"Offering an encyclopedia's worth of designers, there's something for pretty much any sensibility at this Los Angeles boutique. We gravitate toward the double eagle rings by owner Kathy Rose, along with the key pendants by Amanda Keidan and Yakira Rona's delicate starfish necklaces."

Buying jewelry is a personal experience, and the way a store treats its customers is just as important as the products they sell. Unfortunately, this store has provided us with consistently poor customer service, to the point where it deserves to be called out publicly. We purchased a ring that they incorrectly resized three times, and after all that, they refused to cover the cost of having it properly repaired elsewhere or even offer an exchange for another item. To make matters worse, their jewelry is overpriced considering the lack of quality service and support. We won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable, customer-focused jeweler.

Great palace to see unique and hard to find beautiful jewelry. You have the hustle and bustle of the surrounding neighborhood and then you walk into the yard of Roseark and you're transported to a quiet zen garden. Always fun to just swing by and talk to everyone.

Yelp
One of the best jewelry stores in the country. It is expensive because it is small production runs if not one of a kind, and exclusive. Like tiny golden sculptures. This is a very special place.

Yelp
I was really excited about seeing their unique jewelry here as I'm from out of state, and am a huge fan of jewelry/artwork. I walked in and there was no one in sight when I first entered. A lady appeared and looked a little surprised, and not the most welcoming. She quickly disappeared through the door, and another lady appeared. She greeted me asking if she could help. I have to say I felt stared down the entire time as if I was going to take something. I did not get the most comfortable vibe. Every time I asked the cost of a piece of jewelry, the lady would run back into a closed room, and come up with an exponentially high cost for a piece of jewelry. For most of the pieces I completely understand as they are large heavy pieces of 18k gold, but for others such as James Banks pieces, particularly a butterfly necklace I was interested in, she quoted me an astounding 1,500$ after returning from the private closed room. Not even 10 min later she ran back to the room and returned again to say that it was 1200$. I looked up the designer and saw the exact same necklace for 695$. The necklace chain was made out of oxidized sterling silver with some 18k gold in the wings of the butterfly. I asked her how the same necklace was less online. At first, she says that they are made different. They looked exactly the same. Then she went on to say that they are the only shop that represents James Banks. I looked up online and found a handful of other locations that also sells the designer's jewelry. I am disappointed in the misinformation, and being followed closely around the shop. I appreciate the lady finally showing me pieces in my price range, but were not exactly what I was looking for. However, I do appreciate the effort she took in showing the other things that were in my budget. I strongly suggest as helpful advice that they should have prices readily available, instead of disappearing into a private closed room to come back with some extravagant cost for piece of jewelry, and then to find it changes 10 min later as in the James Banks Butterfly necklace I was really interested in. Also, please inform clients of the facts of a designer rather then giving out misinformation about this store as being the only place that represents his work. The jewelry, and items in this store are outstanding, just not the customer service, hence the 3 stars.

Yelp
I'm not even going to pretend that I didn't plan part of my family vacation around visiting Roseark. I absolutely did and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I called for an appointment and Brooke made time for me even though my call was very last minute. Not only did Brooke make me feel welcome regardless of my last minute drop in, she was incredibly gracious and knowledgeable about all of the lines Roseark carries. She recognized pieces from other designers I was wearing and was able to point me in the right direction for my budget and tastes. I take forever to decide on jewelery on a normal day and this place is like the Santa's Workshop of jewelery. They carry unique, bold pieces as well as amazingly delicate designs. I spent an hour wandering from display to display and not once did I feel rushed or intimidated, even when I let Brooke know I had a non huge budget to work with. While there are some very pricey (and gorgeous) pieces there are also many affordable (and still gorgeous) ones that will add a great touch to a personal collection and I was able to walk out with a few new additions while staying under(ish) budget. (my fault, not Brooke's) The store also carries some great art and while trying to choose a piece for our son, my husband was actually helped by owner and designer Kathy Rose who was able to provide a ton of background information on the artist in question. I have to admit, I was kind of star struck and wanted an autograph because honestly, that is one talented lady but alas I was a chicken, so no autograph but hey, I have some amazing new bracelets! If you're in the area, go! If you're not in the area, find a way to get there! As for you , Quail bone ring, one day you will be mine!

Yelp
Went to Roseark tonight for a photo exhibit from Elisabeth Bell Jewelry designer Beth Yorn. Beautiful space with fabulous, one of a kind jewelry and clothing items. If you are looking for something special and original this is your place! Prices vary and many items don't have price tags. One of those places where the old adage "if you have to ask you can't afford it," rings true. Definitely a splurge type of joint!

Yelp
On the recommendation of a friend I went with Kathy and the awesome staff at Roseark to create a custom piece for my fiance's engagement ring. They were great about walking me through the process and helping to get the right stones and design picked out. Although I was a pain, and it was a complex process done mostly over email Kathy, Jill, and Rick had great selections and were extremely easy to work with. Oh, did I mention they did this all while I was in a foreign country? The end result was a custom, one of a kind ring. My fiance loves it and the fact that it can not be found in other mass market shops.

Yelp
I am officially hooked on roseark. Recieved the house sideways cross necklace from my dad for christmas and was a little sad when it was a little too tight but thankfully i was able to exchange it for the longer one. Instead of shipping it to exchange my mom and i decided to make the 2 hour drive to check out the store for ourselves. The location is beautiful and pretty cool that you have to get buzzed in. The store itself is incredible so many rooms to check out filled with gorgeous jewelry and art and accessories. I wanted to buy it all. And the girl helping us was sooooo nice. Thank you shelby for all your help and the tour! The sign outside says by appointment only hence having to be buzzed in and i was hoping that i wasnt making her run behind by doing the exchange for me but she didnt rush and even invited us to look around and gave us a tour of the gallery after i got soooo excited about it even tho they were still cleaning up from an event. I am now a roseark fan and cannot wait to make another visit and purchase soon.
