Rosti Tuscan Kitchen - Calabasas

We were looking for a place to have brunch for a small celebration. I think this is easy great family spot to have a good time and good food. Don’t expect anything extra ordinary or high quality, because you go there to feel like at home. My husband said steak and eggs for brunch were top 10!!!

We celebrated our holiday dinner party at Rusti Kitchen Calabasas with our entire staff, and we were extremely happy with the service, food, ambiance, and overall experience. We arrived a bit early, and the owners kindly seated us at the bar and offered complimentary drinks while our table for 20 was being prepared. Throughout the evening, they checked in with us to make sure everything was taken care of. Our staff loved everything that was served buffet-style—salmon, pasta, salads, pizza, vegetables, chicken, and a delicious dessert. We never felt rushed and truly felt at home, which made the night even more special. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend Rusti Kitchen. We will definitely consider them again for future team gatherings.

We absolutely loved this place! From the friendly staff to the delicious food, great drinks, and warm atmosphere -- everything was spot on. I started with an Old Fashioned from the bar and it was perfect. The menu is fantastic, offering nearly every dish in a vegetarian or vegan version -- such a rare and thoughtful touch. There's truly something for everyone here. Bravo, Rosti!

Let me just start by saying that the food there was decent. I mean, the portions were good, and almost all the dishes we had were delicious. I really impressed me was their marinara sauce, sometimes that stuff can be too heavy or acidic, but not here. It felt just right in my 40 something yr old stomach Their service was a bit slow and this is a minor complaint, I wish they had some nice wine glasses. We brought along a good bottle of wine, and it just seemed wrong sipping it out plain little wine glasses that looked and felt like plastic. Overall it was a great experience.

If you’re there for happy hour definitely look over your receipt because mine was incorrect as was another persons from a different table and they have the slowest system in place to correct it, so it didn’t get fixed. Food was cool. There were a lot of employees but service was sooo slow. We got water and our drinks after we finished our food.

I tried their mushroom truffle soup and it was pretty good. I also tried their Salmon salad and calamari, both tasted great and were cooked to perfection. Recommend them both. The outdoor seating is great and the complimentary bread and olive oil is always great for the table. Staff has been excellent with their customer service on point.

I was there last night, our server didn’t have a name tag, so I don’t know his name, but he had white-gray hair. For every order I had to repeat myself twice and he barely checked on our table because he seemed busy with other table, which I think might have been his family or friends. I ordered the mushroom truffle pizza, after 20 minutes he brought the wrong order. I waited for him around 7 minutes and just asked another staff member to call our server. When he came over and realized the order was wrong, simply asked if we want to keep the wrong pizza or change it to our original order. He took the wrong one and after another 20 minutes finally brought the correct one. He didn’t asked or recommend any drink or any small food during this 20 minutes that we waited for our order. 🧐🧐🧐🧐 This is not the level of service I expected for this restaurant, especially when a mistake is made by them. And asked me to pay full Amount without any discount or any offer. 🧐🧐🧐 I also called afterwards and spoke to supervisor on duty , who asked me for my name and phone number to give it to GM . She told me the GM would call me , but I never received any call. It was extremely disappointing service. I truly believe you will start losing customers with this kind of d of services.

Great drinks. All service staff very nice. Juan was helpful in deciding which of the 20 salads to choose, he's had them all. And half off drinks and apps at happy hour doesn't hurt either. I saw the pizza at another table that needed a triple spatula cheese pull to get it all on the plate. Be trying that next time.

Since I got sick, eating out is a big project because I have to follow a diet called the low FODMAP diet which is very restrictive and specific. For example, I can have 3 1/4 sun dried tomatoes or 5 cherry tomatoes. Not sure what a normal serving size is since they are being so precise with those measurements but sizes vary so much! In any case, I went to Rosti Tuscan and studied the menu in advance so ordering wouldn't take so long. When I got there, I asked the waiter questions and he answered them and gave me recommendations on protein selection and salad and got my unique specifications all correct, even down to the marinade the vegetables were in. I am super grateful as I survived the meal without any allergic reactions and enjoyed the ambience of the outdoor seating. Staff was super attentive. We got there right before closing so it would have been nice to be able to stay a bit longer to chat more with my date but it was understandable since it was a weeknight. Thank you so much - so grateful I have a restaurant I can have a nice meal at without worrying about getting sick.

