"Atlanta-based Player One Arcade Services is opening Player One Arcade Pub somewhere along Buford Highway. The pub will offer vintage arcade games such as Street Fighter and Ms. Pac-Man and food that can easily be eaten while playing games and sipping beer. Player One Arcade Pub plans to have a kitchen serving its own food, breaking away from the game bar template by offering their own menu." - Beth McKibben

Round1 Arcade & Bowling is a really cool place with a great variety of activities and a pretty reasonable cost! We brought our younger kids and were impressed with how much there was to do. The kids’ admission covered mini golf, tons of arcade games, ping-pong, basketball, a trampoline area, and a kids’ play area, while adults were free. We paid $50 for about an hour and a half of play, which felt like a great deal. We went right at opening, so it wasn’t crowded, making it even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and had a fun atmosphere. Definitely a great spot for families looking for a fun indoor activity! We’ll be back.

Absolute great value for the unlimited play that includes the roller skating, trampoline, limited arcade games, basketball, soccer, ETC!!! We took our nephews and had so much fun as well!! Yes there was limited staff sometime, but once you track them down they are very nice and helpful!!! I would recommend One important note; if you have children under 12, I would recommend going BEFORE 4pm on the weekends as the evening crowd was middle school - adult aged and was not the best environment for our 5&7 year old nephews!!! The regular arcade games were quite $$$$!! We played two and our games only lasted maybe… 5-7 minutes total and it cost us $25 because the credits on the regular/“*shiny new games*” are very expensive !!!! Thanks Round1 for a great time!! About the food: we only tried the ice cream (only $.99! And YUMMY😋 and the Icee). Both were good!!!!

Round1 was an absolute blast! 10/10 across the board!!!! We gathered to celebrate my niece’s birthday, and the experience was fantastic. One thing that really stood out to me was the pricing. You pay for a child’s ticket, and the adult ticket is half-off, which is a genius idea. It works perfectly because it encourages families to have fun together without breaking the bank. We had a great time acting like big kids alongside the children, which made the day even more enjoyable. The best part? Everything was included with the ticket purchase, even the arcade games! That added a lot of value and excitement to the day since we could enjoy various activities without worrying about extra costs. The food was tasty, though I’ve had better at other places. However, the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. The staff was friendly and engaging, adding to the positive experience. Their enthusiasm really helped make the day special for both the kids and adults. I highly recommend Round1 for birthday celebrations or just a fun and affordable family outing. We will be back!

I think it really depends on what you're going for. I didn't get to try the side with the obstacle course and active options. The gaming side was very noisy. Duh, you say? I get it. It should be loud. What was interesting to me is that, when I played a game that required me to actually hear the music to do well, it was a challenge to hear it above the cacophony of other sounds. There is a decent variety of games, but I many don't give you good value for the money you spend. My daughter played a game, and it was over in less than 60 seconds, and it was one of the games that cost the most credits. On the other hand, my little one had a good time, I wish there were a few more age appropriate games for them to choose from. If your young one is under 7, I would avoid this side of the center. Overall, I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. I do plan on going back to try the active side on another day.

Google
This is an absolute haven for game loving kids, young and old! From bowling to ALL the claw machines, to giant Hungry Hippo, to arcade games...the list goes on! Went here for a Christmas family get together, ages 17 - 82, and everyone had a blast! *will say that getting an adult beverage took WAY longer than it should have. So one thing to watch out for.

Google
This place sucks!!! The staff acted like they did not want to help us. The restrooms did not have any toilet paper in all of the stalls, which shows the laziness of the staff. We will not be back ever again.

Google
great place for date nights or chilling with your friends. the unlimited play card is definitely worth it if you’re looking to play some more casual games on a budget. the atmosphere is so nice here and their selection of games are the best i’ve ever seen. if you’ve never been here well here’s your sign to do so as round1 is leagues better than the competition.

