"Rose Park Bistro opened on November 30 at 1017 Galleria Blvd, Suite 160, in the Fountains at Roseville outdoor mall, serving butternut squash gnocchi with almonds and teriyaki-flavored steak with lemon mashed potatoes. The Sacramento Bee reports restaurant owner Bulent Ozel made sure to include gluten-free items on the menu, too, alongside eight cocktails such as a $14 gin, cucumber, and Sriracha drink." - Lauren Saria

This is a great semi upscale option that's a nice addition to the fountains. They have a smaller menu but that's probably so they can focus on the quality of each item. The food took a while to get to the table but it was fresh and well presented. Fair prices for fair portion sizes with good flavor.

What a cute little place! I really enjoyed the ambiance and the stylish decor. Great place for date night or a solo dinner. I came for a late lunch. Ordered the salmon entree and Caesar salad. Enjoyed every bit of my meal! Service was okay—waitress could’ve been more attentive but overall pleasant experience.

Rose Park Bistro is a gem in Roseville; beautifully designed and comfortable. The aesthetic is elevated, and perfect for a date night. However, the true highlight is the culinary brilliance of Chef Brian Woods; his quality ingredients are assembled masterfully. Our current favorites are the octopus, mushroom risotto, and bread pudding for desert. Highly recommend this place.

Google
10/10 such a beautiful place with delicious food! we ordered for starters: burrata (as for me, i liked previous version more, with fig jam, strawberry, homemade crostini and truffle honey, but this one is good too) and fried calamari, jalapeno-avocado soup was SO GOOD (absolutely love it!), filet mignon & lobster bucatini - without a doubt - for sure I recommend it!!!

I have been waiting for this restaurant to open and wow, what amazing service, venue and food. Julia is the hostess and she greeted us right away in the most softest and calming voice. Took us right to our table where Lexi immediately came by and introduced herself as our waitress. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us a few of her top picks. I had the Beet Salad and Airplane Chicken entree, which was so tender and flavorful it truly melted in my mouth. My bf had the mushroom Risotto, asparagus soup and butter leaf salad. Both dishes were so amazing and reasonably priced. The thing that really stood out was the attentiveness of the entire staff from Julia, Lexi, to the young lady who filled our waters, and the staff who cleared our plates. What a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Very good food and very good service. This is a newer restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. Five of us went all had different things and everything we ordered came out great. Definitely worth a try. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Cordell did an amazing job serving us for our 6 year anniversary. He made good recommendations on food, drinks, and desserts, while also making us feel special at the end. We hardly ever spend $ on dinner like this but it was worth it for us tonight. For drinks I had the pear mocktail as I'm 9 months pregnant. It was good not too sweet but had sparkling for a kick. Mezcalita my S/O said was really good. For entrees we have the Paella and Teriyaki skirt steak both were tasty. For dessert we enjoyed the Ricotta pistachio cake and the lava cake. Both delicious.

I recently had the pleasure for the third time dining at Rose Park Bistro and it truly exceeded all expectations again. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance captivated me with its chic and inviting atmosphere. The warm and welcoming staff added a personal touch, making the entire experience memorable. The cocktails here are nothing short of artistry. Each sip felt like a journey through a palette of flavors, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The mixologists behind the bar are true masters of their craft, creating unique and innovative concoctions that left me in awe. Now, let's talk about the menu – an absolute perfection! Every dish was a harmonious blend of flavors, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise. The attention to detail in each presentation elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. It's evident that the chefs take great pride in their work, and it truly reflects in the dishes served. In addition to the delectable food and exquisite cocktails, the seamless coordination between the kitchen and the service staff deserves applause. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a delightful dining experience. Overall, this establishment is a gem that stands out not only for its exceptional cuisine but also for the overall ambiance, the attentive staff, and the artistic presentation of their cocktails and menu. A five-star experience that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a culinary adventure that goes beyond the ordinary.

Yelp
We celebrated our 40th anniversary here and had an excellent experience. Parked right across the street and were seated as soon as we walked in. The room was fairly full on a Sunday night, so was a little loud, but not annoyingly so. We had one of their specialty cocktails and they were generous in size and tasty! Then we split the gnocchi appetizer, Caesar salad, paella and a broccoli side, and finely Key Lime pie. The restaurant also gifted us a chocolate lava cake for our celebration. We had lots of fun and will definitely return. I love when places are open on Sundays (many I looked at, weren't), we weren't alone celebrating a special event.