Came here for dinner tonight with a friend and the food was terrible. We ordered fries to start with and when it came out it was all tiny little pieces. I had to ask the server if that's what they considered fries or if we got a bad batch, he apologized and said it was a bad batch and they'd bring us a new one. Our food arrived shortly after, we got the ragu with gluten free pene and had to spit it out. It tasted like absolute poison. There was such a harsh bitter taste to it, it made no sense. It tasted like actual poison there's no other word for the taste. Awful was an understatement. We ate the pizza to get the nasty taste out of our mouth, and it didn't work. By the time we got done with the pizza the new order of fries hadn't even come out. The only nice thing they did for us was comp the pizza because the pasta was poison and the fries never came out. The food that was served to us should be illegal to serve. We both felt terribly sick after that pasta.

To me service begins when there is an issue. We typically order food to be delivered. There is rarely any issues. Last night. The order was wrong and we called to ask it to be corrected. The Manager called us back and listens to our frustration regarding the apparent indifference from the staff. As most in the restaurant industry know, Mondays are not usually busy. However this night was the busiest they had had in months causing the abruptness of the staff. The Manager listened and offered an apology and offered to have the new ordered delivered. Due to staff shortages she actually delivered the order personally. Problems happen but solutions are most important. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but I remember her and her unparalleled resolve. Great service great women great food. I had to share this.

I came here to get an entree that I attempted to get through Grub Hub but could not due to a driver issue. I finally got it , pictured below, and it was delicious ! The manager Bella was very nice and even offered up a slice of their pistachio cheesecake, also delicious ! I will for sure return soon !

My date and I received friendly service. It was such a cute place with candles, soft music, cozy vibes and perfect for a date night. I ordered basil rigatoni pasta with pink vodka sauce and was super delicious! He ordered lasagna and was so satisfied. We got complimentary red wine and were so good, too! We're definitely coming back again during Valentine's.

Took them forever to bring out our dinner! Everything came one by one. Our garlic bread came to the table midst of us finishing up. Food was good tho.

We decided to try this spot Rosti in Calabasas and it did not disappoint! We sat outside and it was great! Flowers, heating lamps and space. Our server Danielle was awesome . She made a lot of suggestions. But what I really loved about the restaurant is they do all types of modifications for everyone's dietary needs. We ordered the spinach salad w pine nuts and I added pear which was soaked in wine. Shrimp scampi, which I had to modify to add very very light cream was delicious. My friend ordered the fan favorite linguine w blackened chicken with gluten-free pasta and he loved it. Everything we tried was delicious!! They offer a great wine list and desserts. I will definitely highly recommend this Italian restaurant. I can't wait to return to Calabasas and one of my new favorite Italian spots in LA.

Good quality of food. The chicken was juicy. The sandwich I got this time wasn't super flavorful, maybe because there was only oil on it and no sauce? But I don't recommend it unless you're in a healthy mood I guess haha. Tons of fries and they were delicious. When you check in here you get a free glass of any of the house wines! Which is awesome!!! Service wise they were really nice and accommodating! They have heaters outside if you are a bit cold! They let us try some of the soups before ordering a full cup or bowl! Inside looked very nice, dim lighting which is typical for an Italian restaurant! And outside was pretty as well. Tons of seating available. Parking is the only issue because there are a lot of restaurants and Trader Joe's so it was packed! We had to circle a few times, especially around lunch time on the weekend. Overall I'd like to come back!

Had a great time coming here for a group meeting of about 30 people. The service was a little discombobulated at the beginning but it totally smoothed out as our event got going. I love the food here, last time it was the chicken parm and this time it was the Tuscan Cobb Salad. We had many appetizers that were a terrific deal especially when ordered during the 50% off at Happy Hour. Just a very laid back comfortable venue with pretty easy parking. Can't wait to go back again. This is about my fourth time here but first review. Keep up the good work!

Food is good. Pizza is usually really good. Service? So we sat down, guy next to us had his dog on his lap. Clearly not a service dog. His water dish had spilled. They say is a table and waiter noticed the water and said, "oh, let me go clean it". We said "we will just sit over there" He said, no, that's a table for four. (Bunch of empty tables everywhere). Not horrible just weird.

Solid Italian restaurant and the portions sizes are usually big enough for a second serving. The inside is very clean and their menu is huge so there should be something for everyone to pick. Heads up, if it's dinner service or busy times over the weekend, make sure to make a reservation. We didn't but still had a good time at the full service bar.

