Staff was really knowledgeable and kind; my bf & I were a bit surprised by what a great store it is and the incredible selection of food. Without naming names, he use to work for their biggest competitor for several years & our dog was a shop dog during that time, who also happens to have a giant mural in their parking lot🐕... however, we were won over & are considering making Rosie Bunny Bean our go-to pet supply even though it's more out of the way for us♡ Thank you for informing us that Orijen was bought out by Purina! This review is looong overdue. I don’t even live in California anymore, but I still have the dog (now 14 years old!) who’s allergies and food intolerances they helped me identify and then helped me address. They even gave me extremely expensive food at cost while I was in college and unable to afford to feed to a 70 lb dog at mark-up. I think that having my dog on that very expensive, premade raw food for a couple of years helped to heal my dogs gut and improve his immune system so much that I can now give him home-cooked food (including some of the proteins that he used to be allergic/reactive too) instead of buying expensive premade raw foods and he no longer exhibits any of the severe allergies that he when I first went to Rosie Bunny Bean seeking guidances. No more itchy, infected yeasty-paws, no more pox-marked belly covered in itchy red spots, and now more ear injections that cause my dog to shake his head and scratch his ears until they bleed. In fact, he’s a large dog who is now 14 years old and still a healthy, energetic boy who climbs two flights of stairs to my apartment a couple times per day, enjoys his walks, and looks much younger than his years. Rosie Bunny Bean stand out in mind as the single most caring and accommodating business I have ever had the privilege to patronize.

Everyone here is always so unbelievably kind and helpful! Every time I go in they are so well informed and help to pick out the right products for my dog Charlie’s needs. He has been so happy on his new raw diet and loves all of the healthy treats! If you ever need to ask questions and get advice definitely go here. Specifically, the folks working there with the red hair and the platinum-ish hair (I forgot to ask their names </3) are always so above and beyond and so nice🥰 Charlie is very happy after his visit there today, 10/10

It was a very cute spot but I was a little disappointed in the lack of bunny products. You would assume there'd be a 1:1 ration of dog and bunny products but it's just a small corner and then the entire store is cat and dog products! It's a really cute shop but their name needs to be changed. I was excited since it's hard to find bunny products...

My pup & I love love LOVE Rosie Bunny Bean!! Unique and super cute toy selection. We go here specifically for the array of single chews. This is great if you're trying something new for your pup/not yet sure what they're into yet. I would say the price of the chews are really great! The toys are a bit on the pricier side. Full range of boutique treats as well - ranging from minnows to buffalo. Treats are anywhere from $10-$20. We have yet to buy regular food from here but I did notice they have a decent sized frozen raw selection - including Halshan's! Overall, great spot to keep your furry bff enticed & excited. I'm a repeat customer here as far as treaties go!

Cute and very unique pet store that has a lot of variety. We were in the area to go to Donut Friend and decided to stop inside to look for some treats and toys. This is decent sized store with a refrigerated section for cold foods and frozen treats. There are so many options, which I love! The customer service was good. We were immediately asked if we needed assistance when we walked in. The store was clean and the items were decently priced. There's definitely a range of prices from very affordable to a little on the pricey side. Regardless, whatever you're looking for, you'll probably find it here. Parking is in a lot behind if you're lucky to get a spot or you can park on the street with metered parking. Great spot!

I was in the area and wanted to look for "Open Farm" products and also find a really good brand for Goats milk for my fur son. I looked up the closest pet stores and Rosie Bunny Bean popped up. I do want to add that I came on a weekend and it was busy in the streets so parking was annoying to find. But, that was the only inconvenience I can think of. When I stepped inside I was really amazed at everything they offer. I took a moment and just walked around just to see the variety of treats, toys and other products they carry. An employee approached me and helped me go over the different brands for Goat's milk. I am really happy with the one I purchased since my fur son loves it! I also got the products from Open Farm that I was looking for. I will admit that the prices are a little steep but I dod price match with other places and they were really totaling the same. Ill definitely return here if im the area as there are other products I want my fur son to try.

THE CUTEST PET SHOP! This spot was recommended to me after I recently adopted my newest pup Lilikoi. I went to check it out and they only have the best of the best foods for your pets, the best toys, treats and a large selection of unique collars. It is jammed packed with all the goods you could ever want! The prices are competitive and reasonable for what you are getting. They even have a point system that you can take advantage of. I highly recommend this spot, especially right now with the holidays around the corner! Find your pet or your besties pet a goody to celebrate. Park behind in the parking lot or on the metered street on York and stroll on in.

