The Best Croissants in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami

"While Rosetta Bakery calls itself Italian, after a specific bread popular throughout The Boot, it also offers a stellar lineup of croissants. Purists will be happy to overlook the nationality hiccup when sampling them, served plain, with apricot, raspberry, cream, or Nutella." - Alona Martinez

Google
Really charming spot with a great selection of both sweet pastries and savory sandwiches. The bread was top quality — tasted just like Italy. I ordered a pizza, a slice of focaccia, and a Coke, and it came out to around $30. A bit on the pricier side for a quick bite, but the quality made up for it. The atmosphere was lovely, and overall, I had a good experience. Would come back when I’m craving that true Italian bakery vibe.

Rosetta Bakery is an absolute gem! I loved this little place—it’s the perfect spot for a delicious breakfast and coffee. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and everything is well maintained. What truly stands out is the freshness of their menu. Every item is made with care, and you can taste the quality in every bite. They have an excellent selection for breakfast, and I found myself wanting to try more and more! The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who make the experience even better. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or sitting down for a relaxed breakfast, Rosetta Bakery is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

1666 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 In this location, they have an extraordinary service! Always a smile and good manners to serve the customer. Food always fresh and prepared the same day. Good quality and flavor.

Google
There's a reason this place is highly rated. The line was wrapped around outside on an early Saturday morning. This place is counter service, serving Italian style quick bites and drinks. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and fast. Everything is made fresh on site. I wanted to try one of everything, everything looks delicious. I settled on a turkey and Swiss croissant, absolutely scrumptious. I was told the ham croissant was just as delicious. The Nutella croissant was overly decadent. They have really good prices for quality here. Breakfast was so good, I had to come back later in the evening the same day for an after diner dessert. The white chocolate croissant and Nutella bombolone are just as exceptional. Well worth the indulgence.

This place was INSANE! If you love quality, homemade baked goods & pastries with a nice latte this place is for you. I got the Nutella croissant and a vanilla cream croissant. The Nutella one was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I only had one bite of the vanilla one but it was also amazing. The croissants were buttery, flakey & perfect. Plus all of their other stuff looked amazing!! Wish I could have tried more.

Enmanuel and Maday were so attentive and courteous! They explained the options and flavors of all we all we asked! I can’t wait to be back with my friends! We had pistachio deserts and coffee as well pizza of mostly all options! So delicious!

Google
There was mold in the bread. I usually don’t leave the bad reviews, We just threw it away when we came back to our hotel and saw the molds. Matcha latte was the worst ever also. I think they are using very cheap matcha powder that you cannot even taste the matcha at all!! Worst place ever !

Yelp
Walking around south beach in Miami and saw this really nice bakery. Stopped by to check it out and decided to get one of their flat breads! It wasn't the craziest thing I've had but the bread was definitely made fresh. It was super fluffy and airy. Love the look of inside. You pay up front at the cashier then take a seat. Chill place for a quick eat!

Yelp
This bakery is very cute! All the staff was Italian when we came in so you know it's going to be good! The place has tons of seating both down stairs upstairs and outside. My friend and I split an almond croissant and egg frittata. Both were good, not the best I've had but it worked for us!

Yelp
Orange juice is made fresh, but depending of the time, you might get juice made sometime during the day, so it won't be sweet (it will taste like Tropicana juice). the sandwiches are delicious (the ham is sweet) , the pastries are nice (I tried a lemon meringue one that was fantastic) but the eclair was stale. The bombolone is a very nice dessert ; not too big and not too small. But the low rating is due to a staff member called Julieth. She has no customer service skills. Her back was turned to the customer (me) the whole time, and when I managed to get her attention to ask about something, she looked at me annoyed, answered and quickly walked away. Mind you, there were no other customers there and it wasn't closing time. Someone else helped me and she stood at the cashier. After I paid, that robotic woman simply handed me the receipt without a single word and no eye contact. I went there again the following day and she was acting the same way; avoiding customers and being monosyllabic when "forced" to interact with customers. Why that woman works at Rosetta's is a mystery to me. She is probably related to the manager or owner , because there is no way anyone would want that woman dealing with customers.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good Italian bakery, and Rosetta did not disappoint! I actually came here two mornings in a row for coffee and a pastry, as I was staying across the street. The cream filled bombolone is delicious!!