Have been here many times and frankly every time seems better than the last. Had an amazing meal but the highlight was also the service. Idk why it's so hard to get great service these days but they sure have it covered there. SUCH nice staff and so accommodating. Food was awesome especially if ur vegan they have an ENTIRE menu for you as well as a new desert they legit fly in from Italy (actually a lot of their deserts they fly in from Italy) I love this place cannot wait to go back

Had a nice dinner here after hiking. My waitress was very sweet and made sure my meal was perfect and checked in on me often. Plenty of free parking and the restrooms were clean. I'll be back and suggest you check them out. They offer a free glass of wine with a Yelp check in.

We are visiting for the weekend and ate here last night, two adults and three teens and were very happy with our meals and service! Had a reservation and was seated right away. The ambiance was so nice. The patio is gorgeous, but it was pretty chilly so we sat inside. Husband got the roasted brick chicken, mashed potatoes and spinach, I got the fig and arugula salad, kids got fettuccine Alfredo, creamy pesto pasta and the chicken caprese sandwich. I, of course, tried a bite of everyone's meal because that's what moms do. Everything was delicious. I wish I had taken a few photos. Staff was friendly. Alicia served us and was super sweet and helpful with menu suggestions.

We love Rosti's Calabasas food very much, tasty and made with such care. We had the BEST service, both last night and today! Alicia, Lily and Vanessa rock! while so many other restaurants were closed due to the Los Angeles fires, Rosti and their dedicated staff were there for us. My husband, two dogs and I were treated with love and compassion. Our Golden Retriever who has terminal cancer and didn't want to eat anything all day, also appreciated the ambiance and their delicious bread. Deeply grateful

Dude what the heck is up with their portions!? My wife ordered to go and I'm looking at one of the entrees (Alfredo) and it looks like it was 3/4 eaten!! We also got the rigatoni, which thankfully it looks fine, but the Alfredo is the same cost but to get only 3-4 bites of pasta in a white sauce is ridiculous. Take a look at the photo for reference.. what a joke

Stopped at Rosti's Tuscan Kitchen in Calabasas for a lite lunch and ordered Antipasti Salad and Penne All' Arrabbiata ( bit spicy). The server Anthony was prompt and knowledgeable about the dishes. Ambiance was relax and cool, not too busy at the time I arrived. Overall it was a good experience

Location 4: In Calabasas, CA in West SFV, across from the upscale Commons complex. Self-parking is free and easy to come by. There is no Valet parking. Venue 4: Rustic and inviting yet unpretentious set up with indoor and outdoor seating. Service 3: Service was polite but not attentive. Food 3: Italian fare which I love. Food however was not particularly well-prepared or tasty. We ordered the Crispy Calamari and the Bruschetta Pomodoro as appetizers. They were ok. The main dishes, the Chicken Milanese, the Grilled Eggplant Parmigiano, the Spaghetti Beef Ragu, and the Steak & Gorgonzola Sandwich were all average at best and not memorable. Drinks 4: They have about a dozen specialty cocktails and a small selection of beer and wine. We had the Italian Old-Fashioned and a glass of house Pinot Noir which were OK. The Last Word 3: I had wanted to try Rosti for a long time. Unfortunately, when we finally did, it did not meet my expectations.

How can a big bar and restaurant get away with not accepting cash? "Legal tender for all debts public and private." Printed right on the bills.

Me and my family decided to stay despite the mandated evacuations in Hidden Hills and Calabasas. Everything at the commons was closed so we went to Rosti's. The manager, Vanessa, was so kind. They were slammed and understaffed. Everyone was so sweet. This is such a hard time for everyone. Our waiter was so sweet. The food is amazing. The calamari is a must. It's so beautiful inside. The ambiance is amazing. Just all around amazing experience. They refilled our drinks and water regularly. They checked in regularly and got us everything we needed despite how busy they were. I've been coming here since I was kid, and it never disappoints. If you're staying in the area definitely check them out and give them your support. Amazing staff, food, and restaurant.

Went for lunch the other day with my friend who was wanting Italian food. Lovely ambiance, we sat outside. I had the eggplant parmigiana and it was delicious. My friend had the meatball hero which she enjoyed. Our server Edwin was great - kind , professional and went above and beyond. Really nice experience.

