Rosy’s was the perfect location for our wedding. They are true professionals and have similar events all the time which meant that our wedding day went perfectly! The Atrium was stunning for the ceremony and photos; we ordered a few more plants which turned it into the perfect botanical/greenhouse space. It was fun to have the balcony above as well– people got to throw flower petals on us as we recessed from the ceremony. Rosy’s coordinator Rami was extremely helpful in accommodating our requests and in making sure everything ran smoothly! She went out of her way to make sure we got the event we wanted. It was super convenient to have catering included, and the food and drinks were delicious. The first thing people would say when we told them were having the event at Rosy’s is how good the food was! We had dueling cocktails, both pretty complicated, and the bartenders mixed them beautifully no problem. We can’t recommend Rosy’s enough!

Happy bride of Rosy's Jazz Hall! This venue was a joy to work with and made our guests, American and international very happy. Family and friends commented that this was the coolest and most elegant wedding they've been to. Absolutely stress free planning thanks to their incredible coordinator Rami. We put everything together in 3 months, hiring only a few vendors. The venue has so many amenities available for you.

Rosy’s was a perfect wedding venue in every way! Steve, Rami, and every staff member are the ultimate professionals and they made sure that everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. New Orleans was a destination for us so we really appreciated Steve and Rami’s willingness to answer (lots of) questions and guide us along the way. The venue itself is gorgeous! It was raining earlier in the day but Rosy’s did an awesome job flipping the space into our dream courtyard wedding at the last minute. Our guests raved about the food and how fun and personable - yet efficient - the bartenders were. If you are considering Rosy’s for your wedding, you should absolutely book it. I'm so appreciative of everything Rosy's Jazz Hall did for my groom and I words can't express how thankful I am. I've heard so many people, including our photographer, say it was the best wedding they had ever experienced. It truly was a dream come true. Steve and Rami made the entire process so easy and they were there for me every step of the way. We felt so taken care of and wouldn't have changed a single thing. Everything about our wedding was incredible and the food was fantastic. If you're looking for a venue for your wedding, I would highly recommend Rosy's Jazz Hall!

Google
We had my daughter's wedding at Rosy's on 5/14/22. It was amazing, from start to finish! Venue was absolutely beautiful!! Food was fabulous and drinks were spot on! Mr. Steve and his staff were absolutely amazing and attentive. All the guest gave so any compliments on how perfect her wedding was. I would recommend Rosy's for anyone's BIG DAY!!!

Google
Rosy's was the PERFECT wedding venue! We used their stage for a live band (one from their recommended list) and we and our guests loved it. Everything went off without a hitch in large part due to Rosy's coordinator Rami, who was extremely proactive and helpful. We had such a wonderful time working with her and Steve, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere were all spot on. We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great New Orleans party space.

There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect Rosy’s was! Both Steve and Rami we amazing and easy to work with! They made the planning process simple! Everything was amazing from the food, to set up, to the space in general! It was exactly what I was looking for in a reception location (very New Orleans feel as well)! Everyone who came to the wedding has talked about how unique and beautiful Rosy’s is! Truly a New Orleans gem! Thank you for a wonderful night we will never forget!

Rosy’s was the absolute PERFECT wedding venue! The wedding planner, Rami, is an absolute dream - she helped us make our day so magical and special! The food is incredible and the ambiance of the ceremony space was something our guests could not stop talking about! Would highly recommend!

Yelp
I'm pretty sure I ate in a restaurant in this location about a million years ago but it's been a reception hall for the last couple of decades. I definitely attended a wedding here earlier this month. And it was really fun. I liked that there were different spaces to move through from the main room/bar to the atrium to the outdoor courtyard (a little chilly in November but lovely). The food was really good (made in house) and the staff was friendly and helpful. The wedding was held in the courtyard and the party was throughout the space. The bride and groom said they were great to work with and everything was smooth sailing. As an attendee, it was a lovely space to enjoy.

Yelp
Last night was hands down one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies and receptions I have ever attended. From the moment we stepped foot in the building you could feel the love and energy everywhere! The staff was beyond amazing and very attentive. My guy at the bar even remembered everyone's drinks :) We cannot thank y'all enough for the southern hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!- The Adams/Brumfield/Brown family.

Yelp
We had the best time at Rosy's Jazz Hall. The venue has such a New Orleans vibe. Love the raise bar area which overlooks the reception area and dance floor. Steve and Rami are the dynamic duo in creating a joy-filled event. They answered all our questions with patience and understanding. Rami, the wedding coordinator did a great job gently coaching my bridal party on when and where to be to keep the event moving. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our time there. I am encouraging my 3 daughters to book their weddings at Rosys.

