Round Table Pizza

The first Round Table Pizza establishment circa 1959. Nothing more needs to be said. Come enjoy the Arthurian ambience, knightly pizzas and an extensive salad bar fit for a king or queen. I was sad when the Los Altos location closed recently but this one will do :) Extremely friendly staff, clean dining room, and delicious food. The folks who work here clearly take pride in their work.

Got to know this round table over Menlo Park was the original store established in 1959. The little court yard is very cute. My two daughters and I ordered medium hot buffalo wings and King Arthur all meat pizza. We are very happy with the food quality. Definitely will go again.

I love round table pizza. Great flavor, great atmosphere, great service. There’s a reason I’ve been coming to this location since I was 5 back in ‘89.

Consistently excellent pizza with great variety in the salad bar. Excellent for their weekday lunch specials. A little pricier than the average pizza chain but quality is far, far better and definitely worth it. Staff is also super friendly and I’ve always had great customer service at this location. My go-to for takeout pizza in the area!

Indoor dining is now open finally. It's clean and big enough for at least 4 families or 12 people, able to distance of course. It looks like it has some history from the 80's till present day and they even have a knight. I ordered the personal size combination pizza with a root beer and it was definitely enough for my lunch. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy and with plenty of toppings which is very filling. Friendly staff and very clean restrooms as well.

Original Round Table! It's not busy during the week. The pizzas are freshly made, the staff are cordial, and parking is available on the side.

A complete nosedive ! This location used to be a complete rare gem !!! The pizza tastes right all the time and it never deviates ! Now I don't know if it's an uber eats thing but even if you ask for specifics they don't honor it. I added extra black olives and ordered the boneless chicken . Everything was burnt and arrived Late ( maybe because Tney grill pizzas and boneless chicken . My meal was disgusting . It's like a new recruit or someone who just didn't care tossed it into the oven on high . Everything was burnt to a crisp for 65.00. I gave This location business for years what's happened to your quality and quality ethics ?

I've been ordering from here for the past 2 years. I always order for delivery and we get our pizza pretty fast , more times than not we get it before the time they tell us. I always tip in cash and appreciate them getting here in under the time quoted. My pizza is always hot and they always bring the condiments to go with it. Today we dinned in and our pizza and wings were great! !!!

I don't know what's going on with this location. Their ability to pay attention to an order has slid completely downhill. 3 weeks in a row, I've placed an order on GrubHub. First order was small pizza with six garlic twists. I was delivered 12 garlic twist, no pizza. Second order, 12 garlic twists. I received six. Just last night, I ordered small pizza and six garlic twists. I received both, but the garlic twists were way overcooked, hard and dry. I'm an Executive Chauffeur who works for a family here in the Atherton area. So I was unable to leave the property. Imagine how pissed off I was to open boxes but didn't contain my orders, or food that was burnt? This location is the the FIRST EVER Roundtable Pizza! DO BETTER!!!!!!

I met with a small social group to see the Round Table place that started the chain. When walking in, it's quaint and clean and at the back you can see a decent size arcade and the salad bar. There is a room to the right reserved parties and it had large screen tv, pool table, table top arcade and a knight armor standing by the door as it greets you walking in. I remember this type of setting was great for college hangouts and watching sports. For families, it's the arcade. I decided on the salad bar as it was an old time favorite when I was a teenager. The lettuce wasn't fresh but there was a variety of fixings with salad dressing to choose from. The rest shared on the largest King Arthur pizza that they are known for and did a 50/50 which the other half was veggie. They said the pizza was good. The highlights were the salad bar, arcade and the party room so you can hangout with groups enjoying drinks, pizza and a game.

I am literally down the street from this round table and they won't deliver to my house. I guess we live on the wrong side of the tracks right. My neighborhood is not posh enough for them. So I guess using their app is impossible. No points for the unposh.

