Delicious drinks, great presentation, and the staff ate friendly and educated. I enjoyed watching the bartender make my drink, and he didn’t mind me asking questions while he did. The staff are happy to make recommendations too. The bartender we had was kind enough to make food recommendations to us for their neighbors next door at Banded if we were more hungry where they only offer snacks. I love this little place. Some of the best Gin I’ve ever had.

Best craft cocktails in the area. Bimini has by far become my favorite gin, and my appreciation for gin based cocktails expands with every visit.

My favorite bar is one where I can say, "I'd like to try (barrel aged gin), and I like (bitter drinks,)" then the bartender proceeds to introduce me to a new cocktail, ideally an exceptional one I'd never bother to make at home. Leanna did this superbly. Love this spot.

Best Gin around. Their small tasting room has evolved into a full blown bar and a bastion of cool for downtown Biddeford. Laid back and friendly, but armed with thoughtful and interesting cocktails. Vibe is buzzy and welcoming with cool music pumping through the vintage hi-fi. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Work through the menu and definitely check out the rotating specials. Snacks and small bites available if you need a bite.

Came here with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised. I had perhaps one of the best spruce tip cocktails (or spruce tip infused beverage of any sort) I’ve ever had, and every drink I tried was well-balanced and unique in its design and effect. The bartender also happened to be the menu designer and was incredibly informative. Very friendly and funny. Thank you! A great place to have a well-made cocktail, whether a classic or something a little new and different. A+ The space itself is quite relaxed and low-key. Great for catching up with old friends or making new ones.

Amazing service Dylan was awesome! He made great recommendations. The drinks were unique and unbelievable. Strongly suggest the blue marlin daiquiri!

Gin will always be my liquor of choice, and I always appreciate the quality of a craft gin. Having been to some cocktail bars in Portland and surrounding areas, I had heard of and tried Bimini gin, which I thoroughly enjoyed. After doing some research, I realized that it was crafted in Biddeford, Maine (my hometown!) by Round Turn Distilling, and I looked forward to visiting their distillery. It took some time, but I finally was able to make it to Round Turn, which is located in the Pepperell Mill campus by Banded Brewing and Portland Pie. Their space is nice and open with a lot of natural light shining through large windows. The venue is feels industrial with their metallic chairs and exposed piping on the ceiling against the freshly oiled wooden floors of the mill. I ended up sitting at the quaint bar where I was quickly greeted by the bartender. He asked if I had been to the distillery before, and at my response of "no", he quickly poured me a shot of the gin to taste. As I browsed through the menu, I noticed that Round Turn as a great deal of drink offerings. Since it is winter, they had many warm-drink and holiday-themed specials, however, they still had their typical options as well. They have an extensive list of tonics to choose from to pair with their gin, and if there are too many to make a choice from, you can order a flight of 5 gin and tonics of your choosing for $15! Their other drink options are around the $8 range, which I think is a steal for an original craft cocktail these days. For my drink, I ordered a special that had gin (obvi), cranberry, lime, and bitters. It was incredibly well-made and the flavors truly complimented each other perfectly! I don't know why it took me so long to make it here, but I will definitely come to taste more of their drinks, and I am certainly eyeing that gin and tonic flight for my next visit!

Everything is fresh and delicious a lot of the drinks are made with gin I love it here and the service is great.

The best cocktails around! Nothing beats the creative gin treats that they conjure up! Been coming for years and always leave drunk! Dylan and his fellow staff are always delightful.

Wowza. This place blew my socks off. Stopped in to try a flight of gin and tonics (my favorite drink, so the chance to try it four different ways? Game on.) The owner was kind enough to let us try a sample of the gin first, so we knew what it tasted like on its own and WOW. It has a lively, fresh, sweet smell and packs quite a punch! Each gin and tonic in the flight had its own distinctive flavor, and each was like a fabulous little treat. For $13 a flight, I promise you, it's worth every penny. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly, and didn't seem put out at all as we fired question after semi-slurred question at him ("what made you want to go into distilling? Why is your gin so darn tasty?") The man is a saint. Round Turn has a nice drink menu with some other delicious-looking gin concoctions, but the flight did us in. All the more reason to come back for another visit!

