Player One Arcade Pub Opening on Buford Highway | Eater Atlanta

"Soon to open somewhere along Buford Highway just north of the perimeter, Player One Arcade Pub is being launched by Atlanta-based Player One Arcade Services; owners Nick Mizgala and Angela Pratt Mizgala say they're close to finalizing the property. Details are sketchy, but once open they plan to offer vintage arcade games such as Street Fighter and Ms. Pac-Man, beer, and food that can easily be eaten while playing—think sliders—because they intend to have a kitchen serving their own food rather than rely on pop-up restaurants or bar snacks. Pratt Mizgala says, “We are breaking away from the game bar template,” explaining that when people get “a little drunk and hungry” they often have to leave to get a meal. The couple got started in the vintage arcade game repair business in 2015 after Avondale Estates comic shop and bar My Parents’ Basement hired them to create a Nintendo cabinet and a Digdug Multicade, and they also rent games to other bars and events around town." - Beth McKibben

This Round 1 is located in a mall that has less than 3 restaurants in its food court and has almost no store left inside. The mall is extremely dead, rotting away and even the local “pop up” stores don’t seem to be able to remain. The round 1 itself is also showing signs of decay or effects from what it’s attached to. The temperature inside was very warm, a giveaway sign that the air conditioning is not performing as it should be or is set lower by management to budget. This makes it difficult to remain for a longer periods. Impossible to play the high activity rhythm games without bringing a personal fan. It seemed like they were bringing in new machines which is a good sign but may be too little too late for this location. The bathrooms here are rough, the men’s room toilet seats seemed as if they had all been sanded down and were not smooth at all. My partner stated the women’s room was in complete disarray but said the toilet seats them self were not altered like the men’s. Overall this location is very open, yet empty. It does not provide the ideal round 1 environment and I recommend going to the Lancaster location instead.

A lot of fun for kids and adults. Games for all ages including pool tables, ping pong tables, and bowling lanes. And reasonable food prices with plenty of options.

I’ve visited Round1 Bowling & Arcade at Exton Square a few times, especially when my relatives and children come over to my place. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a wide variety of activities including bowling, arcade games, and karaoke. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the experience enjoyable for families and kids alike. It’s a perfect spot for group outings, parties, or casual fun. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, though it can be a bit costly. Overall, it’s a reliable and entertaining destination for family fun.

This indoor attraction offers an exceptional experience for individuals aged five and above. I have personally enjoyed my visits, both with my family and with my significant other, consistently finding it to be an exciting venue. Our most recent visit, celebrating my son's 11th birthday, was a resounding success, with all participants thoroughly enjoying the bowling and arcade facilities. The culinary offerings are commendable, and I particularly appreciate the diverse menu selections catering to both vegan and pescetarian preferences. Despite a busy evening on October 11th, 2025, due to staffing shortages, I wish to commend the dedicated team who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and commitment. Their diligent efforts ensured that every customer received excellent service, despite the challenging circumstances. While I am an external observer, I believe their outstanding performance, including that of the security personnel, warrants formal recognition. Their work was truly exemplary.

This was our first time visiting Round 1, and we were really impressed! The place is huge and has so much to do for both kids and adults — from bowling and arcade games to claw machines, karaoke rooms, pool tables, and even food. You can easily spend two to three hours here (like we did!) and completely lose track of time. We also had the pleasure of meeting Scott (I believe he was a manager), and he was amazing! So friendly, energetic, and charismatic. He helped us with our card and even gave us a courtesy game, which made our night. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely makes your experience better, but Scott did exactly that. We had a great time and will definitely be back — highly recommend Round 1 for a fun family outing or even a casual night out! **My only negative: The bathrooms, I used the familyb athroom because the women's was being cleaned. It was smelly and sticky and not cleaned very well. My boy's said the men's bathroom was just as bad, I would suggest giving the bathrooms a major cleaning and hourly checks.

Had a wonderful experience. Plenty of games to play for all skill levels. Buffalo wings were good, but has a kick. You can only be board if you want to be.

Google
This place was amazing. Went here with family and let's just say they had more games then I ever knew existed. Bowling was fun too. Place was very clean.

