Round Top Brewing & Kitchen

First time in town and the amazing reviews led me to Round Top Brewing & Kitchen! I appreciate their wine offerings and how many they have! The sauvignon blanc and white blend are both excellent and easy drinkers! Also, what’s better than GOOD queso?? This brewery is easy to order at the bar and they will serve wherever you sit— there is a good variety of indoor and outdoor options— I loved the window seating looking outside! This place has easy parking and the BEST location super close to Henkel Square!

Great brews and food! I’ve eaten here the past two festival seasons, and the food has been tasty, not overpriced, and the beers are quite good. I’ve ordered the turkey sandwich special, side salad, and my friend ordered the brat sandwich. We tried the HWY 237 Helles and the Bock, both delicious and perfectly cold on a hot day. Service was fast and friendly too.

We were tired after a hot day of shopping. We wanted something fast but also some place we could relax. We decided on the special turkey sandwich with pesto basil and a hint of jalapeño. We also got the spinach dip. All delicious and priced well for the area. There was also a singer who was really great.

I really enjoyed my visit to Round Top Brewing & Kitchen. The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment I walked in, and Paul and Brooke have clearly built a place that reflects both their passion and their hospitality. The Stone Cold Fox IPA was the highlight for me. It had a bold flavor with just the right balance, and it’s one of those beers I’d happily come back for again and again. Alongside it, I had the wagyu burger, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor — simple, straightforward, and just really well done, the way I love it. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the place. The food and drinks were excellent, but it’s the thoughtful touches and friendly energy from the owners that made the experience memorable. I left feeling grateful to have found a spot like this in Round Top, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Our absolute favorite place to eat & hang when we’re in Round Top! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu - the burger and tacos are our personal fave - oh and the queso, we eat it by the gallon! They always have specials, too, which is amazing - there’s almost always something new & super special like steak frites or enchiladas. Love the counter service - it’s quick and easy and the food comes out super fast. No waiting around for a server to get to you. Love that they have a natural sparking wine and their beer is so unique. Lastly, the best part is the staff. The ladies at the counter go above and beyond to please - I’ve noticed they remember everyone’s name and are always super upbeat and fun. Oh - one last thing - Brooke & Paul (the owners) went overboard to make my husband’s Birthday a memorable day. We all had a blast and they outdid themselves with the menu. Couldn’t recommend this place more and we’d be super lost without it in Round Top! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place stole the show for me. Very creative food choices and the beer was really good as well! As far as beers go, within the table we tried a few different ones. I personally really enjoyed the Juicy Boots IPA, and the Boy, Howdy! really surprised me in the best way (thought it sounded good, but once I tried it, ended up being my favorite and would go back just for it)

This quaint little spot was such a great find on our way through town. Their staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and their prices were great. We tried the wagyu burger and tuna appetizer. Both were absolutely delicious and took us completely by surprise with the portion sizes. Our daughter also got a PB&J and the break looked homemade. We appreciate places like this because everyone is family and treats you as such.

We always include this as a stop when we come through town. The bar crew is great. The food is really good. We enjoy sitting at the bar, but there's a variety of seating options and it never feels too crowded. Watch the dumb waiter, scope out what other folks are eating before deciding for yourself. The brews are not too adventurous, which I appreciate. Consistent and taste like they're supposed to, for the type. (Does that make sense?) Shop (the market) til you drop, then come recover here :)

Really neat little brewery with very good food. This area is uniquely interesting as the whole area is surrounded by antique shops. Great service and food.

Okay, so there are only a handful of restaurants here in Round Top and the other "good" place always requires a reservation so why not listen to me and come here instead?! I started with some queso dip and OMG I will drive to RT just for this! And I had the most delicious shrimp taco on the planet! Perfectly grilled shrimp with different salsas and cheese and big flour tortilla! Mr. G had some kind of Braut and his favorite IPA brewskie. I opted for a glass of vino and a cute little live band to go with it. Nothing fancy but "I'm telling you right now" it's worth the drive! This will be my "must go to" place when I'm Round Top.

Quality food, large patio and outdoor area right in the heart of Round Top. The beers are top notch and prices are good for the quantity these days. Also, the food came out very quickly and I always like how you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Not being waited on!

Food is amazing, beer is tasty & service is excellent! The Aji tuna special was delicious, the smoked chicken tacos were excellent & the hot dog was a hit for the kiddos. We will definitely be back!