Yelp
What an amazing experience we had with Rosy's!!! Everything was perfect and so easy! The staff was so kind and fun, joining in the party with us and keeping everything rolling beautifully!! I didn't want to have to stress about anything and they made that possible!!! The beautiful facility just added to the experience!!

Yelp
My husband and I had our wedding at Rosy's Jazz Hall on 12/11/21 and it was unforgettable. Rosy's Jazz Hall is a unique historic venue just outside of the New Orleans French Quarter. The venue gives an option of doing an indoor or outdoor ceremony. The indoor space is unique and romantic offering both seated and standing room for our guest to observe the ceremony from a second level. The food was amazing. Our guests have been telling us they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff at the reception were very kind and extremely helpful to us on that day. Steve one of the co-owners was there helping the staff with serving and bartending. Thank you Steve and the rest of the staff for making our wedding day the best. If we had to do this process over we would definitely choose Rosy's again.

Yelp
We had our wedding there in 2018. Great venue and the owner and Darlene were great and made us feel comfortable even with the wedding planning stress. We followed her recommendations for a second line and post party activities and it was great advice and wouldn't know what we would've done without them. The venue itself was awesome and the food was super great. Of all the venues we looked at, Rosy's had the best menu with local flavor and best price/pp. Everyone who came to our wedding loved it as we did! We really recommend the place!

Yelp
Rosy's was simply the best, most magical experience that we could have hoped for. My (now) wife and I picked Rosy's for our wedding/reception venue after scouting other NOLA locations, and boy did we make the right choice! We had about 110 people at our event, and they all had a blast. Literally, EVERYONE we talked to told us it was the "best wedding they'd ever been to." No exaggeration. In fact, we heard this even from the twenty-somethings in the audience, most of whom have attended at least 7 weddings per year for the past couple of years. So, if they said "best ever" that is a powerful statement. And the reason it was the best is because of Rosy's and specifically because of Steve & Charlene. Working with Steve to pick the date and plan the menu was relaxed, smooth, and enjoyable. Working with Darlene to coordinate the event itself was AMAZING. Darlene is empathetic but practical and wise. She helped us make great decisions and talked us out of some potentially clunky ones. Darlene is the firm-but-loving guiding hand that every important event needs. She loves her job and after you work with her you will love her and feel like she's your friend (which she will be). Plus she's funny (I laughed out loud at least seventeen times). Oh, and the food was exquisite. That's Steve's specialty, and you can tell it's a labor of love for him. People in New Orleans know good food, and all of our guests talked about how wonderful the food was. So that's another reason to have your event at Rosy's. In short, everything was incredible from the moment we met with Steve about possibly having our wedding there until we walked out basking in the glow of an epic gathering that will live on in our memory forever.

Yelp
My wife and I got married at Rosy's last month and we could not recommend the venue enough. Beautiful building, great food/drinks, amazing staff, etc. Steve was fantastic throughout the entire wedding process from start to finish and helped us have the best wedding ever. Could not imagine using any other venue. Would give higher than 5/5 if I could!

Yelp
While we've yet to host our wedding at Rosy's - I just wanted to praise them for how accommodating they've been with Covid-19 postponements. Our wedding was originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend. Rather than giving us grief or asking us to continue to 'wait it out', they worked with us immediately to postpone our date. In a time of uncertainty, it's a blessing to know our venue sees us as more than dollar signs.

Yelp
The food, service, location, and just the venue overall are AMAZING. We had our wedding reception at Rosy's. It is very affordable and the alcoholic drinks are amazing. Everyone still comments about the food and drinks (2 months later). We are so thankful for the work that Steve, Darlene, and the entire staff put into making our night special and perfect. Could not have asked for a better venue! P.S. Get a band if you can- the stage is PERFECT for a live band (entertaining and just a unique sound and feel).

Yelp
My husband and I had our wedding here November of 2021 and it was perfect. Everything was easy and stress free. Steve and his team are wonderful and have throwing a wedding down to a science. It is a beautiful venue and all of our guest had a ton of fun. I highly recommend this venue.

Yelp
Everything about Rosy's is incredible! First of all, Steve was great to work with. Always replied promptly to emails, offered great suggestions, and really made the wedding planning process easy. We had to reschedule due to Covid, and we really appreciated the flexibility from Rosy's. The staff was amazing, so attentive. Our guests loved the food and the bar. The best part was after the ceremony, they set us upstairs so we could sit down and enjoy all of the food before entering for the reception. I highly recommend Rosy's, what an incredible, unique, perfect night!