I had been to this Round Table location many years ago. Pizza was absolutely delicious. It's been 9 years since and we wanted to give it another try. It's walkable from downtown Menlo Park, on el Camino real. Really convenient spot with ample amount of parking. It took us a bit to figure out the entrance to the restaurant. When we got there, it seemed like they were closed or about to close. There were no other customers at 9 pm on a Friday evening. We placed our order and it took about 15 mins to get our pizza - half King Arthur Supreme and half Gourmet veggie. Crust : The crust was too crunchy 3/5. Topping : Good amount of topping 4/5. Sauce : pizza tasted a bit dry, could have used more sauce or olive oil and perhaps more flavorful sauce 2/5 Freshness : it tasted very fresh 5/5 Overall, the pizza was a 3/5 for us. Delivery was fast and pizza was hot and delicious. The prices are a bit higher than other locations but you get what you pay for.

This was an absolute disaster of an attempted take out order. The person answering the phone was completely out of touch. Could not answer a single question & confused everything. After asking 3 times who the manager was, another person came to the phone & said that they had to manager there. Well, wonders never cease right? Then I was informed they had no delivery driver & had to you DoorDash instead with $$$ Delivery charges & couldn't take cash either. What an exercise in futility. Avoid this place at all costs!

This place had a very nice salad bar every thing was fresh I really enjoyed it and the pizza as always on point I got the King Arthur supreme delicious

Great pizza, over priced $45 for a large, before tip. delivery service seems to have changed, called didn't know where to deliver. Have my address twice, 1 mile from restaurant. Cold pizza.

This is the very first Round Table pizza. I have many memories of this place as a kid. Great salad bar and hardworking staff. Will be back.

I prefer Round Table Pizza compared to Amici. You actually get toppings on Round Table pizza's. They have a good lunch special with a salad bar. The staff are nice and friendly. It's kid friendly spot with a few pinball machines. They are also fast with delivery in Menlo Park area. I would recommend the thin crust pizza's.

Not impressed, i actually drove from stockton to try out this establishment for my birthday. Grew up in San Mateo, and the round table off of 3rd and b was awesome; was expecting a "ratatouille" moment but naw. Actually the franchise in Pleasanton off of hopyard is way better. No round table-table No original ovens( all are rolling pizza ovens) Anchovies and shrimp are not offered Disappointed thought its was gonna be like in the old days!!!! Oh well....

Dang.... what happened to this place? Ordered online for pickup, and was met with super rude customer service. Not a hello.... but a stoic stare, and a grunt. The same grunting employee at the cash register asked me for my ID and credit card after I told that I had ordered online, and my name for the pizza although I paid online when I ordered. Glanced at my card, and took down the last four digits all in the name of fraud prevention.... hhmmm. I'll accept that response I suppose. At least the pizza was ok. Not stellar, but fair. Thank goodness for my coupon, because in addition to the poor customer service; this definitely did not warrant paying full price. I do hope this landmark can turn it around in terms of service, and the employee was just having a tough day.

The family and I really enjoyed this location and the food provided as our post thanksgiving/black Friday dinner. I have a ver picky eater for a child so when pizza was brought up they got a big smile and said yes please. The only draw back for me was that the pizza wasn't ready when we got there but on the flip side it just turned into more family time with the bro. They brought the food out to the car and we headed home. The kids loved the food and so did the adults! Who knew pizza went to well with thanksgiving leftovers? Either way we all had a good meal with great people and I couldn't have asked for much more.

What's not to love. Reliably excellent, traditional pizzas; family atmosphere; friendly service; quick delivery; AND locally owned and operated! Definitely recommend.

This is where it all started; the original Roundtable pizzeria and it didn't not disappoint. The staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful. The place was clean and the salad bar was full. We love Roundtable pizza and we're happy we stopped here. My daughter order the salad bar and we ordered the King Arthur Supreme. I think this was the best pizza I've ever had. Seriously, look at all the toppings and how good it looks! We travel a lot and have tried our fair share of Roundtable's. I'm glad we stopped here. I recommend this location 100%

I order a large pepperoni pizza it was good very yummy for dinner while watching Top gun Maverick eating my pepperoni pizza I haven't had round table in the long time it's good pizza I have some for leftovers give some to my neighbor

Came here for the lunch buffet. It was just okay. There wasn't much pizza out when we got there, but they put more out eventually. There was no ice in the soda machine, so we asked for canned soda instead. The salad bar had empty containers and was not well stocked. I think they were understaffed when we got there, but aside from that don't think I'll be returning to this location.

