Roti Masters

After visiting a second time, I have to change my review to a 5. This Trini food is excellent. A true taste of home, made with love. The curry chicken roti filling is perfect and the roti skin is epic. I really appreciate the friendly and caring service. I have to take 2 buses to get here and it takes a long time, but I will be back! I did not enjoy the food here, the doubles were below average. The chicken roti, the filling was okay but the roti was flakey and falling apart. My friends got the mac and cheese with curry mutton and it was not even made with macaroni pasta, it was pre made and had to be heated up in a microwave. The other friend received pepper steak with rice and peas which was also below average. All the items ordered, were heated up. Nothing was made fresh from scratch. 3 days following I have mild food poisoning from this place.

This is the best Caribbean takeaway in Surrey. I have tried lots all over the country and it’s up there. . The food is tasty and the portions are big. The service is so relaxed and friendly. Try the tasty Jerk chicken or the succulent Curry Goat . For the starters you have to try the doubles. 👍🏾 I have been back a few times already.

4 January 2025 - I visited Roti Masters for lunch based on a TikTok recommendation and opted for the chicken and potato wrap. While the wrap was delicious, I thought it was overpriced at £9. My advice to Trevor, the warm and welcoming proprietor, is a price reduction may encourage more custom.

YES YES YES. Amazing owners and staff, always making me feel welcome. My favourite eatery in all of Sutton. Prices are fair, portion sizes are amazing and the flavours are delicious. There are vegetarian and vegan options. The plantain and patties are tasty and you must try a tradition Trini double which is two fried bread with curried chickpeas in the middle. YUM.

Roti masters is the best authentic Carribbean food place in the area. I knew them from their previous store in Croydon and now relocated here in Sutton. The restaurant is lovely decor and has about seating for 10 or so people but people mainly are ordering to take away. The menu has a your basics covered and spicy enough for anyone brave enough. I ordered the chicken curry in a dhal Puri and it was really great and at 7poinds great value too. If you are from the Carribbean or want to taste the real deal come over and enjoy a wonderful meal.

I ordered oxtail, rice n peas n coleslaw. I didn't even get the coleslaw. The food ws hot which is gd n the portion ws amazing, the oxtail literally had no flavour, the rice n peas wasn't even dat gd. But yk when u have to eat something bcs ur hungry.. dats wht I had to do n I only picked dis place cus it ws the last option dat I had even tho I didn't want to n I alrdy knew I ws gonna be dissapointed from wht I've seen n they proved me right. Never ordering here again even if it's my last option. The fact the portion ws gd with bad food ws even more sadder. U guys need to invest in sum seasoning or a cooking lesson. Waste of money honestly, gd thing I wasn't the one paying but I'm mad someone else had to waste their money on something like this. A refund is needed. I've seen other bad reviews saying it ws tasteless n they r exactly right n the fact dat dis issue hasn't change since the last 2 yrs is crazy.
