Rosie's Italian Grille

This is our 3rd time coming to Rosie’s. We travel an hour away & the food never disappoints! For the appetizer we ordered the bruschetta which was delicious. Our main entrees were the chicken parm and the rigatoni one with a house salad & the other a Cesar salad. For dessert we did the brownie sundae which was the best part of the meal 😋 Overall, the food was delicious and very tasty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was fine overall, some dishes were good such as the fish dip appetizer and seafood and mushroom entree. Others such as the bruschetta and shrimp and lobster pasta were on the bland side. Our server was great which helped, and it’s a nice place and well maintained. Portions were very large which was nice, and they have a good beer selection. We left very full and I’d come back if others in a group wanted to but don’t know if I’d seek this place out myself.

We had a GREAT time last night celebrating a family birthday at Rosie’s Italian Grille. With a party of six our wait was only eight minutes; not bad at all. The food, service, and atmosphere were all good, and they even handled a couple of special requests with no issues at all. The "fresh catch of the day" is offered in any of five different styles. I opted for Grouper, "Cajun Key West"; cajun seasoning, citrus seared, with a salsa of pineapple, mango, and strawberry... an excellent choice. We also also did Manicotti plus meatballs (I’m told they were delicious), Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and chicken, Honey Goat Crispy Chicken, Fettuccine with grilled Chicken, and another fresh catch of the day as Halibut “Beurre Blanc”; sautéed with a white wine lemon butter caper sauce. We topped all that off with great desserts. Everyone was VERY happy with their choices in food as well as our choice in restaurants! We’d gladly do it all again. VERY ENJOYABLE !! Thank you !!

Most excellent dinner options. I suggest making a reservation for any meal time as this restaurant is always busy. The food is delicious, the drinks are wonderful, and the desserts divine. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly and gave us excellent suggestions! We will most definitely be going back. The Honey Crusted Chicken and Chicken Marcella were our dinner choices.

Great place to eat food is amazing nice variety of Italian cuisine and fresh seafood. The chicken Marsala is super good as is the honey crusted chicken. Make reservations though cause it can get packed. Reservations are confirmed through yelp so you know your set. Server in our opinion was perfectly attentive and did a great job meeting our needs!

We went in for lunch, they were not busy but sat us in the bar area … food was good I had chicken Marsala he had lasagna bread was amazing -served with olive oil and sun dried tomatoes

VERY GOOD FOOD! The portion was way bigger than I thought i was going to get. Well worth the price for the amount of food I got. The pasta i believe is 100% homemade (not verified by staff), but the taste and appearance i would say it was. Manicotti was also served but had no picture. Pictured is the shrimp and lobster pasta and hot bread. My salad was REALLY good, I got a raspberry vinaigrette, and it was amazing with my salad. Service got 4 out of 5 because not really keeping up on drinks for what I would call a slower night, wasn't super busy, was a Wednesday night around 7pm.

The food here was incredible. It was nothing short of heaven on a plate. And don’t get me started on the atmosphere. It gave off quaint Italian vibes and they had live music which was incredible. I would come here again any day of the week and I highly recommend you come here as well.

I had never been to Rosie's Italian Grille until recently as it was the destination for our monthly book club luncheon. Our group of ten had the covered patio reserved and it offered a charming dining experience along with a private area to discuss our book. A couple of us ordered salads but I must say that the pizzas looked delicious with lots of cheese and other toppings. My grilled chicken salad had very fresh romaine lettuce and the dressing seemed homemade, but I will definitely try a pizza next time. The portions were generous and pretty much everyone took home leftovers. Our server was personable, attentive and patient during our two-hour lunch. She was efficient in keeping our orders straight and was on top of drink refills. She had no issues in giving us separate checks. She also made us aware that gratuity had already been factored into our checks because we were a large party. At some point a torrential downpour struck and other staff members quickly took down the patio coverings to prevent us from getting too drenched. It was a very lovely meal and I would highly recommend Rosie's!