OMG! What a wonderful surprise! I haven't been to Round Top since this opened. The beer is wonderful & the DUCK TACO blew my mind! I was happily shocked at how much meat was on it. The toppings did not overwhelm the duck. My S.O. got the pulled pork sandwich. He said that the meat was juicy & the BBQ sauce was "so flavorful & just WOW!". We shared the chips & queso & it was super yummy as well. The bartender gave us generous pours to sample the beer. We loved the windows that looked out upon the town. There is plentiful outdoor seating & even a fire pit. They did not have it going tonight, but it might have been too early. Manditos next door had no one in the parking lot. RTB is why. I want to come back tomorrow before we leave & try the triple cheese grilled cheese with bacon. Thanks for providing a fantastic evening!

Great little spot! Super cozy ambiance with plenty of indoor seating as well as patio seating (with a fire pit and live music). The food comes down from upstairs via dumbwaiter which is a nice touch. Yummy food. The duck confit taco was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend that one. The shrimp taco was really good too but the duck stole the show! I also loved that they had a small $5 side salad on their menu (when you want to pig out on tacos but also feel sort of healthy by eating a salad on the side). I particularly loved that they used mixed greens (much more nutritious than the usual romaine or iceberg). Friendly staff.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this place was amazing and is a must visit if you're in Round Top. The beer is top notch (I had the Amber) and the burger I had was one of the best a I've had in recent memory. 5 stars for sure!

We visited Round Top Brewing while in the area visiting with friends. This brewery is located in a small local town and you are definitely greeted with wonderful hospitality. The beers are delicious and while we visited there was live music playing outside. Such a nice touch to enjoy a beer outside on the patio while listen to great music! There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as plenty of parking was on the side street. We look forward to future visits to Round Top the next time we're in town!

Despite our roudy bunch of 6 kids and 4 adults taking over a wing of their restaurant, they made us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was great, service was great, and they definitely appreciate their customers more than the bbq place across the way. Thanks for the great experience!

This is my favorite place to eat in Round Top! I have dreams about their Texas Poke Stack and order it EVERY TIME! But everything there I've tried is amazing! Best food in Round Top hands down!

We had a family gathering in Round Top over the Mother's Day weekend so we made ourselves at home at Round Top Brewing. We dropped in for dinner on Saturday and a late lunch on Sunday. Great atmosphere, good food, family friendly, dog friendly and the music on the patio was fun and inviting. This family-owned restaurant has such a warm personal touch.

A pretty gem in this cute little town. We were looking for some swag to take back to the guys from our trip to RT. Went into the bar and they were so helpful to find the right shirt, even going upstairs to grab options in the size needed. The food looked amazing, with plenty of options for every palette.

wow.. you don't go to a Brewery and expect the best Fish Tacos you've ever had, but yep! AWESOME

Cool spot! Very lively. There was a great cover band playing there Saturday night. My friend Victor plays there regularly. He's the best. The service was good. I ordered a duck taco, nachos, red wine, and my friend got a burger with a pretzel bun. It looked good. I'll have to get that next time. The duck taco was delightful.

Beautiful way to embrace the area and the food was exceptional. Staff and customer service were at their best. I highly recommend a day trip visit and enjoy the setting.

It's probably a sign of how upscale the tourist industry in Round Top is getting that you can now get Duck Tacos for lunch. The whole menu was looking very adventurous, and my companions were all happy with their choices.

Went during the Round Top antiques fair, we had a pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. The service was quick. Down home country place!! Very good!!

We've been here at least 3 times now since December and have been waiting to try an actual brew made in house, but naturally, supply chain delays have impacted their ability to brew in house. No fear, its a bit more of a brew-pub at this point. The deviled eggs are definitely better than expected, with a good selection of other munchies. The bar and inside are so cozy and exactly what you'd expect in a brew pub. Lots of seating, but definitely not designed for a big crowd/large group. Each visit has been on a beautiful sunny day which means you can take advantage of the equally nice patio. Tons of great seating and a few fire pits/propane heaters out there. The craft beer selection is among the better ones out there, especially for a small town in Texas. Avery, Odell, and a few notables from across the country are available either on draft or in a can.

GREAT service and AMAZING food! We can't wait to come back when they start brewing their own beer!