Customers who go out of their ways to shop at Rosie Bunny are the ones who are happy to invest in their pets' health by feeding high quality fresh food; this means, your customers expect you to follow up on things that you said you would (basic professionalism, doesn't have to be a specialty store). I requested for large volume order twice, waited 3-6 months on both requests and never once received any form of follow ups. Today I walked in and asked for an update after 7 months of no follow up and the employee said she remembered my requests but sorry that didn't follow up. Not only she didn't sound sorry but rather entitled. I ended up going to the manufacturer directly who is ~70 miles away and picked up within 3 days. [RESPOND TO THE OWNER] Employee took the request and asked to allow for 3 months wait because it was something this pet store no longer normally have it in stock. If special order cannot be made then why accept the request in the first and ask to wait 3 months and no follow up to update the customer? I made another bulk order request in 2021 for something this store normally have it in stock and did not receive any follow up either. Based on my past experience and watching how employees behave in store unprofessional customer service is not surprising.

Rosie's bunny bean is our favorite pet store!! They have the best brand of dog food (I always get my puppy the Carna4 brand), the most insane type of dog treats that you wouldn't even think of are there, and they also have the cutest toys. Everything at this store is a 10/10.. from the quality of what they sell to their amazing, helpful employees that make you feel sooo welcomed. we just love going there with our doggo! We went there yesterday for our dog's #1 birthday to do some bday shopping and the workers were so so sweet and were nonstop spoiling him! They even gave him a birthday cookie which he LOVED! He just laid there in the store until he finished it up and we got some more cute little cookies from their bakery before leaving! I can't wait to see what they have for the next cookie designs.. they're too cute!!

Love this store!!! They changed my cat's life! My cat was diagnosed as allergic to salmon, chicken, lamb, beef etc ... my veterinarian told me to put her on strictly Rabbit only diet. OMG! I have been giving her raw chicken, beef, lamb, salmon etc... I can't go back to canned rabbit. Besides no one carry rabbit only cat food. I wanted to continue giving her raw or/and freeze dry raw cat food. Soul'y Raw's minimum order requirement is 15 Lbs!!! I can't do that! I looked everywhere called many places. It turned out Rosie Bunny is the only store in LA that carries 2 types of frozen raw rabbit meat and freeze dry rabbit food. I order online and within 2 hours, it's ready to pick up. Everyone there is helpful. It's quite a drive from Santa Monica, but it's worth it. I highly recommend Rosie Bunny to every pet lover!!!

We came by with our two Entlebuchers (google it or just trust me when I say, it's a small Swiss Mountain Dog) to check out the store. The place is awesome and the employees are incredibly friendly and kind. We got a bottle of fancy dog shampoo and some cute plates for the kitties. I saw a great variety of treats that I plan coming back for. Such a great neighborhood shop!

I'm impressed with the customer service at this pet store! The store I normally go to is great with pretty good customer service, but I love how the employees at Rosie Bunny Bean greet you when you first enter. As soon as you walk in, there's a small 2-tier cart that has a sign, "Masks required for all occupants. Please sanitize your hands before entering." There's hand sanitizer and towels on the cart. As soon as I walked in and saw the cart, I sanitized my hands. And the employees at the counter said thank you. They were very friendly. They came up to see if there was anything I needed. When I let them know what I was looking for, they told me what they knew about the backorder/out of stock issues with that product - way more information than the pet store I normally go to. I really appreciated this transparency. They mentioned I could buy the one that they had in stock, but i said I had just purchased 9 cases of it, so I'm good for awhile. Also, i looked at their price, and it was higher than my local pet store. They also introduced me to other products and the employee who helped me was very knowledgable in older cats, also something that the pet store that I normally go to was lacking. I sincerely appreciated the effort in sharing his knowledge of the cat food/beverages and showing me all of the items they had and not pressuring me to buy it right then. He told me he could tell I do my research, so I should go ahead and research the ones he pointed out. And then he went and got me a sample for my babies. Really such a great experience there! If I lived closer, I would go here much more often.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now because I had a very similar experience the first 3x's I went into this store. However, the other day I had my fourth and final visit that prompted me to finally sit down and write. Each time I've gone there has been a couple employees gathered at the register (not ringing anyone up) that do not greet me (or the people I've gone in with) when we walk in. In fact, no one even acknowledges that we're in there for at least 5 minutes-- aside from the stares given when picking up items on the shelves. When they do finally say something it's a quick "can I help you find anything" as they continue walking. The times I did need help, I was passively and pointed in area and left without assistance or any type of customer service. Most recently I approached the girl at the register since the products I was interested in (Natural Dog balms) were right next to her and asked her opinion on which would be best for my pup. She said it didn't really matter because they all had the same ingredients and then went back to ignoring me. How is that helpful? Might as well order from the company directly and pay for shipping to avoid having to go into RBB again! Aside from terrible customer service, they also rip you off with how much they increase their prices from actual market value/suggested retail price. For example, Pet Corrector cans are $22 at Petco, $22 on Chewy, $25 at a nearby small business pet shop, and $33 here! Freedom No Pull Harness in XS is $29.58 on Rover, $30.58 on Amazon, $31 at nearby store, and $40 at RBB! I am someone who has no limit on what I am willing to spend on my dog, but knowing that a business is price gauging that much does not have my support. There are three local pet stores that I can think of off the top of my head within 10 minutes (probably even less) of this place that deserve the community's business more. They sell the same brands, are extremely knowledgeable, and are not bothered by a customer expecting them to do their job.

