Money grab!!! Takes way too much to make decent tix and to get any decent prize. Better off at old school arcades, or for the adults - def recommend local arcade bars. Or classic arcades or carnivals for cool prizes. It's utterly unacceptable to run a business like this. Make money but go about it better. Honestly. Whether In a major city or not.

Tonight in particular, the service was visibly on the poorer side. My friends and I were waiting in line for a party room, there were about 4-6 staff members working on one register while completely disregarding us (busy, understandable, but a quick “one moment please” would’ve been appreciated). Then, halfway through our session, one of the staff abruptly entered and “fixed” our room lighting that we weren’t even aware was touched, without any notice. I went to check what was wrong, he came back in and spoke into his walkie talkie (?) about reminding us that our time (that we paid in full for) would be cut if we touched the light again, fully despite me standing there and seeing him at the door. Rules or not, we didn’t appreciate the lack of communication and proper customer service. This is disappointing, especially when we frequent here and would’ve usually said it’s a fun spot.

Parking was relatively easy, especially after 10pm. We got a spot up front. Security was welcoming and we appreciated the process for getting in. The place it fairly large with lots of games to choose from. My partner really enjoyed the dance games and I really like the prizes in the claw machines. The machines themselves did feel rigged though, despite me winning a couple of prizes from them. The claw in the medium sized machines felt so weak. The only food we tried was the ice cream, which was good because a scoop was only $1. I did pass some people in the eating area with food and it didn't look appetizing at all. I would recommend eating elsewhere before or after coming here.

We were at the karaoke place as a party of and suddenly in the middle of singing, a guy wearing their round 1 jacket comes in without even announcing into our room and turn on the light. Then proceeded to threaten us if we dim the light, they will cut our times that we paid for. We were absolutely disappointed on the staffs’s attitude and service. Should communicate first then do what they need to do. That’s not so professional for just going in and out of the room that was reserved. Hope they can fix that.

Edit after multiple visits (10+) There are still a lot of issues they need to work out. There are too few workers working the claw machines, it takes a long time to flag someone down if you win something and need their help to get it. The heat is on way too high, I always get sweaty when I come here even in shorts and a t shirt. The ice cream is often sold out, and in general the customer service is lacking. We lost some credits on our card due to some system error - they could do nothing to help multiple times because the manager wasn't working at the hours we went. They suggested we follow up online with customer service. I emailed them through the website and they responded to me once and then ghosted me after without solving the issue. The manager at the stonestown round one needs to do better. We've visited the other round 1's in the bay area and they ate much better managed. This one probably gets thr most visitors so they should hire better staff before they drive away their customers. _______________________________________ Edit: most definitely better than Dave and Busters - but gotta ding em because of some system errors, points disappeared from my card. There was no manager on premise on very normal hours that could help. We had to come back to talk to the front desk multiple times and the issue has still not been resolved. The assistant manager suggested we reach out to corporate?? Probably better than Dave and Busters over at Serramonte but it just opened so there are growing pains. Like others have mentioned the machine payout rates are kind of low. We spent $100 and won 1 medium sized plushie and 4 small ones. The food seems to be pretty decent. Not too expensive and a good selection. Haven't tried the bowling yet. Will definitely come back, the kids love it. Currently the main entrance with escalator is not open yet and the back stairway is very narrow and not very accessible for those with mobility issues or strollers. Edit: main entrance is now open although seems like there are issues with the escalator. We have come back several times. Overall great addition to stonestown, I always welcome more entertainment and food options at malls. The machines are a little less rigged now that we've learned some more techniques with the claws (youtube it, there's a lot of videos with tips)

The place was convenient. It was spacious, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Defo willing to come here again!

Round1 is probably my favorite place to go for arcades and claw machines. The area is pretty spacious. It seems the food/dining area was short staffed as it took a while to order and receive food (self kiosk was down), but great experience overall.