It's Round Table, the original one, sobit has that goong for it. Clean, bright, good place to have a beer and watch a game.

Do you love pizza? Do you love historical places? Do you love Round Table? Yo! This is your place!!! This happens to be the very first Round Table Restaurant ever! How cool is that? My husband took me here as a surprise, because he knows I love this kind of stuff. The building is fair sized, it's classic. They sell t-shirts saying it's the original Round Table, and there is a wall with articles and awards of the original owner. We sat in the main room, only because there was a large party in the banquet room, we didn't want to disturb their party. The banquet room has a mini waterfall, and a large flat screen TV. We ordered their tasty salad bar and a small pizza, more than enough for 2 people. Check it out if you like original joints.

Sometimes I set unrealistic expectations. I expect situations to go a certain way. I expect people to do or say certain things. I know it's not healthy, but I can't help it sometimes. So when I started to set my expectations for Round Table Pizza, I knew it wasn't good. What if it didn't taste how I expected? What if it didn't make me feel how I was expecting to feel? Was I setting myself up for disappointment? Maybe I was putting this pizza on a pedestal that it could never live up to. I could have been imagining a pizza that didn't even exist. It wouldn't have been the pizza's fault for not meeting my expectations, it would be my fault for expecting any pizza to make me feel like that. So before I got the pizza I decided to come back down to planet Earth. I was going to accept this pizza for whatever it was. When I took my first bite it turned out to be the pizza of my dreams. It was everything I ever could have wanted and more. When it comes to Round Table Pizza, I don't have to worry about expecting too much because they'll definitely deliver.

I am giving them a three because I am a Round Table Pizza fan, but yesterday I ordered a half combo half garlic chicken gourmet large pizza. I ate a few slices and was happy to have left over this morning. I heat up a slice start chowing down on it and bam I see a hair on the crust. As I am about to take a bite off the crust a part of the cheese fell off and I see this hair, which appears to be a lash. I am so disappointed because I still have like 7 slices left. I am disgusted. **Thanks for the refund, but I was questioned that I barely reported this today, yet I specifically told management that I had left over pizza from yesterday's dinner and I heated up a slice this morning and I discovered the hair. I have been buying round table pizza from this location for years. I wouldn't waste my time to do all this, but considering it is a sanitary issue it should be addressed. I am angry about the questioning. I even told management to keep their money I just wanted to make them aware of the issue, but it wasn't fair that I had to throw away the rest of the pizza, instead of my money back I even suggested a replacement pizza for the future and that I still had half of the pizza and that I could send them pics of it. I was questioned because I ordered the pizza yesterday evening and barely let them know about the hair today. Well duh I didn't eat the entire freaking pizza last night, I let them know today when I ate this particular slice. I offered to send pics, but he said it was OK. Thanks for my money back, but please look at your records and I realize I am a customer for many years. Pretty disappointing. Tell your staff to be careful handling food, they should put out what they are willing to eat themselves. For the most part they have always been nice to me, but still the management pissed me off

This a review for the Round Table Pizza, Menlo Park. My nephew and I enjoyed a delicious combination pizza on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 13, 2023. The team knocked the deliciousness out of the ballpark. The crust was perfect. The amount of ingredients on the combo was perfection. The restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. BIG THANK YOU for a wonderful meal.

This is, by far, our favorite pizza place. The quality of the ingredients in the pizza blows past other chain restaurants and is as good if not better than most independent pizza joints. On top of how good the food is, the staff is exceptional! We order from them every Wednesday night and they always remember us by name and remember our usual order. They've even saved me several times knowing that my son loves their twists and if I forget to order them, will ask if Dante doesn't want them this time around. When I realize I forgot, they're always happy to get an order of them started for me. I'm so grateful for that level of detail. The restaurant is also always impeccably clean. It was before the COVID crisis and still is. If it's been awhile since you've had a Round Table pizza, I encourage you to give THIS LOCATION a try!

