm looking for

Yelp
Been a few years since my last RB Flea Market visit and wow has it changed. Gone are the days of cool hunting and rare finds. Now more of a swap meet vibe, after a few hours of perusing clothes, some second hand furniture and a section of new items, I left with a bunch of fresh eucalyptus. As far as the food, shockingly limited and clearly regulated by the same culinary team. Enjoyed a few tacos and went on my way. Thinking my days at the RB Flea Market are numbered. Fun to take a stroll down memory lane but times have certainly changed. Unfortunately, bigger is not always better.

Yelp
This is definitely the kind of flea market you need to be well-prepared to attend! If you don't know what you're looking for, it can be overwhelming. If you're the kind of person who is looking for the best finds, it's probably going to be worth it to spring for the $20 ticket and get there at 5am (yes, 5am!!) to get what you're looking for. If you're more day looking for a nice way to spend the day and get your steps in, getting there for the 9am-3pm slot will be just fine. Although, be warned, this is not a relaxing walk in the park! It spans a fairly large area and is very crowded. Definitely be sure to grab a map on your way in - I forgot to and I regretted it. We had no idea where we were going most of the time and I wish we had been more intentional about skipping some of the areas with items we weren't interested in, they have a huge selection so it's easy to get lost in it all.
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
If like me you were hoping it would be full of curated dealers like Alameda, skip it! It's just a swap meet. Junk tables and Goodwill furniture for miles.
google avatar

Eleonora F.

Yelp
I like to bring my daughter and her friends every now and then, but it's so overpriced! Particularly most of the section around the stadium! The absolute worst part though is the food, so if you plan on having a quick bite there be ready to spend quite a bit of money for a crappy meal! There's basically nothing under $18 and it's $8.5 for a lemonade or iced tea. So basically for $30 each we ended up sitting in the shade on the floor outside the women's bathroom because the 5 tables were already taken and the remaining area was in the scorching sun. Was pretty offensive.
google avatar

Renee D.

Yelp
Holy Doodle! What an experience! First - Get your tickets in advance. It's a cluster F to try and pay cash at the window AND it's $2 more expensive than buying online! Obviously the term Cash is King is reserved for the vendors. Also, before you go, note this: Wear comfortable walking shoes. We parked A MILE away from the entrance! If you are freaked out by crowds, this isn't your scene. Walking up I felt like we were going to attend Woodstock 3.0 It really has a festival vibe. Dress in layers, it was cold, then hot, hat and sunglasses and cross body tote will help you navigate the masses. There are so many vendors taking up the west parking lot. So not only will you lap around the outside of the Rose Bowl, but there are rows in entire west parking lot full of vintage items and antiques. People watching is A++, there are folks from everywhere vending and shopping... observing is just as much of a fun sport for the day as is the treasure hunting. Truly a great time. As far as refreshments, BYO I wanted a Kombucha or a fresh juice, the concession vendors are surprisingly limited. Water, sugar drinks and booze were the only options. There's an opportunity here for a fresh juice / kombucha vendor to make bank. Truly and adventure for the senses.

Yelp
Fun! worth going at least once, lots of cool things to be found here! bring comfortable shoes and stuff to carry your treasures in. it is way way way bigger then you think

Yelp
My daughter has been wanting to attend this flea market. This past Sunday (07/10) we did, make sure you set aside 3-5 hours, no joke. For starters, depending on the time of year, it can get HOT! It was mid 90's when we went, so bring water, sun screen, and a hat. I saw several people with an umbrella, which is not my style, but I would have used one if it was in my bag of tricks. You will find it to be a large swap meet with new and used goods. The area is sprawling and not super organized by items from what I can tell, like clothes, new items, furniture, jewelry, food, and miscellaneous. it is a true treasure hunt. In my opinion, if you have never been this is worth going. Parking can be challenge, but there are FREE options, you will just need to walk a distance, and entrance costs $12 if you pre buy on line. You will get a lot of steps in and they do have food and drinks but bring water and sunscreen.

