Rouge, Restaurant - Bar à vin

I found Rouge thanks to the Michelin Guide. This should qualify on its own however the service from Leo, my server, was outstanding. I was lucky that he is fluent in both French and English. He willingly and kindly shared his thoughts on the menu and lead me to some great choices. I ate my way around the Mediterranean and would go back in a heartbeat. The wine was terrific. The food was inventive but refined. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Rouge was a fantastic surprise, we thought we’d liked but we loved it. The concept is amazing, putting together small plates to share and a wine bar, in another words, just perfect! But things got even better due to the execution in perfection of the kitchen plus the effective and gentil service of Leon! Thank you guys and count us in for goods food and vibes in the near future!

This place completely won us over! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and served by Marion, the co-owner of the establishment. 😻🫶🏼 Her friendly and attentive demeanor made us feel so welcome, and her wine recommendations by the glass were spot on — exactly what we were in the mood for, perfectly matching our tastes. We weren’t planning a big meal, just a glass of wine with some light bites before heading out. But every dish we tried was exceptional, making it feel like a mini celebration. Choosing this bar was the best decision — it’s a hidden gem that we’ll definitely return to. Even the restroom, stocked with Zielinski & Rozen cosmetics, adds a luxurious touch. Every detail here is perfect, and this spot has truly found a place in my heart ♥️ Highly recommend! 🫶🏼

Cozy tapas bar nearby the port. Crowded, seems like a popular place. Plus for big variety of wine. I can surely recommend croquetas and octopus. Portions are fine, but overall level of dishes was unequal - some positions were very good and some of them were very ordinary. To sum up - decent food, but a bit overpriced. There are so many options in Nice to try, so not sure if I would come back.

I ate here with my daughter and it was such a good experience that we came back the following evening. Gautier and Alexandra provide wonderful service, tolerated my Franglais and offered wonderful food and wine. The wine choice is very good indeed. Food is sort of French tapas, if that’s a thing. Small plates of interesting and well cooked food. The backstreet location is lovely and relaxed. Stand out food included razor clams, courgette flower tempura and the charcuterie board. I need another weekend in Nice to experience it again.

I was looking for a casual place for lunch in Nice with great wine and great small plates and this place didn’t let me down. The wine was amazing and the food was even better. The pork belly is a must, the razor clams were fire, the special risotto of the day was amazing too. Love this place and will be back!

The tapas here has a Spanish influence. Very tasty. Prices are fair for Nice. Will come back to try other dishes.

What a great wine bar/bistro! We were looking for a light lunch before starting our visit in Nice. As the weather was quite bad, we were very happy to find Rouge just a bit off the port. The concept is quite simple, a huge selection of French and non-French wines, with an array of clever and elaborate dishes. We ordered a few different dishes to share, among others razor clams, pork belly with a genius pepper sauce, burger made from pork knuckle and local cheese. The clear winner for me was the pork burger that we ordered twice :) You also have a great choice of desserts and a nice espresso to round of your visit. Service is professional and very friendly. Butter from Yves Bordier for the gourmets. Allergies are perfectly taken into consideration.
