Roti Mediterranean Bowls. Salads. Pitas.

I order from Roti all the time, never disappoints. Today must’ve been an off day for them and while I’d like to give them grace the way the customer service was makes it hard to see the positive. I did an online pick up I didn’t receive any of my sauces, okay fine you could even say that’s my fault for not looking, but nevertheless I took the L. As I’m eating my dry bowl I’m noticing half of the “spring mix” lettuce they gave me was majority iceberg lettuce..not even lettuce literally stems. I was at work and unable to return so I called explained and was put on hold for 15 mins. I hung up called back and got the manager this time, she was very rude cut me off she asked me for something but I couldn’t hear her I asked her to repeat herself. She proceeded to say “order number, ticket number” very condescending. I tell her calm down give her the order number and she goes silent for 45 seconds…I’m like hello she then tells me I’m getting a full refund. If the refund ever comes great, but the customer service was horrible, no apology nothing.

Edit: You should be ashamed of yourselves for the new pita bread size! I had to come back to the location two different times for them to get my order right, by the 3rd screw up, i'm over it. That's enough times for me, i'll never return again! First they gave me nothing but kale when i asked for mixed greens. After coming back home, you can imagine i was disappointed because i HATE kale. Went and got it fixed to then notice they forgot my pita bread. Once returning home noticed they forgot my sauces. The best part? Their team saw my bad review and said they'd give me a credit for the meal and never did. I used to love this place. I ignored when they cut the portion sizes by 1/3, but this is just madness.

The food is great. It was one my favorite places but recently I see portion size reduced and the price went up. I think the portion size is small only in this location as I haven't experienced the same in other locations. You would barely find proteins even though I asked for extra protein in my order. 😀

It was so good. Needed a quick, healthy bite and this place landed. Delicious, quick, and lots of food.

My mom and I had an amazing experience at Roti this past Tuesday! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. A huge shoutout to Yolanda and Medhi, who went above and beyond to provide top-tier customer service. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly made our visit special. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious! The combination of a great atmosphere, excellent service, and flavorful dishes made this a spot we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

The food was good however I wish that the vegetables would of been evenly distributed in the pita. It would of made my enjoying the food a million times better. I also wish that they would of made recommendations as far as what choices go well with the dish I choose since it was my first time coming also my last time coming by the way. The guy who helped with the second part of our order was a young fellow and extremely unpleasant, and not helpful. I asked what sauces he had and acted as if I should know, when asked about the kids meals he responded with a bad attitude 😒. When asked what sauces he were not spicy for the children look he was just a like a hole. Then I choose 2 different ones he basically rushed and gave me 2 of the mango and I told him I just wanted 1 and didn't give me the other one so I said okay fine. At this point I could just walked away with 5 orders of food almost complete but we were hungry and I would off. The chubby man with the funny hair cut was rude. The food was alright I jist wish it would of been evenly distributed. All together my kids loved there bowls with rice I tried them and it really was delicious. I think good customer service can make or break a business. For those reasons i will never return to this location. I'd rather walk down the street. I gave them 2 stars because the girl who helped me with the first portion of the order was very nice and helpful I wish she would of continued but the one guy jumped right in. Anyway the restaurant wasn't the cleanest the tables we had were dirty and so where the next few next to us.

I guess you only get half a pita now with a bowl even though prices have gone up 🙄 (I ate the bite off)

Been coming here for years, Suddenly was refused regular extra toppings for a mezze protein bowl. In the app every extra topping is available for free. Food is good, but service dropped off.

Erica was kind and helpful with my first time here! Had the chicken and it was phenomenal! Definitely coming back.

Staff is great but the food..oh, the food. It needs help. To give me a decent idea of the menu, I ordered the Roti Explorer Bowl, which contains 2 different chicken, steak, and falafel..just to name the proteins. This was not nearly as good as I thought it would be. The steak was over cooked and chewy, and the chicken was burned/super charred. While the rice smells delicious and fragrant, it lacks salt. Highlight: The toppings (cucumbers, hummus, curried carrots, purple cabbage, and red s'hug sauce) were yummy. I'm eating at 7:41pm, so maybe my meal would have been better earlier in the day/when the food was fresher. However, this was my experience.

