Sasha is AMAZING! I was gushing about her all evening to my wife. Girl had me CACKLING! Rose Room is one of the best spots in DFW!!!!

Like Ru Paul's Drag Race? Something every bit (and maybe more!) spectacular happens right here in Dallas weekly - the amazing artistry of the drag QUEENS at The Rose Room. Hosted by the hilariously engaging hostess Cassie Nova and featuring local legends like Krystal Summers with frequent guest performers. Fundamental Christian Republicans are afraid of these ladies because they know they will never be as beautiful as they are! 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

Google
By far the best part of Dallas I’ve experienced yet! Incredible drinks and beautiful talented queens, I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again with more tip money!

Google
Worst drag show ever!!! The so called "host" has been rambling 30 painful minutes. Not entertaining and definitely no funny.

Yelp
Always a complete blast, with a mix of performers who specialize in glamour, comedy, and dancing. If you're not familiar with the scene, it is considered gracious to tip the performers. There's usually only 5-6 girls, who perform in two sets, so if you break a $10 bill beforehand, you will have plenty to give every girl a little love and feel like a champ.

Yelp
Not worth it I do not recommend this. Do not buy their over priced mini drinks go elsewhere oaklawn has plenty of places

Fern S.

Yelp
Eight dollars for a non alcoholic beer. So basically the same price as a regular beer. Basically the cost of the whole case. Thanks for supporting those of us are trying to be healthy on occasion...

Yelp
The people here are so rude. The workers are lunatics about their chairs. A worker literally pulled a chair out from under me because it was in the wrong spot.... the amount of attitude these workers have is absolutely ridiculous. The drag show was great and so fun, but the service and the workers there are so incredibly rude.

Jared P.

Yelp
Very racist manager. Angry and very unprofessional. Will never return. My advice is to do business elsewhere, there are many great bars in the area. This is not one of them.

Yelp
Best drag show in town! It lasted 2 hours and was great. The queens were funny and crowd friendly. They made their way through the crowd and made us feel like we were important. I had several lipstick stains on my cheek which shows all the love they gave me! If you want a seat you better get there early. I was excited to see my hometown queen, Shavonna Brooks, perform there. She's one in a million to see. All the other queens are just as reputable to see! I recommend you at least check this place out for a Saturday Night out.

Yelp
I came here with a few lgbt ftiends since I'm a supporter and couldn't believe how empty the place was. its upstairs inside a big gay nightclub called S4 which was pretty but quite dead only 3 people on dance floor. S4 had a very rude door girl who claimed my friend had too high of a skirt and wouldn't let her in until a male employee did, her skirt was almost touching her knees we felt discriminated but still paid the high price because we wanted to see the drag show. once at the Rose Room we automatically saw the stage was uncomfortably too big undone and un needed and forced us patrons to stand up instead of sit down since we couldn't find 5 empty seats together. when we see drag shows we prefer to sit not stand. drinks weren't that strong and yet pricey but sound and music was great until we ventured to the restroom to get asked if we sold coke by one of their performers who claimed to be an Andrews whatever that meant then she went inside a stall when her dealer walked in. for a place to advertise itself to be high end fabulous it was everything but. show wasn't great except for Layla and Kalexis who were great professionals. we were saddened to not see Maya Douglas still packing this place but I guess life moves on. sadly we won't be returning.

Yelp
The Rose Room talent is great, if not a bit predictable and sometimes underwhelming. The bar staff is absolutely top notch and extremely likable. As it's main attraction, the performers are very proficient at their craft. However, some of the performers tend to rely too much on old standbys and don't change up their performances enough. Some seem to be "working" instead of "performing". The venue has one large looming detraction, bachelorette parties. For some reason, they are given prime reserved viewing areas, they tend to be loud and extremely obnoxious, and they can be very disruptive and unrepentantly so to the performers. Like any other embarrassment, they should be placed in some out of the way corner/area. I mean...they don't even tip well, if they even decide to (which most don't appear to). Overall, it is a great place to relax and blow off steam IF there are no bridal parties which there always seem to be. The drinks and bar staff are fantastic, the seating is in great view of the stage at every vantage, and the music is always pleasantly pulsing. You will definitely have fun, but how much fun depends on you.

Yelp
The Rose Room has come a long room from that small cramped room inside Village Station. Now you can find a nice theater inside S4 on the second floor. The show starts at 11 p.m. on Saturday night, but I would recommend getting there at 9:30, so you and your friends can get a good seat together. Drinks are cheap...I recommend going to the bar to get them as the server usually takes forever. Bring plenty of singles as this is how the ladies (drag queens) make their money. You have to come with an open mind, and you definitely can't be uptight as the show can get raunchy at times. It is equal straight and gay partiers...it is very welcoming to everyone. After the show, you can go down and dance. I have never had a bad time.

Heather L.

Yelp
The Rose Room Theatre is a great venue for drag performances! The ladies have ample space to dance, flirt and grab up tips. They always keep it very clean and its easy to see from any seat... unless you are in the standing room in the back - but thats your own fault for comin in late. Overall, great spot to watch these fantastic performers!