Yelp
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there. Both times I came were on very hot days. The amount of vendors you can find here is incredible. Inside you can find a map of how the market organizes its many different sellers. The admission for my girlfriend and I is around $25. There is just so much selection overall I think as a buyer you're bound to find something you fancy. It's kind of overwhelming lol. On both visits we only spent just under 2 hours browsing, chatting with vendors, and other shoppers but cut the haul short for two reasons. 1. the sun was very pressing and 2. my girlfriend and I found such good merch in such a short span of time that suited our budget and wants for a fun Sunday run at the flea. If I had to guess, we have only stopped at 15% of the vendor set ups which I think says a lot about how big this market is. I look forward to coming more and spending more time looking around on days that aren't so hot. Overall I think this is one of the most fun and engaging ways to shop for intricate goods and rare finds. Many of the vendors are nice and friendly people and can bargain pretty well!

Yelp
The Rose Bowl Swap Meet he's been around for years. It's changed over the years but still fun to check out once a month. The inside ring has several vendors selling mainly new items. Everything from homemade to gems, jewelry, hats, Knick knacks and more! There are plenty of food vendors and an area with tables and several food options. The outside area has vendors selling used items mainly. Everything from art, furniture, jewelry, clothing, tools, kitchen appliances, kitchen items, dishes, pet items, guitars, musical instruments and so much more! There are a ton of items to look at and choose from. You can spend as much or as little time here as you choose. Definitely buy your tickets online to save time!

Yelp
What a disaster this has become--and it isn't because they don't have enough staff working; There are LOADS of people working but they cannot answer basic questions re logistics like where do I move my car (thru long lines of traffic in many directions!!) in order to pick up my heavy item purchase. The lack of planning for this is insulting & honestly insane. They've moved ALL purchase pick ups over the west direction bridge to area K--something I only discovered after 25 minutes of traffic & yelling out to traffic facilitators asking where I could get to where I needed to be. The vast majority of furniture/rug purchases are done on the east side of the market, closer to the venue entrance. I bought a heavy 1930s outdoor chair on the eastern fence edge of the market & the vendor told me to pull outside the fence & he would bring the chair to the exit in the middle of that wall--a fire exit. The mgrs of the market have literally taken away ALL ABILITIES for you to pick up a purchase on that side of the HUGE venue. My vendor thought I could pull up closer, and I tell you that it took me SO LONG in such LONG LINES of traffic to realize this is not the case. NO SIGNS TO HELP FACILITATE PICK UPS. NO RUNNERS TO HELP VENDORS NOT HAVE TO LEAVE THEIR "SHOPS" FOR LONG AMTS OF TIME TO MOVE ITEMS. UGH. NO THANKS.

Yelp
We have been going for so many years. While it is a great place for shopping for unique items, seems that the people running the show is out for a money grab. Prices for EVERYTHING related to R. G. CANNING (the show host) has gone up... and I mean by a lot! Entry is up 20% to $12 (after 9am entry), free parking area was cut by 50% an paid parking was put in its place. The least expensive parking now is $10 (cash) unless you arrive SUPER early. Due to parking, the traffic is a complete cluster "F"! We arrived @ 9 and it took 35 minutes to get paid parking. We departed @ 12:45 and traffic was not any better. If you want food, get ready to drop some $$$$$$. Bottled soda is $6.50, bacon hot dog is $15.00, 3 tacos is $15.00, large bag of popcorn $15.00, chicken teriyaki bowl is $15.00, and so on. If u want a beer or something stronger, it is available, but get ready to pay pro football stadium prices! Let's just say that it is the lowest of the quality with premium prices. This used to be a fun inexpensive way to spend a casual second Sunday of the month. The inexpensive part is LONG gone.
google avatar

Kelli L.

Yelp
The Rose Bowl is one of my favorite places to shop! They have a variety of items~ Everything from home decor, furniture, trinkets, clothes, handmade products, accessories, cookware, electronics, and more! They have a very large clothing section. There's about over hundreds of booths where you can find new and used clothing items. I was able to find a really nice dress that I have wanted for a while and was happy to find it here. I got the dress for $10! They have some booths where they sell all clothes for $10 or $15. If you are looked for vintage T-shirts and jackets they have plenty of booths that sell that. Most of the time the Rose Bowl is pretty hot outside so I would recommend wearing a hat and bring a couple of tote bags so you can carry your items with you. My only complaint is that it can be kind of expensive if you go every month. The tickets used to be a lot cheaper. I bought 2 tickets online and it ended up being $25 because you have to pay a service fee on top. hopefully they don't increase their prices.
google avatar

Yelp
The levels of greed at this market are phenomenal. They decided to only make entry cash, free entry price now is $20 plus taxes there's no option to use your card. Of course it's always difficult if you're close to the Rose Bowl to get Internet connection, but what's even more irritating is pain for early admission and for some bizarre reason they continue to let vehicles drive in up to 9 o'clock in the morning what is the point of paying for early admission if all the vendors are not set up or even in the Rose Bowl the other thing personally I don't do a lot of marijuana. I'm not into hip-hop. I'm not into 80s or 90s or present day clothing now the whole vintage section is huge smoke fest with 80s and 90s crap and marijuana smoke blinding everyone last Rose Bowl for me today it's just not worded anymore. This used to be the best market in the world now it's not even close to being the best market in Los Angeles greed, greed here from the people who put it on.