I LOVE this pet store! They have quality items here for all your cat/dog/rabbit/Guinea pig needs!! Everything from toys, treats, bowls, beds, whatever you can think of they have it!! The workers here are also very nice and knowledgeable! My dog and cat both love literally anything and everything I purchase from here! 10/10. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Hands down the BEST selection of dog food, I was super impressed! They had all the items I've been searching for. I've been to many pet stores in the area and nothing compares to their wide selection. I'm glad I found this store now I can finally do a one stop shop! I recently decided to change the furor of my dog. I went to this location to see if I can get some help to what my dog should be eating, and was helped by an employee, Maria. Keep in mind , I was anxious before going in and left feeling motivated, educated, and relieved. Maria went though all the different foods (wet and dry). She is also extremely patient and kind with all my questions. I am so fortunate to have her help, definitely was a very pleasing and happy environment with her around. Thank you to the company for hiring someone like Maria. Truly a wonderful experience, thank you Maria. I will definitely be recommending this location to many pet owners because of Maria.

The most adorable and wildly expensive pet food store lol. My dog has early onset arthritis and a bad leg so I'll do whatever I can to ease the stiff pain. Which meant basically preparing his meals with added nutrients like glucosamine fish oil, etc and you can find all the good stuff there!! Pricey but worth it

I wanted to update my review. I never expected to get a response from the owner of the store when I posted my review. I did though. He emailed me and told me that he was appalled at what he read and wanted to discuss it with me. So I called him up. It was an honest and refreshing conversation. He was completely authentic in his questions about what happened and genuine in his apology. It happens when you run any business that things don't always go the way you would want them. I know, I owned a small biz for several decades. He renewed my confidence in our ability to have human exchanges in this world with compassion and honesty. So I have shifted and will have another go into Rosie Bunny Bean.

This place is stocked with great items, that is obvious. However, I only felt welcomed by a few of the employees. I was second in line and waited patiently while the cashier had a full on conversation with the customer in front me. The transaction was already complete, but there they continued to talk, all while I waited and became irritated. I almost walked out, I felt very stupid to wait in line at a pet store that I was recommended to, yet was experiencing a very sh***y moment. If it wasn't for another employee that noticed and rang me up, my ass would've walked out. Congrats on having regular customers, but how about expanding to new clientele and making them feel welcome?!

I started going here because my pup started having some allergies and food sensitivities and I wanted a more natural diet for her. The employees walked me around and asked about her potential allergies, recommended different foods and supplements for her as well as goats milk. I purchased a few bags for carna4 food and the liver treats, supplements and they also gave me a few samples of different recipes to rotate so my dog will not get bored. They carry really high quality food and natural treats. Not only were the girls super helpful in guiding me towards resolving my pups allergies but they were so sweet to her. I will definitely be back here for all my dog's needs.

Greatest part about living in HP is this gem! I'll always be a loyal customer. Their loyalty point system is amazing and the selection is always on point! My pup and 2 kitties have never eaten better or had better treats and toys!

