⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — First time at Rosewood Bar and Grill This was my first time visiting Rosewood Bar and Grill, and even though everyone else had already been, I really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was lively, especially because of the bar, which gave the place a great energy — though it was pretty packed. The food was delicious! I had the beef, and it was cooked perfectly. The service was also excellent — very friendly and attentive staff, even with the crowd. The only downside was the wait — I had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, but that’s understandable given how busy it was today. Still, it was worth it. Fantastic food at reasonable prices, they always have a rotation of specials that are awesome too! Had the shrimp and grits special tonight which was delicious.

Stopped in here last Wednesday on a short trip through town. Everything was really delicious and the atmosphere was fun yet cozy. Service was excellent! Grilled Salmon, Rice, Green beans and hot buttered rolls with Cinnamon Butter. Delicious!

We have been there twice now and got there right around 5 pm. It fills up really quickly starting at 5! The servers are friendly and attentive and the food is good and the vegetables taste really fresh. I had the Ribeye sandwich this time and my husband had the Fish Orleans. The flavor of the sauce is excellent and the fish was cooked just right and not a hint of fishing’s. I ordered the steak medium thinking it was going to be a thicker cut but it was a thin cut so I should have ordered it medium rare.

Really enjoyed eating here.

Me and my brother arrived party of two at 7:30 on a Saturday. We waited 45min for appetizer and 90min for a steak that never came. We grabbed the check and left without eating.

My husband and I ate here last night. Ten minutes after we ordered, another couple comes in. That couple got their food, ate their food, had 2 bags of to go food brought to their table. We still haven't gotten our food. I asked the waitress why. She tells me they are packed. My ass, 3/4 of the tables were empty. Took us 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us. And I told to bag it. Another couple beside us told me it took 45 minutes for the one meal they ordered and shared. I won't go back. Horrible service.

You can tell you have to be a local to get good service here. Food was really good but service super slow and servers were just lounging around the bar area while bartender was running food, drinks, and bar backing by herself. Locals sat at the bar next to us and got attention immediately and we waited a good 20 min to ask for menus and drinks.

Was in Lebanon overnight for a work trip, and it's fairly rural so rosewood was one of the better rated places in the area. Got the filet, with roasted veggies and a sweet potato. Of course since I was in bourbon country, I got an old fashioned as well. My waiter, Ashley, was so lovely. They accidentally brought out cinnamon sugar butter for the sweet potato when I asked for regular, and she noticed it when she set my food down. Filet was seared and cooked perfect, it could have been better seasoned, I had to add some salt.

When in the Lebanon, Ky area and looking for steak and a strong bourbon list I came across Rosewood Bar & Grill. It's located on the property of the Rosewood Golf Club. The restaurant is open to the public. The visit was on a Saturday around 730 PM and they were packed! I was able to score two seats at the bar for myself and wife. The noise was overbearing. The dining room is nothing fancy with little to no decor. The bar had room for approximately 15-18 guest. Our bartender got menus and waters to us quickly and gave us time to review. Very noteworthy was the amount of alcohol flowing from the bar, I mean Whoah! Also the most popular drink in Bourbon Country was surprisingly a Margarita. So my wife had to get one and thought it was good, nothing crazy. The bourbon menu was excellent, however pricing for the allocated bottles were pricey. I decided to pass. I ordered a ribeye with sweet potato and steamed veggies. My wife chicken. With baked potato and steamed veggies. They have a well rounded menu. The wait was a bit long, maybe 35 min or tad more. But we were in no hurry, so no complaints. The entrees both looked great upon delivery. The sweet potato with plenty of cinnamon butter was phenomenal! So too were the steamed veggies. The steak was average and lacked flavor. For the price the steak was a big disappointment. It required a lot of A1. My wife enjoyed her meal. The service was pretty average with no check on steak, temps etc. until well over half was finished. Total visit was over and hour and you could see the dining room was clearing out. The bill was no bargain mainly due to the steak. My card was processed quickly, but no thank you for dining with us type of tag line at the end. As much as I wanted to provide a 4 star it really adds up to a 3.5 and I'm rounding down. I would still return if in the area because there are few choices.