I put in the uber eats notes for you to not forget my bread. Then I message the uber driver and tell him to remind you guys. Still I get no bread. I paid 42 dollars for pasta with pink sauce and you guys skimp me on bread. And there is barely any sauce in my pasta. It's always something with Rosti. The food is never ready on time and it's insanely over priced. But the actual food is not bad. Just stop being greedy and skimping people

This place is fantastic, the atmosphere and the food is great! Alicia was great, she made sure to check on us throughout the night and made sure we were doing good. Would definitely recommend!

I still love their tiramisu, but I was pretty disappointed with their pizza and Calamari. The calamari is hardly breaded and the portion is tiny. But I can say that the ingredients in the calamari do taste fresh, it just wasn't satisfying. The pizza honestly just did not stand out, I expected something unique and flavorful but it was pretty bland. The pastas and their sauce were pretty solid though, but I can't speak too much for their pastas since I'm not a huge pasta fan. The bread was also cold when we got it but they had olive oil/pepper/cheese to make a nice dip which went well bread. The inside is spacious and clean, and their outdoor seating is nicely shaded. The service was good and the waiter was willing to explain a lot of things which was nice!

Me and my wife love coming to this place. Great ambience and the food is amazing. They have all kinds of options and are very gluten-free and vegetarian friendly. My wife is gluten-free and loves coming here as they have a clean kitchen and we are never worried for cross contamination. Love that they have a glass partition and you can see everything too! The drinks are amazing as well. The team all works very well together. Absolutely recommend for lunch or dinner! I love the pasta and the pizzas while my wife goes for the different fish and a gluten-free pizza especially the tiramisu is amazing as well

YES! Finally, an affordable Italian restaurant that slaps! I will be back! Service: 5 stars. Juan was on it, and checked in with us at least 8 or 8 times within the hour we were there. The managers (plural) also popped in here and there. We felt comfortable. The Food: oh my, heavenly. In general, the food came out fairly quickly. It was impressive sitting by the kitchen glass, seeing the chef's work in lockstep to get all the orders out. Speaking of which, compliments to the entire kitchen staff for doing Italian right. Round of applause! They use real garlic, then they put in whole cloves of garlic, then they chop up even more garlic. Let's just say everything is fresh, and it shows. Finally!, as well, this is a place that doesn't use dried oregano where they're not supposed to. Thank god! Hot, fresh bread came to the table right away with butter. I love how they do that. It's really crusty, reminds me of Il Fornaio bread that you would buy at Ralph's. Steamed Mussels: 10 large per order, real garlic in a flavorful broth. Winner! The mussels are huge, and bright orange in color, which shows how fresh they are and how they're supposed to be. I love how they give you a half a lemon to squeeze into the broth. Definitely a big bread Dipper for sure. Linguine & Clams Red Sauce: packed a punch, very flavorful, not overly salty at all, and you can taste how fresh the clams are. You can feel the balance of a Tangy sauce, bright notes of flavor, mixed with very fresh clams. It's the right amount of sauce too, not drowned in it. But enough that you could dip your bread if you wanted to. You can see all the herbs and spices in the photos I took. Large Bleecker Street Pizza: if you like a mellow ricotta, mixing pleasantly with mild sausage and pepperoni, this might be the one for you. I like how it's not salty at all, not overpowering in any part. What I also love is the crust. It has taste, and flavor, and you can pick up the Smoky notes from the Wood-Fired oven. If you can get the crust right, and the sauce right, the rest is heaven. Rosti did it right. Happy Hour! Weekdays, 3p - 6p. I will be back for that. 25% off appetizers. I mean, that's reason to come in just for that. Timing is everything: Saturday night 545 - 645pm. It was easy to get a table for two, four, even six people. The place is occupied, but not overly packed. I think after 7:00 is when their dinner rush hits. AND they take reservations. Wooooo! Parking: not bad. There's usually a space or two earlier in the dinner times. The restaurant is located across the street from the Calabasas Commons. Worst case, you could park there and walk across? I will be back! ...with like 8 people next time. Lol. By the way, It's worth bringing big groups. Family Friendly. This is a good spot if you're visiting from out of town, or even just a local. I feel like for the money you spend, you're getting your money's worth. It's an experience, the quality is there, and your appetite will thank you.

I had my birthday dinner at Rosti. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back. Thankyou Rosti for giving me a great birthday experience.