Yelp
Rosetta bakery is the best bakery in South Miami beach. All of the baked goods are made in-house. My favorite things to eat are any of the croissants, but the one filled with Nutella always makes the top of my list. The pastry filled with custard vanilla creamy and topped with fruit is dreamy. I would also recommend their prosciutto sandwich. they are generous with the sliced hamand cheese. It balances well with the buttery, flaky, and airy croissant. Of course, you should always order their fresh squeezed orange juice and a latte. Every time we go to Miami, this is a must go to stop to indulge in my sweet and savory cravings.

Yelp
Everything look delicious got a sandwich and a croissant I could eat this everyday. Friendly staff and nice set up inside

Yelp
I love a good bakery and oh boy, Rosetta Bakery is a GOOD bakery. We walked in on Friday morning and the place was packed and the door just kept on opening. The order process is a bit confusing. If you just want coffee then you can go up to the counter. If you'd like something in their pastry case, then you need to order it with the workers near the case and then you go to the register. I didn't like this so much because I felt rushed when ordering my pastries since the workers are standing right there waiting for you to tell them what to order. We ordered three drinks and it took them awhile to make them and the processing was also confusing. They don't ask for your name or give you a number. They just call out the drink and you can easily mistake someone else's drink for your own. It's also not the easiest to understand everyone because of the thick accents. We ordered one of their sandwiches and several different types of pizza, everything was sooooo good. The focaccia was incredibly soft and flavorful. I wished I had room for dessert because they looked divine. It's a great spot to grab something quick to eat or a snack/treat for later.

Yelp
If you're staying in South Beach, this is the best place to pick up a quick breakfast pastry and coffee. The chocolate croissant is to die for (be sure to grab napkins). Great iced coffee too. They have indoor seating if you'd like the a/c - also great for working! There's also outdoor seating in the front (not totally on the street bc it's blocked by plants)

Yelp
My favorite bakery in the area! Always come here for breakfast when staying in this area of Miami Beach (much better than an overpriced hotel breakfast) and just had to finally leave a review. I have tried both the pastries and the savory items and their coffee bar is on point. The line can get long in the morning but they move along fast and friendly. You will notice that on any given day there will always be some Italians stopping by, so that should say it all!

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Rosetta. If it's a bakery you're looking for, Rosetta will only exceed your expectations! Everything is so fresh, and so is the ambiance. Quick service, and great prices. Always a nice place for a great pastry, nice sandwich, or an on the go snack!

Yelp
I usually follow the lines to determine where to eat. Stopped by because it was down the street from our hotel. We popped in even though it was pretty empty. Grabbed cappuccino, latte and croissant. Croissant had a buttery , sugar glaze. One of the best I've ever had. Everything is made in house and you can see the bakers doing their magic in the back. As we left, the bakery filled up with a line out the door which of course, only confirmed we made the right choice.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We got a margarita pizza, a curcuma bread sandwich with prosciutto, arugula, and tomatos. To drink we got an iced latte and an iced americano. Lastly, we got treccia topped with fresh fruit and custard. The service was fast and friendly. The pizzas bread was soft and so good and the cheese and sauce was just right. The sandwich had a nicely baked yellow bread which was sesame seed covered and the prosciutto was the best he ever had! The treccia had a citrus like bread and cream custard with tarted fruits! The environment was also really calm and not too packed with places to sit and enjoy your food. The cost was $35.00 for all this food.

Yelp
The service was very subpar but they made up for it with this delicious almond cake ! I also got a latte which was pretty average but like I said the almond cake definitely made up for the rest.

Yelp
The best piece of margherita pizza i've had, extremely fresh and the cheese was gooey in all the right places. The service was amazing super friendly and the location was tidy as can be. The gentleman juicing the oranges won me over with a fresh cup of oj. So glad i saved it to be the last spot of my miami trip. It's a must visit!

Yelp
My husband and I were staying at a hotel down the street and found this place on Yelp. We enjoyed the food and convenience so much that we visited twice in three days. This place gets busy in the mornings but we never had to wait very long. It's walking distance from the beach and was easy for us to grab and take our food to eat which we sat by the water. My husband and I got prosciutto croissants, Nutella bombalone (Italian donut), potato pizza(?). The prosciutto croissants were AMAZING. Omg. The butteryness of the croissant was to die for. The Nutella bombalone was good but not the best thing I've ever had. It's a lot of breading for the same amount of Nutella that comes with it. The potato pizza thing that we got we decent but nothing to write home about. Maybe if we had eaten it right when it was warmed, that might've made a difference but it didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it. We also ordered coffees to go. The coffees are simple, nothing crazy so don't expect to be able to order drinks like you would at a regular coffee shop. The only flavor they have to add in was mocha. The first time we visited, they didn't have any ice to make iced coffees. There isn't much seating inside, a couple of high top tables that can sit 4-6 people. There was some tables outside though for additional seating. Overall, I would recommend this bakery!