Service was friendly. Food was delicious. We shared onion rings which were a hit. I had a fried chicken sandwich with a yummy sauce - Nick's chicken sandwich. It came with two sides. I chose a baked potato (which was huge) and steamed vegetables (a good sized bowl of zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots. Others had salmon or pork chops or chicken strips or catfish sandwich or sirloin burger. Everything looked good. Place was really hopping since a huge group of prom goers gathered for dinner before the dance.

Waited 30 minutes for Service, waiter passed us by and waited on 3 other tables than came in after us, I could understand slow service if crowded but we were intentional ignored, we walked out and will not be back.

I have to say, that despite the menu being a little tired as far as entree offerings go--I liked it! We came to Lebanon to stay at an Airbnb which was conveniently not even two minutes from the country club which is where this was located. It's a very popular place in the summer! Lots of people filing in after a day on the golf course. You might want to make a reservation! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is lovely. They have an extensive selection of bourbons--very good ones also! We have been here three times and the food was really good as well the service. You won't be disappointed!

Great to sit out on the deck and have a couple of beers with dinner. The home made salad dressing was great. Service was good.

Solid food with great view on the patio. Its a bit loud inside. Overall it was a good experience but the service, although very friendly, was very very slow. So plan on a few extra minutes for dinner

It's in a country country club--if you know what I mean by that. Excellent, flavorful steak and baked potato. Steak was properly cooked. Nice place and the waitstaff are friendly.

Nice place that has a bourbon problem. Man the bar has a stock of all flavors and price points. That being said the food is pretty good. Went with a filet that was very tender and cooked perfectly. Staff was very helpful - nice place for a bite.

Excellent Rib Eye with baked potato and salad. Be sure to have the derby pie with ice cream and hot fudge too!

Herb crusted salmon is fantastic. Place only issue is it's too noisy with wood floors and no sound deadening. Our waitress Sarah was very friendly and attentive to us.

Located on the golf club the restaurant is the place where the local money eats. The food is expensive but high quality and the lack of dining room carpet makes it feel more like a high class cafeteria. The portions are large and the quality of the food is very high indeed, no shortcuts here. My waitress was one of the most efficient I have experienced. A couple of things let it down badly which is why its 3 stars and not 4. They have NO CRAFT BEER. Just the usual children's swill. Great if you are living in the 1980's but here in 2021 it sucks big time. The parking is no where close to the building. To get from the poorly laid out parking area you have to dodge speeding golf carts in the same area. I was nearly clipped on my walk inside and since cars cannot pull up to the restaurant door you take your life in your hands to get inside. Not recommended for anyone old, infirm or disabled. Safety seems a low priority here.

By far the best food around! I drive from a County over frequently backs the food and atmosphere is great! Food is fresh, chef inspired, and they have nice specials each weekend. I highly recommend the spinach dip appetizer, fired up shrimp, and Philly cheesesteak sandwich.

This is My favorite local restaurant, most of their dishes are recipes homemade right there in the kitchen, meaning they don't cut corners, everything comes out fresh and delicious. Wait staff is always friendly. The restaurant can get a little noisy, so I always enjoy sitting outside when weather permits. Can't get a bad meal there. Their small and large banquet rooms are so nice for parties as well.

Rosewood is a great dinner spot if you're in the Lebanon area. Their food is fresh and flavorful. I think it is a great value for your money between the food quality and serving sizes. They have a really good sauce called fired-up sauce, which is along the lines on bang bang sauce from bonefish. This is the sauce on Nick's special chicken sandwich, which is a favorite for our family. I've gotten the Alfredo both times and wasn't disappointed. Great service and always nice to support a local business.

Had the salmon En Papillotte (a special today) with cilantro-lime rice and it was outstanding. Had to have an old fashion with Bulleit Rye. Service was excellent from Sophia. Will be back next time when I am in town for work.