Yelp
Finally visited this place and I'll def be a regular in the future! We arrived around 12:30pm and it was fairly crowded but not chaotic. This place is HUGE. We probably saw 1/4 of the whole thing after two and a half hours. Some of the booths here have a hipster modern vibe, while others are more retro and vintage. I was surprised at how tidy and well organized most booths are, given it's a flea market. They really have EVERYTHING. Think of a random object and I'm sure you'll find it here. Lots of people came with trolleys and wagons to carry all the goodies they score. What I found interesting is the pricing. A giant beautiful terracotta floor case I assumed to be at least $300 was selling for $20. A rusty looking metal figurine I would buy for $50 was selling for $1000. So you never know until you talk to the vendor haha. They had a few food tents scattered around but they all seemed super pricey.

Jake J.

Yelp
This flea market is the real deal. You can find anything imaginable here, from vintage clothes, toys, vinyl records, local art, and everything in between. I persevered on a rainy Sunday, and it was worth every second. I spoke with several different vendors, and was able to find and negotiate some great deals as well. You could easily spend four hours here if you take your time with it. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming! I didn't get in early, but still found some great finds into the later afternoon. Personally I wasn't super interested in the vintage clothes, but that seemed to be a majority of the vendors here. $12 - $20 entry into the flea (depending on the time of day) may be a bit much for some, but ultimately I didn't mind. Mobile ticketing was the only option to get in, but it was quick and easy.

Yelp
Finally I went to the rose bowl flea market after living in Pasadena for 8 years. If you are planning what to do on weekend (Sunday), this is definitely a good place to spend time. If you're looking to buy something, this is definitely where you can find lots good stuff. Too many different kind sellers. They do have food vendors but not a lot. We brought our own breakfast and drinks. The whole market is huge huge huge. If you gonna buy something, make sure you bring a cart or something on wheels so you don't need carry. We use pet stroller to hang the plants we bought. It's really fun! Must visit!

Yelp
Came here on what we thought would be a cooler day (it didn't feel like it), the second Sunday of September before noon. There was free parking, a huge grass lot and street parking. I think it helped that we came later in the day. Be prepared to be in the Sun a lot, there's some shade but mostly not! I came without a ton of expectations, just wanted to go for fun, but ended up leaving with a good amount of items! Pretty much stayed in the white area of the map the entire time (vintage clothing & collectibles). There were way too many vendors to see and we got tired and hot, but I was able to snag a dress, bodysuit, slip, and a pair of old Patagonia shorts. The vendors I bought from were nice and friendly, some gave me the discounted I asked for and some gave me a discount up front. The entry fee is like $12 or something and I have way too many clothes already. But I loved the experience and the things to see, would probably come again but only for special occasions (looking for specific item, etc.)
google avatar

Dalia K.

Yelp
MASSIVE market. Please be prepared to not see even a quarter of it. The inside of the stadium is mostly vendors -- small jewlers, upcycled clothes and home decor, etc. The outside is more flea-markety with antiques and furniture vendors. Eat well and bring snacks, wear sunscreen, and bring water as it is easy to get tired and overwhelmed. Tickets have to be purchased in advance!
google avatar

Dave H.

Yelp
Grand daddy of flea markets once a month. They have about everything and lots of antiques and plenty of food trucks and options. Make sure to bring a hat or sunscreen as it can get hot out there. Plenty of parking around rose bowl.
google avatar

Leland S.

