How have I not been here before? So delicious. Roundhouse Deli is by far now one of my favorite places to eat. Place looks a little run down but don’t let that fool you for how yummy the food is. All the staff were hard at work and very friendly. I got a chance to check out the smoker which smelled so good. Tri tip sandwich & tacos was amazing, meat was cooked perfect. I like my food a lil spicy so tried their hot sauce. So good.

Roadside Deli that had lightning quick service, tasty pastrami and tri-tip that's smoked right out front of the deli...This place has this all figured out!...the people are great.....place was busy and still got our food in minutes....Great Mom & Pop place!

What an awesome spot! I have worked down the street from here for a year and just discovered it today. I got a train wreck sandwich which is their fresh tri tip and pastrami. By far thee best sandwich in the area. Fully deserving of 5 stars. The atmosphere of an old train stop with all kinds of old memorabilia makes the place feel like it's been there since the 1940s. It was a little bit busy but that's to be expected for a place this good. I don't leave a ton of glowing reviews but this place is just amazing.

Atmosphere is eclectic. Rustic. Nostalgic. Cheesesteak sandie was delicious. Get the meal. Good value. Great customer service, family owned. I will be back for tri tip tacos

We had the tri tip tacos and they were delicious. Lots of smokey flavor. The hot sauce was really good as well. Staff was super friendly and it was a very nice place to just sit and enjoy lunch. 7-8-25 Back here again. Again I have no complaints. Tri-tip tacos are a must. Delicious as always.

This was recommended by locals while in town for business. I arrived to lines out the door, but had my food in under 8 minutes!!! I ate there three days! Tri tip tacos, BLT, and a cheese steak. All were amazing! The portions were huge and price was cheap!?

Had the best sandwich of my life! It’s called the train wreck, freshly smoked tri tip and pastrami piled onto a fresh roll, they serve Philly style with peppers and onions (which are not shown here since I am allergic to onion) Place was packed during the lunch hour. Very popular local joint and worth the wait!

Their food is as good as it always has been. I was lucky that I was in the area and could get a breakfast burrito. My god it was SO good. They're usually busy when I've gone in but they get their orders out pretty quick. They have Carne Asada tacos now which as just as delicious as their other items. Rene is a great man that remembers his customers. Trust me. Order from here and you won't be disappointed.

New Five To give them anything would be insulting. Food made with genuine Lve. Been trying to stop here for over three years always running to medical appts. Car repair appts. Despite a busy schedule and road construction. I managed to find a parking space down the block. I walked and was passed by working class, blue collar individuals. Rail Road Workers, Garbage Man, Contruction Workers, Attorney's who all seemed desperate to go inside and get there orders. When I asked is it the sandwich they said yes but almost every last one of them said but Im her for the Tri Tip Tacos. Which I now call the 5Tacos!!! Haven't tried my Tri Tip sandwich yet but when the Tacos settle its going down

Rounhouse Deli is one of my absolute favorite lunch spots. It's family-owned, the service is always quick and super friendly, and the food is amazing. There hasnt been anything ive bordered I didn't love. The carne asada burrito is my go-to, and anything with tri-tip is so good! It's a small place, so indoor seating can fill up fast, but there is additional seating outside which helps. I also love checking out all the old photos and history on the walls-- Adds to the charm for sure. 10 out of 10, Highly recommend this spot to anyone.

How have I lived in the area all my life and never gave myself the joy of experiencing Roundhouse Deli? It's a local favorite, and you can tell by the never ending line of people coming to order food. And once you visit, you see why. Such a great vibe, the staff is amazing and so friendly/helpful. Service is lightning quick...the food is absolutely delicious! We tried the tri tip sandwich, tri tip tacos, French fries, and potato salad...so good that even just thinking about them right now makes my mouth water! Highly recommend Roundhouse Deli, it lives up to every bit of the hype!

Yummy! I was in the area and drove by this place. Just by the number of cars parked up front you could tell, they were popular. The cashier recommended the Trip-tip sandwich and it didn't disappoint. The meat had a nice smoky taste. The potato salad was pretty good as well. Good lunch.

Great tacos in a genuine family owned establishment. Quick and expedient service with a smile. Look at the collection of railroad memories from years gone by that line the walls. Keep up the great work!!