Yelp
I love this space. It's intimate, has character and a lovely middle courtyard/atrium with two ficus tree growing out of it to give it that one with nature sort of feel. The first time I went here was for my cousin's wedding. They were married out in the courtyard and rose petals were dropped from the balcony overlooking the wedding once they were declared husband and wife. It was absolutely beautiful. Once they moved the party into the room with the stage and elevated bar, I knew I was in love. It has a very 1920s Prohibition feel to me, though the original Rosy's Jazz Hall was opened in the lat 1970s. They have old black and white pictures along the walls that I never seem to have time to peruse but I'm sure they're of the old acts that used to play the Hall including Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. This second time was for the St. James Cheese Company Cocktails & Curds. The event had a great flow through the main room and the courtyard. The atmosphere was great for this event. I enjoyed hanging out at the elevated bar to watch the scene. This is really a cool, historic place to host a smaller event if you're not looking for really big numbers. The flow of the place is great and there is tons of space to cut a rug or put a big ol' band. My only qualms is parking is a little hit or miss in the area but, by no means, the fault of Rosy's.

Yelp
I cannot say enough positive things about Rosy's Jazz Hall as a wedding venue. The space is small enough to feel intimate and big enough to accommodate some very boisterous dancers in our wedding party. Darlene was so helpful and got 100% on board when we told her we didn't want a lot of the traditional wedding fanfare. I was a little nervous telling a wedding coordinator we didn't want the normal events like being given away/unity candles/bouquet toss/money dance/father daughter dance/etc...and that we were taking an uber to leave....but she was all for it. She encouraged us to be true to who we were and not include things that we didn't truly value or feel comfortable doing. There was never any pressure. There was never any stress. My wedding was exactly what I wanted it to be...a candid, sweet, fun gathering of the people I care most about. Ah, and God bless her for trying to bustle my dress. She followed me around with safety pins all night and was very supportive when I finally said "Darlene, it's time for pants." My guests said the food was awesome and that the space was one of the most beautiful they had seen. ***Side note-I did not know one of my guests was bringing a confetti cannon (a BIG ONE) and was taken by complete surprise when huge chunks of confetti rained down ALL OVER ROSY'S. I am pretty sure this was not pre-approved...but the staff never complained. When I say there was confetti everywhere, I am not exaggerating. They are probably still finding pieces of it in corners. Thank you to everyone there for cleaning up after us and not causing a stink about it.

Yelp
I was here for a friend's wedding and the venue is really cute! The surrounding neighborhood is not the nicest, but the building is a burgundy brick. You step inside, walk down a short hall, and boom! The space opens up into a high ceiling with two very tall trees. To the right, the high-ceilinged room with a bar and an opening into a garden area outside. To the left, a lower-ceilinged room that provides an intimate space with a stage for a band to perform before an audience with enough space for a dance floor. It was a cozy venue, didn't feel too big, but didn't feel too crowded either. The table set-up was many small tables that seated ~5 so no need for fancy centerpieces. Food for the occasion was heavy hors d'oeuvres with Nawlins' flavor. Waitstaff was professional and friendly. One young one liked to sing and dance when he passed by me. The only downside as far as I could tell was there didn't seem to be a parking lot and the security directed us to park on Tchoupitoulas, a busy street, parallel parking only.

Yelp
I had an amazing time here for a wedding this past month and really enjoyed it! The venue itself is so different from anything we have here in NY, and it was great to see. The food was all excellent, and there was no shortage of it! I am still dreaming of the delicious pasta we had. The only thing I wish I could have changed was the weather! I would have loved to go outside on the patio!

Yelp
You know this place is pretty happening when there are 7 reviews that are "not recommended" and they rant and rave about how awesome it is. The one thing I can say is that although I have never been to the wedding hall, when still in college this was my favorite establishment. I pity those that have to book a wedding to enjoy the inside that I used to go through like a revolving door. It closed for a while and was up for sale. OMG! It would have been the coolest place in New Orleans to live. I was going to bid on it and another property became available for a price that I could not pass up. I always wonder "what if...."

Yelp
We had our ceremony and reception at Rosy's and could not be happier with our choice!! It was easy to book, easy to communicate, easy to plan with Darlene's expertise, and did I mention easy?!! The fact that everything is included - tables, linens, napkins, bartenders, servers and the all around romantic feel from the atrium, courtyard and everywhere in between - made the night absolutely perfect. I seriously did not have to worry about anything - it all seemed to just go exactly the way it was supposed to...however I know it was the fact that Darlene and her crew know what they are doing! All of our guests could not stop giving us compliments on the awesome service, how great the food was and one of best weddings they have ever been to. I am so thankful we made this our place! A place to mark one of the most important events in our lives, and a night we and our friends & family will NEVER forget! You truly cannot go wrong in any way with having your wedding or reception at Rosy's Jazz Hall.

