Rose International Market in Mountain View is a great spot for authentic Persian food and groceries. We dined in and ordered rice with chicken, as well as baghali polo with mahiche—both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The meat was tender, and the rice had that perfect saffron aroma we love. The market also has a wide selection of Middle Eastern products, fresh bread, and sweets. Tip: It can get busy during lunch hours, so plan ahead if you want a table. Whether you’re shopping or dining, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Persian flavors.

I have been shopping here for years. Ibrahim always cuts the meat, this last time a young guy with curly hair cut the lam shoulder and replaced or mixed it with rib and other pieces of bones with a little meat. We buy lamb shank as well. We spend $100s of dollars here to buy meat for several families every time but now we will take our business somewhere else. I called the store today to complain, nobody talked to me and they hang up on me. They even put the wrong date. My sister bought this yesterday. Very disappointing.

They have become really a good spot to grab and go for Persian food. People are nice and great value for what you get. When I get lazy to cook anything at home then this is the place

I've been coming here for ages... Well before the Rose International Market reopened in its new (current) location. I remember the original run down location, before the building caught fire more than a decade ago. Actually, I think it was 2010. I stopped by to get some grub and was shocked to see the place had burned down!! I was at a loss of words. The old spot looked like a hole in the wall; old, unkept and run down grocery store, but it did have more seating for dining in. I remember walking past several Persian folks eating on my way to place an order...lol I heard the building had burned down from a grease fire or something like that. I was ecstatic when they reopened the (current) bigger , brighter, cleaner and fancier Rose Market. As with almost all things overtime, food and goods have gotten more expensive. However the good here is still a bargain compared to other Persian spots... and it's still tasty albeit IMHO not as good the OG location, but not by a lot... #PersianEats: (what I can remember... over the years) ~ Koubideh Super Sanwich - 4/5 ~ Kotlet Sandwich - 4/5 ~ Lahori Chicken - 4/5 ~ Barg - 4/5 ~ Chicken Koubideh - 4/5 ~ Lamb Koubideh - 4/5 ~ Olvieh Sandwich - 4/5 ~ Kookoo Sabzi Sandwich - 4/5 I'm still a regular...

This store carries a wide selection of Iranian and Middle Eastern groceries, making it a convenient place to find specialty items. The dishes prepared in the kitchen are reasonably priced, with fresh and delicious options like stews, chicken, and shank. However, some dishes, such as Kotlet, Salad Olivieh, and Halim, are kept in the refrigerator for too long, causing them to lose their freshness and develop an unpleasant odor. Additionally, I once observed a kitchen staff member leaving the restroom without washing his hands and still wearing his gloves, which raised concerns about hygiene practices.

Google
This review is for the Fesenjan ready to eat dish. I got their smallest container for which I paid $7.37, but when I opened it at home I saw 3️⃣ pieces 2x2 inches and the rest was the sauce. The price is unreasonably high for what I got. If they’d fill that small container with more pieces of chicken, perhaps it wouldn’t be so disappointing. I’m not going to drink the sauce. The Fesenjan was very tasty as I tried it for the first time, but I won’t be buying more. Overall prices in the store are kind of high in comparison to trader joe for example. ********************** Added comment after owner's response to me: As a customer, I understand the need to account for high-quality ingredients and the labor involved in preparing menu items. However, in this particular case, the small portion of just 3 chicken pieces, even with the specialty sauce, did not quite align with the pricing. P.S not everyone wants to eat this with the rice.

No extra fees or surcharges. Thank you for the honest, inclusive menu pricing and please stay fee-free. You can get a delicious hot meal here for a great price, particularly the daily specials. They have kebabs, sandwiches/wraps, rice plates, and other mezzes. The daily special when I went was Loubia Polo. I ordered it for $8 and it was a huge rice plate that was good for two meals for me. You can get a kebab for as little as $5-6 and it will come with lavash bread, parsley, and onions to make your own kebab wrap. You go inside to order food - the outside window is only for grill order pickups. Sandwiches/wraps, rice plates, and mezzes are ordered and picked up at the deli counter. Kebabs and other grill items are ordered at the register; you receive a number and then pick up your order from the outside window when your number is called. Outdoor seating: There are a few tables on the sidewalk in front of Rose International Market and its neighboring business, Mr. Sun Tea. The tables in front of Rose International Market get a little bit of shade from trees, while the ones by Mr. Sun Tea are sheltered by the building roof. In addition, there is bench seating in front of Mr. Sun Tea and also around the corner, along Castro Street.

