The hospitality of the staff is wonderful. Everyone is polite & professional. Jocelyn at the front desk was helpful. Alissa, my host, was kind, making me feel “at home.” I had an 80 minute massage with Jane. Jane is a seasoned massage therapist, addressing my issues & used the amount of massage pressure I had requested. She is a warm person, and I felt comfortable in her hands. The experience at Rose was delightful and I look forward to coming back some time soon!

I was in desperate need of a massage and Jane was my masseuse. I’ve had countless massages and hands down can say the massage she gave was the best I’ve ever had. With 30 years of experience, her technique was on point to bring my body relief as well as her knowledge on tips to provide the body comfort and ultimate wellness. You are in for a treat going to the Rose spa. One of the unique offerings was a light experience shower, which I loved. Also, the sauna was perfect for relaxation. Anytime I’m in town, I will ensure to go back. Thank you Jane and the overall spa for offering such a quality experience ✨

11/10 recommend!! To start, I am 34 weeks pregnant & was treating myself to a massage. I had the 80 minute maternal massage & Melissa was my masseuse. Upon arrival, you check in & wait to be brought back. Once you’re brought back, you are shown a small tour of the facility. After that, you are left to change & get ready. Once you have your robe on, you can head to the relaxation room while you wait for your massage. This is why they tell you to come earlier to take advantage of the facility. They provide water, hot tea, snacks & a beautiful room to hangout in. Luckily, I was the only one in there. My masseuse came to get me & we headed over to the room. They had the maternity pillow to allow me to lay on my stomach which I appreciated. Melissa asked how the pressure was & got to work. The most relaxed I’ve felt all pregnancy. After the massage, I took a shower. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash smell so luxurious, which was a plus. They also have a steam room & experience shower but I didn’t try those. Melissa, along with the rest of the staff were so kind & welcoming. I will likely be back & would recommend to anyone!!

I had the best experience with Melissa for an 80 min holistic massage. Her technique mixed with her care and kindness made me feel like an Empress. I wished it would never end. Thank you so much for such magic!

I had a facial and Blythe was fantastic, she customized my treatment according to my skin and it was so relaxing!

Google
The spa space is beautiful and the staff were all extremely hospitable and welcoming. Chang did my deep tissue massage. It was one of the best I’ve had. The pressure was good and he checked in to make sure I was doing well. I enjoyed that he incorporated some stretching into it as well. The whole time I kept thinking I wish I had more time for a longer massage. I highly recommend you checkout this spa when in Nashville.

Google
Rose Spa was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Their amenities are lovely and the ambience is perfection. An 80 minute holistic massage with Jane was the perfect way to relax and the service was top notch. The infused scents, relaxing music and overall aesthetic is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend! 10/10

Yelp
Donna was so fantastic- so personable and professional. I had a quickie pedi and my toes look beautiful. Thank you!

Yelp
I recently had a great custom facial done by one of the fabulous professionals at Rose Spa, named BLYTHE! Thank you so much to her for not only the way she made my skin look and feel but also for the outstanding service and experience that she gave me **5 STARS** Unfortunately, this experience has been entirely overshadowed by the lack of professionalism and customer service as conducted and displayed by the Spa Manager named LAUREN. I went to Rose Spa because I received a gift card for my birthday which had an amount of $230 to cover the cost of a custom facial I was seeking, so I was only going to be paying out of pocket what was a difference of $25 due to an extra tip I left for Blythe. Upon checking out, the employee at the desk who was helping me said she could not get the gift card to swipe for some reason and would need her manager, Lauren, to complete the process and that she would then reach out to me to let me know once it was done and completed. Instead, the next day I learned that Lauren took it upon herself to charge the full amount of the service which was $255 to my credit card on file that was originally put down because a gift card couldn't be put down at the time of booking and scheduling the appointment. I went to the Spa and spoke to Lauren in person to find out why this was in which she told me that the gift card was not active and was unusable even though it was paid for and purchased by a guest of the Joseph Hotel DIRECTLY from the Rose Spa and the employee standing right beside Lauren at the time of this conversation even recalled that exact purchase of the gift card because of the fact that the person who bought it described who it was for etc. On top of that Lauren then told me she THREW AWAY the gift card which is highly inappropriate, odd, and concerning simply because if it was not active then I should have not only been notified but it should have been RETURNED to me as the owner of said gift card who it was given to directly by a PAYING GUEST who also is deserving to be privy to the fact that something they purchased and spent a lot of money on was not in fact any good for no reason to blame other than the BUSINESS, otherwise this amounts to nothing other than theft. Throwing away the gift card that a guest purchased for the purpose to be spent solely in the business in which it was purchased from is literally throwing away the very real money that the hotel received but was taken from the customer, whom in this case was also a guest of the hotel, to buy said item. This is sketchy for obvious reasons and looks like there is something to hide and ultimately if given the gift card back and making me aware of this before not only charging my card but then THROWING AWAY the gift card, I could have used the physical gift card to pursue on my own as to why it was, as Lauren claims "inactive" even though it was in fact paid for and received from Rose Spa. Because Lauren was no help at all and failed to act in a resolution-oriented way I have since had to go through my own channels to see how to best rectify this situation of theft. I think The Joseph Hotel, or any future employer, should strongly consider Lauren's ability to effectively operate like a manager, as she should receive extensive and thorough training in order to be a better fit for the role that she holds. This is not how you handle customer service or care, especially when it's claimed to be luxury. Do better Lauren.