Yelp
I've been to 2 weddings here in the last 2 years and it's a lovely, intimate event space. In my mind, I still see it as the dance club my friends and I used to frequent in the early to mid 90s. I recall many nights of dancing up on the small stage and hanging out back in the atrium courtyard. Apparently it's had quite a history and been re-purposed a couple different times as different things over the years. I kind of like that. I'm not sure what they recommend as their capacity level, but it is in the small side for an event venue and as a meeting planner, I would consider it for events where my expected attendance was approx 150-170. The food is very good and the server seemed attentive. With only one main bar -and what looks like the potential for one pop-up satellite bar in the atrium (but not used at the events I was at), the wait for a drink does get a bit congested because of the limited pathway when tables are also on the floor. When a Dj is used instead of a band or musicians, I found there to be some wasted space on the stage area. I'd prefer to see seating up there for the bridal party to clear some of the seating choke-point surrounding the dance floor. But that could have been at the request of the wedding couples. I would just ask a lot of questions about maximizing space with your event coordinator. Overall- beautiful venue with a lot of charm and good service for an intimate event.

Yelp
Darlene and Steve, I can't even start to express my gratitude towards you both for creating the absolute perfect wedding for us. It honestly exceeded our expectations; not only is the venue honestly the most beautiful venue I've EVER seen, but the entire operation was a well oiled machine. Darlene, there's no one I would trust to pull off such a production more than you, and we feel so lucky we had the opportunity to have you with us throughout the process, by our sides. You made us feel special and attended to throughout everything. All of our guests were raving about the uniqueness of the hall, and the delicious food. The bartenders were efficient and awesome, I could tell they were having fun with us, and that meant a lot. You made this whole wedding business an absolute breeze. Thanks you, Amy & Brian

Yelp
If you are looking for a unique venue in an easy to get to location with great food and service, do yourself a favor and visit Rosy's Jazz Hall. I just threw a surprise 50th birthday party there and it could not have been more perfect! Steve and Darlene know what they are doing and made sure everything was just right! Our guests were blown away at how lovely the venue was, it really has a perfect set up. We had a fun, wonderful band in The Refugeze. The party was a blast and I was truly able to enjoy myself as the hostess because the experienced staff took care of everything!! We will definitely book Rosy's in the future! Melanie A.

Yelp
I highly recommend Rosy's if you're looking for a place to get hitched in New Orleans. I had the opportunity to attend a wedding at Rosy's this past weekend and had a fantastic time. The building is classic New Orleans and is located away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter (in the quiet and gorgeous Garden District.) The wedding space is lovely with huge floor to ceiling windows; perfect for either a day or evening wedding. The main area can probably comfortably seat 40 people with room for another 20 or so behind. There's a balcony area which can fit another 40-50 easily. There's exposed brick throughout with great weathering on the walls. The main room is a great space with room for plenty tables, a dance floor, and has a wonderful stage. Facing the stage is an elevated bar area where the good times flow! Everyone here was so nice, from the bartenders to who seemed like a manager (she filled me in on some of the history of the venue, etc. - if only I had time for all the stories!) The food was also very good with a good variety for all types. I just wish I knew more people getting married in New Orleans now...hey, if you do...invite me! I travel well...

Yelp
Very recently I attended a small wedding here. The venue is intimate and lovely. The ceremony was held in a small area near the stairs/a bar and the reception in the larger room next to it. The reception area had a large, full bar with friendly bartenders, a raised stage used by a dj, several tables, and one side the walls were lined with a simple and delicious buffet. Along with the buffet staff would occasionally wander among the guests with trays of small bites, like feta & onion tarts or fried oysters. Overall it's a great venue for a small wedding.

Yelp
Wonderful place for a wedding! The wedding area was great, with a natural feel to it--there are trees growing from the floor, which may actually block the view for some people on the groom's side, but the beauty of the interior trumps any downside of that. The exposed brick is very cool, and the pictures and portraits from the wedding turned out great with some of the backgrounds in the building. The reception was in the same building, with a great hall for probably about 100 people comfortably, with a stage, nice dance space, and a very nice elevated bar in the back. Great place for a destination wedding!
google avatar

Michele A.

Yelp
We were here for a wedding and the venue couldn't have been better. The interior is full of charm and atmosphere. The wedding area is gorgeous and the reception area is adorable w/ a stage and nice old timey bar. The drinks and the catering were awesome. The parking situation is kind of terrible, there is no parking lot and you just have to find a place along the street. But most people like to have some drinks at weddings, so you would/should be cabbing it anyway. As a guest here, the night was gorgeous. This was a great place to be.