Google
For a spanking new market this is the as best as it can get. Food is specifically to-go, but there's seating outside. Notice the bricks on the sidewalk make clinking sounds. Order inside, pick up outside. Well portioned grilled meats are incredibly tender and savory; lamb chops, chicken tandoori, New York beef are juicy, flavorful, tender; this will involve napkins. Ask for side of sumac. Vegetable assortment to-go basically serves one person, so order extra. Flavored rice is more tasty than plain basmati. Produce seem to be reasonably priced and fresh. Parking lot has very narrow entry and exit, be careful.

Yelp
I love this place. Koubideh, crispy rice, outdoor tables. Only issue is there is about 1 smoker every 10 minutes outside. Makes it hard to enjoy if you're sensitive, pregnant, or have kids. I'd love if they put in a designated smoking area AWAY from the small outdoor dining area. I'm sure the smokers wouldn't mind.

Yelp
My favorite Persian deli, market and catering! Check out the menu selection for kabobs and stews on their website. Ask for Kabobs to be medium or Juicy when you call it in. Otherwise they cook it well done. They have Ash, Soups, Dolma, Ghemah, Eggplant, Ghormeh Sabzi, Koko, kotlet, salad Shirazi, feseenjoon stew, white rice with a wonderful Tahdig (crispy rice), salad Olivia (chicken, eggs, peas, potato, dill pickle), salad shirazi, Persian breads, and a selection of cheese including Bulgarian, Greek and French feta! I recommend Bulgarian feta. Plenty of parking. The owner and workers are good people. The do delivery via Door Dash and Offer catering. Can't go wrong with this place. It's a taste of Iran. Try the daily lunch specials. Sometimes they offer big meat balls! So good! Parking is available and they got a few outside tables. Highly recommend it!

Yelp
Do Not Come here, Rose Market staff supports and provides food to homeless persons who yelled and cuss to paying customers in front of their eyes!!! It was awful! Nice gentleman came and apologized for their behavior and promised to talk to management, because it was not the first time. Will not support your business anymore, and will advise my friends and colleagues to do the same P.S. if outside is not your territory - why you send customers to wait for food outside to be harassed?!? All paying customers have numbers/tickets and called when food is ready, which was not the case for this person. Workers actually were looking and trying to catch her attention in order to give food. The person in question didn't leave, because she was eating on the trash can in front of the Rose Market, the customers left...

Yelp
I genuinely enjoyed their food. Very nice and scenic location. However, my mom got the nastiest food poisoning eating their food here. Although when I went, I seemed to have suffered no problems but because of the fact my mom had to go through that, she's never going to come here again. In fact, she's probably never going to eat outside food ever because of this one instance. Very worrying to see my mother go through this. On my end, the texture and taste of the chicken and beef kebab were great when cooked properly (FDA standards) and there's a nice pleasant shopping experience, hence the three stars, it would've been a four or higher if my mom didn't have to go through what she went through, micro bacteria can be prone to heat resistance when leaving raw meat outside for way too long (just my two cents)

Yelp
I bought a bottle of fresh squeezed orange juice, a box of Loacker cookies, a box of sunflower seeds and baklava. The only thing that is palatable is the orange juice. Everything is stale and tastes bad. Now, that still doesn't warrant a 1-star, right? Yup, but guess what, there were MAGGOTS inside the box of sunflower seeds. They were alive and crawling!! Will never buy anything from this place again.

Yelp
This is our go to for amazing and affordable koobideh and Iranian kebabs. We always get the koobideh and Lahori chicken kebabs which are always moist and super flavorful. The orders always come with a full pack of lavash bread, parsley, cilantro, and fresh onion so you can make little rolls out of it. The parking is a bit of a pain now so be prepared for that but it is definitely worth it!!

