Rouge Barre

The 5-dodues menu was very nice experience, however the compositions aren't as rich in taste that I expected. I really loved the starters: cream of porcini with smoked haddock, a great combination, and the perfectly seasoned red mullet: acidic, salty, just a little bit bitter. The wild sea bass with turnip and corn: tasty, but the proportions of the ingredients were not balanced, as the taste of corn/popcorn was predominant. Besides, I don't think the dill goes well with it. The rabbit with pork stuffing really amazing with very little sign of pork. Finally, I found the dessert, mango with coconut not expressive enough.

Excellent service. Very flexible with requests and accommodating. We really enjoyed the seafood, all the sauces were very imaginative and every flavor was really pleasing. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Absolutely out of expectations for a culinary experience. Ingredients were so fresh, highly skilled cooking, excellent presentation and very attentive service. Highly recommend

A little bit over seasoned for me but my partner loved it. The dessert was the best I've ever had.

Very nice 3 course prix fixe meal. All the flavors for each dish worked well together, the cod was cooked perfectly. I very much enjoyed my lunch.

We came to Rouge Barre for a special anniversary dinner and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and all the staff were super friendly. Accommodated a non gluten diet really well. Highly recommend

I made a reservation for lunch for the next day, they sent me several emails saying we look forward to welcoming you.. Next morning they cancelled my lunch reservation without any warning -- I have NEVER had this happen with a restaurant before. It's a shame, I was looking forward to coming here. Ended up booking another restaurant (Suzanne) which was great.

The best restaurant I have been to in Lille. By far. Absolutely recommended.