Yelp
We loved everything about our wedding at Rosy's! It was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The food was amazing and the drinks were strong. Steve and Darlene made the entire process so easy, and guided us every step of the way. The all-inclusive aspects made it a no-brainer for our semi destination wedding. We visited the venue once before booking, and then did almost all other planning via email/phone. Darlene was a true pro, and provided feedback about vendors when we needed it. They were very budget conscious, and provided great ideas on where we could save (recommended DJs, indoor second line, etc.). On our wedding day Darlene kept us on track so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would recommend using vendors who are more familiar with the layout at Rosy's in order to truly showcase the unique qualities. I only wish the weather had been better so we could've used the outdoor courtyard too. Luckily the indoor size was great, and allowed for guests to move between rooms as they needed (quieter seating in the atrium vs party in the main bar room). The atrium allowed for an intimate ceremony feel, with different vantage points for our guests. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I just got married at Rosy's in March. Our decision to go with Rosy's was not that difficult (and my wife doesn't make decisions easily). From the food to the atmosphere to the bar and stage, we liked everything about Rosy's more than every other venue we visited....It was also the most cost-effective with the most reasonable and helpful people you could possibly work with. They made the whole process as easy and low stress as possible. And when it came to the actual day, everything went perfectly, down to the last detail, and our guests had such a blast that they had to be kicked off the dance floor. Then F&Ms, just a couple blocks away, welcomed us with open arms. Thank you Steve and Darlene for everything you did to make our wedding exceptional.

Yelp
Since its been a few years (2 to be exact) I feel like I can express my feelings on Rosy's Jazz hall. Much of the recent reviews are from people who were guests at Rosy's so I feel like I can offer a different perspective. I chose Rosy's Jazz hall for my wedding reception. When I first visited the venue I fell in love with the space. Steve showed us around and his passion about his venue and the food really sold us on the space. We wanted a place that was cozy and served awesome food and drinks because lets face it, the pillars of a great wedding really comes down to food, booze and music. Leading up to the big day I felt very comfortable with Rosy's and had no concern that everything would be great. One of my highlights is having a private meal with my husband upstairs separate from the rest of the party. It was a nice intimate moment that we could share before the roller coaster of the reception began. The food was delicious and it was nice to be able to enjoy all of the food at your own wedding. We had a toast with Darlene who is the wedding coordinator to kick off the evening and things were off to a great start. We had a great second line band to kick off the night. After the brass band segment the energy was high and we were ready to get down. Darlene walked up to me and told me "grandma wants to give a speech" I couldn't react quickly enough to say...Thats not my grandma! My husband and I both have grandmothers in their 90s and not the type to break out in a speech. But too late! a hot mic was in hand and speech was rolling out by my step aunt. Perhaps I should have been pulled aside and asked if a speech was appropriate rather than telling me. but I'm sure intentions were in the right place on both sides. I thought as the bride I would have been more taken care of. I had one glass of champagne after my first dance and that was it. After an hour and a half of talking with my guests and dancing I was absolutely parched. I scanned the room looking for an employee, but to no avail I sent my husband to get me a bottle of water from the bar. I felt it was odd that the groom had to wait in line at the bar at his own wedding to get his bride a water. This happened a few more times that night since I was never asked once if I needed anything. Maybe I should have stressed this earlier on in the planning phase. I also thought the lights were too bright on the dance floor, but also could never seem to track down Darlene or anyone else that worked there to request really anything at all. Aside from that, we had a great time. Our guests also had a good time. We've had several people tell us that it was one of the coolest places for a wedding and one of the most fun weddings they've ever attended. Happy guests was definitely important to us so I am happy everyone had a great time.

Kimberly U.

Yelp
Rosy's was a great choice for our wedding reception venue. Darlene and Steve were very accommodating to all of our requests and prompt in communication. I was in contact with Darlene (somewhat incessantly) to seek her advice/feedback. She was extremely helpful and to-the-point, which is something I really appreciated. Steve did not disappoint with the catering! Everyone left the reception, happy and full. We would definitely recommend Rosy's to anyone looking to throw a party with above-grade food, drinks and atmosphere.

Yelp
The venue was beautiful, Steve and Darlene did a great job, and our guests loved the wedding. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here!

Yelp
So first of all - kidnap Darlene. There will be other couples out there that need her services but don't fall for the trap. This girl is so good you'll want to keep her for your newborn's 1st birthday, the subsequent high school graduation, and your 25th anniversary party. Steve and the rest of the staff were absolutely flawless. They said what they did and did what they said. Every "I" dotted, every "t" crossed. And the guests are still talking about the food, the venue and the band. What a night! Many thanks to this quality organization. You won't find any better. Tony

Lea L.

