Rosi - Review - Mayfair - London - The Infatuation

"Rosi is a modern British spot inside Mayfair's The Beaumont hotel, with oversized powder pink booths and john dory fish fingers. Other things to get excited about include: seasonal signature pies and build-your-own sundaes." - Sinéad Cranna

I had a lovely dinner at Rosi, The Beaumont with a friend, and I have to say the whole experience was wonderful. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stiff, and it’s one of those places where you instantly feel looked after. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She struck that perfect balance of being present without hovering, and she made great recommendations that we ended up loving. The chicken was delicious, and the touch with them bringing knife’s to select to the table very unique. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. We lingered over dinner for quite a while, catching up and enjoying the ambience, and never once felt rushed. Overall, this is a place I’d happily return to.

Rosi sits inside The Beaumont Hotel, a five-star Art Deco property in Mayfair. The setting feels polished. The room is lined with vibrant murals by Luke Edward Hall. They add colour and give the space a clear story. British food is the focus, shaped by Lisa Goodwin Allen and delivered by Executive Chef Jozef Rogulski. The approach is confident. The results are impressive. We opened with Hash Browns with Pickled Walnut Ketchup. The hash brown felt a bit oily for my taste. The ketchup lifted the plate with a sharp and rich flavour. It set the tone for the rest of the meal. My starter was the Seafood Cocktail with prawns, crab and lobster. The Marie Rose sauce was alcohol free. The seafood tasted fresh. The crisp sourdough added texture. My wife chose the Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with truffle. Her reaction told me enough. I tried a spoonful and understood why. The soup had depth and a clean finish. For mains, my wife ordered the grilled Dover Sole. Egidio filleted it at the table. The service added theatre. The fish was firm and well seasoned. We also shared the John Dory Fish Fingers with warm tartare. This dish sounded simple. The execution was clever. The flavour was bright. It stood out. My Halal Grass Fed Rib Eye steak was cooked with care. The centre was tender. The mash on the side was smooth. It was the type of plate that leaves no doubts. I would return for it. Dessert kept the standard high. My wife picked the Mayfair Millionaire Tart with salted caramel and chocolate. Wessam recommended it. The choice worked. Each spoonful was rich and clean. I went for the Rosi Sundae. You pick your scoops, sauces and toppings. It felt playful. It tasted great. It ended the evening with a bit of fun. Service throughout the night came from Wessam, Egidio and Luca. They kept the pace steady. They knew the menu. Their guidance helped shape the experience. Rosi suits a date night. The room is stylish. The food is thoughtful. The Beaumont has added a strong restaurant to its offering. Halal options were available during our visit, but you should confirm on the night. This is a place worth visiting if you want quality cooking and a relaxed dining room in Mayfair.

The best lunch I've had in years....Rosi, is the place to go right now ! We opted for a selection of dishes to share...something similar establishments would raise an eyebrow at ...not here. The enthusiasm of the Team, who are in every way true professionals was almost as joyous as the food. The Menu is clever, thoughtful, unpretentious with enough choice to make decisions a guilty pleasure. My dining partner and I opted for selection of dishes to share...get this...Seafood Cocktail, Pork Pie, Beetroot Carpaccio, Smoked Salmon and ....Chips! The quality and flavours are complemented with small but effective touches of tradition that say...indulge and enjoy the best ingredients . For dessert we shared an extravagance of Salted Caramel ice cream with Chantilly cream and caramelised popcorn...this was dining at at the highest level with a serious injection of fun. We loved it, and we loved Lisa coming to chat, we loved the vibe and we are going back for more.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday dinner at Rosi last Friday with my husband and daughter, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The moment we stepped into the Beaumont Hotel, we were warmly greeted by the concierge, who escorted us to the beautiful Rosi restaurant. We were seated at a stunning table, and to my surprise, the restaurant had prepared a birthday card signed by all the waiting staff, a unique and thoughtful touch that made me feel truly special even before we began our meal. Our waiter, Robert, deserves a special mention for his outstanding hospitality. He walked us through the menu in such wonderful detail that it actually made choosing much harder! We all opted for the smoked salmon to start, which Robert prepared right in front of us, a delightful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. For our mains, I had the Dover sole, my husband chose the steak, and my daughter had the Chicken Diane. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and all three of us cleared our plates. Before the mains arrived, the head sommelier, Giorgio, visited our table and offered an insightful explanation of wine pairings. His recommendations were absolutely spot on. The service throughout the evening was superb! Attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. We left already talking about our next visit. Rosi has certainly earned a place on our must-return list!

After being greeted through the main entrance to The Beaumont Hotel, Mayfair we were escorted into this charming restaurant with its tastefully pastel coloured walls featuring amazing murals depicting scenes from Mayfair. We were there for the lunchtime service on a busy Friday afternoon. I found the staff so welcoming and knowledgeable as well as being warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I chose a starter of the seafood cocktail which included lobster, prawns, crab and a delicious Rose Marie sauce, my main was the John Dory fish fingers with a truly tasty warm tartar sauce followed by a “create your own sundae “ option. A brilliant idea and the home made ice cream was sensational. I urge you to check this restaurant out. In my opinion you will not be disappointed.

I was so excited to try the new Rosi restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Wonderful surroundings, first class service and the most delicious food I've eaten in a long time. For staters, the pork pie was the best I've ever tasted. The pastry was crisp and it was packed with meat. A traditional British classic at its best and the salad cream and piccalilli on the side was a lovely touch. For my main course I was spoilt for choice and opted for the lamb suet pudding with creamed mash and curried spinach on the side. All absolutely delicious and the lamb was full of flavour. Superb. Dessert is pure theatre when you order the sponge pudding...I don't want to spoil the surprise, but the sponge itself was so light and it was absolutely delicious A 10 out of 10 evening and I cant wait to return. Highly recommended

The restaurant is elegantly decorated, with cosy private booths that make the whole experience feel special. From the moment we arrived, the staff looked after us so well; friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The sommelier was great too, guiding us to some fantastic wine choices that paired perfectly with our food. I’d highly recommend the melon and serrano ham starter. They’ve taken a classic and given it a modern twist by infusing the melon with gin (my new favourite way to eat it, by the way!). The sweet pops of pomegranate and the freshness of mint made every bite bright and delicious. The cauliflower cheese bites were dangerously moreish.... we actually fought over the last one! The truffle mayo they came with was so good we ended up saving it to dip our triple-cooked chips into. For mains, I had the halibut with tarragon sauce and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of clever flavours - the sweetness of the grapes with the cool cucumber balanced the fish so well. Honestly, if the restaurant hadn’t been so busy, I might have licked the plate clean. We were absolutely stuffed, but the dessert menu was impossible to resist. We shared the flamed sponge, which is prepared at the table; such a fun touch and the perfect way to finish an amazing meal.

What can I say? This restaurant was fantastic! The dining area had a lively, welcoming atmosphere with great music and energy. We were greeted by Destiny, one of the waitresses, who was constantly smiling and had a wonderful personality. What impressed us most was her attention to detail throughout the entire evening — she made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious. We shared a few snacks as starters, then enjoyed a Chicken Diana and a Lamb Pie as our main courses. Antonino, whom I believe is one of the managers, recommended a beautiful bottle of Portuguese wine that paired perfectly with the meal. We finished with a cheese platter, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic evening