Round 1 is something between a Dave & Buster's and a Chuck E. Cheese. But this particular place often has several games broken or malfunctioning. I understand that happens from time to time, and while it's disappointing for kids to go there hoping to play a particular game and have it be broken when you arrive, my real problem with this place is the ticket redemption area called "Victory Zone." I took my kids aged 5 and 8 to choose something for the meager 150 tickets they'd won from playing games. Several of the items were not marked with the ticket amounts and others were misplaced. To avoid disappointment, I only okayed my children's choice of a plainly-marked toy of 150 or under. My 5year old chose a rubber ducky in a bin full of other rubber duckies labeled 150. When we went up to redeem it, however, they couldn't scan it for some reason. I told them it was 150, but they didn't believe me. So I took them over to show them the bin where they toys were held, and he said, "oh that's mislabeled." He then proceeded to take the tag for 150 off and refused to honor that amount for us. I explained calmly that my 5yr old took good care to choose something at that amount, and that it was not her fault they had labeled it incorrectly. But he was unbending, saying he could call their manager, but there's nothing they could or would do about it. I was baffled by their response and their inability to own up to their mistake or apologize or do anything to remedy the situation. That whole Victory Zone area is so disorganized and chaotic. And then they mislabel items and refuse to give it to 5 year olds at the redemption price they have it labeled for? We decided to leave rather than try to figure out another prize. It was disappointing, and I was quite angry at their response. I'm just grateful my kids aren't the types to throw a tantrum, even though in this instance, it would've been warranted.

When you first walk in, it appears fun and there is definitely a lot of games to play, prizes to win and other activities to enjoy. Bowling here is just for fun. The pins are pin strung so even a well thrown ball get shorted. The bowling side quest game, I think it's called Moonlight Strike, where everyone throws at the same time and whoever gets a strike wins. It's fun to compete, but if you're paying by the hour, this definitely eats up precious time. I'm sure you could just bowl and forget about the game though. My daughter uses the ball ramp with bumpers. No matter how I align the ramp, the ball never rolls straight. Sometimes it drastically starts rolling toward the gutter. Bowling should be fun but when the lanes are that uneven, it almost makes it unenjoyable. For the crane games, I know people get lucky or are skilled enough to win, but in my opinion this is a money trap. It's a typical crane game where you latch on the prize then it drops rights before you win. Fun to try, but mainly frustrating when you don't win. There also isn't dairy free ice cream options. I tried to get my daughter ice cream but since she has a dairy allergy there was nothing she could have. Overall, I think this place can be fun if you're not worried about how much you're spending. For me personally, I feel like i'm not getting enough value for the money I've spent here.

Killing some time we stumbled into Round 1 and said let's go! We mainly wanted to play claw machines and get some stuffies. We must not have been that lucky that day as a $100 bucks netted us 2-3 stuffies haha. We had to get card with promo for the cups and activate it with a fee. A lot of the claw machines you had to grab a round ball plushy, and drop it to win the wall items. I would probably rather grab the plushy themselves but that'll probably be easier hence why they don't do it.. The round 1 back home closed for good so it was nice to enjoy some time here.

Round1 has improved upon one of my previous grievances. There are a lot more stuffed animals in the claw machines instead of the golden tokens, which means you can rely a bit more on skill than just sheer spamming for a payout grab. I still think the UFO machines in particular are a scam, though. The workers honestly don't really care from what I've seen, they just walk the perimeter and don't refill empty machines or reposition the stuffed animals unless you ask them to. I can understand not repositioning maybe, but not refilling unless you specifically go up is a bit much. I've had to chase down a few for this specific reason! We went on a weekday night and some teenagers and large groups of friends can be a tad rowdy. The arcade games remain quite fun to play, be it whether you're with one other person or a big group.

