Rosniyom Thai Street Food - Review - Livermore - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"There is much to love at this casual, sun-lit spot, but high on the list is their flavorful soups, particularly the khao soi, in a creamy yellow curry broth with tender chicken, egg noodles, and the savory boat noodle soup, with its plump pork meatballs. On the lighter side, the larb gai is refreshing but still satisfying, and the crispy kabocha squash is pleasantly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Mango with sticky rice is the only dessert on the menu, but Rosniyom’s textbook rendition of its sweet coconut-glazed rice and meticulously sliced mango is worth saving room for. The dining area is small—just a counter and a few tables—but it's typically possible to get a table, so this is a great pick for a casual but intimate dinner." - Gabi Moskowitz

My husband and I were driving through Livermore and stopped here for lunch - so glad we found this place! The food here is authentic and the menu features dishes you can't easily find at othet Thai restaurants. Service is great, portions are generous, and we will definitely be returning. Khao Ka Moo: Pork was very tender! It's a tad bit too sweet but the sauce helps cut some of that sweetness. Great balance! Khao Pad Gai Tod: Crispy chicken was crispy and delicious. The fried rice was simple but so flavorful! Such a great combo. Thai Tea: I loved that it wasn't overly sweet and it tasted like tea still (sometimes places dilute it too much and it's too sweet). Cold, creamy, and refreshing.

Google
I ordered the pumpkin curry, 🍛 which was delicious. I would’ve preferred the beef 🥩 to be more thinly sliced and tender, but overall it worked well. The place is cute and cozy, beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming

Google
We really liked the delicious, flavorful food here. Tried Pad Kee Maw and it was simply yummy and a Very Good portion size. It was a big plate that is good to be shared by 2 adults. Finished it all to the last bite; else would have posted a picture of the same😃 The iced tea was very refreshing as well. For Dessert, we tried the Mango Sticky Rice ( picture attached)-- remembered it before we ate it all😁 It was very delicious too. The place is small but atmosphere is casual and cosy. Overall, a good place to eat delicious Thai Food 👍👌

Absolutely loved this place. The flavors were authentic, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was incredibly friendly. Today we ordered Khao Soi, Som Tum, Pad Thai and Boat noodles. We will be back here again for sure 😊

Google
The best authentic Thai restaurant we’ve been to. All the dishes were flavorful and portions were good. Reasonable priced for the quality and freshness of food you’re getting.

Google
This place is an absolute gem, and I’m not just talking about their food. The service is top-notch too. They’ve been around for a while, and the quality of their food has consistently been excellent, especially their khao soi and kao pad gai tod. Honestly, everything they serve here is delicious. However, their space is small, so it might be hard to accommodate a large group. It’s probably best to call in early or order takeout.

Google
Only recently discovered this place and it's a 40+ minute drive for me, but after a couple of meals I'm convinced. Tried khao moo dang on my first visit and kana moo krob on my second. The crispy pork actually has the crispy bubbly skin which immediately raises the legitimacy. The fact that boat noodles, khao kha moo, and khao mun gai are on the menu hints that good times are ahead. Taste reminds me of the good stuff I had in Bangkok. I will definitely be back.

Google
Very good flavors and serving sizes, fresh ingredients, and the vegetables were not overcooked, plenty of protein in each dish. Prompt and friendly service, small place but nice atmosphere. It deserves the high rating on this app.

Yelp
This place is nestled between a Waffle House & sandwich shop. We ordered ahead about 30 mins to ensure we could grab n go if necessary. Although it's really tiny inside, they had a great alternative hightop singles table against the window with stools, my friends & I decided to go ahead and plop down and grub. Our to-go food was ready and waiting for us, the restaurant was almost packed which is always a good sign (full of business people). The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Good vibe. I had the kao pad gai tod (chicken katsu w fried rice) it was delicious and cooked perfectly, not overdone. The chicken satay looked amazing and the pad see ew looked fresh and tasty. My friends tasted my dish and they both liked it. We all plan to come back and try other dishes. I do recommend this business. I was too hungry to capture photos.

Yelp
It's a small place with 6-7 tables but the food was top-notch. One of the best experiences with Thai food. The only thing I missed out on was - Thai Beer, as they don't have a liquor license. Needed it on a hot day. Hopefully, they have it when we visit again.