Yelp
I went here for dinner with my gf last night and we were very impressed with the service, decor and the food! It is a great spot for a date! The inside was very fancy and the bar was really nice! We ordered 2 drinks, wine, one appetizer and 2 entrée. It was around $160. The drinks were very good and the food was even better! We will definitely be back!

Josie V.

Yelp
Food was delicious Service very nice servers were professional and the drinks were on point. the hit has to be the artichoke marinated in a delicious vinaigrette dressing and with feta cheese crumble, and julienned beets

Yelp
Tried this newer spot (about a year) at The Fountains. It's located at the end by DSW & Orvis. Dined outside as inside was full for the evening. While it was a bit breezy, the torch heaters made it more comfortable. Service was pleasant but we did find having to wait longer than anticipated as it seemed to be a full house. Out able enjoyed the appetizers (burrata caprese crostinis with fig jam were superb, fried calamari also very good). For main courses we had the skirt steak, mushroom risotto, filet mignon and pappardelle. All were pretty good although if the first two were just a tad less salty they'd be 5 star perfect. Overall good experience and definitely would return and try the desserts.

Vuyelwa W.

Yelp
BISTRO -- Such a Beautiful restaurant and a total delight ! We came here for our Executive Teams dinner and everything was five star ! Delicious food and great cocktails . Love the decor and customer service was on point ! Truly loved being here and look forward to coming back .

Yelp
Last night we had a reservation for 7:30 and the service was AMAZING during a busy Saturday night. Our waitress Mady was extremely attentive and would give us her recommendation which she was on point cause everyone loved their items. My favorite and 4 others also got the teriyaki skirt steak with mash potato's and asparagus. The meat comes medium rare and all of us, LOVE IT!! So much flavors and cooked perfectly. I also tried their clam chowder and was super tasty also. Also, the decorations/ambiance for the entire restaurant is SO cute! I got a Vodka Bliss drink and it came with a flavored bubble... HOW CUTE! I loved it and I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Me, my mom and my brother visited this place last night. We decided to take my mom out who was visiting from out of state. My brother who lives in the area said this place was good so we decided to go here for dinner. Hostess was amazing very friendly and sat us right away even gave us the option for indoor or outdoor sitting. We chose indoor and we were sat in their back room. The place is nice, gorgeous and very elegant. Definitely a midscale restaurant. We got the menu and were given water right away. The problem started with our server. Our servers name was Aise D. She didnt come up to our table until almost after 10 minutes of us being seated until she was looking around the room and I had to flag her down. Im not sure if no one communicated with her that she has a new table but we had to call just so we can order. By that time we were ready to put all our orders in since we've been waiting. I ordered myself their crisp cucumber refresher. I wasnt sure why our appetizers came before my drink but it did. The drink was delicious though. Appetizers: Great appetizers did not taste fishy and were not chewy. Octopus was made well. Calamari was a bit on the salty side but overall great flavor. Octopus Carpaccio Calamari Entree: At first I did ask our server which one she would recommend between the lamb chops and lobster and all she can say is the lobster is very popular. I mean I was expecting for her to explain to me whats in both of the dishes but that didn't happen. Anyways, I ordered the lamb chops, my brother ordered the salmon and my mom ordered the seafood paella. Honestly all very flavorful dishes. The lamb chops were cooked to my liking, I also enjoyed my mom paella and my brother seemed to have enjoyed his salmon. When our entrees arrived, me and my moms food came out first and then our server went up to my brother and asked him of his food is coming like why are you asking him that when you should be checking that with your kitchen and runners. I also ordered some truffle fries which she forgot so that wasnt put in with our order. We then ordered some desserts: I got the caramel sea salt and raspberry sorbet and my mom got the chocolate and caramel. I also ordered a cappuccino. Ice cream got there no cappuccino. Ofcourse by this time we already paid our bill. My brother did not want to pay atleast the minimum tip which I said no to as I felt bad. But the fact that again I didn't get another item I ordered I personally felt the 18% was too much since the service we received from our server was very mediocre at best. I ended up canceling the coffee since we were done eating. Yes they refunded it, it was $5 it wasn't that big of a deal but after paying $220 for a meal this was not what I was expecting. My brother told me that the last time they went here they got an amazing server and everything was well but he thinks alot of the servers here are now new. The servers, runners/kitchen should definitely communicate better. And the bar. It is the server's responsibility to make sure that their table is getting everything they ordered.