Google
We just had our daughters 4th birthday today at Round1 in Exton and our overall experience was awesome! We feel that it was a great value for the price. Our daughter and the kids had a wonderful time and so did the adults. The staff was extremely helpful and easy going and had a great "Just have Fun!" attitude. We want to give a special shout out to Ziaya( Sorry if the spelling is not correct) She went above and beyond and was a pleasure to work with. She deserves a raise along with her associate with the dreads lol!!! **The only negative thing we experienced was that the management was very unprofessional towards their employees and we witnessed them yelling at their employees multiple times throughout our 2 hour time slot there. If you need to reprimand an employee you should do it in private not for all to see.

Yelp
Coming here for awhile, both the staff and I seem to have a groove for how things run. Good Saturday night crowd but I am able to still do what I want to do. There probably could be more staff but they are doing well with what they have. Quality of food is typical but expected fun of Round 1.

Yelp
Decided to go bowling and the nearest was Round1. This location was once JCPenney. Pricing to bowl was better than most locations we checked. Decided on spending 90 minutes bowling. Ambience was great. Lots of other fun games you also can play. Great place for events, birthdays etc. enjoyed our time and will likely return to do it all over again.

Yelp
Cool spot when you're looking for something fun and different to do. It was relatively clean and the staff were all very friendly. Not much diversity when it comes to game options. Bowling and karaoke rooms are available to use if you book them. The food and drink prices were reasonable for a place like that. Definitely cheaper than other amusement places like that. The one thing that was unexpected was the theme. It's all Japanese themed. Claw machines and prizes are only Japanese cartoons and products. This was really cool to see but just unexpected. Come earlier with kids. Younger 20's crowd comes around 8 on the weekends

Yelp
We had a work event for our clients with intellectual disabilities. It went so well! The staff were so friendly.

Yelp
This place is horribly ran. Every time I come here there are new people working. It's obvious why. It's 9pm and they are open until 2am. But all of the people who can serve alcohol went on break for an hour. At the same fu@%!ng time! Even the food got shut down. In the prime time for bar patrons and food service and every thing is shut down for an hour so everyone can go on break at the same time. I will never come back here ever again. Although it won't matter for long. Someone bought all this property. Round one is the final round. Game over. Don't waste your time here. Go to Arnold's. They are 100 times better!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice place to hang out on a Saturday. Bowling was fun and the staff was quick to help when we had issues. Prices were fine. The only annoying thing was the staff calling over the speaker when your food was ready.
google avatar

Kimberly K.

Yelp
My fiancé and I love going here. It makes us feel like kids again! Great spot for children and adults to have some fun.
google avatar

Yelp
Wooohooo!! Finally got myself a Yoshi! This place mimicks Japanese sega UFO catcher and photo booth as well as Japanese imported games like Initial D racer. The place has ticket games too and the prizes are wayyy better than Dave and buster. Although the price per game is quite expensive and it doesn't seem like there is discounts much or happy hours. Recommend they do something like Wednesday night at D+B Bowling alley is here too. Never tried their food but you can order typical American stuff if you're hungry. Come check it out
google avatar

Sajeeb A.

Yelp
I can only speak to the arcade, I have not tried their games or food. This place is HUGE and unbelievably clean. They off 1 he unlimited deals for certain games. The best part is they are not busy at all until the evening, what a gem so close to home.
google avatar

Daniel W.

Yelp
Round1 is always a nice place to have fun and game at. It has a large arcade and many bowling alleys. Round1 is a great place to go bowling with your friends and family. Have fun!
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
I was waiting on the crane machine because there was a mini line for it. When it was my turn, I put in my money through the card and the machine took my money. I tried it again and with no luck. Then I walked over to another machine & that machine did the same thing! I went to the front desk and the front desk told me very rudely that I couldn't get a refund until they check the cameras. WHAT?! Overall I wouldn't recommend coming here because some of the machines don't really work and the staff here are kind of rude and doesn't like to talk it out with customers. They also tried to scam me out of card which had $100 in it. No refunds they said! 2 stars because I liked the music & ambience in the arcade + racing games were really fun!
google avatar

Lam L.

Yelp
The environment in this place is very quiet and slow for an arcade place. The staff isn't very friendly. We got a beer and there was limited selection and the guy that was serving us was annoyed that we were even speaking to him like he had to get up and grab us a beer.
google avatar

Zac H.