Yelp
Love this bakery the Nutella croissant is out of this world very yummy. They have many varieties of party and pizza as well. I also love the sandwiches here it's made fresh daily and they are really good. Easy to run in and get what you want and take to the beach. The coffee is just ok but everyone is really good. prosciutto sandwich is must have. The service is really good as well nice workers. Meow meow

Yelp
A must-stop bakery if you're traveling in the area. All of their baked goods were delicious (esp the Guava one) and unique. Plenty to choose from for sandwiches and breakfast items.

Yelp
If you're in Miami Beach and needing your coffee or pastry fix, this is the perfect place for you! Came across this hidden gem on a morning, walk, a block or two away from the beach. They were very efficient with their service. The staff however seemed a bit stressed and I didn't see many smiles or small chitchat for the friendliest vibe, but in no way were rude. Items were a bit pricey, but who are we kidding, it's Miami Beach, everything is overpriced. $30 for 2 pastry items, an iced coffee and chai tea latte. Quality was on point (both drinks and food were delicious!!), and some of the pastries were very generous on the serving size. Definitely give it a try if you're close by! You will not be disappointed! All in all, I would definitely go back if I was in the area, however, I don't know that I'd go out of my way to go back, but that's just me -- still 4/5, so could be a 5/5 for you!

Yelp
This is a very pretty bakery. Depending on what you order, it can be very reasonable (small soft bread sandwiches are only $3.6) or expensive (my daughter wanted to try the panna cotta and the profiteroles, and that combination was $16). The offerings were all a little too sophisticated for my kids. My son only took a tiny bite of his Nutella bombadine, my daughter only ate about 15% of her panna cotta and a bit of a single profiterole. I bought the orange watermelon cold pressed juice, and they kids wouldn't drink it because the watermelon was pretty unripe. My husband and I both had whole grain bread sandwiches with jamon and cheese. They had a good amount of good quality jamon, and they were delicious. I then snacked on my kids' rejected sweets, while they ate crackers and soda for their breakfast. Sigh. So, go if you don't have little kids. Otherwise, find a less fancy place because your kids won't appreciate the very expensive pastries.

Yelp
The self-service staff were fast and friendly. The pastries , orange juice , and cappuccino were tasty. A good place for a fast breakfast in the south beach. Their heater doesn't work well. After two times heating up, our pastries were still cold. Also, their quiche needed some more salt and when we asked, the answer was they didn't have salt! Overall, a good place with tasty pastries. But you can find better options in the south beach.

Yelp
Tasty sandwich! I had one with prosciutto meat which I really enjoyed. Very aesthetically pleasing how they have everything on display.

Theresa Y.

Yelp
Stop here in the morning and pick up a cup of brew coffee and a pistachio croissant and eat it on the beach. The pistachio cream inside croissant was like eating dessert for breakfast. It was a perfect balance to my black coffee. Everything I tried here made me come back again. The raspberry filled croissant, the prosciutto sandwich, the herb focaccia were all worth coming back again for.
google avatar

Paloma M.

Yelp
They always have beautiful and delicious pastries and goods. Their focaccia is scrumptious.

Yelp
Stopped by real quick yesterday to grab something for breakfast. My daughter had stayed at the beach with friends to celebrate prom and we went to pick her up and I needed a coffee and breakfast food., So the closest bakery was this one and boy was it delicious! I will definitely be going back to try some of their other pastries and sandwiches. I had a croissant with turkey and cheese and surprised my daughters with a croissant filled with Nutella. I was able to try a tiny little piece before they devoured it and I just say, the croissant was perfectly done. Flaky and buttery. Just perfect! Then add the deliciousness of the Nutella and you have yourself a little bit of heaven on a plate. My sandwich was very good. Can't wait to go bac
google avatar

Yelp
We came here while in Miami and really enjoyed the food! While slightly pricey, the food was very good! There was plenty of outdoor seating and some seating indoors as well. They had such a large selection of menu items too! Overall we enjoyed coming here and would recommend stopping by if you have the time!
google avatar