Yelp
I'm Thai and I know how authentic Thai food should be. I ordered Kana Moo Krob. It's so good server and the owner are super friendly.

Yelp
Thanks to photos on Yelp, I ordered the Khao Pad Gai Tod -- fried chicken over fried rice -- and it did not disappoint. Super flavorful and crispy. If you're a fan of popcorn chicken, you'll probably love this. My husband also enjoyed his dish, which has been hard to find at other Thai spots. We came in for lunch, and while the shop is small and cozy, it wasn't busy at all -- we were actually the only dine-in customers waiting on food. That's why it was confusing (and frustrating) that our meals took so long to come out. I was starving by the time the food finally arrived. Unfortunately, service was basically non-existent. No one checked in on us, and when I flagged down our server to ask for chili sauce, it took an oddly long time to bring that out too -- and I wanted to add it to my food while it was still hot. The portions were generous, so I ended up packing the rest to go. I had a takeout box and a small sauce cup, and you'd think I'd be offered a bag... but nope, had to ask for that too. So while the food was great, don't come here expecting a quick lunch or attentive service.

Yelp
THIS PLACE SLAPS. I love walking into a Thai restaurant that actually represents Thai culture, and this spot nailed it--from the Thai music to a menu packed with legit dishes way beyond just Pad Thai. The second I saw Khao Mun Gai, Kao Kha Moo, Krapow Moo Krob, and all the classic condiments on the table, I knew we were in for something good. It's a tiny spot with limited seating, but honestly that just adds to the charm. It totally reminds me of a Thai street food restaurant--cozy, casual, and all about the food. Everything we ordered was straight : Thai boat noodles, yum woon sen, two types of papaya salad, wings zaap, Kao Kha Moo, baby back ribs, lychee ice tea, and a can of Coke. Every single dish was flavorful, comforting, and tasted like true home-style Thai food. Not one miss. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're in Livermore and craving real-deal Thai food, RUN here. Easy 10/10--will 100% be back. P.S. We were still hungry and ended up getting takeout too--Kao Pad Gai Tod, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry . So good we didn't even take many pics of the food!

Yelp
Had the Khao Soi which was delicious as well as the Pad See Ew which was tasty as well. We were coming back from Los Angeles and ordered through their app which was easy to use. They made us the food in 15-20 mins. sticky rice was great as well as the Boat Noodles. Grilled chicken was super tasty with the tangy sauce.

Yelp
One of the best Thai places in town! Practically every dish is delish and there's plenty of options for you to choose from. Great service and fast! Casual and cozy environment.

Yelp
Amazing staff and delicious food. My whole family enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again.
google avatar

Yelp
Quick and nice service overall. Clean and neat. Restroom is also clean and spacious. Ordered fried rice with fried chicken and chicken curry noodle. They both were delish, especially the chicken curry noodle. Will come again in the future.

Yelp
We came to the San Francisco Premium Outlets so I was looking at places that I don't think I would get in South Bay. I never thought highly of the Thai food in the bay area, so when I saw that this place was really highly rated with a lot of folks raving about it, I thought it would be a mistake not to give it a try. The place is actually pretty small with some group tables and some bar seating, but the owners are really accommodating and had us slotted in right when it was last call! We ordered beforehand, and got food within 5 minutes of sitting down. They have fish sauce in some of their dishes even with tofu, and the khao soi and pad thai are no exceptions. Though some of their other dishes can be made vegan they said, but I didn't really care and wanted to have the great flavor this was being raved about. The khao soi was very comforting, exactly what I expected even with the tofu. The noodles were a bit overcooked, and the curry itself felt a bit watered down so the flavor felt a little lacking, but still a solid dish. The pad Thai was my favorite, where the medium was on the spicier side but it was exactly how I liked it. The tamarind was the right amount too and felt more like an authentic pad thai. The mango sticky rice was underwhelming though. The rice and milk felt watered down too, and the mango wasn't ripe so not as sweet, which didn't help with the overall flavor. Overall it's a solid Thai place in the area, but nothing too crazy to rave about imo. But if you are in the area, I can definitely back the pad thai here, which they said is one of their most popular dishes!