Yelp
I paid $195 for a 50 minute "holistic" massage. The quiet room is tiny, refreshments were fine but there's no privacy if others are in there. I was taken back and had a male massage therapist... which is fine, I didn't specify and have had male massage therapists before. He told me to sit down on the massage table and he sat in a stool and tried to sell me stones and hand wax treatment... it felt both clinical and retail which wasn't relaxing at all. Now to the massage. Maybe he was new. A couple things that were so strange... 1. He squirted massage oil directly onto my skin. I've had hundreds of massages and this has never happened ever. Like squirting oil on my back and then rubbing it in. $195. 2. He rubbed everything really fast, I was shaking all over the table and having to hold my limbs still so they didn't fall off the table. Not relaxing. $195. 3. He was so loud. Breathing really loudly, his shoes sounded sticky on the floor which grossed me out and he would go off to a corner of the room where I couldn't see him (face down) and bang around in cabinets, turn on faucet etc. 4. Lastly, he asked if I wanted my feet done... ok, maybe people don't like this but he had already asked if there were areas to avoid. 5. He was borderline chiropractic with my neck, wrapping a towel around it and pulling it forcefully to the side with a jerking motion, not a slow stretching motion. It wasn't relaxing and the next day I felt like I was going to pull a muscle. Such a shame bc it was so expensive. The experience shower is completely see through and is a must with essential oil. Steam room is small and dark. Shampoo etc didn't appear to be salon shampoo, it was hotel shampoo etc My husband had a female massage therapist and said his was fine. We pay $90 local for an awesome massage so definitely won't be doing this again as the overall experience and perks of a hotel spa were not worth it.

Yelp
I booked a spa day for my best friend who is getting married in a few weeks. I am from New York, so I had to communicate with the spa through phone and email. Christa was so helpful and responsive, and my friend told me that everything she had done was amazing. Christa helped me pick out the services and tailor the day to exactly what I wanted. Knowing that my vision came to life and my friend was taken care of even though I was thousands of miles away was a wonderful feeling!

Yelp
Very pricey but the female nail tech was very nice and it is a luxury spa so not sure what I was expecting! Upon walking in though, it was a bit awkward as I arrived to an empty desk with a working telling me it was his first week on the job so he really can't help me. Then another lady eventually arrived at desk and told me to go through the doors where the nail tech was waiting for me. Rated a 3 because it wasn't anything special or luxurious aside for the price tag. Not a ton of nail color options either.

Yelp
I had a mini facial, CBD rose indulgence spa and a body scrub. The woman who checked me in was incredibly kind and my masseuse was wonderful. The entire experience was incredible and I enjoyed spending time in the relaxing room as it was very quiet.

Yelp
The spa itself is gorgeous, beautiful facility with friendly estheticians. However, I had the worst experience with the spa manager who insisted on charging me $150 for a treatment I never got. In detail: when I arrived to get my facial, I learned that it's not a regular facial - but rather a chemical peel. Having sensitive skin, I wasn't prepared for a chemical procedure, and asked to either get a different treatment (e.g massage, voucher for future use) or get my money back. The spa manager admitted the website should be much more clear. She said the website should in the future clearly explain this is a chemical procedure and not a regular facial. And despite that, she still said she only has one option and that is to charge me for the treatment. I want to thank the amazing hotel staff that tried talking to the spa staff to get them to reason with us, to no avail. They apologized on their behalf and apologized they weren't able to help in more ways (sounds like these are two different entities). Bottom line - visit this beautiful hotel with the most kind, lovely staff. SKIP THE SPA with the terrible service.