I was willing to give this place a shot when I was in the neighborhood a while back. They've got similar stuff to my normal spot, but this place charges more. It's a bigger store, so the rent's higher. I get it. But one of the employees - an older grey haired guy with tattoos - was talking to another employee - a 20 something girl with brightly colored hair - and making some nasty comments about a customer who had just left. I've worked retail, I understand how customers can be. I'm sure I'm not a perfect customer. But to hear the 'R' word thrown around casually in 2021 is unacceptable. Disappointing that his coworker didn't call him out on the bad behavior. I won't be going back, especially when there are kinder (and less expensive) pet stores a stone's throw away.

I miss the good ol' days where young people in positions of "power" used it to welcome instead of objectify. I walk in and the first words spoken from behind the register; "sir I need you to sanitize before shopping in the store please." Ugggh! What a turn off!!! So the store is overpriced, has employees lacking customer service skills AND did not have what I was looking for anyway. You millennial learn how to make people feel welcome by saying a polite and simple HELLO- maybe they'll feel more inclined to contribute to your future and shop at your place of employment.. Rosie Bunny lost me today.

Life savers! One of my dogs kept ending up in the hospital with unknown issues. After changing food, stopping supplements, too many meds, thousands of dollars in vet bills, I started making food for our 3 large dogs and the problem stopped. Phewww.... But making the food was sooooo time consuming. After months of making food, we knew we needed another answer. My friend recommended this place and I couldn't be happier. Very, very knowledgeable people with info on food and supplements that they don't even carry! I had help, with calculator in hand, finding the best, most affordable options for 3 large breed rescues. And they love the food! Somehow I wasn't surprised when the name of the food is Answers! We couldn't be happier and dogs couldn't be healthier!

I recently added two Morkie puppies to my family and was looking for a local pet supply store that wound carry harnesses that would fit my tiny pups. I was immediately pleasantly greeted and asked if I needed help. I explained I was looking for a harness and a sling. The owner was extremely helpful in trying to find the right fit and size. Once determining that they were still too small he made other suggestions. He was generous in his information about pet nutrition, treats, doggie care etc. He even gave me samples of his top rated suggestions and never tried to upsell any products. It was refreshing to be able to speak to someone so passionate and knowledgeable in my new pet journey. I will definitely be going back here once the pups are done with their vaccines and ready to be fit for their doggie attire.

I have cat who is turning one next month. Echo is quite the handful - she is very agile and just meows over and over (like an echo). We go for walks and play in the yard together. I went today to get some treats, some toys, and a new tag. She is very particular - I needed a tag that was very small because she's taken off collar in spite for the one I had before. I added a photo at the bottom for size comparison (: With toys, she's even more picky. I was really surprised by the prices, which are incredibly reasonable. Everything was pretty well-made, so I had fear turning over the items only to have a sigh of relief. Well within what I was expecting to pay. Everyone in there was lovely. Really helpful, sweet, and well within the comfort zone of COVID compliance's. Masks on, clear signs of how to practice social distancing, and APPLE PAY. They took time to wipe down the entire counter and card reader between each customer, whether with card or phone. I'll also be back for more peacock feathers. Echo has already done some damage.

This will be my 5th time visiting Rosie Bunny Bean store and they are still awesome! I special ordered some answers food for my dog and they had it delivered quickly to the store. They are always so helpful and kind! My special order turned out to be cheaper and they lowered the price for me! They have a ton of selection don't hesitate to go to them for your pets needs!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I went here to get Answers fermented goat milk to help heal my dog's digestive system. I was told by Audrey, who claimed to be a manager, that my dog could drink as much of the goat milk as he wanted and that I didn't have to follow the directions on the carton. So I did exactly that. My dog loved the goat milk he probably drink about half a cup or a little bit more. His dosage per the carton was supposed to be no more than a quarter cup. That night, my dog threw up three times and had diarrhea in the bathroom which he never ever does. He always goes to the bathroom outside. I called and spoke with the general manager Michael. He was very dismissive, and told me that he's sold thousands of quarts of this and is never ever heard of this problem. I got off the phone feeling even worse than I did when I called. Now I was really worried. So I contacted the company, Answers. The representative told me that he gave me completely wrong information, and that they had received numerous complaints about Rosie bunny bean staff doing this numerous times!! The representative told me that both Michael and Audrey should never ever have told me this misinformation which my poor dog paid Abby price for. Everyone should know this, so that hopefully your dog will never have to suffer like mine did due to their misinformation.

