Atlanta’s Restaurant Openings June | Eater Atlanta

"Opened June 15 at Avenue East Cobb, the second Round Trip Brewing Company location (following the West Midtown flagship) pours 10 beers on tap with a focus on “typical and üntypical” German-style brews — including Straight Outta Munich Spezial Helles, Instant Krüsch Extra Pale Kölsch, Oktoberfest Märzen, Dunkel Platz, and Vicarious West Coast IPA — and pairs them with German-leaning pub fare like bratwursts, cheesesteaks, and pretzel bites; the space features an indoor/outdoor bar, a private patio, and an event space for up to 78 people." - Henna Bakshi

Round Trip Brewing Is Opening a Brewery With a Beer Garden Serving Food at Avenue East Cobb in Marietta | Eater Atlanta

"Opening next spring at Avenue East Cobb, Round Trip Brewing will feature a taproom, beer garden, and a kitchen serving hot dogs, bratwursts, soft pretzels, vegetarian dishes, and kids options; look for beers such as the Straight Outta Munich helles, Theresa’s Meadow hefeweizen, and Vicarious West Coast IPA on tap, plus a pilot brewing system producing special beers exclusive to the East Cobb location. I note that the brewery—first opened in 2021 on Seaboard Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta’s Underwood Hills—was founded by Craig and Amy Mycoskie; Craig, who serves as head brewer and has an affinity for German-style beers, previously brewed in Denver, Fort Worth, and Austin and volunteered at SweetWater Brewing Company while attending college in Athens, where the couple met. Brewery tours are offered Wednesday–Friday from 5:30–7:30 and Saturday–Sunday from 2:30–4:30." - Beth McKibben

Wonderful food! Cool indoor and outdoor seating. New menu specials coming that you'll want to check out. Compliments to the chef! He was extremely kind and came out to chat with us. The bar staff was helpful in explaining to us their concept since it was our first time. Highly recommend trying the Arnold Palmer slushie on a warm day. (Bonus you can take it outside to enjoy!)

My husband and I are excited to have this addition to the Avenue, especially connected to the Plaza. We enjoyed the beer, grub, and atmosphere! The pork schnitzel sandwich was perfectly thin and crunchy! Looking forward to more good times. One suggestion for the plaza is to add fans, both to cool down and keep flies away.

Enjoyed the beer and the smash burgers! They had nice staff and lots of cool places to sit and hang out.

Enjoyable second location for Round Trip Brewing! Place is located in a up-scale shopping mall setting, and looks lovely in its new space. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Bartenders will serve you from multiple spots so no need to necessarily wait in line at one spot. They will even come by your table and ask if you need anything if not busy; never experienced that at the OG spot. Full menu along with bags of pretzels; you can also get various Coke products. Water stations at the pour location and kitchen area. They’ll provide you a buzzer when you order food and you walk up and grab it yourself; the buzzer can be manually turned off too. Bathrooms are very clean and the space itself is quite nice with lots of natural sunlight. Definitely worth checking out!

A great experience overall! Drinks were perfect (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options) and we were happy to order hearty snack options for our family to enjoy while we sat on the patio. Fried ravioli, pretzel bites, and Philly cheese steak got rave reviews from our crew. Lots of seating options and room to play in the plaza kept the kids happy and entertained while the adults chatted. Will definitely be returning!

One of our faves when we go into the city, so we were excited to finally get to a location a little easier to get to. Suburbanites. 🙄 Too late in the year for Teresa's Garden so I went for the Dunkel Platz. Not too heavy or bitter. My husband the IPA lover had the IPA hefe fusion option. Interesting, but even though here's are my fave, it's not going to make me an IPA drinker. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with the option to sit out and watch the game on the big screen.

Google
love love love this new brewery! First, the location is awesome - great outdoor area and nice inside. The beer is great and easy drinking, with a lot of good options. Pretzel bites and fried pickles are both good snacks. Staff was really friendly and let me try a few things before I chose one. 10/10 would return

Yelp
On a cool Friday night, the brightly lit interior was almost, most guests choosing to lounge outdoors with the giant tv showing football. There is a covered lawn/patio area popular with small children. The bar staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, allowing me to taste two beers to help me choose. I had the Oktoberfest with the schnitzel sandwich. The beer was very good and the sandwich really hit the spot. It was cozy and peaceful the hour I was there. Orders for food and beverages are taken at the bar, then you pick up food at the back of the dining room. Good system. I was interested in the seemingly fancy shopping center in which this brewery is located. Maybe I'll go back during the day when more of the shops are open.

Yelp
We had some time in between family activities and decided to enjoy some food weather and a brew. I can't really comment on the food, but the beer was good. We went on Friday night and it was hopping with young families. There was a live band playing and toms of outdoor activities. It was really relaxing and a nice and to a Friday. Go check it out!