Round 1, fight!! Reminds me of how Street Fighters II rose to early fame after its oldest predecessor. Arcade games sure had been time consuming, but they eat away precious amount of quarters in order to start playing or continue. Inside Stonestown Galleria next to Target, go downstairs and see a bunch of pachinko machines and a bowling alley; much similar to Pier 39. There's even a food bar where they order Japanese munchies including an iced matcha latte. How about that?! Of some businesses in and outside Stonestown Galleria, there's Marugame Udon (once C Sushi), Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Uncle Tetsu, Daiso, Miniso, Mochill Donuts, Onigilly, and Kizuki Ramen. There's even some cute vending machines that dispersed anime toys. I'm starting to believe Stonestown Galleria has become more and more like the same great mall back in Tokyo Japan! About Round 1, my friend and I were interested in trying out arcade games instead of bowling. Win or lose a few, what matters is having fun trying out as many as possible to our heart's content. Buy a card; swipe and play. As colorful and cute as Round 1 is, it's entertaining and irresistible just like when you're in Japan.

I can't believe I only recently found out about Round 1! Highly recommend for anyone who likes claw games & chance to win cute stuffies! They also have arcade games, bowling, & karaoke here. I think many years ago there was a Round 1 in near me but unfortunately, it closed a couple years ago, though I had never been prior to visiting this one. I only started getting into collecting cute stuffies in recent years & discovered I tend to have decent luck with claw machine games hahahaha. There is still one location in Massachusetts but on the opposite end of the state. They had a bunch of different types of claw machines, some more challenging than others. One of the games I played, there were two ways you could win: pick up the stuffed animal with the claw OR there was a round stuffed token that you could pick up & redeem for one of the stuffed animals in that machine. The staff are super nice and helpful. You can request them to help adjust the stuffed animals if you think it will give you a better chance. Super fun and I honestly prefer it over Dave & Busters!

Round1 has a ton of activities to choose from like bowling, karaoke, arcade games, and billiards, but what really makes it stand out is the claw machines. They have a huge variety of plush prizes, including a lot of premium options you don't usually see at other arcades. That's honestly the main reason I keep coming back. For the activities, I rarely have to wait long, which makes it super convenient if you're with a group of friends. The space is big, and there's always something to do whether you're in the mood for games, a round of bowling, or just hanging out. The reason I can't quite give this place 5 stars is because there are a few consistent pain points. If you win one of the plushes from the claw games that have the yellow plush ball or the games with figurines, it always takes a while to track someone down to help you claim it. The food is just okay, not bad, but nothing memorable, and the bar usually only has one bartender working, so getting a drink can take longer than you'd like, especially if it's busy. That said, Round1 is still a great spot to spend an afternoon or evening with friends. Between the variety of activities and the unique claw machine prizes, it's one of the more fun and well-rounded entertainment spots around.

Came with four kids to spend a gifted card with a LOT of credits. Loved the variety of arcade games though not thrilled with how many straight-up token mining games there were. Highlights were the Icee game, very affordable skeeball, team car and motorcycle race games. Also noticed the games are generally time limited, so you can win but still have to pay more to get to the next level. We had a good time and the person in the prize room was super patient with the kids as they figured out what treasures they could afford.

The food was a little greasy but generous in portions. The service was slow and they needed more personnel. The food was limited because some stations did not have cooks and cashiers. The place is clean. The Karaoke songs were limited to mostly English Songs. No other language..

The newest arcade in Stonestown. They have karaoke, bowling, pool, arcade games, coin pushers, and crane games. There is a $5 membership where you get discounts for credits and bowling. The crane games vary from 9.0 credits to 14.0 credits, and there are claw game with 3 and 2 claws where you have to push down the plushs. Some plushies include branded Round 1, Sanrio characters, anime figurines. They have mini plushies and big sized ones. Tip: you can ask the staff to reset the plush if it is in a spot you can't get to. It is harder to find a team member once it gets later in the night.

I spent $22 but didn't win anything on the claw machine. I really want to win the big panda but I don't think it's possible to grab the yellow pillow. I see others winning by grabbing the actual stuffed animal in other machines. I feel cheated and wasted my money on nothing like gambling.

The staff here is nonexistent. We paid for bowling and had issue from the start with the pins not setting. We hit their service button and nothing happened for almost 10 minutes. We then walked all the way over to the desk on the other side of the building and informed them of the repeated problem. Finally a service person strolls over at the speed of a snail. 10 minutes of "service" later and nothing. Mind you our hour long clock continued to run after we pressed the service button a there was no time refund. This bowling alley is a joke and these employees are eternally useless.... Zero purpose to anything they do. Never again!