Yelp
What a 5 star day! Love days like this! Even with my positive attitude, we still do NOT get enough days like this. Quality/Quantity - What a great discovery! After a long day at the Livermore wineries, see Dante Robere review, and after an even longer day at the outlets shopping with my daughter... We came here for a late dinner. Our last few Thai restaurants did not give us enough food, so I made sure we ordered an extra entree as we were all hungry. This place gave generous portions, so that was not necessary. I guess I am having Thai for lunch tomorrow, lol. Today we got the following: Khao Kao Pad Gai Tod - Done well. A good fry with the chicken. It was still tender in the center and with generous portions. And of course, good flavors. My daughter ordered all of our dishes mild. Khao Soi - Curry Broth, my wife's favorite. Pad See Ew - Pork. If you are following, my daughter's staple. We get this at every Thai restaurant. Actually, this was the only dish that I thought they could have been a little more generous. Krapow Gai Kai Dao - We felt this should be a signature item, a special...? This was my favorite, well most of our favorites! Atmosphere - Very small local business. Only 5 tables. Plenty of mall parking. Open 6 days a week from 11am or 11:30 am to 8:30pm, closed Sundays. Service - 5 stars. Professional, courteous, etc. Good thing we were doing family style, as the foods came out at different times. Came out fresh as they were made. Price - $77 + tip. Oh, by the way, you overcharged us 5 cents for the Krapow Gai Kai Dao; we did not bring it to your attention, but you might want to update your menus or register. Sadly, too many businesses these days are NOT charging advertised prices... And we rarely go back to those businesses when that happens. Please correct it so we can be regular customers. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020. Please double check all your prices to make sure they correspond, so we can become regular customers.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! 10/10 would recommend &will return. Although there isn't much seating, the food makes up for that bit of wait! Come try it if you haven't already. The Pad Thai isn't soggy or over cooked like many other places, it was PERFECT! The vegetarian curry was packed with flavor, and the Thai iced tea was gorgeous and super refreshing! I can't wait to come back and try the other items on their menu.

Yelp
This spot is solid place to get thai food. I was in the area and was craving Thai food. I saw this had pretty good reviews on Yelp and wanted to try for myself! It is a very small restaurant with a couple tables next to each other. Seems like a go to spot for to go orders as there was a lot of doordash/phone calls/people coming in to pick up their food. Food was good! I got boat noodle soup, green curry and som tum. Everything was great and came out pretty quick. If you are in the area and looking for a good thai spot, I would recommend here. Service was great as well!

Yelp
Was on my way to Sac and my hungry ass couldn't wait and had to stop halfway and stuff myself. Did a quick search for Khao kha moo...yes, I'm random like that... And found Rosniyom. Tiny place for a sit-down restaurant but my food was excellent! Perfect texture for the pork. Skin was good. Additional sauce was a plus. Hell, even the unsuspecting gai lan and pickled mustard greens was yummy. The perfectly cooked egg with the house hot sauce just made this dish top tier compared to the restaurants I went to in the city, the peninsula and the South Bay. Will be coming back for sure. I'm probably gonna drive my fat ass and find an excuse to be around the area. Service was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
It's a nice little cozy restaurant in Livermore. Lots of dishes to choose from! It was hard to choose what to order. For a party of four, we ordered: * Chicken Satay * Wings Zaap * Crab Fried Rice * Green Curry (with chicken) * Pad Makuer (with beef) * Pad Thai (with pork) * Thai Iced Tea The food overall was good and flavorful! We finished everything! There were maybe a few pieces of meat that were a little dry, but that was it. The Thai Iced Tea was good! We each got our own!

Yelp
True hidden gem that is a for sure place to try out if you are craving thai food. Parking can be a bit hard to find as this place is in a small shopping center. Be aware that most parking are for other businesses. Limited seating as well as you enter in. Luckily we got seated quick a little after they opened. Food is really good without a doubt. Not perfect and it has some flaws but overall good place to check out. Calamari was nice and fresh but very small portion from what we were expecting. The fried rice with fried chicken was really good! I really love how they have option of thai iced coffee and thai iced tea! Definitely a must order! The dried noodles were okay except it left this burnt after taste. Nothing wrong about that it was still good. They could add a few more dessert options and when I did ask for sanitizer they didnt have any. I would think most businesses would during this time of the year. Overall its a nice restaurant!