Yelp
We had an absolutely amazing time and are still dreaming about the whole day and night! I planned our wedding from another state so Darlene was great about vendor recommendations and suggestions and everything in between! Everything went off without a hitch from my point of view and I know Darlene and our day of coordinator played a big part in that. I would definitely recommend Rosy's for their great service and value!

Yelp
OMG! Steve and Darlene are simply amazing! We live in SC, and my daughter wanted a wedding in New Orleans. Rosy's was our first choice for the wedding, but it was already booked. We ended up booking them for our Rehearsal/Welcome dinner for 100 people. Everyone felt they attended the reception first - it was that good! The food display was simply amazing, the tables were beautiful, and the food itself was absolutely delicious. We had a DJ, and it was so much fun. Steve and Darlene went out of their way to make sure everything was just like we wanted. We felt like close friends by the end of the night. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough. I was so nervous until I walked in the door, and realized what we were dealing with. Absolute perfection!

Yelp
The atmosphere of Rosy's is vintage New Orleans, classy and cozy. The rooms are sectioned off to give more of a homey feel than one big room. The bartenders were extremely nice and accommodating. It has an upstairs that overlooks the party and street as well. It is nice to be able to have a little quiet time before you become the host/hostess with the mostest. The food was really good and I loved the presentation of the grilled vegetables. I missed the crayfish beignets but they were the talk of the party. So were the crabcakes and tuna. The wedding I attended had approx 225 guests and it was a perfect fit. The wedding attendant, maybe co-owner, was drunk. We all were so no one noticed by the bride and groom. For example, she brought up three champagne glasses for the bride and grooms private meal upstairs. She was 'extra friendly' to the guests, mainly the male guests and her breath smelled of alcohol. She by no means ruined the event, it was just odd behavior. I would still recommend Rosy's. Especially if you dont care for one big room.

We loved our wedding at Rosy's Jazz Hall! The staff was incredibly helpful and organized and the food was great. It has a lot of charm and our pictures came out great!

Yelp
I've been wanting to post the review that I was looking for when I was trying to decide whether to book Rosy's sight unseen for our wedding and reception. If you are thinking about having your event at Rosy's, you really cannot go wrong. We were married here in November of 2010 and everything about the entire experience was perfect. Considering that we live in Seattle and didn't have much time to travel to New Orleans to do a lot of wedding planning, I leaned heavily on Darlene (Rosy's wedding coordinator) for vendor recommendations. Every single vendor (from the florist to the bakery to the officiant to the band) was exactly what we were looking for and in the price range we were comfortable. When we did go and visit Rosy's, after having already sent in the deposit, Steve made us feel so at home I left even more excited about the event than I had been before! The wedding day itself went off without a hitch (unless you consider us getting hitched!). I didn't have to worry about a thing. All of our guests commented on the food and how nice Rosy's staff was. It was perfect. If we have a ten year anniversary party, I'm going back to Rosy's!

Yelp
As a wedding officiant I do a lot of weddings in New Orleans so I have the opportunity do visit a lot of places. I have done weddings at Rosy's, attended weddings, and attended music events since they opened. The building is classic New Orleans. The staff the friendliest around and the food is done well. I never miss a chance to go if invited or asked to perform a wedding there.

Yelp
The food can be touch and go and the place is a bit to small, but the atmosphere is great. The"courtyard brought inside" is fun, but traffic movement around the place can get tough.

Yelp
We fell in love with Rosy's the moment we walked in. I don't know how we hadn't been to Rosy's before because they have one incredible thing going on there! But I have a feeling from the rave reviews we received from our wedding night that we inspired some family/friends and we cannot wait to return! I could not have imagined having our reception any where else, Rosy's fit us perfectly. Steve and Darlene made things go so smoothly that night. We felt so comfortable and relaxed knowing they had things under control we were able to enjoy ourselves on the dance floor the entire night like we wanted. Darlene constantly supplied us with food and drinks all night long, keeping us on schedule and packing us up with leftover food. It was so nice to get back to the hotel and finally be able to scarf down some food without being interrupted. As my husband was eating leftovers he said, 'That place should be called Darlene's Jazz Hall'. HA! A true testament to how AWESOME Darlene is at what she does! I kept telling my husband for day's afterwards that I wanted to get married again, and his response was, you just want to go back to Rosy's! I have read review after review with nothing but praise for Rosy's and I am glad to say I can join in that number. Steve and Darlene, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep doing what you are doing, we love Rosy's!!!!