Love that there's a Round 1 in the Bay Area. The $0.99 ice cream here is also a great deal! A lot of claw machines and arcade games. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon, but a nice reprieve after shopping in the mall. Plenty of parking in parking structure around the mall too!

Def recommend coming on a weekday because it's a lot less crowded and I'm not sure if this is true, but I feel like the claw machines are a lot easier to win on weekdays? When I went on a weekday, it was pretty empty and for $20 I was able to get two stuffed animals (which is not bad considering I'm not very good at claw machines!). When my boyfriend and I came on a weekend, we spent $50 for coins but didn't end up winning anything :(. We haven't tried the food so I can't speak on it but given that we're inside the mall, there are a decent amount of options nearby Round 1. I like that there's also a bowling alley so there's always that option if you feel like doing something a bit more active at the arcade! I do want to say that we appreciated the staff members being willing to rearrange the plushies in certain claw machines when we asked due to the remaining plushies being in awkward angles/ positions! Overall, very clean arcade but just wished some of the claws in the machines provided a better grip :(

Visited yesterday evening after noting this opened during a recent trip to Stonestown. Entrance: When it's open, you can enter through Target. There's also an entrance in the parking structure, which is how we had to exit after Target closed. We took a lap when we arrived and were impressed by how large it is. There aren't a ton of old school video/arcade games, but there seemed to be something for everyone. We purchased two game cards and played a few games with "tokens" to spare for our next visit. Our main goal was to bowl, so we went to the counter and got on the waitlist. It was about a 30 min wait so we grabbed drinks at the bar and played a few games. We got a text that our lane was ready, completed our purchase, and played two games. The lanes were nice and other than being a little warm, we played two fun games. We then ordered some food while we debated if we wanted to play billiards or not. I had a slice of pizza, my husband had a cheeseburger and we split the jalapeño cheddar poppers. We both thought everything tasted good, but I think the poppers were a little overpriced ($9.99). We decided to save billiards for next time and played a couple more games before heading out. I was glad to see so many people there and as we were leaving around 8, people were still arriving for the night (they close at 2am). The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful and my only complaints were the long lines for food and drinks. Tip: They have an app that you can use for a few things, including tracking your bowling scores and getting on a few of the waitlists.

Finally, a Round1 Arcade in SF! I first heard about Round1 from a friend who used to live in the Hayward area, so I was excited to check out their new San Francisco location. My first impression was that the arcade is bright, lively, and filled with an overwhelming amount of stimulating lights and sounds, but it's also very clean and well-organized. One thing that immediately stood out to me was the number of claw machines. I was surprised by how many there were, all stocked with an impressive selection of cute plushies. I visited during their opening month on a Saturday, and as expected, it was packed. Despite the crowds, I appreciated how the staff remained attentive and helpful. They even assisted us by repositioning plushies when they were stuck in awkward angles, which made the experience much more enjoyable. Since they opened, I've visited at least once a month. Like any arcade, there are good days when you walk away with a prize and others where you leave empty-handed, but that's just the nature of these places! Whether you're here for the claw machines, rhythm games, or bowling, Round1 is a fun and exciting spot to spend time with friends.

I know they're a business and have to make a profit, but I can't help but feel like they're constantly penny pinching and creating just good enough of an experience to scrape by. Prize quality has gone down a ton since opening. A good chunk of the prizes look like they came out of Walmart claw machines. The other ones are super hard to win, expect to spend at least $50 each time. Popular characters like Sanrio are only available in the round coin plush machines (versus having the actual plush in the machine), and these machines only pay out after a certain amount of plays. The food area in the back always smells strongly of rancid grease and it's always hot inside. Food takes a long time to come out. I've never seen an employee there smile. If there were literally anything else to do after 10pm in the area, it would probably be a better experience than Round1. I think Round1 could be great, but it falls short in many ways.