Yelp
Hubs took me here today during prime lunch hour. We sat at the bar and ordered lots of their staple items that helps me determine whether a Thai resto is good or not. Crab fried rice - Lots of lump crab. Super flavorful Pad see ew- They forgot but gave us a card to come back next time for a free one Thai iced tea- At 1st it looked too creamy but after a good stir and letting it sit a bit, the flavors were more settled. Chicken Satay- very tender juicy Meat. Peanut sauce was well balanced Also wanted to try the pineapple tea (a bit too heavy on the sweetness). Too stuffed for mango sticky rice. Will have to come back next time

Yelp
A small restaurant with BIG flavor! Of the many Thai restaurants I have been to this is the first where I asked for really spicy, and they delivered! The Pad Kee Mao comes as a "spicy" dish and they warned me that it might be "too spicy" I asked them to bring me their spiciest version....and I was NOT disappointed! If you come here and want spicy, ask for level 10 heat and they will deliver. We also had the pineapple fried rice, Pad See Ew, Wings Zaap, Iced coffee, and of course, Mango Sticky Rice as a finisher. All were cooked to perfection! The staff were very friendly and even humored my (probably annoying) comments about their spicy food probably wasn't spicy enough, answered all our questions about the dishes and were absolutely wonderful. The establishment is small so if you don't have the time I'd order ahead for takeout. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Back again. Ordered the fried baby back ribs the chicken satay. vegetable rolls, the eggplant with tofu and. Pad Wooo Sen. oh. My. Gosh! So very good! Table mate order the yellow curry, also delicious.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. I love Thai food and it's been a while since I found a place as good as this one. I live in Dublin but will drive all the way here for this. It's a small restaurant with only 4-5 tables but don't let that stop you. this is a must try. Food is outstanding!! The service is efficient and nice.

Yelp
Authentic Thai flavors in an unexpected gem! Rosniyom Thai Street Food in Livermore's gas station plaza exceeds expectations. Standout dishes: 1. Chicken Satay: Tender, juicy and perfectly grilled, paired with creamy peanut sauce. 2. Pad Thai Shrimp: Flavorful and expertly cooked. 3. Crab Fried Rice: Exceptional, a must-order! 4. Red Curry Chicken: Rich, flavorful and aromatic. 5. Krapow Gai Kai Dao: Stir-fried minced chicken, green beans and spicy Thai basil - spicy and savory. 6. Thai Iced Tea: It was the best we have ever tasted! Average dish: * Calamari: Ordinary, skip next time. Other recommendations: * Yellow Curry with Potatoes: Mild, comforting. Don't let the location fool you - Rosniyom's authentic, mouth-watering Thai street food rivals top-tier restaurants. Friendly service, generous portions and reasonable prices. A must-visit for Thai food enthusiasts!

Yelp
Best pad thai I've ever had to date! Portions were served perfectly. The noodles were firm and well cooked. Sauce was also moderate. Overall a pleasant dining experience here. Located right off the freeway and near a gas station. Best place to fuel up if you ask me! Service was quick too, my coworker and I had no problems having our water filled since a bottle was generously placed at the table.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and basic service. I liked the pad Thai but prefer it less sweet than served here. The green curry was very good, just the right amount of spiciness. Come for the food, not the ambiance and you'll enjoy a nice, casual lunch. Next time I may try their pork belly dish.

Nadia C.

Yelp
I only got the crab fried rice and added shrimp to go and it was just ok especially for the price. The was a decent amount of rice and only 3 shrimp and it really lacked flavor. I wouldn't purchase again.
google avatar

Sonia H.

Yelp
It's such a great go to Thai place! The inside is small but still fit quite a few tables. I tried the fried rolls and stir fried glass noodles. I like the noodles came with lots of vegetables. The menu has many items that I'm not familiar with. I saw people on other tables having rice with fried egg on top and ground meat on the side that looks yummy. I'll definitely try when I come back next time.
google avatar

Carissa D.

Yelp
Only tried the coffee but it is very good and plentiful for the reasonable price. To compare, you pay more for less at other popular coffee chains. Very strong with good flavor. But by that token it's very acidic. I still enjoyed it and would buy again but will take an antacid with it to avoid heartburn.