Yelp
Yyyyyyyaaaaaaaaasssssss!!!!!! This place is it! This is where you go to remember to be and act like a lady, if not there are a few Drag queens that will teach you how. The show is fun. The first hostess is hilariously funny, but the second is just loud, and annoying. I've been here 3 times for 3 separate occasions and have never been disappointed. Just one question for the "straight guys" that go, why?

Amy W.

Yelp
S4, ahhh the memories. I remember sneaking in the back door on Halloween about 6 years ago and having my fist taste of the GLBT scene in Dallas. I will say that they have one of the best drag shows I have ever seen! All the queens are funny as hell and make a point to embarrass anyone who look out-of-place or uncomfortable! My favorite queen is of course Krystal Summers... I mean she is really confusing for a lesbian to look at! Too convincing and good looking for her own good. The dance floor is a little too small in my opinion and can be so so crowded, especially during special events. But on regular nights it is sufficient. Warning to the adults: Sundays are 18 and up.... don't go. It is just too much drama with the baby gays 'protecting' their girlfriends and the young guys trying to get attention. Go any other night to enjoy yourself.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Rose room show was amazing! These ladies KILLED it! Wonderful and I can't wait to go back!!

Liam W.

Yelp
I'm only rating this a "3/5" because of its predictability, recycled creative content, and the inevitable, "We've been here for an hour... Can we go yet?" The shows were glamorous, fun, and vastly entertaining for a while, until after the third time you realise that there is a formula, like most phony acts of entertainment. I've always liked that they keep to drag culture; the inevitable "stop lip-syncing and grab dollar bills," the cheeky jokes, and the "make fun of somebody in the audience" crap. The drag community in Dallas is becoming increasingly droll, volatile, and bland. They gun whomever opposes them, give no fucks for respecting our "founding fathers" who gave us out sexual freedom, and make a very disturbing image for the gay community. They try too hard... Too much. Real Divas and Divine Dolls don't exist here, and that's why NYC has shows that are worth my time and effort to see. If you're visiting Dallas, come to Rose Room and see what's in store. If you live in Dallas, wait until the next time you travel to see a show.

Joey W.

Yelp
The Rose Room inside of S4 is hands down the best drag performance venue in Dallas. They have a good cast but my all time favorite performer is the Absolute Gorgeous Chanel LaMasters. You will never see the same show and same costumes from her. She is also extraordinarily funny and a master MC.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
You do not have to pay a cover to get into the Rose Room, since you already pay a cover to get into the actual bar on the weekend. Some people may think you have to pay a separate cover to enter but this is not the case. The taste of entertainment here is always really different and a new experience. It's a fun crowd and great entertainment!! If you love to just hang out, have a good time, and even just people-watch then this is your place. Just don't be shy or shocked to see the occasional drag queen walking by you hehe.

Bo R.

Yelp
Best drag show on earth espicially when cassie if hosting! Plus bobby tbe down stairs bartender makes to best drinks known to man!!!

Carri A.

Yelp
I've witnessed some fine ass drag shows here, but I've also seen some pretty bad ones. So although it may be hit-or-miss, when you find a "hit" night you are in for a super treat. The queens are gorgeous, sassy and fabulous. As they should be. The scantily-clad boys walking around with shots and taking drink orders are great to look at. The musical numbers are phenomenal. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. Some of the best gay entertainment on the block!

Melissa G.

Yelp
Looking for a fun non judgement night out? This is the spot!! It was so much fun! Drinks are a little steep but other than that it was a fun night!

N C.

Yelp
Good vibe. Strong drinks. Spacious. Drag show was fun to watch. Girl checking IDs in the front was friendly and gave us some good advice of the area.

Raven M.

Yelp
just fun! the cover is included in the club cover. Get here early and wait... a loooong time, but you will have a great seat!

Kristen C.

Yelp
So much fun! We went with a big group for a surprise birthday party and they let us in free with the secret password! The bartender was really nice and made a very yummy Pina Colada-ish drink for my mom and offered up a "fancy" Bud Light Platinum for me. The show itself is unbelievable. Funny...Outlandish....Beautiful.... I did roll my eyes when I saw the show didn't start until 11:00. Who can stay up until 11:00 these days? But once the show got underway, I completely forgot about the time. A very special night. We had a blast.

Casey G.

Yelp
Bets drag show in Dallas. Krystal Summers, Jenna Skyy and Asia O'Hara are AMAZING!

Kathy P.

Yelp
Holy RuPaul, folks! This place is a blast. I came with a large group of my girlfriends and their adult daughters for a surprise birthday party. And was she surprised? To steal a line from Clark Griswold, "If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now". The bartenders are awesome and even made a special concoction for me because I am a sissy drinker. The show was outstanding (my first time at a drag show), and the comedy was hilarious, albeit the ad libs got a little raw. But we were forewarned to expect it so it was fine. What made it especially fun was the emcee (in drag) making a big deal of our friend's birthday and talking and joking with her to make her feel really special. In fact, she gave her a new name which she will never live down. Her name used to be Sue, but now it's Sue-Nami. I laughed til my sides hurt, and 1:00am came and went before we knew it. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you're open minded and want to have a rollicking good time, this is the place.