Google
Played SDVX for some time in my laptop and a friend of mine who is in another country also plays this game a lot, he's the reason why I decided to try the real deal, I thank him and Round 1 because I had hell of a good time although I went alone, I brought my own Konami pass, had no problems at all and if I did was because I didn't remember how to set up a new e-amusement pass but it's very easy, just take your time, highly recommend to try this place even if you go alone just like I did 🫂

Yelp
Maybe it's an addiction, but we all had a great time at the claw machines! The other arcade games are fun, but that would depend on the date/time you go and what you enjoy doing. Like DDR is fun, but people can hog it. Luckily, about 10 of us visited last Friday night around 7/8 pm, and it was relatively empty. There are a lot of games, so definitely try to find a time to come. Lots of games, many plushie options for crane games, we all had fun. Staff came around to restock games pretty often and helped reset some plushies when they moved to a bad location. Everyone was very helpful and quick. There are kiosks to load up cards with credit, but the cashiers that handled it were good and necessary if you load up a certain amount to get additional items (they had two Sanrio lanyards for people who spent $50 or more) or if you want to get a specific card for club membership (Rilakkuma card). They have limited time stuff (I think they had Hololive in October?), so we will definitely return at a later date! There is security at both entrances that scan you, and we planned to eat after, but some friends were a bit hungry, so they went to the mall's food court for a quick bite. There is food at Round1, but it's similar to food court food. The food court is really close, so it's up to food preference at that point. If the food court was farther, maybe not, but it's not. Security will check you again upon reentry, which is good for safety. Some plushies are apparently exclusive to Round1, so on some crane machines, there's a notice to not resell items. You can check the tag of the plushie to see if it's a Round1 exclusive.

Yelp
Love the concept, but VERY disorganized. I hosted a Spo-Cha party at Round1 and the attendees had a great time, but the processes for entry and playing in the Spo-Cha area were cumbersome and designed to suck as much money out of you as possible. They couldn't apply my deposit so I waited for about 30 minutes for them to sort this out, so instead of the party starting at 630pm it started at 7pm...but I had to request that they adjust the time because I paid for 2 hours of time and had spent 30 minutes of it at the check-in desk waiting for someone to "apply my deposit." Another huge hassle was paying for extra guests. This is referring to any guest that was outside of the party headcount. I spent a significant amount of time running to the Spo-Cha entrance to swipe my card to pay for these guests because there is not a way to prepay for them. If you are wondering why I didn't add them to the party headcount, it was because there is a strict time limit for the Spo-Cha party, I didn't want to pay $31 pp for guests who would arrive late or may not attend. Would be nice to be able to purchase this in advance and allow guests to complete waiver online. They also wanted to charge guests to exit if you left the Spo-Cha area after the designated time...similar to what happens if you pick up kids late from daycare...they charge you by the minute. Also note in the Spo-Cha area, they were severely understaffed, so to enter areas like the ninja course or the trampolines, you had to ring a bell and wait for a staff member to come to be the attendant. With a strict time lime on the party, this felt like a loss for guests because some waited 5+ min for attendants after wandering around for about 10 min to find someone to let us know the process. The food was decent. The wings were good, the pizza was a bit too doughy, and the dumplings were just ok according to one of the attendees.

Yelp
It is always a good time at round one they offer bowling, food, games, and also in additional side of the facility has basketball, mini golf, Billards, and other for an additional fee. The food options are limited for example they do not have a plant base Patty option and when we got there to order food, they were out of burgers at around 7:30 PM. The staff is very friendly and the place was very clean. This was my first time coming here in the week and I prefer it to the weekend because it wasn't as crowded so we were able to play a lot more games. They have an unlimited pass that you can purchase for eight dollars and a certain number of games or long as you'd like and that was a good Touch for the adults and party if you're bringing young adults or children. The last time I visited WE and I will come again and do the karaoke package. The only reason they did not get more stars tonight is because I couldn't eat anything as a vegan/vegetarian. Definitely stop by if you'd like some fun I prefer it to their competitor of the road .

Doug T.

Yelp
I don't understand the negative reviews. This place is awesome. It is well-maintained (clean), has excellent service (friendly/helpful staff), and has a wide array of fun activities for all age-groups (so much to do). There are about a dozen or so beers on tap in addition to a full bar as well as an assortment of Japanese food items not typically found in any bowling/arcade in the United States. Many of the arcade games are truly games that are difficult, if not impossible, to find outside of Japan. That said, you will also find lots of arcade games familiar to an American audience. Please don't pay attention to the negative reviews and check it out for yourself. This is the sort of well run, thoughtful entertainment venue that deserves support so we can all enjoy it with our friends and family for years to come!