Yelp
My Dad lives nearby to Rosniyom Thai Street Food and wanted to take me. We came after work for a quick meal and left content. The restaurant is unassuming and quite small. Tables are limited and cramped near each other. Luckily we sat immediately but my Dad said it's quite popular and wait times can vary. The decor is minimal and Thai-inspired while service was quick to be helped and served. I love noodles so chose the Pad See Ew with Tofu. The noodles had the right texture, but the Chinese broccoli and carrots were quite hard, and not cooked enough. My Dad enjoyed the Pad Thai with Prawns. I had a bite and enjoyed it. I will say that portions are generous and we left with takeout boxes. Though I'm unfamiliar with the Thai food scene in Livermore, I can understand why Rosniyom is popular. The food is decent, the service is fast, and the portions are generous. Find them in the Northfront Road shopping plaza with free parking out front.
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
There's a dish that I can't find at most Thai places. It's minced chicken with rice and a fried egg. I was looking for it everywhere at other Thai places but I know of only this spot, and another in town that has this dish. Rosniyom's was okay. The service was slow for not being busy. We had to get up and ask for stuff like a to-go box, because no one was coming around.
google avatar

Kaelin N.

Yelp
Who would have thought? I came here with recommendation from a friend fr a Sunday dinner and everything was remarkable! I LOVED the larb and crab fried rice! Service was friendly and quick. It's on the smaller size inside; when we finished up dinner there were parties waiting for a seat. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is really good! One of my top thai places in the bay area! I usually get the tom yum soup with chicken and it never disappoints. The staff is also very friendly and super nice. There is also enough parking in the plaza that it is in. Check this place out if in Livermore.
google avatar

Karishma M.

Yelp
This was good! The pad kee mow not only tasted good but also had an appropriate amount of tofu, and they understand vegetarian and vegan with no issues which is great. We also had great service. There is nothing I can complain about. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend.
google avatar

Jessica Z.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This place has become my new go to spot whenever I'm in the area. This time I ordered their pad kee mao with chicken which I truly enjoyed. It was packed with flavor. Noodles were cooked just right and came with a good amount of protein and veggies. Though, it was supposed to come with tomato and I didn't see any; no big deal though. I usually like a little kick so I asked for their spice tray and added to my liking. I also tried their thai tea which was alright, not the best I've had. Service is great. It's usually this one super friendly lady running around, handling everything from taking orders for dine in and take out, waiting tables, cleaning tables, etc. Basically everything except cooking and plating the food. I don't know how she does it all! All in all, would highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Do try to get there early or be ready to wait. We got there around 12:20pm on a Saturday and the last avail table was offered so we waited around 35 minutes. * Som Tum 4 stars - It was very close to the ones I had in Thailand. It was spicy enough and not too watery like many other places. * Baby back ribs 3 stars - it was okay, the meat was tender and almost falling off bones. My piece was a bit chewy but my friend really like his piece. The sauce flavor was good but not something I really enjoyed. * Krapow Gai Kai Dao 3.7 stars - it is sometimes simply referred as basil minced chicken by other Thai restaurants. It came with rice and the very flavorful. I wish it was a bit more spicy and more basil. Like most Thai food it was sweet... a bit too sweet for me. But overall flavor was good and very appetizing. *Pad Woon Sen 4.5 stars - I guess we got the seafood version? The glass noodles was yummy and the amount of topping pushed it higher. This was the first time for me to try this type of noodles in any Thai restaurant and I really enjoy this one. * Crab fried rice 4 stars - I really wanted to try Tom yum tried rice but my friends wanted crab fried rice so... other than the load of crab meat this fried rice was ordinary in Thai fried rice arena. The taste was very regular fried rice but you do taste the "wok essence " which is a must in any Asian fried rice dishes. This dish get 4 stars because of the amount of crab meat... * Boat Noodles soup 1.5 stars... The taste was a bit strange for me... sour and sweet. The meat was tough and noodles overly cooked. The broth... how should I put it... was dirty. Must be personal preference I prefer my noodles broth clear but this broth looked cloudy maybe because it was cooked with all the bone marrow grounded with blood?? I am not sure but it was CLOUDY with small brown particles... and the sweet and sour taste was not something for me. * Thai iced tea- 3.5 you really can't mess up with this stable drink. This was nothing special just something I feel like I have to order in Thai restaurants... I gave less than 4 because it was way too much ice. The place was small with limited seating. The kitchen is right there but thanks to amazing ventilation I didn't not come out of the restaurant like I have been working there for 12 hours. The service was okay - they were busy so I didn't not expect much. Overall the food was decent but really not something that would trigger an urge to visit. I would definitely go if my friends wanted to go but that is it.