Yelp
I've been a few times and they have a decent selection, but since they have reopened they have a lot of machines down. They purposefully have every other machine down for social distancing, but there were multiple places where 3 or 4 machines in a row were down. The employees are all wearing masks and there are several places around the store with hand sanitizer available.

Willow C.

Yelp
This place is super fun, the employees are helpful, and there's a lot to do. However a lot of the games are VERY expensive and you have to get there at certain times to beat the high prices.

Joseph M.

Yelp
Had a terrible experience last night with the manager I don't know her name short blond hair with glasses she gave my pregnant wife a bad attitude over a table and was super rude to me cause we ordered a bunch of food. Spent around $1000 there between food game cards and karaoke. The rest of the staff was amazing though very nice to the food was okay it's an arcade can't expect anything fancy but other then that had a great time. The manager there was just a grumpy rude person. Give me an attitude that's cool I can deal with it. But a pregnant woman not nice

Eu G.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience at this place last Sunday. Went to cafeteria to buy some drinks for kids. Stood there for some time until an angry man came by and asked me what I wanted in a very rude fashion. I explained to him, that first of all, I've been standing here a long time and that they have a poor service. The place, by the way, at the time was about 10% occupied, totally empty. And secondly, there's no way to talk to a customer in such a tone. The man looked about 5.7, heavy, with long beard. He said he was a manager and short on staff. I insisted that he should treat customers with respect regardless of issues with his employees. He started yelling at me and his anger kept increasing. And suddenly he slammed drinking cups on the counter right where I was standing with such force that everyone around freaked out. Some even started recording what was happening. His face changed, he looked not normal nor stable and out of control. He definitely has issues.

Yelp
No one is working at the food counter, soda machine is broken, bowling lane does not have a flat surface. Do not recommend

Kobra I.

Yelp
Alright place but kids ruined it and now the workers hover around you while you bowl and it's very uncomfortable

Michele S.

Yelp
I was really surprised by Round 1. After reading just a few reviews I wasn't sure I even wanted to go but I am glad we did. The place was really big and really a lot of fun. I did see some machines that were not working but I was able to play and win on a lot of other ones. Prize room was good better than Lancaster location. Worker in prize room was not very friendly but o.k. Overall I would recommend this place

Yelp
I'm not familiar with the bowling or bar area, but the arcade is an impressive size with variety, and I think I've only ever encountered one or two out-of-order machines. I have several complaints, though: 1. There's good (in my opinion) music playing in the airlock, but once one gets inside, the games' collective volume is far too loud, so one can't hear the music at all. 2. One has to buy a credit-sized card and load it with funds to use the machines, so the satisfying "plunk" of inserting coins is gone. (There are some things that simply shouldn't be digital, and arcades are one of them.) 3. Some machines take fractions of credits instead of a whole number of them, so it's almost impossible to exactly use up the credits on your card. (I assume this is intentional, which makes it even crummier.) 4. The games' prices are ridiculous. Painfully high. Exorbitant. Highway robbery. Absurd. I could go on, but you get the idea. That's probably another reason for the credit cards: if you used quarters and, therefore, realized how much a single game cost, you'd barely play anything. 5. The crane/prize machines' instructions are confusing (even when found in the not-so-noticeable spots in which they're posted). Then, once deciphered, some of them are set up in ways that render the instructions impossible to follow. (E.g. "pick up the black ball to win" but the only balls in the machine are white and orange.) And, finally... 5. There isn't a single pinball machine. Therefore, this entire review is moot because--guess what?--Round 1 isn't actually an arcade, after all. Too bad. It was showing such promise.

Yelp
This place is great! It is a nice feeling knowing that there are security cameras covering every inch of the arcade floor. I'm able to relax and let the kids run around with their own cards. A great experience if you are looking for a summer activity out of the sun.

Alex J.

Yelp
Searching for the Exton location of Round1, you come upon a preponderance of negative reviews. People complain about the food, the staff, the machines, the noise, seemingly everything is an issue here. I realize I can only speak for myself and my experiences, but I've been here 3 different times for parties, and every time my expectations were exceeded. The first two experiences were with birthday parties to which my child was invited. Everything ran smoothly from my perspective and my child had such a good time, they wanted to have their next birthday party there. The third experience was my child's birthday party, and the staff at Round1 went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The schedule was perfect, the kids had an exceptional experience, and my youngest who couldn't care less about video games had so much fun. I want to specifically single out staff members Tony and Josh, who both made sure our party ran smoothly and even helped me out of a jam with the swipe cards. It's definitely not the cheapest event to have, but considering the smiles on faces, it was more than worth it. You're going to read reviews that reference broken machines and rude staff, but I can say we did not experience any of this. I'd give it six stars if I could.