I came here with my son and he was sitting down eating his pretzel from the mall while I was in line ordering food. Worker approached him and they told him he can't eat his pretzels even though he told them I was in line ordering food and drinks. I understand no outside food but come on, it's a pretzel. I'm buying food from you and spent over $100 for the arcade and he can't eat a pretzel

I was so excited when I found out there's a Round 1 in this city! I went here on a Tuesday around 3:20pm and there was no wait to get inside. I heard there's usually a wait later at night though. They sell food here and they have a bar too. Ok so one of my goals when I went here was to finally win something from the claw machines. I didn't end up winning anything and saw many people struggling too! I currently feel like the claw machines at this location are RIGGED. I even watched how people I know win a prize from these claw machine games before, but it didn't work over here. Besides my negative claw machine situation, I liked how they have a good variety of food here and a dining area too. The food was good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the Chicken Karaage. Those Chicken Karaage were a bit more on the dry side. They also ran out of certain items, while other items had a 1 hour wait. I'd visit this place again, but maybe not for the claw machines. I feel like I need to watch more people actually win something from the claw machines here. At least I was able to win enough tickets from one of the games here to claim my prize here.

This review is for the Bowling Center only. My son wanted to celebrate his birthday bowling with his friends, so I made it happen. The place is newly built, everything was spotless, and the bowling balls are all brand new. A heads-up though, they don't have party rooms at the moment, and you can't reserve lanes in advance. When I asked about party rooms a month before, they weren't sure when they'd be available. Because of that, we arrived an hour early to secure lanes before his friends showed up. We requested lanes in the corner, and Jenifer was great about making that happen. Overall, we had a wonderful experience despite not having an early reservation. Thank you Jenifer!

Had fun playing claw machines with my friend. We spent 2 hours in total playing to win all these. My favorite winnings were the Cow Millshake, Duck with Knife, and Tiny Line Friends Bear. When we arrived we were met by security to scan/wand us for dangerous items and show our IDs. I liked this because it made it feel safe and kept out any rift raft. We arrived at 11:30pm ish and there was quite a bit of people inside. At first it didn't seem like they had a lot of good prizes but some grew on me. By the end of the night my friend and I were lucky to have a pile of prizes. Some prizes took longer than others to get but it was worth it. If you plan on winning a lot I recommend bringing a bag or cart to hold all your winnings. They don't provide pages or anything.

Round1 was quite underwhelming. You walk in through the sliding glass doors and it's super loud and kind of bright. There are a number of arcade games but then you walk about 40 to 50 feet, and all you see are claw machines. Claw machines lit up with bright white fluorescent lights take up more than half of the open floorspace. It appears there aren't nearly as many arcade games for playing and some were already out of service. All three air hockey tables were out of service and the paddles weren't in sight. When I asked a staff member about the air hockey tables, he said they only had one puck available and one machine should be working. After he went to survey the situation, he came back and said the puck must be gone. They have ordered more pucks but they haven't arrived yet. For opening just a little over a month ago, the place is grossly dirty. They have not cleaned the machines they rented. There's very old gum stuck to one of the machines, dust and clumps of dust balls lining some of the machines, old dried spills on the floorboard on some, and even a plastic bag stuck at the top of the Fast and Furious arcade machine. The walls as you enter either the Women's or Men's restrooms have peeled paint and chipped Sheetrock. The mirrors in the Women's restroom is nasty with a poor cleaning job of swirls of white smears. The bowling alley area decor and vibe is really boring and sterile. Same for the dining area. There is a full bar so that's a plus. Their food offerings look decent and the prices of the items are reasonable. Based on the menus, there's a variety of items available including pizzas, chicken wings, burgers, and Japanese food like gyoza and ramen. They also have Icees! As a kid I loved when I could get an Icee! I didn't have any of the food or beverages so I can't comment on them. There was a small ticket and prize redemption area which likely will have a high shrink rate given that there were many bins of candies and small toys for the picking to redeem with 10 tickets. Security guards were not present. With alcohol being served and a place that will attract teenage and college aged people, I would have expected to see security walking around. There were young staff members scattered about, replenishing prizes and fixing arcade machines but no one that looked like management or security. Nothing about this place makes me want to come back. I hope my child never asks me to return. However, I know there will be a future trip because I paid $2 to load a card and we still have money on the card to spend. Paying $2 for each card was an odd fee for what we know will be expensive games anyways.