Ok so I've heard about this place for years but have never made the trek to try the tri tip tacos. Today was the day . Omg! I'm a taco lover, I mean I know that most people love them, too .... But I could eat them daily. My friend and I were heading to lunch...let's get tacos somewhere we both agreed. I said ohhhh I know the spot let's go. Popular spot open during construction right in front of the business. We did not let that deter us. The dining gods were with us as we scored a nice inside booth. Service was friendly and prompt. Both of us got the Tri tip and would have a hard time deviating from this choice as they were soooo good, but the rest of the menu looks amazing as well. We got the meal deal. I didn't try my Mac salad as I brought it home for one of my kids. It was a nice generous portion . The bottled sauce was so good I even asked if they sold it. Can't wait to come back !

You know when some restaurants are considered an "Institution". The hole in a wall Roundhouse Deli is LEGIT. It rivals the best Tex-Mex tacos of Texas, most famous of then is Velvet Taco. The price is above average but once you've tasted their Tri-tips whether as a taco, burrito or sandwich, you'll agree that your dollar paid for a very high quality meal. The tri-tip was the most dominant taste on the item which is the way it is supposed to unlike other establishments. As a bonus, they are not greasy even the bacon burrito. Service speed is average wise, not Chipotle fast but not sit down dinner slow either. Expect long lines during weekends. Parking could be a challenge when busy. There's room for 3 cars on their gravel parking lot but plenty of street parking. Just watch out for areas where not allowed. Lastly, this better than Chipotle.

Do yourself a favor, if you haven't been to Roundhouse Deli go. If you've already been, I don't need to tell you- you know! This spot is a Roseville staple and is a popular spot for those in the know. There's street parking and as soon as you get out of the car the smells of the grilled/smoked meats wafts through the air and if you weren't already hungry you will be. The staff is hard at work getting food out to customers, the owner is usually at the counter (at least when I've visited) and is super friendly. They serve breakfast (Until 10:30am) as well as burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and tacos. Check out their daily special and if it's the tri-tip tacos get them! I was skeptical the first time because I'm not big on tri-tip but they are SO GOOD. They have limited seating inside and some picnic tables outside. If you can, enjoy the food there because it's so good fresh and hot, but from experience I know it can survive the ride home and still taste amazing. As I'm typing this I'm already planning my next visit.

Delicious! Food: Tri Tip Tacos - Smokey crispy taco. The meat was juicy, tasty and not fatty. Burger - perfect great bun Red Bull - great variety of flavors I've never seen before Service - fast and courteous Ambiance - old school vibe perfect outdoor seating So glad I stopped. Hole in the wall of awesome food.

Service was great, all personnel were pleasant and helpful. Food was great, especially that sauce that came with my burrito, I loved it and they gave you the bottle not a few packets, that really impressed me. I just wished they will have a whole day menu instead of splitting it up breakfast and lunch. I could eat those burritos with that sauce all day long.

Food is great and fast. We called over the phone and got there within 15 minutes and everything was packed ready to go. We love the salsa and tri tip tacos were amazing!!! We also got the breakfast burrito, which are too delicious!!! Definitely coming back something about it being a little mom and pop makes everything taste authentic!!

I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Their bread is FANTASTIC! We got the Tri tip sandwich which was overpowered with the bbq sauce. The meat was tender and again, the bread is amazing. Macaroni salad was good. Service was insanely quick! There aren't many tables, but plenty of parks nearby to bring your sando.

Very cool little deli for fresh tacos, with even better food. The place is a bit off the grid. The staff is friendly and quick to help. The asada tacos were amazing, and the hot sauce/salsa definitely helps up the overall taste.

Nostalgic, historic storefront. Still delicious as ever! The service is super quick and always with a smile. I'm a big fan of a sausage breakfast sandwich on sourdough. The tri tip tacos are a must-try too! There's not a lot of seating, so we usually take it to-go. It gets busy for breakfast and lunch, be sure to call ahead.

This place is walking distance from my new house in Roseville and I am here wayyy too often. The tri tip here is the best I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Super small shop so be prepared to have to wait for a table. So worth it.

Stopped in here during my travels. Super delicious. Ordered the tri-tip sandwich.... SUPER Delicious . Service was excellent. Fast and efficient. Weather was beautiful with outside seating.