Linda B.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and bowling for our son's birthday and will NEVER go back, you couldn't pay me. The entire staff needs to be replaced or the place needs shutting down. It is dirty and disgusting, torn up taped up but torn up again bowling seats, nasty bathrooms. No tips on pool cues for over a year. People bringing their own booze and smoking in the back billiards area. Very poor food and beverage service. We were bowling while they were announcing the countdown to concessions closing at 9:30 (they are open until 2 am! Why closing food and drinks so early??) so we quit bowling to go eat and there was no food available. Then why are you announcing the food is closing soon when you already shut down the grill and pizza oven?? I said "are you f-ing kidding me?" and the little troll called security to escort me out. If I had the time to waste I would sue you.
google avatar

Charlie B.

Yelp
Great time bowling and the was staff very helpful and pleasant. Many games and crowds were manageable.

Sam M.

Yelp
Security threw me out for being too drunk! Couldn't believe it, I understand I wasn't able to walk straight but to be fair the bowling lanes are at an angle and not flat. Anyone could have slipped and fallen. If I had the time I would sue.

Laura P.

Yelp
I brought 13 - 9 year olds to the Exton location. It was a Thursday afternoon the facility was not crowded at all. In the two hours I was there I spent around $700 and experienced less than adequate service/help. 1. I purchased the all you can play $14.99 deal for each girl. The cashier rung the transaction incorrectly. The employee realized his mistake a 1/2 hour after the transaction took place. He tracked me down and wanted to do a refund and recharge the me for everything all over again. It should be noted it was a $12.87 difference in their favor. This was not worth the time it takes to redo the transaction. They were slow. 2. When it was time to use the karaoke room we received no assistance or help to set up the technology. When we asked for assistance we were told "The guy that does karaoke isn't here so we don't know what to do." We were not able to to use the karaoke room. 3. I stood at the food service counter for 20 minutes to purchase 13 cups for drinks. There was no other customer there. The lady working the counter was making a pizza and ignoring me. The three other employees were corralled at the bowling register chatting. I asked them if they could help me and they said "You have to talk to the lady at food service area." I had to be rude to get her attention. 4. During our time bowling, there were many technical difficulties. Every time there was a problem with the lane we had to wait for an employee to come resolve the issue. This ate into the time that we paid for. 5. Because we experienced so many problems and such slow customer service we weren't able to enjoy all of the facilities. 6. When I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was told "No one is available." Overall, the staff was slow, unequipped and demonstrated poor customer service. It appeared as if they were unaware how to troubleshoot any issues and tried to avoid customers. It should also be noted that the other parents there shared past experiences they have had at the Exton Round 1 and said they would never recommend the place. So not only did I have a bad experience but other parents have as well. The Exton Round 1 has quite the reputation.
google avatar

Yelp
Expensive and terrible staff. They don't explain anything and just short change you. Waste of money - go somewhere else!
google avatar

Alli T.

Yelp
We are here from Florida visiting family my kids wanted to do something fun. We have a similar bowling/arcade place where we live and this one does not disappoint. My older son was happy that this was full size bowling and not mini bowling like at the place at home. There's a lot of fun arcade games to keep my younger one occupied. Everything is kept up fairly well, we ran into no issues during our time here. Both kids were very happy with their experience and would like to come back

Yelp
This was my 1st visit to this place. When i first entered, it looked like a casino, with all the lights and sounds going off. We came to this video game place, because of my 5 year old nephew. All he wanted to do is play video games. So my sisters-in-law, said if we wanted to join, just to meet at round 1 Exton. The first thing we had to do in order to play any of the games, was to purchase a play card. Instead is using cash, just swipe. Very expensive !Long story short, total damage to my bank account $160 OMG!! I didn't even get to play! I let my 22 year old and my 20 year old play. They also have a store to purchase items based on the points on your swipe card. To be honest for all the money we spent, there was nothing of value to really get with the points on your card. They have huge grab bar games, bowling and video games. Very expensive , but if you have the skill to win the items in the grab claw games. Got for it. The items in the claw game are uniquely cool. This place is very clean. This place also has a bar , ping pong tables and pool tables to enjoy.

