A Comprehensive Guide to Classic Restaurants and Bars in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"The Rosewood Grille felt super cool and a little theatrical — there’s that giant 20‑pound lobster display that’s been there since I was a kid, you’d think you had to go there for lobster, and they even used to bring rotary phones to your booth so you could accept calls (a practice tied up with the town’s old mafia connections)." - Eater Staff

A Festive and Flawless Lunch at Rosewood Grill! I met a friend for lunch today and have dined at Rosewood Grill many times, but today felt extra special. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the holiday season—'Deck the Halls' is the perfect description for the warm and festive ambiance. My meal was absolutely superb. I started with the French Onion Soup, which was deeply flavorful, packed with onions, and featured that scrumptious, classic melted cheese over the crouton. For my entrée, I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection—tender and flaky on the inside with a slightly crispy edge. The yogurt dill sauce was a wonderful, fresh, and bright accompaniment that elevated the dish. The sides were just as good; the mashed potatoes were a bit chunky, just the way I like them, and the asparagus was excellent. A special shout-out to our server, Astra, who was attentive, friendly, and had a wonderful personality that added to our experience. I also noticed they have a tempting lobster menu special also available with happy hour pricing. It was a truly lovely lunch with my friend surrounded by wonderful ambiance, delicious food, and exceptional service. Highly recommend for a festive meal!

I had the lobster fettuccine. The taste is good if you’re into seafood. The desert was for my daughter’s birthday and it was very sweet they added it to her meal. The chocolate was smooth and rich, the Caramel on the ice cream was a nice touch. Sweet and salty. The twin filets looked really delicious as well, I’ll have to try next time. The deviled eggs suffice, I would have liked to taste a bit more mustard. The environment was calm, pleasant and the cocktails were refreshing.

Just had one of the best meals I’ve ever had at Rosewood Grill in Westlake. The steak was absolutely perfect—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. And the asparagus? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly with great texture. Everything was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Our night was completely redeemed thanks to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, genuine smile, and our kids were welcomed as well. We were seated right away, and our waitress arrived promptly with water and took our order with an upbeat, friendly attitude. Every dish we ordered was excellent. The lobster tail was tender and moist. The breaded shrimp and tempura green beans were perfectly fried and flavorful. The Caesar grilled salmon was cooked to perfection with a crisp, golden crust and a moist, tender center. The Brussels sprouts were exactly how we like them: crispy, well-seasoned, and delicious even without the sweet glaze. The sliders were a hit with our kids. Our waitress checked on us periodically, always with a smile, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed or interrupted. After coming from a different local restaurant where we were treated poorly, the experience here truly turned our evening around. It ended up being a wonderful Friday night for our family, and we’re so grateful. We will definitely be back.

Good atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Good food plating and presentation. Taste was disappointing and not appetizing. American cuisine with overpowering mexican spices. Not authentic in either cuisine style. Expensive and not recommended.

I saw this place online and wanted to give it a try. I never been here before. When you first walk in the atmosphere is gorgeous. It looks as if the food is more expensive than it is. The host is very nice. My server was Levi. He explained the entire menu and gave me a few recommendations based on my preference. He was courteous, patient, attentive, and very generous. I ordered the Deviled eggs for appetizer. I never had them prepared in this way, but I appreciate different recipes. Very glad I gave them a try and I will enjoy again. I also ordered the lobster fettuccine and fell in love. Plenty of meat and the sauce was beautiful. I dipped my bread in it and it was wonderful. Serving size was more than I could finish. All the servers seems to be very pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend.I will return and bring friends.

What an amazing place! My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our five year anniversary Thursday night and it was a great night. We started off with drinks, my boyfriend got a cocktail and I got the rosemary mule, both were very tasty, though I question if my mule had the tito’s in it because I could not taste any liquor haha. Then we got two appetizers: the deviled eggs and the buffalo chicken spring rolls. Both were so good! The deviled eggs were definitely more tangy and mustardy than usual but it was great. The buffalo chicken spring rolls had a great combination of flavor and were so delicious. Then for our entrees my boyfriend got one of the pasta dishes and I got a steak. I helped him finish his pasta and it was very good. My steak had a wonderful flavor, I wasn’t a fan of the sauce that came with it, and the green beans were good; my complaints are I wish the green beans had been cooked a bit longer, I really love sautéed green beans, and that my steak had been cooked for a shorter time. Though the steak had great flavor, I had ordered it to be Medium Rare and from the picture you can definitely see that’s NOT medium rare, that is a medium leaning towards medium well. The ends of the steak were also medium well. Some parts of the steak were harder to chew due to this. If I were to go here again I’d order a rare to ensure my steak was done right. Finally to end the night our server, Maureen I think was her name, surprised us with an anniversary dessert; in my reservation note I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, so it was a pleasant surprise. The brownie was warm and just so tasty and the ice cream provided a nice cooling effect and was of course great. Overall, this was a great dinner and the dessert at the end definitely perked up my mood, along with the great service from Maureen, and made up for the overcooked steak. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go here again!

I visited this restaurant for what turned out to be a bridesmaid brunch. The atmosphere was set for a sophisticated evening. The staff was welcoming. I was relieved that they had their own parking lot! Off the brunch menu; I order a few starters. I got the deviled eggs, millionaire bacon and the avocado toast. I was excited about the eggs and bacon but unfortunately they weren’t what I expected. The bacon was crisp to the point of almost burnt and the the eggs while well seasoned they were very Dijon or who grain mustard forward in comparison to being mayo based so I didn’t finish the whole plate. The avocado toast however was very good and a very large portion which I was pleasantly surprised about. It came with 3 slices of toast I was only expecting one. I spent $40 on the starters so it was a little pricey. While 2/3 weren’t winners I wouldn’t rule them this establishment out. I would like to revisit one day and see how the dinner menu is.