Yelp
TERRIBLE SERVICE almost no one working the food service area and when I finally asked where my order had been for over an hour he said he simply "forgot" about it. Are you kidding me??? And they made it right then and there so the food wasn't sitting, they literally effing forgot. Incompetent staff and terrible all around. Food was fine I guess but not worth waiting over an hour for... Bar service also sucked the bartender girl did not know what she was doing whatsoever yet treated US like we were stupid. Go figure... Games were great but not like they even maintain them. All the staff seemed so lost I will NOT be returning to this location unless I am in desperate need of sound vortex

Cindy B.

Yelp
We get the unlimited green card and it's a great deal. We love the selection of Japanese rhythm and drift racing games. The karaoke and pool tables and bowling are fun as well and they're down until 2:00 am. We haven't tried the food. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Van D.

Yelp
I LOVE Round One with passion and i love the idea of Spo-Cha but -1 star for mostly lack of enthusiasm from staff and another -1 for rigged claw machines that I still love. And whats up with security checking our bags at the front door?

Danny N.

Yelp
It was okay. It definitely smelled like the the green when we went in there. Probably wouldn't go there past 10. There was a guard posted up at the front with a metal detector. Inside was okay except for all the people running around. Spo cha is definitely cool for a party.

Monte A.

Yelp
There's is no one working the bar for the last two hours since I've been here unbelievable poor service

Dixine H.

Yelp
02/03/24 around 2-4pm I decided to take my two kids since their school was closed due to a water outage. We get there and go to the counter to purchase Game cards and the girl was just looking at us, didn't greet us or anything. I asked her about the tokens and what will be ideal and she starts to help. I bought each child the $22 cards and they were gone for maybe 30 mins. I go to the bar and I had to tell for someone and I asked for a lemon drop and she rudely responds nope ion have no lemon drop and we only got these up here. She proceeded to point to the bottom shelf liquor. I instantly got a headache just from looking at the cheap alcohol and I ordered the cheap cupcake wine and sat my ssa down. I would never come back. My kids feel the same too.

Garrett O.

Yelp
Love this place! Both times we came we interacted with the same staff member. Pretty sure he is a manager. Always on point and very thorough with answering any questions. Love the security check at the front. A safe place is a great place. So many different things to do! Classic and newer (japan based) arcade games. Bowling and also a separate section for different sports (haven't done either yet, but looks fun). The eating area is generally a little dirty at all times and the food is a definitely overpriced, but the ordering kiosk makes it easy to get what you need and go.

Yolanda P.

Yelp
Used this room for my girls banquet. We reserved a group event rate on a Saturday at 1pm. It was about $31 per person. It included game passes for blue and green games, free bowling, the karaoke room, and unlimited drinks and pizza. We arrived early. They tendered us our game they had the reservation in the system. The adult tickets were supposed to come at one free alcohol beverage but it is based on the child adult ratio so there's more kids attending anything you dont tecive the alcohol ticket. The staff was more than accommodating to our needs. The girls enjoyed the bowling. The karaoke was pretty self explanatory. There are plenty of games to keep the kids busy- we went around 1 PM so there wasn't too much of a crowd but as the day went on the crowd started to build. The "host" for our party checked on us and kept the pizza coming. I never thought my group of girls could be out-pizzad there was enough for me to send a few boxes home with parents. I would definitely recommend Round 1. the kids were busy the parents were able to sneak to the mall if need be. The banquet room could hold our trophies and gifts. Great place for a kids party.

Siriboa R.

Yelp
Spo-Cha is a Fantastic value! The kids had a great time, and I felt secure and knowing that they were all in one arena, even if they were all spread out all over the place.

Jayla T.

Yelp
It took nearly an hour to receive food , I only ordered chicken tenders and fries . The line was not long there was multiple staff and still had to wait not to mention there was no bartender at 10pm on a Saturday night and waited an hour only for bartender to come and say she's going on break . This place should be hiring they are severely under staffed and needs new management .

Zakari D.