There aren't too many fine dining establishments in the Lebanon, KY area. I checked out the Yelp information for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Because it's located at the Rosewood Golf Club, I wasn't sure if you had to be a member to go to the restaurant. No mention was made that you had to be a member. It's a pretty nice golf club from what I hear... but I was here to have dinner. The waitress was very friendly and attentive in refilling my drink. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, side salad, and the pork chops with pineapple habanero sauce. The shrimp cocktail was the first to arrive and it was served in a large glass with cocktail sauce. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. There was no rubbery taste to it which is a good indicator that the shrimp is not fresh. The salad greens were fresh looking and not wilted. There is nothing worse than getting a side salad and see that the salad is wilted, some of the leaves are darkened and soggy, and there is no crispness. But, the main attraction was the pork chops and OMG it was soooo good. The pork chops were cooked to perfection and I'm not sure if the habanero sauce was supposed to be on the top but I asked for it on the side. The sauce was a perfect compliment to the pork chops. Its fire starts out very subtle with a slight kick, but the kick incrementally grows as you dip the pork chop pieces into it and chomp away. I admit, I had to pause, sip some water, and take a few bites of the pork chop without the sauce as I started to feel the emergence of flames in my mouth... but this was the good kind of flames if that makes sense. The sauce was addictive but I had to pace myself. There was a good blend of sweet and savory with a kick of habanero. I came early so there were only other 2 tables occupied at this time. I'm not sure if I beat the dinner rush or was it just a slow day. This is a fairly small town but I can tell you that this restaurant was definitely a diamond in the rough.

I'm originally from Lebanon, but have been gone over 15yrs...over the last few years I've heard about Rosewood from my sister that works there. I'm not biased by any means, the food is really good. I never really cared for Spinach Artichoke dip, but their's is phenomenal AND so are the pita chips/bread served with it. Potato skins & fired up shrimp are both delicious too. I had a bday dinner there last year for my mom & then myself & all of our guests were pleased. Last weekend I ordered the blacked cod (really good) and fried potatoes & onions (average, my mom's are WAY BETTER). Only critque...sweet tea needs to be sweeter & space is nice, but somewhat small. My sister is a great server, ask for Autria! (No she didn't pay me to write that!)

Oh my... what an awesome place. Came here on the suggestion of the hotel front desk, and they did not lead me wrong! I had a perfectly cooked 16 oz ribeye with grilled veggies. Great friendly service throughout the whole dinner! I would highly recommend going to the Rosewood Bar and grill to anyone staying in the Lebanon/central KY area. If your in town for the Bourbon trail.... stop here for diner!

I have never had a great meal at a country club restaurant, until now! Great food, great service, and great people. We ate there 2 nights in a row, both nights it was great. Our club in Atlanta could use their expertise, and special attention.

I went on the bourbon trail tour with some buddies. The hotel highly recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint! The food and drinks were fabulous and the staff were very attentive and friendly. It was so good we went back the next night!

The husband and I were doing a bourbon tour close and decided to stop in for dinner. And we will definitely be coming back! We were seated and waited on immediately and our server was wonderful! My husband had a ribeye and asparagus. He said both were cooked to perfection and tasted great. I had the herb crusted salmon with lemon dill sauce and a baked potato. The salmon was cool just right and the sauce was heavenly. We will be making the 45 minute drive back!

Great food. Drinks were average - noise level.... can't hear yourself think!! Servers and bartenders were super nice.

Excellent experience. Ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and gray spices. I judge a lot by baked potatoes, and mine was freshly cooked, had definitely not been sitting in hot drawer. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Agree with other ratings that it was definitely loud, but that did not take away from the experience. Highly recommended.

Nice appetizer selection, good menu, great selection of drinks. Classy and casual all at the same time. A comfortable upscale atmosphere that's a good hang out or a nice romantic dinner.

This place is a hidden treasure! It is a cozy place to meet with friends and/or family and have a nice dinner. They grill the best ribeye steak I have ever had! Jennifer is the best waitress; fast, friendly, and efficient! Everyone makes you feel at home each time you walk through the doors!