Yelp
We had such a lovely experience at Rose Park Bistro! When we first walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and felt so welcomed. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, and the mouthwatering dishes and unique cocktails are incredible. We started with the char-grilled artichoke hearts, which were to die for! The brown butter lobster and shrimp ravioli were full of flavor, and the sauce was absolutely heavenly! The pappardelle with short rib ragu was hearty and bursting with flavor, all made with the freshest ingredients. After having the sticky toffee pudding, we will never be the same again. It should be illegal because of how insanely amazing it is! The staff are all truly wonderful, and our waitress Janessa was absolutely incredible! Thank you for giving us such a memorable treat.

Maddi H.

Yelp
The menu is diverse and tasteful. Many different high end options. Good for the picky eater and the adventurous tongue. I really liked the overall appearance and decor of the restaurant. There's a great shaded patio area and beautiful full bar. Don't forget to use the bathroom while you're here-it's stunning! Service was very nice all of the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out just as described and was delicious. I personally loved the stoneware that all of the food and drinks came on/in. I think it really tied the whole experience together. I'll definitely be using this restaurant as my new lunch spot!

Jennifer A.

Yelp
This place has charm and upscale written all over it. The waiter and staff were all very friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. The drinks are outstanding and the presentation is even better. They make all of their syrups and foams.

Denise J.

Yelp
What an unexpected delight! Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Two of us sat at the bar because we hadn't made reservations. We ordered three appetizers to share: carpaccio octopus, steak tartar and the ravioli. For dessert we shared the chocolate lava cake. The octopus was delicious and a really great treat. We weren't sure what to expect, and this exceeded anything we had in mind. The steak tartar was more like a pate. It was also quite delicious, although a bit overpowered by the seasonings. The ravioli unusual in that it was really thin, almost like a wonton. Delicious and a pleasant surprise.

Naz K.

Yelp
Place was cozy and comfortable, I really enjoyed how respectful and polite staff were. Food was delicious my friends and I ordered a few different items on the menu, definitely enjoyed everything we ordered. Easy to find parking, place was clean and beautiful inside.

Jenna D.

Yelp
Made a reservation and enjoyed eating inside this beautiful restraint. They had an old black and white movie playing (on silent) and I enjoyed the slight nod to glam mixed with art deco decor. Service was wonderful! Food fav was the octopus carpaccio. So tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Beet salad was also gorgeous and delicious. Paella was good (but pricey). I would definitely order the Queen Bee cocktail again. Well balanced and lovely presentation.

Anna Y.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 12:30pm on a Saturday for a party of 5. Arrived 15 minutes late but was promptly seated at a large table. Service was top notch and attentive, though we did have to ask for refills on our iced tea and coke. We had the burrata caprese, roasted shrimp, golden beet salad, skirt steak sandwich, seafood paella, and mushroom risotto. Kids ordered modified adult entrees of fried chicken sandwich and burger. The standouts were the caprese, salad, and risotto. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and ricotta pistachio cake, both lovely in their own way. Saw a few celebrations go out with sparklers which the kids were intrigued by. We looked at the dinner menu, but the only differences were a lobster bucatini and lamb chops. Everything was cooked well, so I wish they had more options. Hopefully, they'll have seasonal items soon.

Amy B.

Yelp
The ambiance is relaxing, inviting and swanky. For appetizers, I highly recommend the skirt steak skewers and for your drink I would say the Bubble Bliss is a must try

Will P.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by Rose Park Bistro. tucked way in a dimmed corner of the Fountains, you don't feel like you're at an outdoor mall once you step inside. We sat at the bar for happy hour, which is only available at the bar which is unfortunate. But somewhat understandable considering how good the discounted menu is. To drink we got a couple refreshing mocktails. Then we got beer battered cauliflower, steak skewers, and the stuffed mushrooms. All weren't too rich while still being melt in your mouth. I'd reorder all three again! The service is great too, very attentive. We skipped dessert, opting for Salt and Straw across the way.

