Rosycakes

These cookies are SO GOOD. My guilty pleasure is the frosted cancer cookies at Safeway (the impossibly soft cookies with the tooth achingly sweet frosting dyed in shocking colors). While satisfying all my cancer cookie cravings, this cookie is so much better! It tastes like butter, not ahortening. The frosting tastes like butter and cane sugar, not chemicals.

I have worked with Rosie on several weddings and her cakes are beautiful and delicious. I enjoy adding fresh flowers to her beautiful hand crafted creations. ~Sophisticated Floral~

You will not meet a more down to Earth owner than the owners of Rosycakes. Our wedding planner recommended them to us. We schedule a tasting and they were cheerful, professional and accommodating. Their cake samples were delicious and it was hard to choose one for our wedding. Rosycakes also catered our dessert bar, which included a variety of delicious treats. When visiting Rosie at her bakery, she and her family are always very generous about giving us treats to take home. Hands down, they have the best cinnamon rolls ever! On our wedding day, Rosie beautifully decorated and displayed our wedding cake, groom’s cake and dessert bar. All of our guests said this was the best cake and dessert bar they’ve ever had. We would highly recommend Rosycakes for special events, and even for stopping by to grab a sweet snack and a cup of coffee.

Today was my second trip to Rosy Cakes bakery. Is it possible to have a life-changing experience two days in a row? I think I may have found the glitch in the matrix. I walked in this morning to be greeted by a smiling face. The young lady manning the cash register exuding the kind of pleasantries that are the equivalent of a Venti white chocolate mocha in my world. She welcomes me back and asked me what I thought of the cinnamon bun and the frosted cookie I had the day before, if only she knew. Today she described a strawberry thumbprint cookie, which happens to be one of her favorites, and showed me where the cake slices can be found. I mentioned before that I’m very particular about Cake so I have to try it! In fact, I would say that every great bakery can be judged by a single slice of their cake. I often tell my husband that I judge restaurants by how good their dessert is. To me, the end of the meal should have as much care put into it as a beginning. The cake is a raspberry bliss Cake and it’s gorgeous! Alternating layers of white sponge and a raspberry cream filling. artistry in a box. So yes, it is possible to experience great service amazing product and chills two days in a row. Rosy cakes bakery is my new fave!