Great burgers and ice cold beer - made onsite as well as an array of interesting imported beer. Chill and easy going place to rest your feet after shopping Round top.

An Incredible Culinary Experience at a Comfortable Place If you take anything from this review, just know that the food is above average and the environment is so comfortable. You can easily spend hours here with friends. Great Patio space. There's corn hole, a fire pit, and lots of outdoor seating. Everything I tried was good. I kept wanting to order things even though I wasn't hungry anymore. It was that good. Let's talk about the things I tried: Duck Confit Tacos: okay, WHAT THE DUCK ... (these tacos were so ducking good...) the duck is juicy and tender with a nice flavor, and the toppings have their own unique flavor, from the guacamole to the spicy sauce and fried shallots. They got everything everything right with these tacos. Not to dry or too soggy, and each taco is put together in an artistic way. It's almost too beautiful to eat, but let's not get crazy! You gotta try it. (If I had to pick one thing off the menu, it would be this.) Crawfish Crostini: Im pretty sure that's What it was called. It was a special for the day. It was really delicious. Kind of like 4 mini crawfish pizzas on a plate. If you are a pizza fan like me, and also like crawfish... maybe this is for you. Pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. This is really good. The pork is tender and I am a huge fan of the vinegar based slaw (obviously made in house. Tasted very fresh!) I focused on the food, but my group did enjoy the beers they had there. An overall great experience. Hope to return soon! Brooke, Michelle and the crew really took great care of our group. Provided amazing customer service. Hats off to the chef, Paul. Amazing job by all involved in this wonderful small business.

Amazing Duck tacos and delicious Rueben sandwich. Wide variety of beer. Small selection of wine. The in side is definitely a small bar like atmosphere but has a large patio with lots of seating. Great place for lunch and beers while taking a break from walking and shopping. Right in the middle of everything.

What a gem of a place! We stopped in to grab a drink and dinner and just loved everything about it all! We shred a fish taco, shrimp taco and a steak sandwich. The food was fantastic. We sat outside by the fire and the service was top notch! We will definitely be back.

After being treated HORRIBLY at Royers Pie, our party of (10) headed to Round Top Brewing for what was a TERRIFIC meal served by extremely friendly staff. We will most definitely be back again.

Love the warm, friendly environment, so very welcoming!!!! I've only had the tomato soup, so far, it was DELICIOUS!!!! I will be back! Great place to catch some live music and visit with friends in a laid back, relaxing place.

Excellent Duck and Chicken Tacos. Yummy! Great on tap beer selection. Super nice outdoor patio with music, fire pit and cozy atmosphere. Only been open for 4 days and roving the menu. A must if your coming to Round Top!

Reasonable priced, clean taps, amazing staff, and outstanding food...what more could you ask for. This place is a hidden gem, and definitely the best place we visited in Round Top.

Ok experience. Decent beer but nothing too special. Perhaps it's just the two that I had. Almost tasted like the glasses weren't rinsed well enough. There was a really brash older man seated at the bar too giving the bartenders a really hard time. That probably turned me off from enjoying the place. I'll definitely try it again when in town.

Pulled pork sandwich had a great homemade smoke flavor and the slaw was fresh and light on a pretzel bun. Good music, variety of Texas beers and nice patio. Worth a stop when in Round Top!

This is the most amazing place I've ever enjoyed a beer or a bite. Amazing beer selection (including rare Belgians), the food is excellent but most importantly, the owners and staff are the most incredible, kind and compassionate people. This is a must visit. It's worth traveling long distance to experience.

My wife and I came here with family and had some great beer and food. I got an IPA and the chicken tacos; both were amazing! My wife got the Kolsh beer and the pulled pork sandwich, both of which she loved. We also tried the tuna tostadas which are delicious. The duck taco and the bruschetta were also great as well. Definitely check out this brewery if you want some great food and drinks

Beautiful establishment with one of the most talented chefs in all of Fayette county, TX. Very family friendly with great outdoor space. Must do while in Round Top!

Good selection of draft beers, along with a modest selection of wines. Had the deviled eggs - really good! Dog friendly yard area with fire pit for colder months. Inside is nicely done and cozy style with lots of wood. Seats at the bar or selection of tables. Service prompt and friendly. The brewery side is not up and running just yet but should be very soon.

10/10 recommend!! Literally everything on the menu is superb!! The staff are very friendly and helpful.