Yelp
FOOD: 5 star, excellent SERVICE: 3.5 star, severe lag, but friendly AMBIANCE: 5 star, upscale Came here on a Friday night to celebrate Mother's Day. We immediately loved the tasteful and upscale entrance. Velvet green couches with gold accents, multiple floral arrangements, ooo la la, delightful to the eye! Bathroom has a unique ceiling of flowers - do check it out! Server took us to the table, took drink orders and it was about a 30 minute wait to get anything over. Granted it was a Friday night at 7pm, prime time, but I'd expect staffing to be better equipped to handle rush hour dining. The food and drinks was INCREDIBLE and definitely a reason for us to return again and again. Beautiful presentation, unique use of spices, the dishes are Michelin star-worthy. Lychee martini - had hints of rose, lemon, lavender. Came with flowers on it, so pretty! Butternut squash gnocchi - don't skip out on this appetizer, it was the best gnocchi I've ever had, bar none. At the table we ordered all 3 types of salad. We agreed that the beet salad was the most flavorful and fun to have, gorgeous plating and very fresh. I had the mushroom risotto which was epic! Others got skirt steak, salmon, lobster, burger, and lamb. We all left very happy. My family's favorite desert here is the bread pudding. I'll have to save room for dessert next time. We'll be back! :)

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I would definitely return. The restaurant is located where Mikuni's used to be at the Fountains. It is beautifully decorated and also has a good vibe. I made reservations for two on a Thursday for inside, but we opted to sit outside since it was very loud inside in the back room. My friend and I ordered the artichoke hearts, butter lettuce salad and I got the salmon. I liked the artichoke hearts and also butter lettuce salad, but I felt my salmon was a little over done for my liking. They have a full bar and so we ordered a couple of drinks. The drinks were very good and also made us feel very giddy afterwards. Great spot for a girls night out. Highly recommend.

Tamara G.

Yelp
The service was really good and the food came out fast. It was all so delicious! I can't wait to come back!

Taylor H.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for our 9 year anniversary and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is cool and chic. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Our service was good even though our server was obviously really busy. I'd absolutely recommend this restaurant, we will be back!

Joseph R.

Yelp
Family visited Sacramento and we decided to drive to Roseville for a few hours. We couldn't really decide where to have lunch but decided to try this establishment. Immediately when walking in, I observed how spacious and intimate the place was. There was a fair amount of people and the establishment was very decivingly spacious - from the outside I thought it was going to be much smaller. We were seated in the back and noticed how comfy the seats were haha. A really old movie was being displayed on one side of wall. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer and I had the rose park beef burger. We were all very satisfied with our meal! Service was great and the servers were all prompt and attentive. Thank you!

Tom S.

Yelp
April 2024 Wednesday evening. 3/4 full dining room. Lots'a customer chatter. The disco dance music is a bit annoying. Espcially loud in the bar area. Thankfully less loud in the back of the dining room close to the walled off meeting room. Bambie ordered airline chicken. She loved it. My skirt steak was good enough. Demerit for arriving to table lukewarm, and quickly grew cold. Wine by the glass selection is small but has some interesting offers. I discovered the Klinker zinfandel which complimented the skirt steak well. 4 stars because the service is impeccable. Attentive, friendly, well informed. We met 4 table side employees. Each was eager to serve and please. Ricotta / pistachio cake was sublime. 1.5 hour experience. $175 for everything. I'm happy enough. Will return.

Leslie B.

Yelp
Food, drinks and service were spot on here. The decor is very pretty, love the green colors! All the food was great but my favorites were the risotto and filet (though I liked the mashed potatoes that was served with the skirt steak). Toffee dessert was a winner and the burrata appetizer was devine. This is a great place to go for an upscale meal. I'd like to go back to try the happy hour menu.

Mary L.

Yelp
What a great find at The Fountains! This cute little Bistro was a nice surprise. We stopped in for an early dinner. Super nice staff ... we had a wobbly table that was quickly taken care of. Our server was helpful in explaining all the dishes that we had questions on and helpful recommendations. We started with the crostini & burrata with fig jam. Tasty, a little on the sweet side. The corn soup was delicious and arrived hot. We shared a salad ( sorry forgot to take pic) the living butter lettuce, Seafood Pallea was flavorful with a side of truffle fires . Finishing off with the ricotta pistachio cake.