Yelp
Great food - best Persian food San Mateo and Santa Clara county but not a sit down restaurant. Order at store or ahead and pick up and go.
google avatar

Paula S.

Yelp
People are friendly, food is fresh, and they cook their kabobs on an open flame to order. The stews are good, as well as their chk salad (not with lettuce) is made with mayonnaise and is very tasty. The employees are friendly - the guys that cook the kabobs on an open flame are always nice. My only negative is that they have tip jars at every register. I always tip the hispanic guys doing the grill cooking or maybe the deli guy if I get something. I don't see why I should tip the cashiers?? If I would tip all of them, that would add an extra $7- $8 dollars!! You can also call ahead to have your food ready for pick up, which is nice! I highly recommend it!!

Yelp
So I was trying out Mr Sun nextdoor and I was so curious about this international market. I love trying new ethnic foods and it's rare to find a Persian one. They have a ton of bread, all sorts that I've never seen before. The store is big and spacious, seemed mostly clean. I was most interested in their deli section -- so many things I've never seen before so I bought a little of everything to try out. Somehow ended up spending $70!! Sabzi Koko $6.09 Kotlet $7.98 I wanted to try their assorted cutlets but they turned out to be dry and tasteless. Sadly ended up in the garbage. Chicken legs cooked in tomato sauce x3 $8.97 these were also dry, despite being simmered in sauce but I think it might be because they removed the skin and maybe the chicken had been cooking in their juices for awhile Crispy basmati rice $8.97 I thought this came with the rice. Otherwise I would not have purchased this because the kabobs actually came with a giant package of lavash bread Koubideh x3 $14.97 Chicken kabob x3 $17.97 These were the best out of everything I tried. The koubideh is a combination of beef and lamb, cooked on skewers. Chicken kabob were not too dry and I liked that smoked flavor from the grill. Overall it was an interesting experience and I'm glad I tried everything. Service was alright. They speak English here too so if you don't understand something, just ask. I did see a lot of native customers here!

Yelp
The only reason they even grt two stars is because the food tastes good. Rude customer service from Ebrahim the cashier. Last weekend I went to the Saratoga for a meeting and stopped by Rose in Saragota. It had been a few years since I had been there due to moving up the peninsula. I was quickly excited that the food still tasted really good. Today after the gym I decided to head back to grab some more food (you know when you have really good food you crave it for weeks) and to my surprise they are temporarily closed. I called and luckily they had the new location information. I was so excited to have a few of my friends try their food so I ordered 2 chicken Kebabs and I beef. I also ordered a few other things they I probably didn't need but who cares lol. When I received my order it looked different from just a few days ago when I ordered it from Saratoga. The chicken came in separate skewers and a lot more presentable. When I asked why it looked different Ebrahim rudely responded I was lying it looked the same. Why would I lie about how the food was packaged? He had a very bad attitude enough for me to ever consider going back. In conclusion the food is good but they need to work on better customer service.

Pooya M.

Yelp
Not the cheapest place to buy the ethnic groceries but then this is MV. The grill works well for a takeout, esp if you make your own rice etc at home. More economical than a restaurant take out.

Yelp
This local supermarket is a true gem, boasting a charcoal grill that churns out mouthwatering kebabs. Despite the rising prices, the quality of their food remains impeccable. Each kebab is grilled to perfection, bursting with flavor and tenderness. If you're in the mood for a delicious meal while running errands, look no further. Five stars for exceptional food in an unexpected setting!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing if you are in the mood for some good Persian/Middle Eastern food. We loved the food so much that we came back the next day for more. Of course, the kababs are the best here, but they also have plenty of vegetarian options. We tried quite a lot of items. Among the kabobs, the koubideh is good; we also tried the chicken kababs, but if you were to pick one, I'd recommend the koubideh. For vegetarians, kookoo sabzi is pretty good. I tried it as a sandwich as well as getting it à la carte. We also got hummus, shiraz salad, falafel, soup, and rice. Other than the kabobs, everything is from the deli counter and is served pretty quickly. The kebobs take about 15-20 minutes to be ready, as they're made to order. They also accept online orders, which is convenient.
google avatar

Cin-Yee S.