Yelp
My partner told me about this spot and I finally had the spot to check it out. AMBIANCE: Parking | Plenty of parking! However it's a poppin spot. There's stadium parking or park afar in the neighborhood Feels| The Rose Bowl Stadium is surrounded by many houses so it has a clean pleasant charm. Rose Bowl stadium has a lot of history so it's a great gem to even be around. It's a classic stadium vibe - grandiose and historic. Great place for some thrift shopping or a local date. VENDORS TOO MANY to keep count of! You have clothing shops, pins, hats, carpet, music, candles, plants and art! The food court is relatively simple with about 6-8 vendors. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Generally friendly people from the parking ushers to the vendors. TL;DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. This is a great place! Plenty vendors from antiques, plants, and food. It's a great local flavor if you're visiting Pasadena. Looking forward to come back here again. ADVICE: * Come early to beat traffic BUT you will have to pay a little extra. * Be mindful of the weather so bring a breather or be prepared to stay cool for those hot seasons!

Yelp
Growing up I had never been to the Rose Bowl Flea Market until this past weekend. My folks had hoped to go one day before moving to the east coast, but that never worked out. When a friend of mine invited me to go with her this past Sunday, I thought it would be a great chance to cross a prominent market off my bucket list of SoCal things to see. As the name indicates, it is in the Rose Bowl Stadium every second Sunday of the month. Booths are inside the fenced area on the outside of the stadium seating and spills to the left side areas on both sides of the canal. You can either choose free parking or if you want a closer spot, pay to do preferred parking. My friend and I found a great spot next to the exit for the vintage clothing area of the market and chose to park there as it was free and a short walk. In times of the pandemic, you must buy your tickets via Evitebrite in advance. Depending on the time you go, the price changes. If you're someone who is hunting for something special or rare, go early. My friend and I wanted to look for fun so we went when it was 9-3:30, which is $12 per person. There are maps to show where you can find specific items. The outer ring around the stadium is new stock merchandise and some vintage or retro items. The area to the left of the stadium before the canal bridges is antiques and the area beyond the canal bridges is usually clothing. There's something for everyone here, whether you're looking for jewelry, clothes, antique items, or plants. Most of the vendors are offering multiple forms of payment from cash, card, and digital payments like Venmo. My friend was looking for vintage dresses and jewelry and found some nice rings and earrings for under $25. I didn't buy anything, but enjoyed seeing the variety of items and sellers. It was hot out, so I suggest bringing water, wearing a hat, and if you have a fan or some kind of UV umbrella, consider bringing it. Because it was summer and a high of 91 degrees, it got very warm walking around and there was minimal wind that day to cool us off. (Granted if you go earlier, you likely won't have that issue or if you go another time of the year, the heat shouldn't be an issue.) It's definitely something you should visit at least once.

Yelp
Lots and lots of vendors, but a lot of the same things. Way less antiques than expected, and it felt like most sellers were just selling their junk. I am not sure I would return.

Yelp
Lived in LA for 7 years and finally went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market! Honestly it's so huge it's overwhelming, haha. I did find a couple of inexpensive vintage jackets that look great! There's so much here you'll have to go more than once (and I recommend going with some sort of plan or idea of what you're looking for, unless you want to simply people watch). Like any flea market, if you're willing to search you can find some gems!

Yelp
The Rose Flea Market is ridiculously overrated. I arrived at 5:30 AM for early bird admission, but barely any booths were set up. I walked around aimlessly in the dark hoping to score some goodies, but to no avail. Most of the booths were good to go by 7:30 AM, but some vendors had just arrived. The items for sale were junky and felt like a swap meet. The midcentury furniture all seemed like reproductions. The only good thing is the fact that the clothing is separate from the antiques and collectables. There are way better antique fairs in California than this event. Waste of time and effort.

Yelp
This flea market is huge. You can easily spend a few hours browsing each vendor. It's pretty organized and easy to navigate. The last time I visited was at least 5 years ago and not too much has changed. Even though I stopped by a lot of shops, there were only a few with unique, high quality items. You can find a lot of the items they're selling at your local Goodwill. Make sure to bring cash, water and snacks.

Yelp
Good amount of items! Lots to look at for everyone! Cool vintage cameras , toys and collectibles! Love that the flea market is separated by items. Clothes are in one whole section and then there's antique and vintage stuff and then there's new items and plants all in another section. Wear comfy shoes and sunscreen!

Yelp
Have been going to RB Flea Market since the very first one way back when! The last couple of years it has been a huge disappointment. I was overwhelmed with the amount of used clothing sold.... replacing all the treasures we used to find! The ticket prices have gotten crazy. Took a friend who had never been and it was embarrassing. Majority of merchandise seemed like garage sale items... definitely not the same fun vibe of the past. Very sad.