Yelp
First of all, I drove 3 hours to this place all the way from Northern Virginia because I wanted to play IIDX Cannon Ballers. Definitely worth the drive. This place got loads of rare music games arcade machines and clearly deserves 5 stars unlike many other typical useless arcades in the East coast. But unfortunately, right when I walk in this place to the main counter. This one employee with mustache seems to be one of the managers confronted me when he saw my tripod (which I simply wanted to record my IIDX gameplay) This guy basically told me that if I ever use my tripod to record videos or document anything inside this arcade then he have the right to kick me out from this place. I was surprised then I replied him that I just want to record a gameplay with my digital camera. But he still refused and told me unless I ask their district manager for a permission ahead of time then I can record videos. But he also said, it's no problem if I record or take photos via smartphones. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever... At this point, I didn't even bother to tell him that I drove all the way from VA to spend good amount of money playing music games but I had to deal with this ignorant, hostile manager who gave me bs policy ? Very disappointing. There were literally nobody around to play those music arcade games at all the entire time I was there (Thursday 11am - 5pm 5/25) I end up being clever enough and able record gameplay videos without tripod. Though, the angle wasn't nearly as good with tripod assistance, of course. Probably time for me to go back to Round 1 Ikebukuro in Tokyo. All the staffs there were proper human being, friendly and treat customers reasonably well. But for Round 1 Exton, such a marvelous arcades spot but it's tainted by that unprofessional manager who clearly need a new job. These expensive, extravagant music games arcade machines deserves a better home than this place.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
Fun place to hang out with friends or go on dates! They're open late and have plenty of things to do. Some games are only in Japanese so you'll have to guess what to do but still fun. The ufo catcher games have gotten more difficult but the plushies are adorable! Items from the prize room are also super cute!
google avatar

Kurt P.

Yelp
I hate this place. Reason is this place should be great, it is everything you could ever hope for in an arcade/entertainment venue. The have amazing arcade games, the claw machines are great prizes in them. The have games that you cant find any where else in the country. They have bowling, they have fun photo booths, they have karaoke. It is everything you could want if that is what your interested in. The problem is this place is ran horrible, I don't know if its the managers that work there, or if it is a corporate thing. There is never any staff working that I can find. I see more people working at Wawa than I do here. The employees that i can find are miserable & unprofessional. After several trip there I have numerous complaints. For as new as this place is there are a lot of broken machines, every time I go there a game I want to play is broken. Last time I went Monster Drop Chaos, Fishbowl Frenzy, and Gold Fishin were all no working, the time before that Golden Empire was not working. The employees try to avoid work, I have seen them walk in the opposite direction after making eye contact with me, I have been in the prize center for 15 to 20 minutes with no one coming over to help me. If you need someone to help you get a prize out of a machine, you are out of luck, I have resorted to taking pictures on my phone and having to go track some one down. That leads me to my last complaint. The UFO catchers can be set up in a impossible way to win the prize. I think because the employees are work adverse they set the prizes up in a way that they can be impossible to win sometimes. The way that the machines work here is the prize is set up where you have to knock it in the prize chute, they are not like typical claw machines. Some times the prizes are pushed down into the holders so they will not move at all. If you ask a worker to help you if you can find one, I have been told no. This place is also very expensive, In my experience it is the most expensive arcade around, I am not considering that a negative, I knew that before I went there for the first time. Most games cost 6 to 10 credits on average with the average being around 8. twenty dollars will get you 92 credits, so that's only around 11 games you get to play. In conclusion i would recommend any of the Dave and Busters or other arcades in the area over this instead. If you must have the cute cat plush, go to amazon instead it will be a cheaper and more pleasurable experience instead.