Yelp
No one has better koubideh! When in the area I always try to get a tray of koubideh and jujeh along with some rice and different stews from the hot deli to last me through the week (and then of course I totally open up my tray and start eating lavash-wrapped pieces with my hands while sitting in traffic on 237 - I know, I'm so ladylike). I encourage you to also eat more delicious Persian food and kebabs, but, take it from me, maybe wait until you get home before you start eating to save on the car detailing.
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
Favorite persian restaurant!!! Service is always so fast and friendly and the food is always so delicious. My family has been coming here since the old location and it's such a hidden gem
google avatar

Amina S.

Yelp
This place offers delicious kabobs that you can get to go. Their grocery selection is also good, although it can be a bit pricey. You will definitely find all the halal meat and groceries you may be looking for in Mountain View at this spot.

Roro D.

Yelp
Terrible, don't waste time or money here on food. Ordered one barg sandwich and 2 koobideh sandwiches. Barg sandwich was so hard to chew on and it didn't taste like anything. The koobideh sandwich also didn't taste like anything. But the barg was definitely the worst
google avatar

Robbert E.

Yelp
I had not been in here in a bit, but as usual I got great Kabobs, Rice Dish, and treats on the New Year.
google avatar

Lydia L.

Yelp
I loved the chicken leg and the falafel from last time so returned to try their kebab. Unfortunately this time it disappointed. I ordered one chicken thigh kebab and one barg (sirloin) kebab, expecting them to come with some veggies and bread. It cost ~$18 in total, but when I unpacked the food, all I saw was several chunks of meat with a bag of bread. The chicken thigh tasted much better than the barg - more moist, flavorful, and tender. The bread was okay. Overall the kebab was overpriced IMO.
google avatar

Deena R.

Yelp
delicious takeout food - kebabs are well priced and perfectly seasoned. We usually just make rice at home and use the kebabs as the main dish. The Ash soup is also amazing and yummy complex flavors but simple ingredients.

Yelp
I had visited this Business for the last decade and was always impressed by the freshness of their products and good customer service - cashiers and owner as well- Many customers noticed that the employees in food preparation section seem always angry and frustrated - not happy to serve customers- their attitude made me personally uncomfortable and not happy to pay for such quality of service. I shared my concerns with the manager/owner, he tried to justify the worker/employee unacceptable bad behavior... thanks anyway. You must have built a great reputation in the community the last decades unfortunately the quality of your today customer service is deteriorating. I Will definitely take my business somewhere else.
google avatar

Quoc H.

Yelp
I ordered inside the market which is a tiny grocery store that serves food in the back. Not that packed and my order was taken at the check out register. Food takes about 20-30min as there are a lot of phone orders and they made the kabobs fresh! 8/10 Koubideh $4.99 - comes with lavash bread, raw onion, parsley, and cilantro. Kabob was seasoned but could use more. Cilantro and bread wrapped with the meat was good. Definitely small kabob size tho. There was a lot of bread left over. Maybe 2-3 kabobs would be more filling. Lamb Chops $14.99 - 4small pieces so idk if it was worth it. My friend order this. Also comes with bread, onion, cilantro, and parsley on the side. Rice $2.99 Bell Pepper $.99
google avatar

Nancy L.

Yelp
This is my go-to place for take-out koubideh. It is so convenient! I call first to place my order and then head over there to pickup. I typically order their beef and chicken koubideh, and tandoori chicken. They're always juicy and tender and perfect char grill aroma.
google avatar

Nita K.