This is probably the worst place I ate at in the world. I got served cold meat in my pita sandwich and some weird cold sauce on it and they claim it's a recipe competition winner? Just unbelievable! Couldn't eat, so never returning.

Rude rude rude staff. Man taking my order was amazing. His attitude made me think he was going to shoot the place up. When I asked for veggie options he just pointed and looked at me then said it's here. At check out I asked for a receipt. Thought I ran over the ladies puppy the looks I got. Food was not even average. Not worth $15 for a single bowl

Food was ok, place seemed kinda dirty honestly. Girl at the register was fine I guess but she also seemed like she hated her life and her job.

I got the make my own bowl with falafel and since this was my first time ordering here I wanted to try as many of the toppings as possible. I got the fresh beets, curried carrot salad, dill cucumber and black lentils as well as crispy chickpeas, pita crunchies, and roasted golden tomatoes. I would definitely get extra crispy chickpeas next time and maybe skip the roasted tomatoes. I also add pickled onions and feta and olives for extra tanginess. The bowl was overall very flavorful and didn't even need the extra sauces but it lets you pick 3 sauces on Uber eats so I picked the Amba (yummy savory mango sauce), roasted read pepper (also delicious!!) and dill yogurt as I thought I could dip the falafel in the sauces. But unfortunately when my order arrived from Uber eats there was no falafel in my falafel bowl! Lol. Still delicious just disappointing that I didn't get to taste the falafels! It did come with a pita on the side so I was able to dip the pita in the various sauces to try those. Overall would give 3 stars since no falafel but I'm sure just was forgotten and 5 stars for taste and freshness so averaged to 4! I would love to try the falafel though next time I ordered the falafel bowl.

Do not eat at this location! I love Roti, but I have been to this location 3 times (2 times dine, 1 time delivery). The meat is extremely old/dry and funky. I have also found hard rock like little things I. My food. Food at Lincoln park and the one by Amtrak (downtown-currently closed) are good. The chicken here hard, dry and a bit funky on 3 different occasions over the last 1-2 years Please avoid this location

The food at this Roti is exactly what you expect and that's what you want from a chain. A hit every time. If you enjoy one Roti location - the same goes for WLOOP location. THE REAL STARS OF THIS ROTI ARE THE WORKERS. Smile and greet you every time you walk in the building. Often times at this west loop location the line is out the door. Nevertheless, the the staff is patient and polite when you get to the counter. If you're feeling silly- Eric and Terrance will crack jokes with ya and STACK your plate. Love a heavy hand. I come to this roti every Wednesday to pick up orders for many of my coworkers. One coworker is as bland as it gets and orders a rice bowl with chicken Roti with a pita and that's it. The lady who prepared the bowl for pick up let me know she added double chicken for free bc it was so plain. The realest!

I love eating here. Everything always tastes fresh and the price is good. Service was really good and the managers checked on us a couple times. I guess the menu had changed so they were getting feedback. It was a great experience.

The service here is great! It is friendly, patient, and quick. I've waiting in line no more than 4 minutes when I come to this location. Your food is made right in front of you and there are plenty of protein options to chose from, vegan included. The food here is always fresh and the options are plenty. Unfortunately thee seating is limited, but since it is in a working district a lot of people order out. A great casual-fare work lunch.

One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. unfortunately they changed their menu and decreased their serving size - not nearly as appetizing as before! Deeply disappointed!

Went here for their VIP pre-opening event. Have been to other Roti restaurants, so I wanted to see how this new one compares to the others. Started off with a rice plate, chicken roti and steak roti. Then I added tomatoe and cucumber, red cabbage slaw, fresh vegetables, olives and feta cheese. I had the roasted red pepper sauce on the side. Of course this came with the delicious house-baked pita bread. Fresh and tasty, everything was really delicious and good for me.

Awesome food made with fresh and delicious ingredients! The salad bowls are amazing and have so many unique and tasty topping options. The meat is also very tender and fresh and the falafel are very good. Love this place for an inexpensive, fresh, and hearty meal!