Yelp
Albeit being an hour outside the city, this is the mother of arcades! If you're willing to drive, this has all the popular and regular games that D&B has plus tons more including actual Japanese arcade games (the words are in Japanese as well but you'll figure it out) and the main attraction is probably the crane games with extremely cute plushies that are of official Disney, Sanrio, NFL, Nintendo, and many other brands! The crane games are addicting and can add up which makes them expensive. It looks like there's deals on bowling, regular arcade games. And karaoke. There's also ping pong! The staff are extremely nice and helpful. They will restock the plushies or move them to the correct position if you ask. A lot of high quality photo booth machines especially the Japanese ones which are so adorable. The food is actually not bad and drinks are so affordable! Definitely recommend, great for dates, double dates, bdays, and it's next to the mall. Guaranteed fun for everyone :)

Yelp
Expensive, half the machines were broken, very strange staff. First time we were here and the "Lead" Bob acted like we were disturbing him. We bought a "Member Club" for an extra $6 - but we can't reload getting our benefits using the convenient kiosk, instead members have to stand in a long line to reload the card (not that we did)! They have bottled beer, only to pour it into a thin plastic cup ... why not only serve draft beer... I was a bit disappointed.... the only way I was hoping to get thru this nightmare was by coping with alcohol. The security guard could be be taken down by a 5 year old. He gave me a creepy look as I was throwing something out.... for was looking over my back the entire time! And just in case you're wondering, no they don't take AMX. I will never come back.

Yelp
I want to like this place, I really do but after several times I've been here, I want to address these complains: - Every time I walk to the counter to add credits to my card, I see employees see me walking towards them then they walk away. This happens every single time. Now I stand there like an idiot waiting when there's no one around. (pictures provided) - There's also been a time when I'm next in line then this employee of yours walks away. Like come on, can't you take care of me first before you do whatever it is you gotta do? Rude as hell. - In the claw machines, it says you can ask for a Round 1 associate to reset the prize to default position when it's stuck. We asked, only to be told that we have to deal with it because that's just the way it is. NO, other branch locations have no problem doing this for us. - Just as their claw machines are all stuck and dug in, alot of their arcade machines are not working. Really want to try that Silent Hill arcade that never worked.

Yelp
I've been trying to convince EVERYONE I know that we should take a day trip out to Exton to spend a day at Round1, the Japanese arcade with not enough locations in the US. You can EASILY spend several, several hours at Round1 because they offer so many activities like: 1) ARCADE GAMES - They have TONS of games available that span a lot of different genres. Do you want an immersive shooting experience? Open the door to one of many of the pod games and take in the huge screens and surround sound. Do you have kids and want to play more cartoonish, family-friendly games? There are plenty of those. Do you like racing your friends? You can play games where you race them in cars, on bikes, on skis, and more. They also have a large Japanese rhythm game section, with DDR and dance games as well as other games that rely on you doing something to the rhythm. There are classics like the Big Game Hunting one and basketball and skeeball and Time Crisis and more, but also popular franchises like Halo and Jurassic Park and Star Wars and MarioKart. They also have a ton of games that yield tickets that you can exchange for a prize if that is more your type of gameplay! I also loved that you can either pay for credits (most games cost between 3-6 credits) or time (many games are available to play with the time card with a few exceptions). Our strategy was to put about an hour on some cards, play as much as we could (often running around to get the card from another person, as you can swipe once every 90 seconds), and then getting a card with credits to play the machines we weren't able to with the time alone. ALSO, near the food they have a lot of older games, like Mortal Kombat, that are totally worth checking out if you love retro gaming. 2) CLAW MACHINES GALORE - There are 2 types of claw machines, as I learned visiting Round1: the type that are actually claws, wherein you need to grab the prize you want and drop it down the chute, and the UFO machines where you need to push a prize that is wedged near the chute down. (Deceptively simple!) This is a very easy way to use up your credits but the prizes are very cute and fun and there are definitely winners. If your UFO prize is not in the position that is advertised (with a guide to where you should hit it to win it), an employee can help you reset it so you have a fair chance at getting it. 3) KARAOKE - The karaoke rates for the small rooms here are amazing. $17 per hour for a really large room that seats up to 6 but could easily have standing room for 10 people. The song selection was also really great - they have modern hits and all the most sing-along-able hits from Hamilton so honestly I was blown away here. (You can choose songs by artist or by song name.) I had low expectations for the karaoke room and they were way exceeded. Just note that you can't bring your alcohol in here. 4) BOWLING AND MORE - We didn't bowl but they have bowling available and you get your shoes from a machine, which looked really nifty! I saw a lot of folks having tons of fun bowling for hours. They also have ping pong and other activities we didn't even have time to check out. 5) FOOD AND DRINK - The food is very...... meh but you're not here for the food. It will tide you over when you're feeling hungry, though, and they offer a decent enough selection! The beer pricing seemed really reasonable, which surprised me. 6) JAPANESE PHOTO BOOTHS - How could I almost forgot to mention the multiple photobooths in the corner, which let you take a bunch of photos and then edit them in the booth with special effects and stickers. It's a fun souvenir of your time that you can create with your friends. Basically I want every gathering and party from now on to be here and I hope they open a Round1 closer to me soon!

