"Trusty Dupont Circle bistro Rosemary’s Thyme has called it quits after nearly 18 years under the same management. Along with pastas, pizzas, and daily happy hour, Mediterranean dishes included fish, Turkish kebabs, and flatbreads. A tree-lined patio was a popular spot for al fresco brunching." - Tierney Plumb

The food here is amazing if you love thyme. My hubby had the lamb chops appetizer and loved them. I had the calamari and it was really good, different from any calamari I've ever eaten. For dinner he had the lamb burger. He said the patty itself was a little small but tasty. I had the chicken schnitzel. The crust was delicious but there was a little too much gravy for my liking. We loved sitting outside. The neighborhood is quite charming, and the service was fantastic!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! They have a range of Mediterranean and Italian food that seemed a little confusing, but their food is very good! Rosemary Thyme has a very relaxed vibe with friendly staff and delicious pasta. Nothing fancy, but the homemade pasta was super tasty, and prices are very reasonable. Certainly coming back soon.

Let's start with CLOTH NAPKINS... So few places understand the importance of having something decent to wipe your face. We took the menu and recreated a TAPAS menu with a mixture of dishes combined with a very affordable Italian wine. ONE WORD DELICIOUS. Well worth a visit with very attentive staff and in warmer climate a great outdoor seating area. They deserve 5 Stars.

Great little Sunday (any day really) brunch spot on our weekend trip to DC. Friendly and attentive service too!

Excellent happy hour. I was happy to find outdoor seating when I arrived today with the lovely spring weather. The server was friendly and the staff were accommodating. The $20 pitcher margarita or the $30 gold margarita pitcher is defiantly worth the price. The appetizers are delicious. I enjoyed the bruschetta but wish there were more tomatoes on the bread.

Restaurant/ Service: We went in the evening and chose to be seated outside. It’s very comfortable and the weather was nice- so that was a plus. The employees are genuinely kind and accommodating. Food: We had the four cheese pizza, Mediterranean Pida, flan and chocolate baklava. The pizza and pida were delicious! The flan ($6), with a coffee sauce I think, was very smooth, creamy and delightful. Though I think if it were chilled, it would have been better. The baklava ($8) is okay. It’s underwhelming (even with the added chocolate) and leaves this waxy coating in your mouth. It gets 3.5 out of 5. The prices are fair for the most part- especially since the food seems so well prepared. Overall: I definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion! The food, venue and service are wonderful.

This place continues to grow on me. I've been three times now and like it even more each time. Friendly service and reasonably affordable. The food is consistently delicious and well prepared. There are options for all tastes and dietary considerations. Particularly lovely is sitting on the patio on a pleasant evening.