Yelp
A great place to check out if you're into supporting small businesses and shopping local. A heads up: not everything is your typical "flea market" find, this place gets fancy! You can find pretty much anything your heart desires here, plus TONS of food options. Held every second Sunday in the Rose Bowl Stadium, there is plenty of parking, BUT plenty of walking as well, so heads up!

Yelp
Paid $12 for tickets online. Vintage section is where it's at. They have pretty fun decor selections and furniture pieces for sale. The new merchandise section is a bit of a chaos. Some vendors sell super cheap items, and some sell $150 dresses. Take your time to explore, the place is massive. Bring drinks and wear comfortable shoes.

Yelp
The Rose Bowl is gigantic so be prepared to spend the full day + wear comfortable shoes. We also might bring a cart or something next time because it gets really tiring carrying everything around and we couldn't drop at our car because it was very far. Parking is free but if you get there later in the day it can be a little confusing to navigate. I've also been to Rose Bowl a handful of times but January was the first time I'd been in a few years and I was a little shocked by how expensive some of the vendors were. There are def still vendors that are reasonably priced but you have to dig a little bit more than I remember. So, I'd recommend not just buying the first thing you see but hunt around and price compare because there's a lot of overlap (esp with clothing) between vendors. Overall, we found some really cute vintage clothes and vintage art but mostly the furniture and rugs were out of our range price wise. A lot of it was in mint condition and very unique but I think I just experienced some sticker shock. Now that I have a better idea of what to expect, I'll be back with a more realistic budget lol! Also, eat before you arrive. The food wasn't great.

Yelp
Pretty decent place. I probably would go back just to check it out again. Paid a little extra to get in early which was worth the no-line entrance. Spent most of my time in the vintage area. Just by the fact of vintage, most stuff was like for 00 sizes but it still was a good experience. You can still find $200 vintage men's shirts and 'pay by the pound' clothing for six bucks (which I don't really get but that's just me). Kinda smelled like mothballs and weed all day but whatever. It still was an experience.

Yelp
What a fun but super hot day, we arrived about 11 and left around 2. I got lucky with free parking in their lot on the lawn. My gf and I bought 3 singing bowls ($40-55/each) I got my color Aura card read ($40), & had 3 drinks: Iced coffee milk tea with boba ($8), aguas frescos ($8), & Italian shaved ice ($7). Most vendors allow you to Venmo them or use credit card & then some preferred cash. I also bought a hat ($15) on my way out in case I go check out a different one. Dress lightly, comfortable shoes, bring your own shopping bag/purse, and maybe ice water with you, shades & hat are necessary. Some vendors were charging way more then expected, I.e. $80 for swimsuit no tan lines or $90 for a bag I might use one time. Highly recommend going early hours so it will be much cooler.

Yelp
What a nice Sunday funday this was. So first, make sure you get your tickets online price is about $12 per person but i guarantee this place has something for everyone! I'm not really into vintage things but I was able to get myself some modern jewelry for cheap! It was a lot of walking so bring comfy shoes needless to say I got my much neeeed steps in! And I didn't really feel it! Tons of plants for decorating different variety and loads of things to do! Food vendors are also there in case you get hungry! Oh and opt for that fresh kettle corn, you won't regret that purchase also, this even is literally once a month so make sure you check the site for the exact dates

Yelp
So many items available. Walk around, explore, and find some great deals. Most vendors have the prices posted. BRING CASH, not all places accept card. ATMs are available with high surcharges. They allow people to bring carts in so that you can load up as you go. I've been told that if you purchase a large item, they have a system where you can drive your car around to a pick up zone where your item will be waiting. Hours: 9am-3pm Unless you purchase the early access ticket where you can get in at 5am. Tickets: Must be purchased online Two options. The $12 ticket is for general admission starting at 9am. The $20 ticket is for those enthusiasts that want to get in at 5am. Parking: FREE!!! It's pretty much a 'drive around until you find a spot' situation. If the lot is full then cars park along the side street. Regardless of where you park, you walk to the front gate to get your ticket scanned and enter. Bathrooms: Plenty around. Not port-a-pottys. Actual bathrooms. The same ones used for Rose Bowl events. Food: There is a food court area right by the main entrance with things like tacos, burgers, hot dogs, lemonades, milk teas, etc. Drinks: Plenty of drink options located throughout, not just at the food court. I also saw a tented area for alcoholic drinks. Desserts: I saw Italian ice and shaved ice trucks. (I went during the scorching summer months) Outside Food and Drinks: I brought a backpack with water bottles inside. My backpack was not checked so I'm sure you can bring in food. You do go through a metal detector. Rose Bowl: You won't be able to get into the actual bowl. It is blocked off by a gate as well as dumpsters along that locked gate. The flea market is located around the Rose Bowl's outer area and parking lot. Tips: Bring Cash. Wear Sneakers. Wear a hat.