Yelp
Rosniyom is a small, cozy restaurant offering authentic Thai street food in a casual setting. The Lao Style Som Tum was a salad of shredded papaya, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies, all in a pungent, salty fermented fish sauce. The New York Steak was a juicy, grilled and sliced steak served with lettuce, spicy sauce, and sticky rice; and the Triple F was a whole butterflied pompano fillet, which was deep fried, topped with fish sauce, and served with a tart salad of shredded green apple, peanuts, carrots, red onions, and cilantro. But my favorite dish was definitely the Khao Soi, an egg noodle soup in a spiced curry broth, topped with a whole chicken leg, shallots, pickled mustard greens, and crispy egg noodles on top. The hearty, spicy, coconut curry broth brought all the ingredients together into a delicious noodle soup, making this a truly memorable dish!

Yelp
Honestly some of the best fried rice and chicken I've ever had. The service was good, friendly, and welcoming. The inside is small but the vibes are up! 10/10 and a must try!!

Yelp
Scrumptious!!!!! Will definitely be taking my family out to eat here again. Service was pretty good even though they were busy.

Yelp
I've been craving Thai food since I've moved to the valley and haven't had a fix in so long. Ordered pad Thai and it was delicious, prawns were big and juicy and full of flavor. Also ordered the pad kee mao and it had a good heat to it. I personally would've liked spicier but for anyone, it's a great kick and tasted great. Service was good. Friendly and fast. Place was clean and tidy. Small little restaurant but definitely was delicious. Will be coming here to satisfy my Thai cravings.

Yelp
This hole-in-the-wall random gem is so out of place at Vasco Rd and 580. Nothing there but gas, fast food, and this wonderful restaurant. I live at that intersection, let Altamont/Brentwood traffic stare at tail lights and try this place. KHAO SOI GAI!!!!! You probably haven't had this dish before at your average Thai place, it's not on the menu. I beg you to try it if you want something unique. It's like thai curry met ramen, with noodles and pickled vegetables melting together in a creamy coconut chicken soup. It's like eating pho though, once you mix, you gotta eat it meow, but they will package in all it's pieces so that you can get the full experience at home. Only restaurant within a mile of my house worth leaving a glowing review for. Cherry on top, their service is top notch. The rest of the menu is excellent in flavor and quality, but mostly common items. It's a street food place, and it's street food tiny, simple, and tasty. Expect a satisfying meal at a decent price no matter what you order.

Yelp
Came here on a weekend afternoon at a bit of an odd hour (probably around 3-4pm), but they were open. The inside was fairly empty, so we were seated right away. I love Thai street food, so was really looking forward to this meal. We did come on a hot day though and it felt as though the AC was not on, so the inside of the store was super stuffy. Kind of reminded me of summers in Southeast Asia lol, so I guess it's authentic? Anyway, we were super hungry and usually eat with our eyes, so obviously ended up ordering too much. We ordered the (1) larb with beef, (2) Tom yum fried rice, and (3) pad makuer with chicken. I also ordered a Thai iced coffee, which was alright. The portions are pretty big! I would say 1-2 dishes is enough for 2 people to enjoy. The larb (1) was really flavorful, refreshing, and tasty. Especially wrapped in the lettuce that was provided, felt like we were being healthy cuz of all of the veggies. The fried rice (2) was probably my favorite item! Amazing tom yum flavor and lots of seafood. I loved the shredded pieces of kaffir lime leaf throughout. The chicken dish (3) was good as well, but we ended up packing most of this to go, as we were already full. Plus, this tasted much better when we ate it with steamed rice at home! Overall, I enjoyed my meal here! Would recommend, definitely try the tom yum fried rice.