Really cute stuff, pricey but not out of the question I usually spend a lot for my power chewers to have durable toys anyways. Reading these comments made me realize my experience was not an isolated event they seriously need to redo their whole staffing. Awful attitudes and just sucky customer service. I really wanted to like this place but the staff makes it impossible.

I stopped by this spot on a friday night with my pup Winston. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with joy and excitement. Chelsea was a delight to speak to! She is full of knowledge and gave me and my husband so many tips for our puppy. Other customers that came in clearly were regulars, it was like friends greeting eachother as customers came in and out. Pretty cool! Also they will be moving around the corner to a bigger location. We are looking foward to it! We will be back soon.

This local pet shop is a wonderful feature of Highland Park! We first passed by it during an outdoor market on York; it is really close to great restaurants and small shops, so this area is very walkable. Michael is a wonderful resource! I dropped in one evening before closing to ask about food for our two cats, and he was more than happy to share his opinions on certain cat food brands and why he stocks or does not stock brands. I felt like he really knew about a big range of brands, and he was very honest and upfront with me about any questions I had (how do you decide what to carry? why does the dry food include peas?). We talked about raw food diets, and I'm currently trying out the small cat batch frozen sliders that Michael recommended. He gave a breakdown of what physical changes I can expect if my cats transitioned to a fully raw diet (smaller size of stool, different color stool, healthier physique as the food does not include fillers like rice or starches, etc). Both of my cats really love it, and I like feeding them food that has natural ingredients and high in protein. Excellent service and place to stop by! Lots of dog items once you enter (shirts, harnesses, leashes, food, treats, etc) but their knowledge on cat foods (dry, wet, raw, dehydrated raw, treats) is really helpful for us cat owners as well.

When you keep your pet alive long enough to suffer the consequences of giving them cheap food and toys you inevitably end up at a place like this. They have super informed staff and a wide selection of top flight foods and snacks for creatures of all types. If you don't want to step all the way up to the time and expense that go into raw feeding they can definitely help you find healthier/better alternatives to the kibble and wet foods we're all used to feeding our pets, and they don't moralize about it either. They also host pet adoptions on the regs which is great for the animal and people community around here, always in association with local shelters. Special attention should be paid to their epic cornucopia of dog treats. Goose heads, bully sticks, tendons, feet, ears, oh my! It's pretty much El Dorado for doggos and nothing gets the old tail waggin' as much as a trip to RBB. A fantastic instance of the dedicated, owner operated, neighborhood store. Happy to have and support them.

local. great selection of products and very helpful staff. you can return food items if your pup ain't satisfied. they have a treat bar & bakery. you can shop online for curbside pickup and they have rewards program.

i LOVE this shop! If there's a sample, they will let us try before we buy (my dog is so so picky!)- they have great suggestions and when things don't work out (i haven't tried this yet) they say to bring it back and exchange it with something that might work. i can't say enough good things about this cute shop- we don't even live nearby but i will venture out here because customer service and quality are really important to me and my fur babe.

I've lived in this neighborhood for a very long time, and I realize people will call this a hipster place since it's clean, freshly painted and offers quality goods. And because the owners are very much into what they are doing. I am so happy they are here, and if they are hipster, I hope to see more hipster places opening. I just rescued a darling pup and she has mange. They were very helpful with offering ideas of what would be good for her immune system. For that alone I am eternally indebted. They put up with me and my weird jokes so bonus points. Thanks you guys!

What a wonderful mom and pop shop! My dogs and I love this place! First, this shop offers really high quality products. You really can't go wrong with any items in the store. I was beyond impressed with the selection of pet food and treats! Second, they have the CUTEST accessories for your pets! Blankets, leashes, collars, beds, etc. I wanted everything in there! Third, they were playing Bad Religion in there so, obviously they're rad. Also, the staff were really helpful. They offered treats to my pup and helped me try to find the right harness for him. There's plenty of free street parking and there's also a free parking lot right next to the building. Across the street there's Donut Friend, Scoops ice cream shop, and a couple of cool record stores. What more do you need?!

One thing I can't stand are employees following your around like if you're gonna steal something! I've gone to this pet store twice and both times I've walked out after 5 minutes. I rather give my money to urban pet down the street or heathy spot.