If you are reading this، do yourself a favor and go to trader joes in the same strip mall, get yourself a ready made salad, ready made sandwich and frozen pizza and eat It it right there in the parking lot, your food will taste better (including the frozen pizza not warmed up). Food is bland and mediocre at best, reminiscent of a nice hospital meal. Only reason it got the 2 stars is for a young man named Matt which served us. Amazing service (handled the entire patio like a champ, very attentive and opened convos will all tables ) . Honestly clueless how this place has 4 stars, bar must be low in Calabasas ???

When we go to a restaurant for the first time I want a clear understanding of what the restaurant does best not 8 pages of different things that make it difficult to order. It also gives you the impression that they are still figuring it out. That was my experience the other night. The four of us had the same feeling and experience. My wife with her chicken parm. My RISOTO the aborio rice not cooked right. My friends fish bronzino was covered over with stuff and his wife's pasta under cooked. Service was good but the food disappointing and over priced for what it was. They need to figure out who they are and what they do best. I would go back and give them another chance because the service was good. Irwin Z

We came here a couple of months ago, and had such fantastic food but we remember Kristy and was hoping she would be here today. We came in a party on 20, they accomaaccommodate us and everything was great. When we walked in and saw Kristy was there we immediately knew it was going to the best service. Was honestly came because of her hospitality. Today couldn't have gone any better. Best birthday for my friend and the service was impeccable. Anytime we fly in, I hope to come here and see her. Over priced for the terrible service and lack of quality- Front Staff has ZERO attention to detail zero accountability and all seem too young and flustered, especially for a place that was relatively empty. *Order was Missing Dessert items- *$20.00 for a half salad- They placed in togo bag on top of warm pasta ruining the salad (After calling my ordering in and asking that they place salad in separate bag) *2 Large Pizzas-Had potential great potential but crust was so raw and floppy tasted like slop. ROSTI BE BETTER

I remember coming here 6 years ago and was looking forward to a great meal. Our server Kristy was very pleasant. Sorta loud inside around 6:30 on a Friday but not terrible. Overall nice vibes

This is for ownership: if you're going to run deceptive ads that state 50% off a 2nd entree with purchase of an entree, then in small print write take out only, you're going to lose customers, including this one.

By far, my favorite Italian place in Calabasas! I come here because the food is absolutely delicious and the service is always spectacular. Scott & Jamie I always so kind and accommodating. They really create a memorable environment for all the patrons. Definitely have to express my gratitude to both of them for accommodating the kids and making sure the kids are happy and entertained.

...my wife and i LOVE this local restaurant...the food is very good and priced reasonably...more importantly, the service is EXCELLENT...we love the bartenders: Michael and Bella...they make the best lychee martinis--YUMMY!!!...and servers Elisha and Ethan go out of their way to mkae sure we have a great experience...the managers are always attentive and caring...we highly recommend this local eatery...

Had dinner here Friday night and Alicia was our server, she was the best!! Super attentive and great personality very friendly and had great menu suggestions. Everything was delicious and also the drinks were fabulous! The Paloma was 10/10 and the spicy pink sauce is so good!! Highly recommend for a date night or girls night!

Rosti is very consistent we've come here for years a few times each year. The pasta are very good the pizza is good and the salads are good. Customer service is on point Our customer Parsa was our service very professional and attentive absolutely love this. He made good suggestions and was very personable Great Customer Service The Manager Jamie came around checking on tables which is a plus. My go to stop when in Calabasas. They also have a Rosti in Brentwood and Santa Monica which we have visited also.

The supervisor, Bella, is immensely professional, friendly, thoughtful and facilitated all my special request. The food is robust and the freshness is obvious. The convivial atmosphere delivers a wonder ambiance.

The food and the service were great. Their pink sauce was very flavorful. The portion sizes were very generous. Are server Alicia B. was amazing. Attentive, she pointed out specials that should not have been missed. And, if you are an espresso snob, the bartender knows how to extract a perfect dose. Go, go GO....

I have not visited this place for awhile. Apparently they had done done renovation. Beautiful tiles and nice bar! We were there for lunch and ask the manager if we could stay on our table to play Mahjong for the next two hours. They were very accommodating. We were grateful that they allowed us to play there even though they were busy during their lunch hours. Our waiter a young handsomr young man was very attentive and accommodating to us 'mature' ladies. was wonderful We ordered pizza, steak salad, Beet salad and eggplant parmesan. There were too much dressing on the salad but the waiter was able to make us another salad dressing on the side. Overall food was 4 out of 5 service was 5 out of 5