Absolutely rude staff!! Went there with family and heard the staff talking in Spanish very rude things about people in the restaurant. My family and I all speak Spanish and completely shocked. Rude. And the salad bar is frozen hello!!!

Today's visit was as fantastic as ever! The salad bar was extremely fresh, and the items are kept very cold. Bob, the owner/manager/son of the founder made sure there were many delicious pizzas to choose from (all you can eat of the pizza and salad bar for a fixed price). Of course, you can order pizza at the counter to take with you, or have it delivered if you are within the delivery area. I was unhappy to hear that a tree trimming truck from the city of Menlo Park parked and blocked their entire parking area for two hours last Friday. Businesses like this should be treated as the crown jewels they are - without local hard-working business owners like Bob, Menlo Park would be just another faceless suburb with national chain restaurants. Round Table Pizza is a locally founded, locally owned corporation that should be treasured by all. I highly recommend that you make it a point to patronize Bob's location, or any of the other Round Table locations you may find in your travels. Thanks, again, Bob! You're the best!

We've always been customers of Round Table and to this specific location we have always thrown parties here in the banquet room. We've always had a good experience. But this day was exceptionally great. Today was my daughter's 1st birthday and the manger (Omar I believe) was very friendly and helpful as well as the other staff. They allowed us to come in early and stay later as no one else had reserved the room. We really had an awesome time and the food was great! Defiantly recommend this location and will be coming back in the future!

I love to support local businesses. Especially when they have been around for 50+ years like this place. And... this is the original location so that adds to "local" plus "great food". The pizza and food are better than good but compared to other places it is pretty expensive. $20 for a small pan pizza. That is before taxes and tip. So, when I order from them I expect quality. I ordered a x-large pizza and a small pan pizza. It arrived and the pan pizza was NOT a pan pizza. It was barely cooked and it just looked like two pieces of pizza dough put on top of each other. The order also arrived late because the delivery person told me that they had to wait for the small pizza. Look at the photos. Ugh. I got a refund through Uber Eats but I was really disappointed.

This was the first time I tried Round Table pizza in Menlo Park. I ordered a pizza and some boneless chicken wings. I went to pick up and it was promised to be ready when they said , when I arrived it was ready. Took the food home and the pizza taste was about average. No one in the family really liked the boneless chicken wings. They were more like chicken McNuggets, but they tasted like spoiled fish with a a very mushy texture. We tried two pieces and felt this was not acceptable, not enough time to bring back that night , so I planned to bring back the next day. I brought it back and spoke to the manager , and I asked for a credit or store credit because the food did not taste good. I told him I had better things to do than to bring back something for $15 , It was more of the principle , and letting them Know the food was bad. But all he could say was he could not do anything about it. He said why I didn't I bring it back that same night ? it was late and I wasn't going to do that and eat my pizza cold when I got back. It was terrible customer service , and he didn't offer any apology and just turned around and left. Obviously he has no experience being a manager and he doesn't know anything about customer service. I told him that I would never come back and that he lost a Local Customer. End of story , if you go , you need to know what kind of people you are dealing with. The customer should always be happy !! Am i wrong to think like that? It was first time bad experience for me and left a bad taste for the round table franchise!!

This place Give me a hard time every time I order pizza I was delayed oh they took to long to deliver . there's a wrong address oh a wrong phone number I like the pizza by the service it's gonna pour managers from Round Pizza help me out . You guy make good pizza but every time is something new .please work on this i'm going to really appreciate it.

2 medium pizzas (one Guinevere's, one pepperoni-olives-and-mushrooms) and 6 garlic breadsticks for $53? Seriously? One of the ingredients for this evening's dinner had passed its prime in the fridge and nothing else was thawed, so we called out for pizza. It took 45 minutes to arrive (ordered at 7:30 pm, arrived at 8:15pm), there was much confusion on the phone and it took a little while to get the order right. On the plus size, it arrived as ordered. Not hot, but warm at the least. However for $53, I would have expected the pizza to at least be hot. Also, they asked for the 3-digit v-code on the back of my credit card. The code that every bank I've ever had has advised me to never give out over the phone. The receipt doesn't show individual prices for the items, just a listing of what was ordered and the total price, as well.