Absolutely terrible experience at round1. Go outside of SF for your bowling and arcade fun times. This place literally stinks like farts or sewage and the employees had no idea why. We wanted to leave after the first 10 min it smelled so bad but didnt want to waste 55$. The music was broken for the entire place so the bowling had no music just big screens of minor league football. The bowling balls were awful ( couldn't fit fingers in any of the holes, no matter what weight ball you had), the lanes were very wide and had comfy seating and the line for the bar was so long we couldn't order or else we would have wasted our hour. The kiosk has an "order food and drink " button but then its not available- maybe due to lack of staff/ servers. I DO NOT recommend spending money here, what a crying shame because SF needs something like this and the neighborhood/ rest of the mall is so awesome. You would think this would be great addition to the mall but its just horrible, they didn't get the details right. Smh

Round 1 Stonestown is officially here!! Soft opening tomorrow, 11/9/24, but Friends and Family were invited today for a sneak peek. Location is spacious and workers are all super excited and friendly! Ethan was so welcoming and greeted everyone at the door today, I loved his energy and excitement. Lots of workers were around to help with the machines and bowling area today, I even got to meet their AGM. This is the PERFECT location for parties and group gatherings. Best of all, it's right in our backyard w/ plenty of parking (both outdoors and in the covered garage) and the pizza here is not bad either. So nice to be able to dine and play all in one area at the same time. :) Be sure to stop by and check out this Round 1 before word gets out that they're open. This is going to be a popular hangout not only for kids but also adults! Thank you Round 1 for opening up in SF!

So many claw machines. I don't have kids so I didn't realize how popular claw machines have gotten! Mini, Medium, Big - all sizes of claw machines! And they all look rigged. The stuffies are way too heavy for the claws, but they're still really popular to play. The bowling alley had about 8-9 lanes. There's also billiards and party rooms that also have karaoke. I can see this being really popular for under 13 year-olds. The bar was dinky and not impressive. I didn't hear until after that Round1 is popular for its $0.99 ice cream so I will be back to check that out. I'm glad something has taken over the basement of Nordstrom's. The entrance is awkwardly only in the back near the parking lot right now, but they should be opening the main entrance in the mall soon.

Came here for grand opening really really cool event and arcade, bowling area and food court I feel like what made this event very special is that it has everything such as an arcade mini games to win plushy The people here were really really friendly on opening day you were able to win a T-shirt, which they were giving out

Super fun arcade in SF. This is the first round 1 that I've ever been to, and I've gone back on multiple occasions for different celebrations and times to hang out with friends. They have a variety of different claw machines, arcade games, bowling, and karaoke rooms. When we came on a weekday night, we have to wait about an hour for the bowling which wasn't bad. The pins are attached to some string to help with set up, so the feel and the physics aren't like traditional bowling alleys. The plushies are so cute, and this place seems a little better maintained than other round 1s throughout the Bay Area. I wish the UFO claw had more variety in the plushies. There were also still a few machines that were broken when I went. You can ask a staff member to reset the claw machine to reposition the plushie too! Most people have been really nice. I also always play DDR when I come. In order to access the harder levels, you need to get an additional card ($6/card, which you can use again in future visits), to save your status and skill level. Kind of inconvenient, especially if you don't play that frequently!

There's a lot to do here, from bowling and claw machines (the grabby games where you try to win a prize!) to a variety of arcade games. They even offer food and drinks, which was a nice surprise when I visited. I ordered a Moscow Mule for just $3.99--such a good deal. I did try my luck at the claw games but didn't win any prizes, so be prepared to spend a fair amount if you're hoping to walk away with something. It's also really convenient that it's located right inside Stonestown Mall, making it an easy spot to stop by after shopping. Overall, a fun and lively place to hang out with friends or family.