Yelp
Extremely rude staff. Ordered 3 separate sandwiches and when I went to pick up, they only gave me two. Told the people working at the window I specifically told the cashier we ordered three sandwiches and they told me that I only ordered two and one with double meat. I even had my receipt with me which clearly showed three orders. Another man came and told me he was the one who took my order (he was not) and that I ordered two sandwiches only. They argued with me and then they angrily took the sandwiches and said they will remake it. Came home with two normal sandwiches and one with barely anything in it. It looked like two small pieces of meat cut In half with barely any greens in it. Very disappointed in their basic customer service/attitude and I will not be retuning here.
google avatar

Yelp
A cool little international grocery store. Parking is quite limited. There's a tiny row of parking spots at the back of the shop. If you aren't lucky enough to snag a spot, you might need to find street parking or see if there's a spot elsewhere. Small section of fresh fruits and veggies. Prices seemed reasonable. There are a lot of dried and pantry products. I mostly came here to see what sorts of cool spices and specialty items they had. They do have 2 small shelf walls of spices - some are labeled with prices and others aren't. I was happy to find small packages of barberries. I love lamb tachin, so will be using my purchase to make my own at home :) Probably won't be here often, but great to know there's barberries here if I ever need more.

Teresa W.

Yelp
Served me burned steak that was cold. Served inside a bag with really gross greasy napkins. Refused a refund.

Yelp
I have been to this store before it was a new building! I love the to go food! I can eat the chicken all day long ! I also get the desert in the weekend! The Persian food is so good we are not able to lower out standard to compare to any other stores we go! The grocery and meat are good as well! I also love their tea section! I come once a week and loving this place so close to me!

j a.

Yelp
I have been going here since they were in the old building further down Castro with the little window outside in the parking lot. Then followed them to Cupertino and now back to Mountain View. First and foremost don't go here for the service or customer interaction. The ordering process while improved is still confusing. The online ordering is an improvement. The folks at the counter range from grunting and looking disinterested to being friendly and helpful. Service depends on who you get and how the stars are aligned that day. The younger guys are usually helpful. Go here just for the food! The koubideh and chicken thigh kebabs are just excellent. Good enough to overlook all the other shortcomings in the service and staff. Don't forget to put sumac on the kebabs. The Kashk E Bademjan, Ghormeh Sabzi, Fesenjaan, Zereshk Polo are all wonderful. Look for special dishes like meatballs stuffed with fruit or layered rice with chicken. Also, they get some special huge, sweet, blackberries every so often. The lavash bread may be an acquired taste, I didn't like it early on but now I really enjoy it with the kabobs. These days I order it to go and then throw some onions and tomatoes with olive oil and salt in the airfryer to accompany the kebabs.

Yelp
Good food and nice people; clean market! Definitely a go to Persian food mart. They do sometimes overgrilled their meats.

A Z.

Yelp
Grocery: you can find lots of Persian ingredients and food. Cheese options are solid and so are jams and tea. The produce is not particularly great and somewhat expensive. Prepared food: The koobideh is a taste thing but I just prefer mine without lamb. But it's probably the best thing in their menu. Ambiance: nice and clean. You'll see a mix of people, some def not from Iran.

Marlene S.

Yelp
Rude people, who don't under English. This market was great . The old timers were hard working people with great PR, too bad
google avatar

Koyel B.

Yelp
Be VERY careful with your receipts; check immediately. I bought some ground meat and got charged a cigarette tax and something listed as "haft seen" for no reason. Didn't notice until I got home.
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
I bought some little Persian pickles, opened them at home & they disintegrated. Date was 2020 - 3 years expired. I won't be shopping here anymore- nothing was fresh
google avatar

Yelp
Updating with recent lunch picture! The lamb is very good and juicy. Grilled veggies were excellent too. Generous amount of bread.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here was really good! However the portions are on the smaller side.. so double up!
google avatar

Jasmina T.

Yelp
I shopped here last Saturday. Didn't have a chance to stay long, but I did notice a lot of Sadaf brand products which I do not support. Find alternative.

Yelp
I went from San Francisco to this place , thinking it would be cheaper than the stores in San Francisco but it was ridiculously expensive. All the goods they have are at least 2$,3$ more than other places. The store was neat and clean though. Everything was organized. I tried their food as well. Their food prices were reasonable. I gotta say the Koobideh kebab was amazing. It tasted so good served with lavash bread. I also tried their beef kotlet sandwich and I was extremely disappointed. Didn't taste like kotlet at all. But like I said the koobideh kebab was really good, probably one of the best I have had in Northern California ! Overall not happy with this place due to their extremely high prices and will not go back to this place due to that reason. Better off to go to a Iraqi /middle eastern store in San Francisco and get the same type of goods for way lower price!