Yelp
HORRIBLE place. Half the games are broken, half of the "working" games just take your money and then don't work. Every crane game is an absolute scam. Don't even waste your time

Yelp
People working were rude and would not serve us. We came from out of town and we're excited to visit this place. I do not recommend this place to families or adults. Hopefully they get better employees soon.

Yelp
NOT ALL INCLUSIVE AT ALL!! I would give NO STARS if I could. Terrible customer service. I took a special needs group to go bowling. We were told they HAD to wear bowling shoes. That's complete nonsense! Round 1 is NOT all inclusive. The place needs to go! Not taking into account that some people with special needs have a thing about shoes is terrible. It's like they are saying they don't care about people. No wonder Dave and Busters is so much better!

Yelp
This is a great venue to take the kids or a date for young people. Bowling, arcade, karaoke, billiards. Took 4 grandsons ages 11 to 16 had a great time! They do have food, but we didn't have time to check that out.

Yelp
Great Arcade with plenty of Japanese game choices! Compared to Dave & Buster, I prefer this place more. Japanese machines are made better (in my opinion) and the genre and style suit better for myself and my friends. The facility is located at a very vacant mall. It is very big and can probably fit more games. (PLEASE BRING JUBEAT HERE!). They have a lot of crane/claw machines with ridiculously cute/Japanese-authentic crane prizes. They have Hello Kitty, Rilakkuma, Alpicasso, Doraemon, Yoshi from Mario, etc. It is every girl's and kid's favorite section for sure! In each crane machine, they set up two prizes (one on each side) right near the hole. The difficulty would depend on the plush's position and how stuck it is between the holders. You can get it from just ONE try and up to 10 tries. Most of the crane machine are 8 credits. 6 credits for the small ones, we stayed away from those. It's super addicting and exciting. My group spent majority of our time and money on these cranes. PS: The game, SoundVoltex, is super popular among the guys who are experts at it. There are two machines and they seem to be occupied with a couple people waiting in line all the time. The cost of the games is average, it would probably be best if you catch their 1/2 credit weekday special on some machines. I really wish I live closer to this arcade but it's worth the drive for maybe 1-2 times a year.

Yelp
I am writing this review as I walk out of the place. I cannot overstate how bad of an experience my two friends and I had at this place. The manager Ryan was anything but helpful, condescending when we explained many games didn't work (which I am happy to name) and refused any sort of refund for most of the points we swiped to play games on features that did not work. This is my first negative Yelp review I have ever written. Definitely try Dave and Busters instead- much more worth it.

Yelp
I visited Round1 in October and the bar staff were committed to the Halloween experience. The only costume the first bartender wore was that of a competent bartender and in terms of Halloween, I am sure the dead could move significantly faster. We had maybe twenty people there and everyone had to wait an extended period of time for drinks. The average time was probably fifteen minutes and it wasn't even that crowded. Everyone else got a wrist band that proved they were over twenty-one to "speed" up the process I guess, but we never got carded. The second bartender had to do what the first one didn't. The cocktails weren't that amazing, but they did have hard soda with ice cream floats. A ton of the machines were broken too. Most of the popular type games didn't work. The food selection wasn't too impressive, but they did have 99 cent hand scooped Ice Cream cones. That was a major plus. This place also doesn't hand out tickets, they deposit your credits directly to your card. There was a lot of Japanese influence here. A lot of karaoke rooms, japanese candy in the reward shop, japanese arcade games/photo booths. This place also had pool tables, darts, and ping pong. There was pretty much something for everyone. I'll be back, because I have credits, but I'm hoping that more things work.

Yelp
A fun atmosphere for all. Parents can get drinks at bar while kids can enjoy tons of arcade games and bowling!