I love Round 1, there so much activations here! Bowling, Pool, Arcade, and Claw Machines. This is a good spot if you want to watch a game while playing pool. It's pretty quiet on the weekdays. Downside: I think their staff need a little bit more training. Their are times where i'm waiting in line, 1 staff is managing the guest counter while 3 other staff are just yapping away lol. I also noticed a significant decline in their Claw Machine staff. Normally there is always 2-3 staff members walking around assisting people but I've noticed only 1 staff member during my last visit.

I'm glad a Round1 opened in SF instead of having to commute to SJ or Fremont. Came here on a Sunday afternoon at around 1:30pm ish. Very crowded already, some aisles you have to literally walk sideways and squeeze by people. But to be expected since this place just opened and the hype is still big at the moment. Didn't spend too much time at the claw machines this time around since it was too crowded. Managed to win a small plush keychain in 2 tries. It felt like the large claw machines' grip strength was super weak compared to other claw machines at other Round1s. Didn't get a chance to spend too long at the large claw machines. Line to purchase and refill game cards at the counter was very very long. Didn't try the food this time around. Bowling alleys were not busy at the time we went. Didn't check pool tables or karaoke/party rooms. I suggest waiting another few weeks when the hype dies down before you visit, or go during the middle of the day during the weekday.

Extremely rude manager. The women manager at the cashier ignored us after we politely said Hello and waited there for nearly 5 minutes?? other employees are friendly but I left because of the manager attitude.

Ramen was okay but the alcoholic bar was closed and on top of that the imported drinks were expensive. I wouldn't mind paying expensive just needs to be a little bit higher quality. Bowling was decently nice though the place was mostly dead I was expecting more people. At least the asian guy at the counter (this was at night) was nice to us however. Also someone was doing cocaine in the bathroom. Kinda surprised someone brought in cocaine considering there was security for this place...

I recently visited the skating area at Round One Stonestown and had a very upsetting experience with an employee named Grace. Her behavior was unprofessional and felt racially biased. The posted policy says one drink per hour, but I saw her serve other customers additional drinks within that same hour -- while enforcing the rule strictly with me. That kind of inconsistency and selective enforcement is unacceptable. On top of that, her attitude toward me was rude and dismissive. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I hope management looks into this issue seriously and provides better training, because no one should be treated differently based on who they are.

This place has so much potential as a night spot if only they were properly staffed. Went on a Saturday night and the place was packed but there was no one behind the food nor the bar. Customers were waiting in line waiting for a staff to show up but to no avail. Eventually they had someone at the food but this guy was under too much pressure. There were groups celebrating in the karaoke that wanted to get drunk but no booze was available. I can't imagine the loss of revenues. Y'all need to staff up on the weekend.

First time here at Round1. It's a good size arcade. I wish there was more playing arcade games. There's sooooooo many claw machines and less games. I didn't get to try their food or bowling area, I'll for sure come back next time since it's still a cool hangout spot with friends/family. Park in the stonestown 1st floor parking garage.

Pros: - lots of winnable crane games with rotating prizes - option to bowl, game, eat (karaoke and billiards too? Haven't tried) - not as grimey as d&b, fairly clean (I'd say it's still kinda new tho) - Staff is super friendly every time Cons: - food is mid - can't reserve bowling lanes in advance - arcade not as vast as d&b - party package is far too expensive (see pics for price per person) also can't book online or over the phone, must go in-person. Overall, it's a fun place to hangout for maybe an hour if you're not eating or bowling.

I came here on a Sunday night and most of the claw machines didn't have any toys out. It was disappointing and it seemed like they were understaffed I couldn't find anyone to help. But if you come during the day the experience is better.