Yelp
OMG I can't believe it I give you what I know about Kabobs... to let you know I am a Chef ‍ for Kabobs and Home Made dishes had my own Restaurant Here waste of money and time to travel for 30 minutes with busy traffic... which recommended by a friend my first time .. Kobedeh and Chicken kobedeh was over cooked the rice they give me had no butter dry have to ask for Samar and bread isn't in the bag . This kabob isn't tasting like real Persian kabob and isn't tender at all very dry ... I paid 17:00 for all with drink isn't worth $5:00 If done one give it to me for free will not eat it .. sorry and I hope they realize to fix there problems how to do make Kabobs..
google avatar

Tracey S.

Yelp
We love the grill. The lamb chops are a must try. Been going here since they used to serve grilled food out the back. Great food.

Jay P.

Yelp
AMAZING Middle Eastern food, from a small and clean Middle Eastern market. Our friends came to visit after a very long time and brought Rose takeout as a surprise. They were the ones who introduced us to this hidden gem years ago during a house party. The go-tos are the Tandoori Chicken and Koubideh. Chicken is grilled bone-in, tender and juicy every time and the brilliant red color from the marinade and black grill marks are always appetizing and a crowd pleaser. Koubideh also expertly grilled. It's deceptively simple, appears as a meat log but flavored with sumac and tumeric magic and enhanced further by fire. Basmati rice w. saffron is always perfectly cooked and fragrant, helps to balance out the meat and when it's dyed from the protein you know you are in for a flavor treat.

Tamar L.

Yelp
I'm not a hater, I wanted to support Rose Market if I could. Their prepared food is not the greatest I've had but it's not exactly bad either. If I'm working in the peninsula and craving Persian food I don't have time to go to San Jose and Rose Market would be a good option. Yet there's a lot of time wasting at Rose Market with it's nonsensical manner of operating. In Silicon Valley of all places, no one likes to have their time wasted. I called before I arrived to order some food for dinner. I wanted a kebab plate and a small container of stewed eggplant, kashk bademjan. They refused to take my full order on the phone, saying I could order the kebabs but I have to go to the deli counter to get the eggplant when I arrive. I was in the middle of working; I had 25 minutes to eat. My timing was tight; that's why I called to have the food ready in advance. When I arrived, I paid for the kebabs at the kebab counter. Then I had to wait for awhile on a line for the deli counter to order eggplant. The lady at the deli counter was delightful, she mistook me for a Farsi speaker which was cute, but you can't pay there, you have to take it to the grocery register. Though it was a busy evening time, there was no one working at either grocery register, so I had to stand around there and wait for awhile to be rung up, then I went to the outside kebab counter to pick up my food (are you following me, that's the fourth counter I stood at). I got my kebab order, thinking I'm finally gonna get to sit down and eat but I open the container only to see kebabs and vegetables with no rice! All I needed was a bit of rice to enjoy the kebabs with, I went to the counter to tell the cooks. I know that in any normal situation like this where they've messed up your order, deli workers would usually just give you a scoop of rice on the house, presumably this would cost the restaurant at most $2 in lost revenue, probably less. But not at Rose Market. The cooks were unwilling to help me out, they went to get the manager, he said I wasn't specific and clear enough on the phone when I tried to order rice, then I had to go get my credit card so he could then go back to the register and charge me for the rice. By the time I sat down to eat my 25 minutes were up. I took a couple bites of the food I put so much effort trying to procure, then I had to run. I didn't get to eat my dinner and the stress of the experience lingered with me for the rest of the night. My parents taught me to turn suffering into humor. That is the way of my people. A full stand up comedy routine's worth of jokes about Rose Market filtered through my mind as I worked into the night. I'll spare you the extent of the jokes but let's just say that in Curb Your Enthusiasm terms I wanted Rose Market to be Palestinian Chicken but it's giving Mocha Joe. Hopefully airing my grievances here will not lead to Fatwa the Musical. Normally I charge $200 an hr for executive coaching but I'm not stingy like Rose market so I'll give a freebie to the owner: streamline your ordering process so that kebabs and deli can all be ordered and paid for together. That way if someone wants to eat at your restaurant they don't have to go to 4 counters and stand on 4 lines. My review accidentally posted before I was finished writing. Rose Market owner posted a long response arguing with me. The rude attitude certainly doesn't make me feel better. He's arguing over rice that cost $3. Don't know if I would ever go back there but if I did it would only be when I have a lot of time to kill