The food was fantastic and the service great. Just had one of the best steaks in this cool little Kentucky town. Lebanon, KY has a Jem in Rosewood Bar and Grill! I WILL be back. The spinach dip was fresh, hot and delicious! Loved it.

I hate to leave this review because, dummy me, I didn't take a picture of my meal; it was... RIDONCULOUS!!!!! I had the pork chops with pineapple habanero sauce and with added mushrooms and onions on top. Even the guy next kept asking what I was having and how it was (I also caught him and the girl with him occasionally glimpsing discreetly at my dinner but I totally get it). I think Brian works in the kitchen but the first time I came here (because I came twice for their pork chops), they were barely opening the restaurant and he was the only one at the bar. I was looking for a good beer and he began to take out different kinds of IPA, stout, etc they had so I could choose. Overall, excellent experience. More than anything I appreciate Brian and Nick for their friendliness and welcoming nature.

Been here 30 minutes and no service. Asked the hostess about it and she said she would try to find someone willing to wait on us.update... still no service. Apparently we are a "burden" since we got tired of waiting for a waitress and got beers from the bar. No dinner for us I guess

Stopped through here while staying in Lebanon and reading the yelp reviews. Glad we did! The waitresses were very friendly & the food was great! There are not many places to eat in this area and this was a pleasant surprise. We had the filets, salad, and the sidewinders and they were all delicious. Would definitely recommend it and visit again on our way back through town :)

The greatest place to eat in Lebanon. If you're in town, don't miss this place. With motels and cabins behind the restaurant, you can take an easy night and stay close to your room and have a fabulous dinner and a few drinks at the bar! Start with the fired-Up shrimp or the fresh spinach artichoke dip. I'd then Recommend nicks special (sand which or quesadilla style) and their steaks! The filet is excellent as well as the ribeyes! I promise, you can't go wrong.

Ate there the other night. Great food and plenty of options to choose from. Be warned a full rack of ribs is a lot of ribs but man are they delicious. Highly recommend this place. Even better idea is to play a round of golf then devour a rack of ribs or the southwest grilled chicken.

Amazing food for any appetite, everything on the menu is delicious and the service is great. It's not too pricey or upscale, however it's a great place to take your date/family for a nice dinner and or a drink.

We're visiting from out of town. This was recommended by the gentleman at our hotel. We loved it! The food was awesome. Makenzi our waitress was perfect!!!

Good food. I had the blackened salmon. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Slightly fishy but it was salmon. Chicken tenders and Nicks Special sandwich excellent as well. Little slow on service but overall good experience and will definitely be back.

It was 50 minutes from the time I arrived to the moment I received my Chicken sandwich. The waitress walked by my table 5 times without stopping by to inquire if I need another beverage even though I placed the empty at the far edge of the table and tried to catch her attention before I had to call her out loud as she passed by again. The atmosphere is LOUD, but I have to confess it was Friday evening, so perhaps it was unwinding time for the customers. I had been there 60 minutes before I heard those wonderful words "are you doing okay? " The veggies are good but a little over steamed. I will say best dang spinach artichoke dip I have ever had. I probably won't stop here again if I am in the neighborhood so I can experience other local offerings.

One of this area's hidden places Rosewood is a great place to eat. Good food with a great atmosphere. It's worth checking out. You definitely will come back.

Best food around! Lots of great drink options. You won't be disappointed. The steaks are so amazingly good, I won't order them from any other restaurant anymore. Some people complain that it can get loud and you have to wait sometimes but that's only because there's always a lot of people there because everything is so delicious! Have a few drinks while you wait because the food doesn't disappoint. Try the whole menu. Everything is amazing!

Stopped here while passing through. Well executed food from scratch, not something pulled out of the Gordon Food Truck. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I have eaten there a lot they have a combo appetizer platter that is absolutely delicious. I have never gotten a bad steak there and of course they have my favorite drink crown royal. It is not too pricey a great place to eat on date night.