Ok, Rosie's... Let's talk about it. Rosie's is, normally, a great place to eat with great ambiance and, usually, a great overall experience. But two times in a row... not so much. Ordered lamb chops MEDIUM RARE and salmon, medium. Had the salmon with fettuccine Alfredo. The salmon was super well done and akin to an inedible hockey puck. The lamb chops were tasty, but definitely well done and nowhere close to medium rare. Called the manager very nicely and they very nicely said they'd credit me for two "dinners". Hey, everybody has a bad moment. All good. Threw the salmon away and ate a couple of the super thin well done lamb chops. The next day I want back for the credit and asked for the lamb chops and the salmon to be medium rare. How do you get hard salmon when you order medium rare?!? On a take back?!? Lamb chops were better, but they're so thin they're probably hard to get to a medium rare. Also, I got no pasta with my salmon, despite being told I'd get two "dinners". So I got a lamb chop dinner and one (probably 4oz?) pice of not a hockey puck, but medium well salmon at best. I will absolutely say that this has not been my normal experience at Rosie's. And yes, they are always busy. But please give your takeout the time and attention it deserves. The prices don't go down for takeout. I'll give Rosie's a break for a bit and try again. Disappointed... Twice in a row.

Such a lovely experience! Waited a bit for a table but nothing out of the blue for this place. Had some great appetizers. Place was a good moderate well lit atmosphere. Went at the end of the night which made it decently empty with good conversation but tables are close could imagine it being loud at prime hour. Our waiter Sam was great and knowledgeable. No complaints- would be back!

Overall a solid dinner, our server did a great job, the food was cooked well. Only downside is we waited 30 minutes for outdoor seating and for some reason they put us in the bar area inside, but we didn't wanna wait any longer so we took it. Other than that, please put salt shakers at the table, LOL. For dessert we got the brownie with vanilla gelato (amazing) and the cannoli (I normally love cannolis but I did not like this one, it did look great tho!)

Food choices are delicious and service is always great and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is Calming and restaurant is always clean.

It has been a while since we were last at this restaurant. The service was polite and reasonable. The flavor of the beef tips fettuccine was overwhelmed by the dijon horseradish sauce, making it an unpleasant dish. The real disappointment came with the bill of $135.00 for two when there was a $3.94 surcharge added for the use of a credit card. Frankly, this is a cost of doing business and should be included in the menu pricing! Even McDonald's and self car washes have figured that out. This was the second unpleasant experience with this establishment and there will not be a third for this person.

Fantastic food!!! I make sure to go here whenever I'm in town. The Rosie bread is addictive and the manicotti is the best!

Food was amazing as usual! Sheldon was our waiter and he was great! When I made my 4:30 reservations I was told that our table would have to be vacated by 6:30!!! We were having a going away dinner for our 2 granddaughters who are headed to college! We did not want to be rushed however there was a manager who was trying to force us to leave. We enjoyed dinner and drinks and dessert despite her constant checking our table! I'm a regular customer at Rosie's! I've never had rude service here! Phil Barone doesn't run his businesses this way! So disappointed with tonight's lack of customer service. I'm not sure of the woman's name or I would add it to this post!! Do better!!

Rosie's is a hidden gem in Toledo! This was my second time visiting and both times were delicious. I love the Mama Bread and the bread with oil and vinegar that is served with every meal. I ordered the Manicotti and a house salad. Both were amazing in flavor and deliciousness! The outside patio is perfect for a nice warm day. I loved the koi pond and decorations. We were a large party but we were seated right away and had quick service. 100 percent recommended!

Food was excellent and the service was outstanding! Our waiter, Sheldon, offered menu suggestions/recommendations and was creative, witty and engaging throughout our dining experience--he really enjoys interacting with customers and made the evening a great night out!

We celebrated my Mom's birthday at Rosie's on 28May2025. What a joyful restaurant for this occasion! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, the booth was designed that we could have a private meal in a full restaurant on a Wednesday evening in Toledo. There are so many dishes to choose from! You will not be disappointed. The four of us enjoyed our meals and chopped salads. The bread, pasta, seafood and eggplant were all delicious. The cannoli was tasty too! We will be back to try more of your entrees. Recommend making a reservation. There were only a few parking spaces available at 6:30pm last night.