Yelp
Me and my girlfriend went for an arcade date and had a fantastic time. Most of the games we played were fun but a couple of them either didn't count tickets or just took our points and did not work. The plushie claws were a lot of fun and would recommend winning a couple for your partner. Overall good atmosphere and we definitely would recommend going for a date or just to bring the kids and blow off some steam.

Camia M.

Yelp
Came here for the first time celebrate my friend's son's bday. He was turning 6. We visited on a Wed so it wasn't many people there which was nice because the kids got to play until their hearts were content (and when they ran out of tokens). It was large, clean, and had a ton of games available. It is located at Cumberland Mall so there is plenty of free parking. It's also attached to Spo-Cha so I plan to go back and possibly check that out as well. The only negative thing I have to say is that it was hard to find workers near the food/bar area. No one was around most of the time to help us. We were able to order a pizza eventually. It was ok. I plan to return.

Kiah R.

Yelp
I mostly come here to bowl, its affordable and haven't had to wait for a lane. Bowling area can be cleaner at times that is my only complaint regarding bowling. They have a good amount of games to play like dave & busters or main event but on a smaller scale, the games are fun to play if you want to just come to play games. They have food but I haven't tried it.

Arun K.

Yelp
This arcade is at the Cumberland mall, which is within walking distance from the Renaissance hotel. Did the sports challenge for 3 hours for about 27 dollars after taxes. Used a computer kiosk to purchase the ticket and sign the waiver. Then a friendly lady informed me how to use the facilities and told me when to scan out. I also was given socks to use for the trampoline. The sports challenge had various activities including mini bowling, mechanical bull riding, basketball, putt putt golf, volleyball, roller skates, baseball, and even a small arcade under freeplay. Most of the games I played were working and great condition. It was unlimited play, but please limit to one to two turns at a time if others people are waiting. There was safety gear for the activities, but I didn't see it enforced but (I think they care more if you are being safe). The place was not crowded when I was there around Monday at 12, so enjoyed a lot of the mini bowling and the bull ride. When I was finished, I scanned out and was done. The staff were friendly when I interacted with them. But would love to see more staff to help on showing how some of the activities worked. Overall, was a fun 3 hours for less than 30 bucks. Would love to see one in Orlando as well.

Dante W.

Yelp
I had such high expectations for this place. We came here on a Wednesday so it wasn't very packed, but I asked three times to change the tv channel and no one knew how to do it. Also, I ordered chicken tenders and the gentleman told me they could spin it in the Buffalo sauce, but when I received my order, there was no sauce. There was another guy that stated he doesn't know why the other guy told me that but they don't spin it in sauce. Had I have known that I would have ordered Buffalo wings. As far as bowling, they couldn't figure out how to put us on two lanes so we had to keep 6 of us on one lane, which makes the games much longer. It's just amazing how it's not many people here and the staff couldn't accommodate small things like changing channels and fixing lanes. Hopefully it was just an off night ‍

Luis Enrique R.

Yelp
The food service in trash I been here 3 times and today is the first time I decided to eat here and the machine won't let me pay or give me tickets because they're out of paper , I called somebody so they could take my order nicely and the lady in a bad mood or attitude says that she is going to break , she can't help me & I need to wait 35 mins until everybody else gets back from break !!! Definitely not eating in this place ever again !!

Cindy Denise D.

Yelp
This used to be the go to spot to take the kids for a fun night out. Our past 2 visits have been horrible and will be our last time returning. They are extremely short staff causing multiple areas in the Spo-Cha unlimited play area to be closed. I payed $94 dollars for 2 adults and 2 children to enter the unlimited play area. The trampoline area was closed due to no staff to supervise. The bowling area did not have any balls to play bowling, only 1 of the 4 massage chairs is operable, the rodeo bull never works. Ended up getting a refund as it was not worth the money for my son to only play basketball and my nephew to play in the kiddie playground. They do have unlimited play of the video games but they're all dated games. This place needs some serious help or they will not last long.

Ta'keisha R.

Yelp
This place was ok. I took my nephews ages 4-12 and the older boys def had a lot of fun. We were in the part of the center with the activities and didn't play in the arcade. My younger nephew is 4 and autistic and didn't have nearly as much fun. He wanted to get on the trampoline and skate, both were closed during our time. I also didn't like that I had to pay for myself when I didn't do any of the activities. I'd go back with the older boys but it wouldn't be my first choice

Danny W.