Ann H.

Yelp
I am ecstatic that I had the pleasure of dinning at Rose Park Bistro. The lobster ravioli was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor and the creamy sauce. This is likely the best seafood paella I've had. It was full of flavor with lobster, salmon, shrimp, and scallop. I highly recommend this establishment.

Aly A.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for a while now . So glad we finally did . This location is located in The Fountains across the street from the Galleria Mall . Let me start by saying the location is perfect . So my friend invited us to dinner for her 40th birthday party. It was actually a big dinner party of 14 people. Walking in it's a cute intimate restaurant with great vibes love the ambiance. Very clean and organized . The whole staff was amazing we sat at the bar before our dinner and Caitlyn took good care of us . She was friendly and attentive. The drinks are so delicious I got the Queen Bee and Floral Lychee Martini very good ! It was a huge party so we all ordered so many different dishes and we all loved our food I got the skirt steak and it was delicious. It was my friend's birthday they let her bring in two cakes and they put a big candle on them . Our dinning experience was amazing. We all had a great time I highly recommend checking this place out . The food and drinks were delicious with great staff . I can't wait to go back and try more food .

Krystle T.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a birthday and everything we ordered was delicious! We even got a special bday dessert at the end, which was very sweet! The vibe here was high end, not portentous at all. Make sure to make reservations because I can see this place getting busy once the word gets out that their cocktails and food are amazing! All of the servers, staff and even hostess were very friendly and provided excellent service. I can't wait to try the other menu items and come back for the cocktails! See you soon, Rose Park Bistro! And...special thanks to the entire staff for this evening's excellent service, food and draaaanks!

Christine L.

Yelp
Friday night, no reservations needed. Came here for dinner, bar seats for two. Appetizers: grilled artichoke hearts, tasted like canned artichokes, missing some Smokey flavors from the grill, something was off. The octopus carpaccio needed some seasonings, it was extremely bland and dry, our drinks, looked and tasted the same. How strange?! Main: had the lobster bucatini delicious, pasta was cooked al dente! Wish the lobster tail was bigger. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly, under seasoned but moist and juicy. The sides of Brussels were undercooked hard, and bitter. The scallops potatoes were good. Beautiful restaurant, good for a night out with your date.

Dina V.

Yelp
What an amazing experience!! When you first walk in the ambiance says it all- gorgeous decor with so many details. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. We started with the filet minon tartare and it was perfect. Then we ordered a caesar salad, the lamb chops and pappardelle with short rib ragu and OHHHH MY!! Literally devoured every single bite. They surprised my husband with a dessert to top the night. The service overall was amazing and friendly. We can't wait to go back again.

Patrice V.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to celebrate a milestone birthday. Service and food was phenomenal and the birthday girl felt special. Gnocchi was out of this world amazing. Will be back for sure.

Janice M.

Yelp
Lunch Ice Tea & Prickly Pear Mocktail were great. Caesar Salad had the best croutons we've ever had! Pappardelle with Braised Short Ribs was great.

Rose C.

Yelp
Located at The Fountains, we decided to check this bistro out. A spacious front area as you walk in to the restaurant. A trendy bar area along one side of the wall and tables for mostly party of 2 along the opposite side of the wall. The tables were a bit too close together and slightly uncomfortable as you are literally within earshot to the patrons seated at the next table. After a few unintentional awkward eye contacts, we ended up conversing with the nice couple next to us. Service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was good and nicely plated. We enjoyed the char-grilled artichoke hearts and grilled salmon. The lobster bucatini was very flavorful but just a tad bit too salty for me. The warm brioche bread pudding and the red wine poached pear were delectable lovely desserts that concluded our meal on a high note.

Kelly B.

Yelp
This is such a cute place! I came in recently to celebrate cutting 18 inches of hair off. I thought I looked cute and deserved to show myself off, so I did. I sauntered in and was seated immediately at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. For food I got the Brown Butter lobster and shrimp ravioli. Had it been appropriate I would have licked the plate. Then I ordered the blackened salmon which was also delicious. Rich and satisfying. For a drink I got the crisp cucumber refresher. I loved how refreshing it was but the jalepeno offered a nice kick. This would be a fun place to bring a date- be it a solo date or one on one. But it would also be a fun girls night location. Next time I'm thinking the filet mignon because it sounds soooooo good.