Yelp
This was my first time to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. It was pretty cool. However it had rained all through the night before so they had only 1/3 of the vendors there so I was told. Lots of neat and unique items. Clothing and nick nacks and such. I would love to go back and hopefully a full vendor list will be there.

Yelp
This is the most epic, massive flea market I have ever attended! Make sure to bring good walking shoes, water and a hat. Parking is free and there are plenty of clean bathrooms. I recommend going earlier in the morning, as there is limited shade and the sun can be brutal.

Yelp
One of the largest gathering of U-haul trucks from across the country happens the second weekend each month at the historical Rose Bowl, Pasadena. Here are a few tips, perhaps learned the hard way, for you treasure hunters out there. 1. Bring cash. Imagine you've time traveled to the medieval time and only gold is acceptable currency. Some vendors may allow you to use plastic, however, they might be more willing to negotiate the price if cash is rendered. It also helps you to stay on budget, once you are out of money, it is time to go. 2. Bring a shopping cart of sorts, stroller, rolling basket, suitcase, etc. Otherwise, be prepared to carry everything you purchase. And trust me, there will be temptations. 3. Don't worry too much about parking a bit further from the entrance. There is only one designated entrance, because that is where the admission tickets are offered. One may exit from a number of spots, and one of them will be near your carriage. 4. Wear layers. Flea markets typically starts at 7am, and go just beyond 2pm. What might appear to be a chilly gloomy day, may turn into something toasty rather quickly without prior notice. You would wish that you had the tank top or under shirt with you. 5. Wear comfy shoes. Major walking activity will occur. 6. If you decided to purchase a whole 5 piece dining set, make sure you have enough friends with you to carry them. 7. Art work, which is abundant and plenty, can vary in their quality. Keened eyes and fine tastes recommended. 8. You can haggle the price. Yes, the tags are just a recommendation. The final deal should never be made without the entertaining negotiation process. 9. Grab a cup of coffee and have fun! All in all, this would be quite an awesome place if you can have an open mind and an open heart, and antique yourself into some one of a kind collectables.

Yelp
I had an absolutely 'almost perfect' lovely day on Sunday April 11th. Arrive early to beat the lines. Social distancing was NOT enforced at all. My absolute complaint is that there was NO water to be found. I had been there 9am to 3pm. The only source of concessions available was in the food court which had lines like Disneyland. And vendors selling out of food. By that point I was bordering dehydration. Shame on RG Canning. No 'gift' was given upon entry as usual. The responsible reaction to taking care of your 'required masked' guests is to at least provide them with access to water!! There should be 'water' vendors every 100' or so at a small stand like they have at any 'destination' tourist attraction. At least until all pandemic rules are lifted and normal leased space operations return. BYOW!!!

Yelp
It's was ok, unorganized, i know it was the first day, but get it together.. i only went for 1 vendor "mussels and pearls" best of course! Tried other places and they weren't up to par! Tried NOLA oysters and the taste was bland and served half cook oysters and gave me an upset stomach and the way the vendors sold just water, was crazy. Stand in along line to buy food and then have to stand in another line line just to buy water was another crazy concept.. smh get it together. Would i go back..‍‍

Yelp
So we decided to check out the famous Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena this past Sunday! This place had a ton of booths to check out and it was definitely an experience. However; there were a ton of booths focused on vintage clothing and very few booths with toys and videogames which we were a little dissapointed by. I'd definitely recommend this market if you are in search of vintage clothing! Also, make sure to put sunblock on since you will be in the sun for hours.

Yelp
The Rose Bowl Flea Market charged me TWICE on my credit card and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone. Stay away

Yelp
I have been going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market singe the late 1980's, and i always had a great time. Recently they enacted a no cash policy, so you have to buy your entry tickets on line and all food vendors only take credit cards. With all the scams going on these days and identity theft issues, I mostly use cash to buy small items. Consider what potential there is for someone to put your identity at risk for a $2 soft drink. That is ludicrous. Unfortunately, i will never go back. So sad. I used to go there at least 5 to 6 times a year.