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE that Round Trip opened in E Cobb. Their beers are top notch, especially Straight Outta Munich, one of the closest interpretations of a classic Bavarian helles I've had in the States. In season, the barrel aged Oktoberfest is also great. Kitchen with pretzel bites and bratwurst (especially prepared by NY Butcher Shop across the parking lot) is a bargain. I do need to try the schnitzel sammie at some point. This is what The Avenues E Cobb has been screaming for.

Yelp
It's nice to have a brewery in East Cobb. The beers are primarily German style, but they offer rotating taps with other variations. The food menu is small but there are some good options, like the locally made sausages. Overall, it's fine. The limited beer styles may deter some, but it's a solid option for those of us who live nearby. Service is always friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Not a huge selection of beers but what they had were great. Decent but small food menu. Pretzel bites were very good with two dipping sauces. Large outdoor area shared with pizza place next door. Saw a live band there last night. I will be back. This area needed a place like this...

Yelp
We absolutely love Round Trip, and this new location is so perfect! We always love their beers- you can't go wrong with anything here. The indoor space is so nice, and has a private event space as well we love the huge outdoor space too with a shared green space as well as plenty of shaded seating. The food options are awesome, and what we have tried so far was great. We loved the boiled peanuts! We will absolutely be back to try more food and brews.

Yelp
Line to order was incredibly slow - waited about 10 minutes with only 4 people in front of us. Not sure if the patrons or the staff was to blame. Beer was good but nothing spectacular. Food was average and took a long time - but we were warned when we ordered. No air circulation in the side room. Might be back but more due to the location than anything else.

Yelp
My first time patronizing this spot...Meh. Hoping these comments will help the management. The German beers on tap seemed like decent choices, but I was hoping for a larger selection of beers, it is labeled a brewery and there was only 9 beers. I had the Hefeweizen which was good, I give it a 7/10. The food and beverage order system used by the server made the interaction feel impersonal. Maybe the server was new/in training, but she was so focused on entering the order to the handheld device. I would not recommend the food. Buffalo chicken dip was very dry, and not much flavor. It had the texture of cat food I wouldn't categorize it as dip. The Philly cheesesteak did not seem like it was made fresh on a grill, the traditional way. It tasted reheated and was very bland and on the dry side for a Philly. They were not generous with the Cheez whiz sauce, the sandwich seemed like it had no cheese, if you try it, I suggest you ask for extra cheez whiz. Overall, the food was overpriced for the quality. Would not eat there again, other than maybe pretzel bites. Music was not exactly appropriate for the crowd. At least I did not like it. When I asked to sample two beers so I could make a choice, the amount of beer that was poured into the plastic half ounce sampler cup was not even a teaspoon in one sample. The server filled one cup less than half way, and the other, maybe 1/8th of the way. That was strange. I probably should have said something and asked for it to be filled at least above the halfway mark. I guess these are all things that can be fixed, but not sure they will change the Philly cheesesteak, seems like a franchise food that is mass produced.....auf wiedersehen! Maybe.

Yelp
I hate to admit how good this place is because then it might get too crowded! The beers were excellent. It's not easy to find a good wheat beer, but they succeeded. The Oktoberfest Marzen was so delicious we took a six pack home. The bratwursts were excellent, as were the pretzel bites. Great location, great food & beverage, what's not to love? Just wish they offered Currywurst too!

Yelp
A nice selection of good beers, something for everyone. The food menu is somewhat limited, but has enough variety to satisfy most. The pork schnitzel sandwich and fries are very good. The staff is attentive and courteous. Overall a great experience.

Yelp
LOVE this brewery! So glad they are in East Cobb. Pretzel bites and Buffalo Chicken Dip are delish! So much I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Great beer selection and awesome space to gather with friends! The bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Tiger M.

Yelp
They do not brew their own beer here and everything gets delivered from their main location which means the beer options are limited and not very fresh. Beers were lukewarm and not very cold. Every beer my friends and I have tried seems to have an unusual sour after taste. Food is okay and not memorable - there's better options in the plaza. I hate to say this, but I'd rather eat at Panera. Really wanted to like this place since the venue is pretty cool and the location makes a ton of sense but they're missing the mark with below average food and beer.

Yelp
Excellent beer offerings now available at new Avenue location in East Cobb. Service staff are courteous, with some bringing experience from the original Seaboard Industrial brewery. Atmosphere is cordial including a spacious layout of several large rooms and patio access. Craig Hayes Atlanta

Yelp
Great spot to grab a beer and a quick bite. It offers a lot of seating - looking forward to the fall watching football games on the patio. The keylime dip is sneaky good. The appetizers are good too, and the beer selection has some nice varieties, there always seems to be something new.