We had a party of 6 and 2 infants. They were able to set up a nice table for us along with set ups for the kids. Our server Emily, was fantastic. She was vey helpful and attentive. The drinks and the food were all excellent. I started with the Espresso martini and it was perfect. I wish I had taken more pics but with the kids, etc it just didn't happen.

Exceptional food and service. Plenty of seating options from outdoor patio to small private areas for up to 4.

The food was a poor excuse for Italian cuisine. The herb bread was soft and gummy and "over herbed". The eggplant parmesan was truly the worst. Cut in thick rounds with the bitter skin left on, it was heavily breaded and fried. The pieces were mushy on the outside and still crunchy in the middle. It was covered with watery tomato sauce and cheese which did nothing to hide the tough bitter skin. The side of pasta was very small with the same watery sauce. This was a waste of time and money. You get better food at Olive Garden. Sadly not recommended.

This was a first visit for us and we were disappointed considering what we have heard. First the restaurant is very dusty, probably the dustiest restaurant I've been to. Dust on the ledges, light fixtures and just floating all around in the air. They need a deep clean and an air purifier. Everything we got was just very blah, we could get something more appetizing at another Italian restaurant. We started with the cheese bread and it was good, but we've had better. The chicken Parmesan wasn't bad either but again I've just had much better. I don't think I would come again unless it was for some type of gathering.

This is my go to Italian restaurant in NW Ohio! The Barone family have become friends of mine, couldn't be better people! Everything on the menu is amazing, sauces are spot on, atmosphere i absolutely love! Great place to take your family it cozy up to the bar!

After moving back to the Toledo area I am most excited to have Rosie's in my life again! This place always has a great happy hour, fantastic food and the service is always amazing. We have yet to eat here since we've been back, but we've order take out a couple times and the food is always hot and the hostess staff is always so nice. The goat cheese chicken is a MUST TRY if you like goat cheese. The flavor is unreal!

-Olive Garden-style food, but more expensive and somehow more mediocre -hilarious misspelling on the men's bathroom, which currently reads "vomini," which means "a little bit of vomit;" instead of uomini, which means "men." -nowhere on earth is their bruschetta actually a version of bruschetta -olive oil dip for bread was rancid -caesar salad tasted store-bought and premade; barely any dressing; croutons burned -trash and discarded clothing in parking lot -crowded and loud -hostess had her arms in her sweater, stomped while walking us to table, and clearly was bickering with a manager -server did her best but was constantly in the weeds -steak undercooked -sausage soup was over-salted -garlic doesnt need to be in everything

We patron Rosie's quite a bit and sadly will not be returning. On Aug 25, 2025 My birthday dinner was a disaster. To say the least. Our server (Christine) was very rude,on top of the food being terrible. I'm not one who usually sends food back, so keep in mind I'm always apologetic to the waitress for having to return it when there's a party. 2 dishes were returned, (only after her questioning us about what was wrong with the dish like 3 times before she would even take it) others just suffered in silence so they wouldn't be a problem. When she brought my food back, she handed it to me while coughing all over it. My best friends bill was slammed on the table for no reason. At the time when all our bills was collected, and returned she stops me and sais "hey you didn't pay"! Confused I say "you took my card with everyone elses" then say well come look at the screen, you didn't pay. At this point I'm like OMG is she being serious right now? So yes I had to give her my card again. So not only was this a disaster birthday dinner for me, each one of us was hit with $12-19 gratuity charged to our bill. Never again!

The group I went with wanted Lamb Chops and was our solo reason for going there. Well, we all ordered and all the food came out except the lamb chops. We asked about it and the bartender said she forgot to put them in and laughed it off. No apology or anything. The other bartender did come over and apologized and asked if she wanted her to ring them in now? We're like forget it at this point. I had a pizza and ate two slices of it. Wasn't good. The sauce was like worm at best and the toppings were ok, nothing great. One of the people we were with ordered a salad and said it was just ok for a salad and a little over priced for the portion size. The other one got a seafood pasta dish and the noodle were stuck together and not even close to being cooked long enough. Overall the experience was not all that great. Would I go back? Probably go somewhere else as my first choice.