Yelp
This place deserves more stars so I'm getting of my lazy butt and reviewing. Restaurant food quality is top notch and grocery / produce selection is great as well. If you're expecting the grocery shopping experience to be like Whole Foods, this place isn't for you. As far as the efficiency of the food ordering process mentioned by a recent reviewer, I can't disagree but tbh, I think of this place like the soup joint on Seinfeld (if you know, you know): the food is so good that it's worth jumping through whatever hoops they put in front of me. And I don't want to suggest any disruption to their process as long as they keep serving up such amazing food. Just go with the flow and you will not be disappointed. Otherwise: NO KABAB FOR YOU!

Yelp
Been to this place before they move to a new place which is not far away. Their food is still good and prices are reasonable. Love their fresh made fruit drinks Will come again

Yelp
My fave to go is Chicken thigh jujeh kabob over zereshk pollo (barberries over saffron rice). So hard to find zereshk. My go to is Chicken with zereshk and side of grilled tomatoes. $16. Ask for the free sumac spice and veggies (onions, mint, cilantro, parsley) at the pickup window. I'll buy a bag of fresh mint and some radishes from the grocery store. I'll sometimes order barg (filet mignon) for something different. $9.

Yelp
Used to be my favorite place for Persian food. I would come from South Bay to treat myself. But in the last year or so, they've become extremely stingy and overpriced for the quality. The basic wraps have nothing but dry meat and lavash, pretty weird. They won't provide any sauces. This place had massive lines for their kebabs at the previous location, but not anymore. One of the worst is the rude service. They have an inefficient ordering process and blame you if they mess up and overcharge. Some of the guys are nice enough but others are simply jerks if you ask basic questions. Again, REALLY weird and most of the staff don't seem to enjoy being there.

Yelp
A little concerned about the highly mixed reviews, but I was getting my haircut across the street & decided to try it. I made an online order to pick up 45 minutes later. It was ready right on time for pick up at outside window. Portion sizes were great- way better than the dinky online photos appeared. Food was delicious & prices very reasonable. Meat dishes were very tasty & came w lavash bread. Olivier salad was yummy. Also bought some almond cookies which were addictively delicious. Will return!

Yelp
My favorite Persian market! Not only can you buy your Persian groceries here but you can also buy freshly prepared food including kabobs.

Yelp
I drove by this place a couple times and finally got to try it out today for dinner. I was craving some Persian food and hopped on yelp to find a restaurant. Rose popped up and I was feeling adventurous, so I called them up to see if they had an koobideh ready for pickup. The man told me it's made to order, and would be ready in 15 minutes. So I placed my order and drove over. There is a parking lot behind the market. I walked in and grabbed the following: Plain rice: 4/5 they gave me some tahdig on top! Dill rice: 5/5 tasty and extra tahdig yum! Gormeh sabzi: 4/5 this was legit but the meat was tough. Dolmas: 5/5 OMG sooo good! I should have gotten more. These remind me of the ones my childhood friend's mom made. Soooo delicious. Sangat bread: this guy in front of me bought about 10 of them so I decided to grab one. Haven't tried it yet but looks good. After I paid I got my order number and went to the outdoor window to pickup the grilled items: Koobideh: 5/5 I got three. They were very good. Reminds me of shamshiri (down in west Los Angeles). So happy I found a place that makes yummy koobideh. Chicken kabob: 4/5 good flavor but the chicken was a little dry. Brought the food home and gobbled it down. It's been a long time since I have had legit Persian food. I will be back to try more items! Oh and I didn't realize they don't give grilled veggies and tomatoes when you order the meat. It just comes with lavash bread. So sad that our meal wasn't complete.