Godivagirl N.

Yelp
Our first time Dining at this restaurant. Very nice ambiance and great staff. My broccolini was a little too hard for me, but they quickly fixed and replaced that. We highly recommend and will return.

Keith D.

Yelp
Solid 4.5/5! Me and the wife came on a date night and decided to try this place out. We started off with the burrata which was amazing, some of the best we have had. I had the Golden Opportunity cocktail which was decent a little sweet for me. For mains we went with the lamb chops and mushroom risotto. Both were excellent! We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Our server was also very friendly and helpful.

Mike A.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate my birthday and the food was mostly delicious. The Brussels Sprouts was very tasty and the Filet Mignon did not disappoint. The dessert/birthday cake with sparkles was on point and the cocktail drinks were pretty good. But the only food that we tried and didn't like was the Calamari hence the 4 stars . The service was fantastic from the staff. They made us feel valued and welcomed the whole night. The ambiance was modern contemporary and designed that's very pleasing to the eye. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to celebrate any special occasions.

Shanae M.

Yelp
Today was nice . We sat outside again. I think outside is good for families with kids/littles. Amazing service - John was our server. 10/10 would recommend. So much flavor! Not only is the presentation nice the taste matches. Great job Rose Park

Doug G.

Yelp
I have had the opportunity to eat at the Rose Park Bistro twice in the last couple of weeks. This is a new restaurant and, in my opinion, a plus for the community. It is in the old Mikuni location in the Fountains. Good parking behind the building. Inviting ambiance, casual / modern with comfortable seating at the bar, in the bar and in the dinning room. Service was very good with the exception that it has repeatedly taken a little too long to get drinks from the bar. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and friendly. The menu offers so many unique and tempting options. I want to particularly recommend the Steak Tartar, Tuna Tartar, Lobster Bucatini, and the Seafood Paella. All were fantastic and both the Bucatini and the Paella came with a lobster tail on top. Plated beautifully. Once they get there bartending issues resolved, this will be a solid 5 star restaurant.

Arnel E.

Yelp
We were only able to get a 3:30 reservation with Open Table after booking it the day before. A good rule of thumb for this up and coming bistro is to snag a table a good week prior as they fill up fast, especially during the weekends. We were witness to this entering the restaurant with only three tables being serviced to a fully sat bar and half the room capacity occupied before 5pm on a Friday. Being a new restaurant after taking over the Mikuni Kaizen that occupied this spot for years, they certainly did good aesthetically with a classy vibe that greets you upon entering the door. Libations: Awkward Moment (4 Rose Bourbon) and Mixed Berry Lemonade mocktail. Victuals: Lobster Bucatini and Lamb Chops. F&D were absolutely 5/5! Amber was our server and mixologist for our early dinner, and she did a great job attending to the guests by her lonesome during our brief time here. She even comped our Warm Brioche Bread Pudding when we told her it was our anniversary dinner. We certainly are coming back and hopefully getting our preferred time slot next time.

Brittany B.

Yelp
This was such a cute place! I loved the ambiance and the service. From the moment we walked in, everyone was pleasant and so helpful. We met the manager as he was walking my around greeting guests and checking on the dining experience. Espresso martini was so yummy! We tried a few different dishes but my favorite would have to be the teriyaki steak! Thank you for a wonderful first visit. I will be back. P.S. Ladies, go to the restroom and look up! So cute!

Holly H.

Yelp
A restaurant with an upscale ambiance without the food to match. The food here is fairly simple, characterized by even the first dish I ordered - the soup of the day. The waitstaff was not prepared to talk about the soup of the day and had to stop midway to actually figure out what it was. This could be from the staff/restaurant being relatively new, but it was still surprising. The soup itself was very plain aside from the VERY strong lemon flavor. Otherwise, it was basically a cup rice porridge that I could have made at home. I took a risk by ordering the chicken breast, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't suffer from being too dry like many other places when they prepare chicken breast! The potatoes were under salted but the asparagus was as expected (could be more tender). The bread pudding was also as expected but was a highlight compared to the other dishes since it came out warm (comforting in the winter weather). I ordered more than I thought I'd be able to finish but was still ready to eat more when dessert came along. While some of the prices for the dishes don't seem too extreme, the portions should have been bigger to make it worth the cost. Wasn't too impressed - probably won't be back until there's changes to the menu.