Yelp
After a series of days that left me completely depleted of energy, I spent the afternoon at the Rose spa, in the steam room and relaxation room. I mean it when I say it was EXACTLY what I needed. When I thought it couldn't get better, I had a haircut appointment with Kaitlin that left me glowing and feeling like a whole new person. Kaitlin is very talented and, along with the rest of the staff, is so kind and exceptionally professional. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Massage was cancelled on us not once but twice, day of the massage. My girlfriend and I love massages but almost never get to indulge ourselves. When we were finally able to take a vacation out in Nashville we decided to go all out and this was our number 1 activity we were looking forward to. Like I said we love massages. Reviews looked great, amenities were rated top notch and everything was perfect. Day of the massage we show up an hour early and reception tells us that the masseuse my girlfriend was going to be working with was pregnant and was unable to work at this time because she needed to go to the HOSPITAL. Yes, day of, hour before the time, no warning call, no notification, just told us after we showed up and after we had walked about 20 minutes from our hotel. Ok, very unfortunate but understandable. Not the receptions fault, definitely not the masseuses fault, things happen. The receptionist offered a calf and foot rub, travelers experience I think It was called, as an alternative but we really wanted our 80 minute full body massage. The hotel didn't have any openings for the rest of that day but we were able to reschedule for a 50 minute massage for the following day. Unfortunate because the following day was our last day in Nashville, we had a pretty tight timeframe, and it was less massage than we were hoping for. Along with that, we would now have to drag all of our luggage on the 20 minute walk to the hotel because we had to check out of our hotel before the massage. Not ideal but hey we wanted a massage, like I said this was our number 1 anticipated activity on the trip. The hotel let us use the spa the day of and comped us a bottle of Champagne. Nice gesture but I don't really drink and my girlfriend could only have two glasses. We ended up giving it out to the other guests in the waiting area. The spa facilities were, well frankly disappointing. Basically a steam room and shower. It left me honestly very frustrated and we tried to not let this ruin the day. The following morning we get up at around 9am, start prepping to check out of the room and my girlfriend gets a call. It's the Rose informing us that the masseuse for my girlfriend is pregnant and will not be able to work today. Yes, they scheduled us with the same masseuse! The same masseuse that couldn't work the day before because she was in the hospital! We cancelled on the spot and will never be booking or recommending the spa to anyone. We tried to book at other spas for the day of but no one could accommodate us at such short notice. We genuinely hope the masseuse is okay but it was a giant disappointment for our vacation and if the Rose would have at least told us they couldn't reschedule us we could have rescheduled a massage at a different location. TLDR: Rose Spa cancelled our appointment two days in a row with less than two hours heads up. Rescheduled us with the same masseuse that was sent to the hospital on the first day. We were unable to get a massage during our vacation. Extremely disappointed in the Rose and ruined two days of our vacation. Will not return or recommend the Rose to anyone.

Yelp
The ROSE spa was a wonderful treat! The amenities were ok but the massage treatment was amazing. I highly recommend the stone massage and the add on paraffin treatment. Please request Monty. He was amazing and it was one of the best massage treatments I have ever had!!

Yelp
I love coming here every time I'm here I run into cacey and mi mi they are always is always so welcoming always so opening with a beautiful bright smile. Best spa in Nashville down to the customer service to the service.

Kristie D.

Yelp
The best urban luxury spa experience! I was so impressed by the facilities (rivaling what you would see in a luxury resort - beautiful relaxation room, sauna, experience showers, beautiful locker room with thoughtful amenities, etc.), the customer service and of course the treatment itself. The staff was very accommodating and made sure our group was well taken care of. I had a body scrub treatment and it was fantastic - so relaxing and my skin was so soft after. I also came with a group of girlfriends and we all felt it was a highlight of our trip. We were staying at the hotel and got to sit by the gorgeous rooftop pool after - definitely a must if you are in Nashville and looking for luxurious relaxation.

Yelp
Perfect prenatal massage! Great ending to a long weekend in Nashville. Great service and facilities as well. :)