Yelp
Honey!!!!!!! Run- do not walk to this bakery. I was in the area waiting on a flight later in the day and followed my nose to find the delicious smells coming from this bakery. I grabbed a small lemon meringue tart and an apple pastry and the sales person asked: "are you sure you want a small?" I should've taken that as a hint that these things were magical. The aesthetic, decor and staff were all wonderful but the PASTRIES are nothing short of a blessing. The lemon tart is the best that I've ever had in my life. (SERIOUSLY)

Yelp
Environment nice inside aventura mall 5/5 Prices very reasonable 5/5 Food quality great 5/5 Service self order quick and easy

Yelp
Located on Collins near Sagamore, this cafe features a window of Italian focaccia, pastries and other fresh bread that is enticing. The caffe latte was a cappuccino. But it was a nice cappuccino, flavorful, artistic milk swirls. A focaccia with mushrooms and potatoes was flavorless except the focaccia. It was pretty good. Like many places in Miami, for English speakers, be clear and slow when speaking. Staffing it one of the biggest issues. This place has a nice group, if you don't speak Spanish or another Romance language be patient.
google avatar

Yelp
Italian! Let me say it again...Italian! That is the vibe you get from this mom and pop bakery in SOBE! Giuseppe and Lira do a phenomenal job baking from 4 am to close just to make sure you and I are caffeinated and sugared. Chocolate croissant? Yep, espresso, yep. Italian being spoke? Double yep! I had to buy a Rosetta book just to figure out what to order! So transport yourself to Umbria the way of SOBE and get som culture why don't cha!

Yelp
Always a good choice. Service is very fast and efficient. This time We had an egg and spinach focaccia. An olive focaccia and let's not forget about the extraordinary Nutella croissants. You don't need to go to Europe for these croissants they're that good. The croissant was a perfect beach afternoon and pick me up.

Yolanda T.

Yelp
Now they new management and the lady doesn't care to put the music aloud, it use to be a nice place to hang out . But with the type of music now is not a good place.
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
This place did the trick in a pinch. I'm not gonna say it was particularly great pastries or coffee, because I don't believe it particularly was. The almond pastry was quite yummy, though! I definitely wouldn't recommend the focaccia, but other than that, nothing was aggressively bad. If you need a pastry in a pinch, this place will do the trick!

Erin H.

Yelp
The pastries, coffee and fresh orange juice were delicious. We visited during our first evening in Miami and then came back for breakfast the following morning. All the baked goods were excellent, but there was one female staff member in the am that was very inpatient with customers, including my husband, so 5 starts for food and 2.5 for customer service. Ambience and atmosphere were comfortable.
google avatar

Annette F.

Yelp
I love this bakery from the first time I tasted their small delicious desserts to the last time I picked up a sandwich - half price the last hour of the day. It's great when we get off work after being on our feet for 3-4 hours. Service is usually really good and friendly. But ... last night, everything went awry. We get there a few minutes after 8 (the sign on the door said closing was at 9). The surley survey promptly told us that closing was at 10, we could not get our bargain half price foccacia. Too bad for us ... At least the young lady could have had a smile on her face.

Yelp
I like Rosetta, we have been to this location a couple times. The one thing I don't like about this place is that even though they have coffee mugs but the staff doesn't like using them unless you specifically ask them to use it and say please! I like my espresso and cappuccino in a coffee mug (not disposable cup). Besides that the pastries are delicious. Parking is complicated but that's normal because it's south beach. Regardless I will come back but there is a place a couple stores down that I want to try first before coming back.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I came in yesterday morning only to be TEMPTED by the incredible array of baked goods and sandwiches they had. I got an oat milk iced coffee after my run and it absolutely hit the spot. The coffee tasted great! I would suggest the staff be a bit more communicative or verbal when helping customers though, as an order line or pay line was not defined, then as one woman finished serving a group in front of me she just went to brush off breadcrumbs off of a chopping board and ignored me. Service in hospitality is everything. Don't let it be your downfall!
google avatar

Paulette D.