Yelp
Came here for date night to enjoy some bowling since there's usually good atmosphere. I've come here quite a bit, and it's unfortunate that I'll have to come all the way to this location since the one at Stonecrest Mall shut down, but it's all good because it's still fun. The only reason why I'm giving my rating a 4-star is because of the confusing ordeal of whether or not you can bring food and drinks to the bowling area. Signs say not to, but people still do it, and it's not being enforced, so can you actually?

Shayla F.

Yelp
We hosted a double birthday party for my son (6) and godson (5) in March and they had a blast. Although we were not in favor of the parent charge requirement for chaperoning their children we very much appreciated the staff particularly Sheila for making the experience as well as it could be! I wish I knew the names of the gentlemen who helped take down not one but two of our balloons that flew into the rafters. You guys rock! Thanks Sheila for being an awesome host!

Tameka B.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME... perfect family place to enjoy. They have skating, basketballs, bowling, power bikes, kids zones, soccer, arcades, volleyball, golf, and so much more. You can pay a $5 Annual Membership fee and receive discounts. The FUN ZONE I like to call it is so worth it. You can get unlimited pay on arcade games and all events there for $28 NM, $26 Members. They do have 90 minutes or 180 minute time frames also.

Payton C.

Yelp
Security refused us entry stating that after midnight you had to be 25+ to enter. No where on their printed rules does it say that, the rules said that after 10pm it was 21+. Is this some new policy?

Michelle G.

Yelp
A good place to get up and out with the kids. They have a plenty games for all ages. Only objective is customer service sucks for the Sho-Cho side.

TaNasia L.

Yelp
This is a nice family place to go to. They have unlimited bowling , alright prices, and great pizza. Now with the arcade games you got to pay a lot if you want to play a lot. The games don't all cost the same amount of tickets but I t think that's with every place. They really vary. I think the customer service should've been at the front because when you walk in the set up is confusing. You have to go to the back just to meet someone who works there. There are a few cool employees there. It's in the mall so if you're done playing you can go shop. I would just suggest going to the Main Event unless you're looking for someplace closer.

Imani J.

Yelp
Went to go get points added to my play card and the cashier added 700 points to my play card which is worth 100 dollars when I said I wanted 110 points which were worth 22 dollars. When I told her she made a mistake she called her manager and her manager told me that there was nothing that she could do since I swiped the card. The cashier was a sweet lady but the manager didn't provide any type of customer service and just was like there's nothing that I can do about it even though it was the cashier's fault. The schedule says they close at 2:00 AM they turned the readers off at 1:40.

Nina P.

Yelp
Bowling was really fun and the games were good. They have A game area with what looked like it had indoor sports like basketball and soccer. The game card price isn't bad and the process is easy, no human interaction just a kiosk. Great arcade games like multiple multi player racing including Mario cart, and random ticket games as well, but all claw machines were off except for one. You can cash in tickets for prizes.

Jayla K.

Yelp
This place is so stingy and selfish with their stuff. They have an all you can eat pizza but won't lets you use the all you can eat because they MAKE you wait 45 minutes for one box of pizza after giving you drinks and plates. NO CUPS. Thier drinks are watered down so much and they taste like shit. this is ridiculous

Dara G.

Yelp
Horrible service when it comes to food and beverage that was a young lady that was working there, who clearly was in a full argument with the manager that looked like they were dating she was beyond rude and when speaking to the manager "her boyfriend" he dismissed us and said she was not referring to us when talking about customers place was amazing but the bar staff and management skinny guy with glasses is horrible!

Geremy P.

Yelp
Damn half the prize games had no prizes and a lot of the ticket games were faulty or not working at all. Spend money elsewhere if you go for these 2 things.