I came to this location on a day when my friends and I were treated to some new menu items as part of their Exploration Kitchen event. The staff were all really friendly and we even got a chance to meet the CEO! I've always been a fan of Roti but going through this experience really cemented my appreciation for a company that goes above and beyond to bring diners a quality experience. We were treated to their spicy steak laffa as well as their new hummus bowl with chicken, corn, and kale. The laffa was filled with a variety of healthy grains, feta cheese, tomato and cucumbers along with their grass fed beef. While the title says spicy, I didn't feel too much heat which worked for me! The hummus bowl was a bit lighter but just as filling. With a generous portion of their creamy hummus, it was perfectly complimented by their delicious chicken, kale, and sweet corn kernels. The dish was elevated and brightened with the addition of the green s'hug sauce which I want to put on everything! I must say both were very hearty meals, yet were made with such wholesome and healthy ingredients that I felt ZERO guilt. I would come back again and again for a healthy lunch along with their delicious blackberry and ginger iced tea. All around a great meal option that I can always come back to and never get bored with!

I love Roti!!! I've never had anything here that wasn't good. That's a big deal because I'm very particular and like my made a certain way. You literally can't go wrong here. The staff is so nice and will always give you recommendations if you ask or seem confused. The chicken is always a safe choice and works with literally everything. It's a little small on the inside but that doesn't bother me at all. Come for the service, food, and overall great experience.

First time trying Roti and it was decent. I opted for the falafel pita sandwich. The sandwich seems small at first but it was really filling. Besides falafel, Roti offers a variety of protein options including chicken kabob, steak, and salmon kabob. As for toppings, I chose hummus, red cabbage slaw (really good!), feta cheese, and tomato & cucumber. You can also ask for any toppings to be on the side in case you don't want them directly in your sandwich. I finished off my sandwich with the garlic sauce. Roti has sooooo many sauce options I wasn't sure which to choose. The garlic sauce was good. I recommend asking for a couple of different sauces on the side so you can try multiple.

I'm torn giving 3 stars to this place because Roti's food was the highlight of my Chicago trip, not exaggerating! The quality and quantity of food at the price was amazing! However, even though the food was 5 stars, the service was not even worth 1 star so 3 star seems fair, I guess. I placed the order here online after the lunch rush on a weekday, around 2 pm and was given the wait time of 12 min. (pro tip: download the app and for first time customers, you get $5 off!) I decided to walk to the location from my hotel which took around 15 min and on reaching the restaurant I checked the pre-made food section for my bowl. It wasnt there so I went to the counter and they said they would make my order now, in person, while I was there. It felt weird that what was the whole point of placing the order online and paying then but I was hungry so I repeated my selection again, when at last we reached the protein section and they said that they were out of lamb meatballs and I would have to wait for 15 min to get them. The server said that they can substitute chicken instead and I said no. Now, firstly lamb option as a protein is pricier than the chicken so it wasnt a fair substitution and secondly, since I had already placed and paid for the order online more than 15 min earlier, why couldnt they have had the meatballs ready. I told them I would wait and they told me that they would inform me once the meatballs were ready. I spent the next 20 min browsing my phone and street watching and getting increasingly hungry. After another few min I decided to check if the meatballs were ready or not so I went to the counter. There were different servers who told me that the meatballs were ready 10 min ago! I was pissed that the previous server didnt inform me or bring my food despite me being one of the two customers at the store. Since the current server was a different one, I had to show proof of my payments and order again to them, repeat my whole order again to get a new bowl of food made for me (not sure what happened to the first bowl of food which was made and kept aside waiting for meatballs). I wasnt offered any apology or comp for not having the food available 45+ min after placing the initial order. Since I was starving I decided to not argue and eat the food first. Coming to the food, it was really amazing! Maybe it was because I was really hungry but this was one of the best Mediterranean fusion food I had had. There were so many fresh and incredible tasting ingredients and the bowl looked colorful and was a feast for the eyes as well. This is a chain food store so I'm assuming the quality of food is similar at other locations as well. I would recommend to try out other locations but skip this due to spotty service.

I wanted a salad and Roti was conveniently right up the street so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the rice bowl with all the trimmings. While I was pleased at all of the colorful trimmings and ready to be wowed by the flavor I was a little disappointed. I could hardly taste the food due to the fact everything was so charred and over cooked. The chicken was burnt to a crisp and had no flavor whatsoever and the broccoli was so burnt that it took for me to add all 3 sauces at once just to try and drown at the flavor. I wound up ordering something else because the restaurant had already closed and it was too late for me to go back. They also forgot to add my pita bread. Needless to say I was disappointed because I didn't think you could mess up something so simple as a salad.