This place is absolutely uplifting! Gin, a spirit that has been given the moniker of "granny crack" has risen to a whole new level. Bimini has a long list of classics like the gin and tonic combined with a cucumber/ lime drink called the "garden club." All drink are very flavor and botanical forward, and really put a new spin on the idea of gin. This is definitely NOT your grandma's gin (although I am sure she'd love it) and Round Turn's tasting room is both reminiscent of the swanky 50's and today! This place is a must visit!!!!

Came here on a quiet Sunday on our way home from Portland. A gin distillery is not something you see often! I think it's very quaint and cute inside, although not very busy. The drinks are fairly priced and you're welcome to taste test the gin they brew if you're interested in purchasing a bottle. I'm not a huge gin fan in general, and I usually opt for whiskey. However, I think their flagship gin is very smooth and perfect for summer, and their barrel reserve is really flavorful and unique. I picked up a bottle and enjoyed a nice cocktail while here. I recommend anyone to stop in if they would like to try something different. There's also a brewery next door if you'd like to try beer (but there's breweries everywhere).

I don't know if I can call Round Turn underrated since all the reviews on here are (a well-deserved) 5 stars, but seeing as it's never busy when we visit, which is crazy, I'm calling it underrated or overlooked, or maybe people in Biddo just don't like a creative cocktail and just prefer a Bud heavy and a shot of Jack. It's tucked into the same Pepperill Mill complex as Banded Horn brewing, you actually pass it en route walking down the hallway. The interior is simple, minimal but they have this beautiful bar, usually jazz or blues playing on this badass old record console and maybe it's just the juniper and other ingredients, but it always smells nice too. We always sit at the bar and chat with very nice people making the drinks, but there's other seating around if you're with a group or just feel like getting your antisocial drank on. The creations aren't totally over the top, but still creative, always delicious and cheap! At least compared to Portland. $7-$8 for most drinks, I don't think there's any over $10 except for the gin flight, which is definitely a 2-person drinker. If we lived closer, I'd love to spend a lazy sunday here drinking and playing cards or reading, but it would be a long Uber ride back to Portland. They also have a great merch section with not just apparel, but neat drink kits, etc. that make for great gift-giving, at least if your family and friends drink as much as mine do. I'm cool if it doesn't get any busier and we keep having the place to ourselves, but certainly seems like a shame that people are missing out on some tasty, cheap gin beverages.

Big fan of Round Turn- we love their gin and always have some on our bar cart. We picked up a cocktail kit to-go this weekend and were not disappointed. The kit even came with little drink umbrellas and a lemon for garnish! Delicious and innovative during these times. Cheers!

This is certainly the best "bar" I've ever been to. It isn't technically a bar because they can only serve their own alcohol, but they make some great cocktails and carry the most unique and diverse array of tonics I've ever seen. Quiet, well-lit, and very friendly, homey feel. The co-owner was also our bartender, and she explained everything to us and gave out free samples of the gin as soon as we came in. We made ourselves comfortable and ordered some very classy cocktails, and left with a bottle of the gin--purely excellent. Would definitely come back and recommend.

You know, I am not really sure where the distilling takes place at this distillery. I made a special appointment to pick up a bottle of their only product, which is a Gin named Bimini, at the request of some visitors who are gin-crazed. I associate gin with Kennebunkport WASPs swilling their fifth G&T and boasting about offshore assets, so I really am not qualified to judge it. But nobody seems to want to write about Round Turn, and I think they need some props!! The owner, I guess, opened up this vast room with nothing in it but some tables at the end with tasting glasses and sold me a fifth of the product. My visitors raved and raved about the lightness and drinkability of this gin, how ethereal the nose was and yadda yadda yadda. After my second G&T I tended to agree with them......

Amazing service. Amazing distillate in all three gins, the flagship Bimini, the barrel aged and the over proof. Kate MADE the experience and as a guest in the industry from Chicago- this experience was much needed. Cocktails were ON Point. Cheers and welcome back to Maine, round turn distillers.

Love this place! Awesome gin, amazingly crafted cocktails and cute decor. It's one my go to's when in the area.

Whenever I come up from Boston to visit friends and family this is my go to spot for pre-game drinks. Simplistic drink menu (all $6) and you can't go wrong with whatever you choose! Atmosphere is great and the owner's are wonderful. Great addition for the area.

I've gone here quite a few times & honestly I prefer it over most bars in the area... clean... tasty handcrafted gin cocktails. It really is a notch above most!