Raul S.

Yelp
Glad to have a restaurant like this in Roseville! The restaurant is very nice inside, great design and amazing ambiance. The staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The food was amazing. This is my new favorite place to have a cheeseburger! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Solid 4.5 stars here, despite some normal soft opening kinks. The old Mikuni's has been very well repurposed into a more modern and sexy dining experience. This a perfect date-night spot. Opening at just the right time to entice holiday shoppers, this tucked away oasis offers comfort, class and delicious offerings. Last minute reservations for a Friday night went off without a hitch, unless a 50 min wait for food after ordering is considered a hitch. Because it was the end of our evening and we were thoroughly enjoying the ambiance and drinks, this was not a big deal. It's a little pricey in comparison to other upscale experiences in the area, but the food was great. Given the location and total first time experience, I'll most likely be coming back frequently.

Yelp
From the service, to the food- everything was just perfection here. We even rocked out to the music they were playing inside. We sat in a comfy corner booth away from everyone, and my partner had the paella, and I had the lamb chops. We had the lobster ravioli for an appetizer- and we cleaned EVERY plate. The flavors were spot on, the seafood perfectly cooked, as well as my lamb precisely at mid rare. Our server Birken was so great, friendly, and we welcomed his recommendations for us. We will 100% be back to enjoy dinner again.

Yelp
Run, don't walk! This is now my new date night in Roseville. Amazing food, drinks, dessert, ambiance, service! Shoutout to Tyler for going above and beyond. Love the food- I got the teriyaki skirt steak and my fiancé got the paella. Both were delicious. For those saying it's not authentic paella, it is not, however it was tasty. Typically authentic paella has head on shrimp and I don't like the heads and eyes on anyways lol. Steak was phenomenal. Get the pear for dessert and thank me later!! So happy this is by my house! Yum!

Yelp
Delicious, beautifully presented food and great selection of drinks. The service was excellent, and we had a delightful dinner. Outdoor seating was perfect, and the ambiance inside was spectacular, though a bit noisy on a Saturday night. Lots of people with families and couples enjoying their evening out. A great menu to explore -- we are definitely coming back...SOON!

Yelp
Not the worse place I've eaten at, but I am definitely not a fan. The food was not gourmet by any means when it comes to both flavor and presentation. The presentation actually reminds me of an amateur home cook who tries fancy plating but fails. The flavor was lacking in just about everything we've tried with nothing special about the combination of ingredients. Oven Roasted Prawns - the prawns itself were well seasoned, but the sauce was mediocre at best. U toasted bread though? Super lackluster and very boring. Living Butter Lettuce - Not much could go wrong with a salad so I'd say this was fine, but comparable to any one that you can easily and quickly toss together at home. Salmon - The fish was not well-seasoned at all with the orzo pasta that's just as bland. Chicken - I'm speechless and not in a good way. Banana Bread - The dessert was the only good food to come out of this place from all the things we've ordered. The texture was actually really addicting and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Topped with ice-cream and caramel sauce, you really just can't go wrong. I also must say...for a place with pretty nice decors, the choice of dinnerware and utensils were just awful. The uncoated ceramic dishes made me feel like I was eating on plaster or a rock. The utensils coating was dull and just appears dirty and dingy. I almost feel a little guilty writing such an honest review because aside from the dessert, the one other thing that was fine was their service. We were greeted warmly and seated prompted. Our server was the right amount of attentive and even split our salad order between us two without us having to request. That was a thoughtful gesture that I did appreciate. It's just too bad that the food wasn't on par with the service. It's not a fine dining experience with the super expensive price tag by any means. However, for an establishment as such, it also shouldn't taste like cafeteria food.

Yelp
From the very start, staff was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was romantic. Classic vibe. The food was served with perfection. Plated beautifully and tasted even better. Fun and delicious cocktails was a great fit for a celebratory evening. The desserts were spectacular.