Yelp
This place is the BEST. Our hotel was walking distance from this place and we literally went here everyday for brunch/lunch. We got their fruit tarts, Nutella croissant, and a cannoli for sweets. We also ordered their focaccia sandwiches, croissant sandwich, and pizza. All were amazing. If you're in town, you literally have to go. No regrets to be made

Yelp
Rosetta Bakery is probably one of the best bakeries in South Beach / Miami area. They have everything a bakery normally has but Rosetta makes it better! If you have a sweet tooth, you can get one of their filled croissants or a fruit tarte! If you are feeling more savory, you can order a caprese sandwich or a focaccia. They also offer coffee, espresso, cappuccino and lattes made with regular milk or almond! It was so tasty!!! Everything is made fresh in house which is my favorite part of Rosetta. They even offer 50% off all baked goods in the last hour of the day - I believe it's from 9 pm to 10 pm!
google avatar

Radhika P.

Yelp
Nice bakery located in a convenient area. We tried different pasties and the pizza. The little Nutella bite they have is a must try item. Pizza was not good in our opinion. Margarita pizza was just a cheese and lacked flavor. They were extremely sufficient and handled a busy shop perfectly.

Yelp
Beautiful looking pastries at this fancy Italian bakery. It's not cheap, as far as pastries go. But having a pastry + coffee is a more reasonably priced breakfast than many of the full breakfast options around here. Nutella Bombolone: You could pretty much put Nutella on anything and it will be amazing. This was basically a huge doughnut with Nutella inserted from the top. Though it looks overflowing from the outside, it doesn't run very deep. But since Nutella is kinda intense, if you spread it around, it works. Pistachio Croissant: Not as common as Nutella, but sweet pistachio spread (no chocolate) is pretty darn delicious. It was a generous portion and a little goes a long way to jazz up the flaky croissant. All and all, I think I actually liked this more than than nutella bombolone. Berries Sfoglia: A little fruit tart with custard, the bottom is a flaky almost croissant like texture. I actually liked that more than the regular dense buttery tart shell. And the fruit as very fresh. It was especially cool to see some orange colored cape-gooseberries among the typical berry mix. Focaccia w/ Prosciutto & Cheese: For the savory, there is this focaccia with prosciutto, cheese and some thin zucchini strands. A decent amount of topping that this almost feels like a pizza rather than a focaccia.

Yelp
Delicious pastries and very friendly service too! We walked by here almost daily and love seeing all the wonderful pastries they have displayed on the window. They have a couple of tables for sitting outdoors. We got our pastry to go and it was fresh and delicious. I wish they had more gluten free options though. The sandwiches and savory food looks very tasty as well.

Yelp
Wow! The selection. The freshness. The atmosphere. All amazing. We loved it because they had something for everyone. From sweet to savory, we loved everything we got! We even went back for seconds! Definitely a must when in South Beach!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute bakery with a big selection of pizzas and pastries that are made fresh. I enjoyed everything we ordered (almond cake, focaccia bread, and pizza with potato). I love that they cut the pizza and cake to make it easy to share.
google avatar

Yelp
When I'm in Miami I have this place at least once. I think it's a great place to just chill for a minute if dining in, grab a quick bite. It's affordable, the food is good and the portions are good for the price as well. If you have a sweet tooth definitely check out some of the desserts. They're always friendly and the place is always very clean. I've been to both locations in South Beach when I've been there.
google avatar

Amanda Patricia G.

Yelp
I just went to buy some desserts . The attention was good and the service was fast. I didn't like the atmosphere very much because the place is small and fills up easily. The quality of the desserts was excellent.

Rebecka N.

Yelp
Everything looked SO delicious and we were eager to try several items. We ordered five pastry items and one filled focaccia for a total of $47.83! While I wasn't a fan of the flavor/texture of the tart, the items were good, but not $48 good. We wouldn't return. It just wasn't worth it. Staff was friendly. Inside was crowded with chairs and a counter right by the front door making it hard to get in and out.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
This place was located across my hotel so we went for breakfast one morning. Lots of options. Everything is freshly baked and they're constantly putting out fresh items. I got the cream filled donut and it was so delicious.

Nat R.

Yelp
Rudest staff ever, I walked in and politely said hello and the woman behind the counter looked me up and down and rolled her eyes, and never spoke a single word to me. The tables are dirty and unkept. Rating them 1 star is far too much!
google avatar

Yelp
Dreams come true when it comes to sweets. On the hunt to find the sweetness to Miami! Yelp is my bff when it comes to my tummy. Only 2 blocks away and omgeeee gluttonous galore. So much to choose from. Peep out photos.