Ebonie Q.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were looking for some late night fun. We couldn't find anything good in theaters and decided to try Round1 Atlanta. There's something for everyone here from video games to bowling, a jumping trampoline, full bar and so much more. It definitely reminds me of Main Event. The only difference is they have more video games, and lots of games from Japan. Here you will find all of your favorite video games but also something that you've never tried before. We did notice somethings that we did not like. Just like Main Event and other arcade venues whenever you play a game you ability to have multiple players, get points / tokens and earn high scores. Well we noticed that many of the games we played did not accurately report our scores or report our scores at all. A lot of the games seemed as if they didn't even work properly which felt like a waste of money. For us this is a major con since we are very competitive. . Overall Our experience was just okay. We would defiantly try other arcades before coming back here. Pros: Large venue with a variety of games. Open late I think until 2 AM on the weekends.Security on site. Most people wore masks and stayed 6 feet apart. Cons: Most of the games we played did not work properly and or did not record our score properly. The venue has carpet which may just be a personal con but it's still a little gross considering the amount of people that come in and out of the venue and the cleanliness of the venue.

Round1 S.

Yelp
After 10pm it is 21+ only. Even 18+ can't get in! I can go fight in a war for my country and pay my taxes but I can't go bowling. Makes sense!!

Cornelius R.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible horrible awful management. Denise and Brian are both so extremely rude and unprofessional. Nearly half the attraction are always down. We come here once a month because we run a small orphanage in Cobb County. The kids love this place but, after this horrible continued bad service. I really don't know if we're ever coming back.

Tia P.

Yelp
Awesome place! Started out with arcades only on one side. Then unlimited arcade/games on the other side. Should have just done the unlimited to begin with. Batting cages, volleyball so fun, pool tables, and arcades. Love the amount of arcades they have. So much fun! My sons are usually hard to please but everyone enjoyed it. Will definitely be back!

Drips D.

Yelp
Close train staff start again !! Thanks in Advance!! 0 Stars if I could !! P.S. Ask to get the tables cleaned before sitting

Lisa P.

Yelp
Never been but looks fun. Stays open late too! I like ping pong but not all locations offer it.

Bri J.

Yelp
What type of place doesn't allow anyone under the age of 25 to come in their establishment after 12pm? 21 is a logical age cutoff, but 25? I'm old enough to go to the strip club and have naked people dance in my face, but I can't go bowling past 12pm?! Stupid as hell.

Helen L.

Yelp
I waited an hour for the manager to help me and she ignored me. They fucked up the amount of credits that was supposed to go in my card and she couldn't take 5 mins to fix it. I hope she gets fired! How the fuck you a manager but can't help customers out? I still didn't get help so I left.

Khaliah B.

Yelp
I had a birthday party for my son at this location, the staff was amazing! Very helpful and professional

Yelp
The man with two nose piercings (In the concession stand) is SUPER professional and gets our food to us as quick as possible. Whenever I go there I look for him cause if you see him. You're gonna get what you pay for but the older man with gold teeth is kind of rude and he ignores the customers.

Yelp
I love all of the amenities that they offer. There is a wide array of activities to partake in. The pizza is actually really good and seems to be very high quality as well. The staff was very helpful and have no problem assisting me at any point in time. child friendly and would definitely recommend for family outings of all ages. The environment was also very clean and the staff seemed to take pride in what they presented to the patrons. I will be attending again. 10/10. would definitely recommend

Yelp
I am a 69 year old grandmother who brought my two grandkids here and they made me pay ($50) for myself to watch the kids play. We decided to order some food but none of the hand sanitizer stations we're working. I was told that I could always go in the bathroom and use some good old soap and water. I paid $23 for 3 drinks, 1 slice of pizza 2 orders of fries and nachos. They didn't even have regular nacho chips, no ketchup for the fries. Not worth the money. I feel like I was ripped off.

Yelp
Round2 at Round1 -- my first impression has not changed. Great arcade, great selection of Japanese-imported games. This time around my friends ordered a pizza which I can only describe as *really thick* and nourishing, I'd give a 7/10, above average for a place like this. Came at a Sunday afternoon, so expectedly the place is pretty full. For those rhythm gamers (and honestly any arcade gamer) out there -- this is the place you want to be.

Yelp
Lots to do ! Fun Only thing is no te-entry to the sports area and food expensive. Would return

Yelp
Fun enough place, but management and staff are horrendous. Nothing is ever wiped down, staff is lazy, slow and apathetic. Service is terrible. Only place I have ever been that charges for water cups, which is a joke given I spent over $80 for an hour inside.
