The chef prepares lovely Mediterranean sharing plates, concocted with ultra-fresh produce. It is delicious and hearty, and the wallet doesn't take too heavy a hit. Lovely bar not very from the promenade. The food is the highlight here. I had the best octopus and pork of my Nice trip here. No doubt about it. The presentation of the dishes is noteworthy. Do try this place out if you are not very particular about eating all the meals at promenade :)

Wow! I’m absolutely in love with this place. Not only is it located in my favorite part of the city, but it also reminds me of my beloved wine bar in Paris! The atmosphere is incredible, especially when it’s packed. I’d recommend coming with a big group and ordering as many different dishes as possible—everything is seriously delicious. How do they do it? Magic beyond Hogwarts, maybe? The waiters are friendly and always ready to help you pick the perfect wine.

Everything about this place is welcoming - from the service and friendliness of the staff to the simple yet tasty dishes they serve. I tried the squid, the octopus and the deep fried ravioli with the Aligote (amazing!) and also tried a Chenin blanc which was recommended by the staff. It’s a great place to taste and discover French wines. Merci ☺️

I found Rouge thanks to the Michelin Guide. This should qualify on its own however the service from Leo, my server, was outstanding. I was lucky that he is fluent in both French and English. He willingly and kindly shared his thoughts on the menu and lead me to some great choices. I ate my way around the Mediterranean and would go back in a heartbeat. The wine was terrific. The food was inventive but refined. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Tapas bar style with very tasty dishes to share and fresh and loca wine to taste. Fish, pork belly and pain perdu our top picks. Friendly atmosphere and staff super kind, no need to book but it can get full quite easily.

A great spot for shareable plates. Beautiful presentation and very good food. We had the charcuterie, tuna saku, octopus, and zucchini flowers. A must stop in Nice