Yelp
I have gone to Ros Ni Yum Thai Street Food restaurant twice now, and it is absolutely incredible! I was trying to find a good restaurant that is near the Livermore Outlets because pretty much the food at the Livermore Outlets isn't that great. I'm so glad I found this restaurant because it is so good and such a hidden gem! I have tried the fried chicken over fried rice and also the khao ka moo, which is the stewed pork in Chinese five spices. I highly recommend the fried chicken over a fried rice because, oh my goodness, they make it differently here than other restaurants. The fried rice has so much flavor, and the fried chicken is big, crispy, and juicy. Their Thai iced tea is really good also, and when I asked for light ice, the staff fills up the cup to the top, unlike other Thai restaurants I have been to. Service is friendly and both times I have gone, it's been simple and friendly, kind of like visiting a friend's house. I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Came in for dinner and was seated quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes for our party of 8 to share and everything was delicious! We had a few people in the party who can't eat spicy and everything came out perfect. Everything was so delicious that I ate before taking pictures! Would definitely come back again.

Yelp
This is the best Thai spot in Livermore!! I've tried so many Thai restaurants in Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Dublin... this is the place I highly recommend. The restaurant is tiny and the food might take a while to come out, but their food is soooo good!! It's worth the wait.

Yelp
Ros Ni Yom is where Thai Chef once was. inside dining area less than 10 tables. reached capacity within 15 minutes. minimalist decor. handed menu upon being seated. order taken within 5 minutes. offerings: curries, stir fries, grills, noodles, dessert, appetizers, salads, soups, chef's specials, sides, drinks. eats: Tod Mun (fried fish cake, 12) -5 pieces had dipping sauce of cucumbers, carrots, chili pieces & crushed peanuts. Chili seeds sole source of extreme heat. -fish cake taste was flavor neutral. flavor came from dipping sauce. -basket of sauces available: chili sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, & ? *diy possible. Raw, fresh fish cake available in most Asian fish markets. Look for tray of pinkish/grayish grounded fish. Boat noodle soup (14.50) with beef broth -broth had thick beef flavors, probably boiled for many hours. -fresh tasty ingredients of green onions, bean sprouts, meatballs, fried garlic. Chinese broccoli, cilantro, rice noodles. -broth & yummy plentiful soup contents makes this entree uniquely artisan. 4.5 stars. food worthy/unique. doubtful repeat. eatery too cramp for comfort. take outs: -parking area small -eatery faces a gas station.

Yelp
I tried this restaurant this Thur. The location is easy to find, and parking okay. The food was very great! I was surprised at the great service. The food came out quickly, and the server was very attentive and helpful. This was the best service and food I have had in some time. I enjoyed the experience and will return.

Yelp
Walked in on a weekday night not expecting much because of their tinted windows to find that the restaurant was completely full. They pulled out a temporary table for us to sit and order while we waited for an actual table - about 10 minutes. Pad thai was very good, new york steak was ok, tom yum soup was ok. Will come back for the pad thai and try the fried chicken fried rice.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Boat noodle is a must! Make sure you ask for their chilis (really spicy). It's more towards the flavorful side so prepare to get thirsty after eating.

Yelp
We went to this place for lunch after doing a 2-hr hike a bit down the street at Brushy Peak. We ordered Laab Gai with sticky rice, Chinese Broccoli stir fry with crispy pork and Tod Moun Bhlah. All dishes were authentic and made me feel at home. Highly recommend. Sadly, they didn't have garlic rice with chicken that day. I'll definitely come back to try more dishes!

Yelp
Ended up here by sheer luck - I pulled off the freeway on my way home to Oakland thinking that I might find Starbucks or something. It was about 5:30pm, I knew I would have to unload the car and feed the cats, putting me at a very late dinner. I saw the sign for Ros Ni Yom and was intrigued -- it's in a totally unassuming mini strip mall next to a brightly lit am/pm gas station. I checked out the menu and decided to give a try -- Panang Curry (no fish sauce) with tofu and brown rice. I also ordered the Pineapple tea - I was so pleased with my dinner! The brown rice was perfectly cooked and sticky enough to ball with chopsticks to dip in my curry (yum) which was really excellent - with fresh broccoli, thickly sliced zucchini, green beans and slivered red bell peppers. The veggies were NOT overcooked and squishy but still had some "tender crisp" bite to them - I loved the zucchini in this dish so much! I'm going to bookmark this as a new "favorite location" to visit again and try other vegan friendly options. Btw, the bathroom, though humble, is incredibly clean!