Delicious and fresh. All locations are not as fresh as Randolph. Very friendly staff greet you when you enter.

I frequent this location 3-4 times a week, I am a die hard fan w/ the pay by app on my phone. The line moves swiftly and I am ALWAYS greeted by a friendly face who serves me FRESH HEALTHY LUNCH for under $10. the flavors are terrific, the veggies have a fresh crunch, and the customized toppings allow me to infinite variety. again, the TEAM is terrific. Martin is a great example of what Hospitality should be

For a fast-casual chain restaurant, this location is pretty good. Compared with other places in the neighborhood, it is a reasonable value for the money, with a variety of toppings on a choice of meat in a rice or salad bowl.

I'm a fan of Roti's food - I've eaten just about everything on their menu at this point. Every other location I've been to has been a fast, reliable, and tasty lunch spot. My review is not an indictment of the brand or chain. But this west loop location has now run out of rice two weeks in a row, on August 22nd and August 30th, at the peak of the lunch rush. Now I get it, stuff happens. But respect your customers and give them a heads up. When there was a line out the door that my colleague and I waited in for ~15 minutes before we learned about the rice situation, I suggested to the employee I tried to order from that they put up a sign warning customers about the situation before they got in line. They said it was a good suggestion and they'd talk to the manager about it. Clearly they didn't as I just had the same experience! Same 15 minute wait to be told they were out of rice. No sign but just as much enthusiasm from the employee about it being a good idea. But why would I go back? Why waste my time? Avoid this location of Roti and find a more reliable fast casual spot in the west loop. They're popping up left and right.

Wow! I visited this restaurant at the same time the new CEO happened to be in-line picking up his dinner. Justin Seamonds was one of kindest and most helpful guys I've ever met. I must have had a puzzled look on my face as I was trying to figure out what to order, he went through the menu with me and even offered samples! I ordered "flip the bird" with riced cauliflower and a side of hummus. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! Tasted so fresh with beautifully seasoned quality ingredients. This place is going to be my go-to dinner restaurant when I don't have time to make a healthy meal at home. I give the CEO, food and service an A+. Thank you Roti for making healthy food accessible and affordable

This location has completely gone down hill and it's so disappointing. I used to frequent this spot, as I live only a few blocks away and when it first opened it was fantastic. The past 2 times I visited the staff was rude and the main food options were unavailable. I'm sorry to say I will not be going to the West Loop location anymore and management needs to make some serious changes before it's just another restaurant that didn't make it on Randolph.

This is a fantastic roti location. I have the pleasure of working with Charmaigne, she was so sweet and wonderful!

Came in 12/10/18 at 7:50 pm.. There were only 2 customers, 1 being a cop..so i was getting food for me and my wife, i was on the phone getting order wasn't greeted by anyone. I saw that a extra heavy set black woman. Burned the broccoli and so i waited for her to collect her self, finally she came and had the worst interaction with me, i pointed at the fresh veggies, so she went for something else and i said no the one infront of it.. So she said you know the names are right there, in the nastiest attitude, so i reacted like any human would, we ended up yelling at each other.. She obviously didnt care but at the end i asked a manager " her name is latisha, funny part is that another customer came in.. He was greeted with royalty.. What ever you looked stupid when i yelled at your dumbass... Folding burritos your a winner! Google review coming up as well.. Thanks latisha.

This is smaller than the other ones I've been too; kind of like an express. Of course I had the Rice Plate with the spicy lamb meatballs.

Love this place! Super quick and delicious, I've been here three times this week! I usually get the chicken kabob, dill yogurt, tahini, rice bowl. Sometimes the portions are a little off when they serve the chicken (some times more, some times less) but overall I've never had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfectly placed in Randolph. I usually come here when I don't have time to dine-in for too long.

Love all of their fresh and flavorful food! Veggies are delicious, and they make a great option for catering!

This location can be hit or miss. I've had some terrible experiences with them being out of toppings and being served the scraps left over from the busy day. Today I had a great experience with a young man (don't know his name) who provided exceptional customer service. He took the extra time to get a fresh bag of Kale/spinach for my salad (at my request). Usually, they'll give me the old wilted salad at the bottom of the bin. He was warm and friendly and made sure my salad was prepared perfectly!