Do not go here!! The place is run down on the outside and in the waiting area, but I thought maybe it was a diamond in the rough. I was wrong. The free bread to start was dense and weirdly wet. I got chicken carbonara and my husband got chicken alfredo. They were absolutely disgusting. My husband said his was very bland and tasteless. Mine tasted of gross oil and burnt chicken. It literally made me gag. No garlic, no salt, no seasonings, no cheese. Even though the menu said it should have all of these things. We only got 2 entrees, no appetizers, no desserts, and no alcohol, and it was over $60. We paid over $60 for food that neither of us ate.

Always superb. Been a customer for 15 years. Cant recommend enough. Great bar and servers.

Food was excellent - party of 4 and we had everything from their delicious pasta to their famous lobster Mac and cheese, grilled grouper and salmon ! Their apps and Cesar salads do not disappoint ; we enjoyed our bottle of champagne and to top it all off we enjoyed teramasui as well as their delicious gelato !

Their QUALITY of food ALWAYS consistent!! VALUE for our meal, personally believe best in town--or anywhere. Traveling the entire country 30+ years, great exposure to wonderful restaurants including very high end one's too! Rosie's food, atmosphere, staff not only BEST IN CLASS but ranks with THE BEST OF THE BEST! If you have yet to experience a meal there, please give them an opportunity you will not regret!! Good Food it was for are 45 Anniversary are was waiter was polite. Explain the menu. we had a private little booth. Perfect. I would suggest for anyone to go there.

I got carry out from here recently. My salmon had a good herb flavor though the portion was smaller than I would have liked. The accompanying vegetables were savory and not overdone. The Caesar salad had crispy lettuce and the dressing tasted as expected. The bread had a gently crispy crust, yielding middle, and a mildly buttery flavor.

The coconut lime mojito is good. The lobster bisque tastes very tomato forward and not getting as much lobster flavor. The bread and olive oil is pretty good The lamb was ok, but super salty. It was unevenly cooked and so much fat was left on/not rendered. The mashed potatoes had a weird taste and were dry

BEWARE! Food just ok. Services was awful! There for over 2 hours with an infant and a toddler. Then after letting the manager know that we were ready to leave, she had the audacity to charge our table a large party gratuity. Their policy is to charge this for parties of 6. We were a party of 6, however, the 6th person in our party was a 7 MONTH OLD! He didn't eat a thing there!!!! So angry! This was absolutely ridiculous! There were 4 adults, a 3 year old and a BABY!!!! Large party gratuity! Never going back again!

A mainstay that is here to stay! The service was outstanding from our waitress, Grace. Friendly, knowledgeable, and catered to all our needs during our visit. The food was outstanding. We had the hot mama bread appetizer (highly recommend if you have little ones in your group), rigatoni, and the signature eggplant parmesan with angel hair pasta. I also got the house side salad that was unique due to the addition of mandarin oranges and cranberry - a delightfully tasty twist to a house salad. Great portion sizes, that left us with delicious leftovers. We were celebrating a family birthday too - if you visit on your birthday and provide your driver's license you will receive a free dessert ( creme brulee was amazing) and a free $10 gift card for your next visit. As we were leaving I noticed there wasn't a seat left in the bar area and live music was just about to start on the patio too. Make sure to add Rosie's to your must-try list in the 419.

Great service and the atmosphere remains top notch. Started with hot mama bread. It was not cooked as much as it normally is, but still delicious. My husband's ribeye steak was giant and juicy and he said it was very good. My chicken parmesan was lukewarm at best and the chicken wasn't crispy, but instead a little soggy. Definitely not as good as I remember and I wish I would've gotten something else to eat. Desserts were excellent. I thought the service, meal, and table were fine. However, a waiter decided to run through the items on the menu, approximately 10 feet from us. It would not have been so noticeable but his voice carried, and it seemingly went on for a solid 5 minutes. If someone asks a question, fine, but it appeared this waiter was running through every possible menu item. A distraction to the ambiance of the meal.

Delicious food! Excellent service & clean dining. We made reservations for mom's 80th birthday party. Mom got a birthday to remember!! Many thanks to our entertaining, well seasoned waiter. Rosie did not ddisappoint!