Yelp
This place is going to get the comparisons to Dave And Busters. I think I'm going to put it ahead of D&B because , while I can get a better meal there, I love the alternate game options of; Pool, darts, ping pong, karaoke and most importantly, Bowling. I'm just over the games of chance and collecting virtual tickets to buy a stuffed animal and those cards will suck $50 out of you quicker than a Las Vegas whore. We wanted to bowl and we weren't disappointed. On a Sunday evening we got a lane within 10 minutes and paid $25 for unlimited games for 90 minutes which included shoes (prices vary depending on day and time). This came out to 4 1/2 games compared to the cost of $20 for the two of us for 2 games. It was a great deal and if I had brought my own shoes (yes , I own bowling shoes) , an even better deal. The food options were snack bar at best, but there are enough great food options in Exton that is doesn't matter. Speaking of bar, what they do need to work on is their bar. With a fully functioning bar with all the beers working, it would be a much better experience. As it was , they were out of 80% of their beers. A funny note which leads to another suggestion; at 8pm, the lights go down and it's disco ball time at the bowling alley. This is perfectly fine and fun with the added bonus of large TV screens that appear above the lanes. This would be cool if they played a sporting event or music videos (or better yet, footage from the karaoke rooms, ha!) but instead they had an episode of 20/20 on. And to make matters worse it was a segment on starving kids in Africa. Nothing like trying to pick up a spare while being reminded of the frailty of man. One last suggestion...I would love to see one of these places add some old school arcade games; PAC man, joust , donkey kong, or some straight up pinball. I mean, how many racing/shooting games do we need?! Anyway, we had a blast and I'm glad a place like this exists. We will be back and looking for the inevitable improvements.

Yelp
Visited Round 1 in Exton again this past weekend and I'm sad to say my score for this arcade has only decreased since our last visit. Game prices have increased AGAIN. A lot of arcade games are 8 credits a play or more. UFO Catchers are 9.8 credits per play (what??) and the big Cranes on the ends are over 12 credits per play. On this visit, a Saturday afternoon, which was not too busy, but there were families and teens in to play games, I counted over 15 games that were out of order. Fifteen. It seemed like nearly every game we wanted to play was broken. Some games weren't even TURNED ON, let alone working correctly. And probably 1/3 of the UFO Catchers were out of order, too! Some of them only had one prize chute, which meant it was completely impossible to try and win that specific plush at all. Some Karaoke rooms were also out of order. Also, ALL of the self-serve kiosks were broken. ALL OF THEM. One of them at least was working just enough to be able to swipe your card and check your credits/tickets earned, but it wouldn't allow you to add money to your card. The other 3 kiosk machines weren't working at all. They have started to stock SOME anime figures, mostly Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and a CardCaptor Sakura figure. They also have started to add more styles of winning in the UFO Catchers besides just pushing the plush down the chute, but some of them seem a little steep considering the 9.8 credits per play. Some of the UFO Catchers were only half full, or had literally only 1 or 2 plush remaining. The prize room still lacks variety, and many of the small plush prizes (and the Rilakkuma/Korillakuma prizes) are STILL the same since the last time we were there over half a year ago. Definitely needs more Japanese prizes, be it plush or other small collectible items. Blind Boxes, Figures, Can Badges, Strap Charms, Gatcha Prizes, general anime merch... anything would be an improvement to the over-saturation of 'american crap' prizes like mugs, t-shirts, backpacks, cheap dollar store toys, etc. This location seems to still suffer heavily from being on the East Coast. None of the new games advertised on social media have made it out here yet, and it always seems to take forever for them to get prizes that other West Coast locations have weeks or even months earlier. I really want to love Round 1, but every time we visit we enjoy it a little bit less, and hardly ever seem to spend all the credits we buy during a visit now. I only suspect this location will continue to slowly slip downwards now that one is set to be built in Philly, too, as it will get priority over Exton's location. But hey, at least now they have 2 DANCERUSH STARDOM games.

Yelp
Went here with my coworkers on a Friday afternoon. We bowled and played some arcade games. Our bowling lane wasn't really working properly. Pins were always missing and would reset before we got the chance to bowl. The shoe dispenser was different but cool. They have a good range of bowling balls and they are designed to look like basketballs. They have a bar with cheap beer! It's a good deal. The arcade games were a little expensive and hard to win tickets from. The prizes were alright. Some of the games are confusing.