I ordered a customized pizza (BBQ chicken without chicken or bacon) because I love the BBQ sauce and veggies on it. Very disappointed to get back a pizza - verified by the manager Vivienne "personally" - with the most parsimonious amount of sauce possible (see photos). If I have to pay gourmet pizza prices, I also expect gourmet taste.

I think this is one of the very first 5 RT's ever built. When I first moved to the area with one of my friends this is all we knew about getting pizza. We were also interested in the fact that they had stand up arcade games. Those days are long gone but the original funky building design stays true. I've since found way better pizza but Round Table just keeps chugging along

We got a great pizza delivered on New Years Eve, on time! It was the Maui Zowie. Delicious

This is the original, the original Round Table Pizza. It opened up in 1959 and is still going strong. The restaurant has an old English cottage motif. It has a banquet room that can be used for birthday parties and other events. The interior has been kept up pretty good but it's not the most modern of interiors. Has pinball machines in back. The pizza itself is the typical Round Table variety, good to very good, but not great. The service is fine but nothing noteworthy.

This used to be my favorite pizza growing up in the 80s and 90s...but all the stores have become run-down. The pizza isn't any less expensive but the stores and staff have gone downhill. The pizza itself is fine, but I wouldn't recommend eating in any of the locations--just get delivery.

ATTN: Strangest dine in experience My kids and I decided to dine in at this location to have lunch and study since it's generally quiet, calm and not crowded here. We sat in the furthest room in the back corner where no other customers were dining. Granted it was closest to the arcade and we didn't consider it might get noisy if kids came to play. Anyhow- since our table was filled with computers, notebooks and text books we used the nearest table for our pizza once it arrived. We were generally undisturbed, until things started getting weird. Kids playing hide and seek crawled under our table to hide- we laughed and kept working since they didn't stay long. Then a toddler boy came with his dad and played a few games- once they were done he cried and cried since he wanted to play more but his dad didn't allow it. This same toddler came back to the arcade without his parents and he was approached by a man I thought was his relative. He appeared to be playing with the toddler and then hugged him in a long embrace on two separate occasions. The toddler stared at him confused and did not hug him back. It was then I realized he didn't know this man at all, I stood up to tell the man something, when finally the toddlers father came and the strange man walked back to his table. The father looked concerned and I told him what happened but he didn't seemed phased by it. He may not have completely understood since he may have not spoken English. Despite the fact that I felt uneasy about what I just witnessed I kept eating and studying with my kids. When all of a sudden my daughter yells "hey!" When a teenage kid wondered out of the arcade just after grabbing two slices of our pizza. I stood up to see what the hell was going on and he was picking toppings out of the salad bar and placing them on top of the pizza as he is recording from his iPhone! At first I felt bad because I thought maybe the kid walked in from the street just hungry and short on cash so I was going to let it go. But the iPhone proved different! I told the cashier what he had done and he compensated us with a free small pizza. I honestly wasn't looking for free pizza but I was so pissed that our study session was so rudely interrupted in the strangest way. Not even at a busy, chaotic restaurant would I expect this type of dine in experience. Being that so many things were going on at once my family and I just packed up and left! However, since our visit I have called the manager and expressed my concern about the weird encounter between the man and the toddler. He seemed genuinely concerned and said he'd keep an eye out if he returns again in the future. The purpose of this review isn't to throw shade on the establishment (staff is very nice and pizza was great) but to bring awareness to a potential threat in the area. This man was Hispanic and wearing dirty jeans and a T-shirt with a puffy vest over. He had salt and pepper hair and wore black sunglasses indoors!

This is such an amazing pizza place. If you need somewhere to go get food after school or work, this is the right place. The service is unbeatable, the food is amazing, and the staff is so friendly. They also have fun games that you or your children can play while you wait for your food. Go to Round Table! It is the best ever!!!!!

this place is great- tuesday's , they have a discount and the place is pretty clean and the arcade is cool. the food is always good and the delivery drivers are curteous. This is the best round table in the area in my opinion.

Fresh hot and delicious pizza mmmm...my delivery was early too! Driver was nice and professional. Only downside no cheese and peppers!