Yelp
Rosy's is the absolute best. I did not have the money or the time to shop around at a million different venues, taste food at a bunch of different places, hire a wedding coordinator or spend thousands of dollars to decorate. I just couldn't. Thank goodness for Darlene and Steve and Rosy's. First, the space is GORGEOUS! Exposed brick, beautiful photos, incredible atrium, quaint courtyard. I could go on. We were married in the courtyard and had almost 200 people attend the ceremony. We also had a three-piece band outside. It was perfectly crowded - intimate is the best word to describe it. People were able to see and hear, but everyone had enough space. We had three attendants on each side and it was perfect! The reception - first, we were taking a risk. We weren't able to taste the food beforehand and had to rely on word of mouth...everything we heard about the food was great and I figured, as long as it fills bellies, it's fine. The food was incredible. There was something delicious for everyone - we had vegetarians, vegans, even some people who suffer from Celiac and cannot have gluten. Steve was so accommodating and gave me all the information I needed to ensure my friends with specific dietary restrictions could eat and eat well! We opted for the open premium bar. After comparing prices everywhere, including bringing in our own bar and caterers at some places, Rosy's outweighed everywhere. They staff the bars and the kitchen, everything. The servers were friendly, attentive and efficient. Darlene made EVERYTHING so easy. She was always patient with me whenever I had questions or concerns, and made everything go off without a hitch. I never had to stress about working with different vendors - flowers, bakery, photo booth, etc - because she handled all of it. She made sure she had all the information beforehand so she would have to interrupt me and the groom as little as possible. We had a family emergency in the days leading up to the event and Darlene took over a half-hour to talk me off the ledge and calm my nerves, in order to assure me that everything would be okay on the big day. She is sososossooooo wonderful at her job, so sweet, and really more than we could have asked for. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place was for our wedding. We are saving up to have a party next year, on our anniversary! Haha but really, that's how much we loved it. They accommodated so many of our requests and were so stinking professional, while being fun at the same time. Book your wedding here!

Yelp
We had our wedding at Rosy's in mid-October 2011, and everything was just amazing. Darlene and Steve were wonderful and made sure every need was met; the food was outstanding; all of the staff were so friendly...I could go on and on. So many of our guests told us what a great time they had, and what a cool venue Rosy's is. We couldn't agree more...it was a perfect location for us, with the New Orleans vibe without any of the stuffiness. We heart Rosy's! .

Yelp
Rosy's Jazz Hall was the perfect choice for Ronnie and I when planning our Oct 12 wedding! The staff at Rosy's is absolutely amazing! From the planning to the actual day I was never once concerned...I knew Steve, Darlene, and the rest of the staff had it covered. The food was so delicious and the staff prepared us hefty "go box" to help soak up the cocktails once we made it home! Rosy's is a true New Orleans style venue and has the greatest vibe! From beginning to end everyone took such great care of us and made sure we had the perfect day!

Yelp
Ugh! Where do i begin? I met with Steve and Darlene about a year and a half ago, and fell in love with the venue. I picked October 7 for my wedding day. And what do you know, but days before I get married, hurricane nate is headed towards new orleans! Initially I was going to keep my start time the same, but Steve and Darlene recommended I push up the time by a couple of hours. So, I start calling all of my guests the day before to inform them. Not a big deal. A few hours later, I hear that the mayor issued a curfew for the impending hurricane which directly conflicted with my NEW start time. So I get a call from Steve saying that I can either push up the start time AGAIN, reschedule for the next day, reschedule for another date altogether or cancel the wedding. I was so upset at that point, I didn't know what to do. So I made the choice to push up the time AGAIN. Here we go... got to call all the guests again to inform them of the new start time. Some of the guests cancelled, or left early, which was no fault of rosy's. Darlene started getting on the phones to inform all the vendors of the new start time. After all of the drama with the hurricane, we still had a lot of guests show up and they all said they had the best time. Darlene made sure that I always had a drink in my hand. It may sound cheesy, but Darlene and Steve went the extra mile to be flexible, and that meant the world to me! I had so much fun and I would recommend them to anyone!