This place was a fun place to check out for several hours. The ambiance sort of felt like a 90s themed entertainment center. I wasn't a fan of that. For those who don't know, Round 1 is a Japanese chain. Having been to Japan's Claw Machine/Arcade spots, this sort of felt like a shell of what it was supposed to have been. It needed more energy, music, better choice in carpet, and kawaii chic. I've noticed a lot of people said the claw machines are rigged. Well, duh. People don't play a claw machine and expect a win. That being said, there are plenty of arcade games, the fun modern quality ones. 60% of the floor are varieties of claw machines with prizes that would make your eyeballs pop out your head if you like Anime or video games. There was a food court and full bar, which I very much appreciated very much. You have to flag down the workers several times to reset the machines sometimes if the prize goes to a weird area of the machine. I think they were a bit understaffed the day I visited. Because it's in Stonetown, there were armed security with a metal detector wand starting their shift at night. I didn't feel unsafe at any point but a safety precautions I appreciate. Would come back here again!

Bad customer service and at one of the manager that wearing a black stripe long sleeve shirt accusing at vaping inside when i just and the vape to my partner and start calling on her headset about us and we have kids common sense maybe this lady dont have kids at all that she dont have common sense that while were gonna vape when theres kids around 11/22/25 6:40 pm

Took my kids here and we had a blast! We were here mostly for the claw machines but got a chance to play some games in the arcade. The food is pretty reasonably priced but the claw machines do get pretty pricey. The quality of the stuffies and really good and emulate the claw machines in Japan. We've been multiple times since the first time and have always come away with huge bags of prizes. Hoping to try the bowling or pool one of these times. Would pick this over Dave and busters.

My kids love round 1! We got so many plushies from here. It is very expensive though and will take a lot of tries to get the plushies that you want. I've spent almost $1,000 here for my kids They also have bowling which i did with my kids and husband that was pretty fun. Food here is pretty nice and cheap too. The plushies here are the cutest! Just wish it was a little cheaper.

Fun games , lots of cute stuff animals! The payout here can be difficult compared to other round ones. I remembered each game was 10 credits , but here is 14 credits to play for the big stuff animals. I wish they lower the credits because it's addicting and I wasted lots of money here ! Fun though :)

This place is a scam of course. LOL but who wouldn't be sucked in by cute stuffies and bright lights. Pure luck to win things. But usually we always end up with something. We love this place because its convenient for us. Service is hit or miss, MOSTLY at night, when its SUPER busy. Understandable I guess. But they're fairly nice when asked to grab things or when there's a machine that is really unlikely that you can grab anything, they do fluff it for you. My one gripe is....they need to really hire folks to clean ASAP. This place is fairly new but why is it so DIRTY!!! We've been okay, but the last weekend we went with our kids, both kids, my husband AND mother in law are like grossly sick. The arcade area is where you really see how dirty things are, especially near the basketball games. 50/50 blame, since the customers are also the cause of the grossness. BLEH. but my husband is addicted. so I guess we'll be back regardless. oh and we tried to order food around noon, and apparently they can get backed up so you can't order anything at all. Like WUT. but fine, we just left to go find food in the mall. MUCH BETTER option anyways.

Bright, clean ADA accessible, friendly workers, lots to do for all ages. Food, drinks, and lots of fun for all.

Pros: Great arcade, fun place to bring friends, entertaining place to bowl and do karaoke. Cons: Customer Service, understaffed, and nobody seems to be attentive to the customers.

So happy this location opened up in S.F.! I've heard so many good things about Round 1. This place is so fun with numerous claw machine, arcade games, bowling and food court! You'll need to purchase a game card in order to play the claw machines and arcade games. You can purchase a Regular card from the vending machine at the front or go to the guest services in the back. The benefit of going to the guest services is you could buy the Club / Digital Club card that gets you more credits as you purchase higher value credits. I guess it really depends how often you'd come back to play, so it would make sense to just load your card more to get the bonus credits and it'll also be cheaper per play for the machines. Plenty of parking "behind" the mall in the parking structure / target.

We were really excited to come check this place out. The staff is friendly and helpful in case a game does not work they get it to work. I did not like that there was a fee for the card but I guess this is standard and they do the same at other places. If you are a fan of claw machines this is the place for you. The stuffed animals and prizes in the claw machines are really cool. The staff is helpful they came right away to fix a game that was not working. I do plan to return with my kids and win prizes from the claw machines.