My first time as Rosie's and we were absolutely amazed with it. Sheldon is literally one of the best servers I've had the pleasure of meeting anywhere. My wife n I are "foodies" and Sheldon's description and suggestions were right what we wanted. The food is 10/10 n service is the same. Ambiance is great. Will definitely be going back regularly.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was calming and relaxing. It was our 49th anniversary and we wanted to celebrate it here! We're so happy we did!!

My main criticism about Rosie's had always been about the inconsistency. However, I will now attest that haven't had a bad meal at Rosie's in about 5 years. Although Italy has over 4700 miles of coastline, I've never thought of sea food as being a particularly prime component of Italian cuisine. That said, at Rosie's, I usually order the "Fresh Catch of the Day." Choose your fish (today I picked grouper), choose your cooking style (for me, "Cajun Key West," a mix of milder Cajun spices and tropical fruits/citrus always satisfies). It comes with fresh veggie medley. The sizing is perfect...I'm always satiated, but never stuffed. Of course Rosie's has pasta, and meal salads, and steaks, and lamb chops, and pizza, etc. I'm a pizza guy, big time, and I've never thought Rosie's pie was that divine. My kids have always like it, though. Also the 'Hot Mama Bread?' Never understood why its so popular. The atmosphere is classic, especially the patio...long live Prince Rogers Nelson. This isn't where I come for craft beer, but the bar area is also a nice place to hang out for appetizers and drinks. The service is usually great, with Sheldon being, probably, the most professional waiter in this town. Four stars...almost five.

Made reservations for 5 people on 12/26 in the afternoon. First time dining at Rosie's Italian Grille and I had heard great tings about the food and service, so I was looking forward to this experience. Dining area was dimly lit making it a challenge to read the small print menu, even for the 20-something year old in the group. Our server was pleasant, but not very attentive considering the level of this establishment - just did not give you any warm fuzzies.. The food was good, but nothing over the top, considering price paid / portion size / and level of establishment. It was also quite loud making it challenging to hear conversation in our booth. Several of us in our group have had restaurant experience as wait staff / food servers, and we all agreed our experience was just so-so. Sadly, Rosie's Italian Grille did not measure up to the hype for us. Maybe under different circumstances and a more attentive, upbeat server would've made a difference.

Food is no better than Olive Garden. Extremely over priced. Gave one star because I can't do zero stars.

As soon as you enter through the door you're immediately taken to the country of Italy itself, and the longer you stay there the better it gets. You feel like you've "Got the World on a String" as Frank Sinatra might say. I ordered a side of Fettuccine Alfredo and renowned Mama's Bread which I thoroughly enjoyed. This place was well worth the long drive. A waiter that works there named Sheldon was a connoisseur of the restaurant's menu and he made everything sound so delectable. He goes to show that the person that waits on you can drastically change the whole experience. "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day."

I've been here two previous time and the food and service was good. My mother treated me for my birthday here along with my sister and niece, and we had issues with our food. It was a very dissapointing experience. I ordered the lasagna. They have two types. I ordered the one for $19.99 which is supposed to have a creamy sauce. I didn't realize till much later that I just received the classic lasagna. It came to the table barely luke warm. My sister had the same complaint about her dish. The waitress took to back to heat up some more, but mine was still not that hot. I just took it home, and that's when I realized I didn't even receive what I ordered. All in all, no one was pleased with their meal and this will be my last visit.

Never had bad food, always have good to great meals. Their Long Island ice tea is what I measure others by. It's the medicine you need after a long day. I always have the wife drive to keep all safe. Serving sizes are great, you'll get two to three meals out of a visit. The bar area is nice , has a good atmosphere.

Rosie's is never great, but they're definitely okay. From service, atmosphere to plate it's always just mediocre.

A group of 10 of us stopped in for a Sat night meal. Everything was excellent, and the service was awesome. Favs: lamb chops, lasagna. The side salads were generous and fresh. We'll definitely return!

Dude!!! I highly recommend getting the Seminole with swordfish, scallops, and shrimp! So freaking amazing. And I always enjoy they're hot mama bread also tried the Bubbly Rosie Martini which was ok and the flirtini that was good. I loved the presentation of the drinks. The atmosphere on the patio is gorgeous. They have a little waterfall and it's peaceful. Our waitress Grace was wonderful. She was fun and sweet