Yelp
My wife and I had our wedding here on 5/29/15. This place was spectacular. We saw 3 other places including Rosy's before making a decision. We chose this because we loved the 1930s-1940s jazz club feel. The exposed brick throughout the whole building, the atrium with a live tree, and all the great pictures/decorations throughout the building also helped us make that decision. We didn't need to do any of our own decorating or hire someone to do that. It was also the most for our money and great value. The food was incredible, and the bar did great job at pouring drinks all night. Darlene, the wedding coordinator, did an excellent job making sure everything went smoothly. I can honestly say that nothing went wrong and this was due to Darlene's efforts. She is straightforward and blunt and she did a awesome job in accommodating everything we wanted. While coordinating, she did join us in the party and shared our night with us, and by that I mean she had a couple of drinks with us. We didn't mind one bit but if you want want someone who is very proper, anxiety driven, and stiff, then I would suggest going somewhere else because Darlene is a little unconventional, and is laid back but very much in control, and knows exactly what she needs to do. She collaborated well with the florist, the person who did our cake, the band, and our Limo company. She gave us a sheet for us to fill out a couple of days before the wedding including info on band, cake, limo, wedding party names, etc. FILL THIS OUT and SEND IT TO DARLENE! This makes everyone's life so much easier including Darlene's so that she can do her absolute best to get everything perfect for you! FYI, after our ceremony, she had food and drinks ready for us in the bridal suite and we were along for a few minutes before the reception started. Steve, who is the chef and one of the owners of the club is also a straight shooter, and created a great menu for our night. We didn't hear any complaints from our guests but rather raves about how good everything was. The staff that served appetizers and oversaw our buffet, were very friendly and were interacting with our guests. There were pretty funny from what I hear. We had our wedding ceremony outside. It went exactly as planned. There is limited seating outside and some of our guests had to stand or sit around the edge of the backyard on cement seating. Due to the New Orleans weather, it was a bit hot and humid. Our ceremony was very short, about 10-15 minutes, so our guests didn't have to sit or stand for very long in the hot and humidity outside. If you want a longer ceremony or are very afraid of weather, doing an inside wedding might be best for you. Like I have been saying, our wedding was absolutely perfect! Thank you Darlene, Steve, Staff and Rosy!!

Yelp
Rosy's is perfect! The atmosphere, the staff, the food-perfection. Every single guest at our wedding had the best time and it was all because of excellent service we received. Darlene and Steve were amazing through all the planning. I worried about nothing on my wedding day. Every part of the day was organized and executed seamlessly. If you're looking for ease, fun and perfection, you're looking for Rosy's!

Yelp
The staff and wedding coordinator at Rosy's was so easy and flexible to work with. They have set menu options but were willing to adjust it just perfectly for us. They are personable people you will enjoy having around on your wedding day and throughout the process. They also make sure you have thought of everything. You can absolutely plan a wedding here without the expense of a wedding planner and it be stress-free. The food is delicious and the venue is just beautiful. We have our ceremony outside in the courtyard and the reception inside. Everything ran so smoothly.

Yelp
Steve, Darlene and the staff of Rosy's made our reception a party to remember. I had been to a wedding there many years ago and fell in love with the space. If you are looking for a space that is quintessential New Orleans, this is it! The house is gorgeous with exposed brick, an interior courtyard & a real attitude of NOLA funkiness. The food, the food!!! IS AMAZING!! About half of our guests were locals and they raved about the food. That is saying a lot because people from New Orleans know about food. We were a no fuss couple and really didn't want to do any of the typical wedding traditions. We just wanted to party. So planning was pretty straight forward. Even so, Darlene and Steve were very responsive to all of our questions, which made planning via email very easy. They were very warm and inviting when we met them in person. And patiently answered all of my Dad's questions. They are real pros who know how to throw a successful party. I felt like our suggestions were heard and their advice was extremely helpful.

Yelp
Our wedding at Rosy's Jazz Hall was AMAZING--I can't recommend this place enough. The venue feels cozy, intimate, and casual--a really lovely space. Darlene and Steve are awesome--the food was delicious and Darlene kept everything rolling perfectly throughout the night. Darlene was very helpful in the planning process; she responded promptly to all our emails and sent over lists of vendor suggestions whenever we asked. When wedding day came around, Darlene had everything figured out before we had to ask, so things went much more smoothly than I ever expected. She is a true professional and knows weddings inside and out, which made it easy to work with her and explain what we wanted. We were thrilled with the lively party with great music and tasty food, and our guests kept telling us how much fun they were having. Super happy with Darlene and Steve and Rosy's as a venue--would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun place for a wedding!

Yelp
Darlene (wedding coordinator) and Steve (owner) are masters at their craft. My husband and I got married there on 8/1/15 and all of our guests raved about the venue, food (said it was the best wedding food they have EVER had) and drinks. It has a cute courtyard area for some outdoor space, flexible and affordable menu options, and the staff was simply 5 star. Darlene has done hundreds of weddings which really put us at ease. She knows her stuff and she knows what it takes to put on a successful, seamless event. She was quick to respond to all communication, was extremely professional and truly made us feel like she cared about us and the success of our event. We definitely didn't feel like we were just another couple on the schedule getting married and a very personalized experience. Get married at Rosy's Jazz Hall for that authentic, New Orleans wedding that your guests will talk about for time to come. We are so happy we did!