My co-workers have been raving about this place. Don't expect a big sit-down restaurant. This is a small storefront with a few tables that are in the way of people ordering. Order and eat elsewhere. I ordered the carne asada tacos, which were on their daily board. I was not impressed whatsoever! They were very minimal and also not very good. My co-worker couldn't even eat hers as she didn't like them. I have heard that the brisket tacos are amazing, so maybe we just ate here on an off day. I want to try this place another time as it seems to be a hot spot.

I mean, I think it doesn't get any better than this for a Deli. The tri tip tacos are amazing but it's not why I go here. I go because the breakfast burritos are the perfect size and price. The place is exactly what I want it to be. Full of history that makes the place look older but who cares and kind people that love what they do. My son is so excited because he gets a breakfast burrito and gets to see trains. This is the spot and I hope this place never closes or changes.

I was disappointed but it might be a me thing and not a them thing. Seriously, I had no clue their tri-tip was smoked! Everyone's raving about their tri-tip tacos so of course I had to try them. However, I'm not a big fan of smoked meats and to make matters worst, the smokiness was just overpowering! I think their potato salad is better than the macaroni salad, the macaroni salad had way too much mayo and I love mayo, so I think that's saying a lot. The best thing I ate was bacon cheeseburger and fries. Hard to mess up a burger.

Best restaurant for Mexican food in Roseville. Love this place. Food is fresh and prepared while you wait.

Came here Thursday lunchtime. Pretty packed line. Only two picnic tables on the outside. Parking- street parking or the dirt surface parking lot Ordered- our whole group ordered the Tri-tip tacos Which is not on the menu. It was amazing. That's all we needed. Return Factor- yes, just for those Tri tip tacos

Wow! Every Yelper who gave this eatery 5 stars is absolutely correct. This place is down home, funky, not particularly clean, small, crowded, hectic and serves simple belly filling starches and fats. My beef tri-tip tacos had no real Mexican heritage, but boy did I love them! Think Taco Bell on steroids. Bambie swooned about her chicken taco. We luckily got a small table inside the room at 11:50am, the only one available right up against the entry door. 2 minutes later there were 20 people standing on-line to order. See the photos. The menu is small and limited. I advise vegetarians & vegans to avoid the place - Nothing here for you to eat. I'm going back real soon. Gott'a try a big sandwich.

I got the tri-tip tacos with there fries which were amazing, I always get the French fries when I'm here they are so good. The service was great it gets busy sometimes of day and can be tricky to find parking.

I'm up north for work looking for something different. Really hit the spot. Trip tip had that Smokey flavor I was looking for. Busy for lunch.

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. I didn't expect for this place to be so tiny. It was packed with a long line and the parking lot is made of rocks, making it really difficult for me to push my baby's stroller. It was a struggle. I was excited to try the tri-tip tacos because of the rave reviews. I thought it was okay, a bit bland. I also got the brisket sandwich and that was a solid choice. There was plenty of brisket and the bbq sauce was tasty. The fries were cold. Maybe they would have been good if they were fresh. Be wary if coming with here with a stroller/wheelchair.

Favorite place to go and eat Tacos, drink beer and hang out outside. Great service and great food!

This place is hoppin'. Tuesdays are tri-tip special, a sando or 3 tacos. I went with the recommended tacos. So smoky & tortillas are house made! It's been a while since I've had really good smoked tri tip. It's thinly sliced & topped thinly sliced lettuce, grated cheese. The mac salad was decent. Friends were shocked that I've been in Roseville for nearly 5 years & never heard of this place, now I wonder the same. Excited to try the pastrami sando or cheesesteak. A small, quaint dining space inside - only small 2-person tables mostly or eat at the long picnic tables stacked together outside.

A must stop for a bite in downtown Roseville! I ordered the tri-tip sandwich (8.5/10). One of the best I've ever had! The meat was thinly sliced and flavorful- some bites felt a little dry, and the bread is thick so it wasn't as satisfyingly moist as I would have preferred for my bites, but the flavor is ALL THERE. All in all, a steal for the price. The owner immediately jumped on us with a friendly greeting. Customer service is obviously a talent and passion of his. It was 1pm on a Wednesday, and we were the only ones in the joint. Food was fast to order, and took about 12-15 minutes to come out so it's obviously made to order. Biggest complaint... it's hot inside. I ordered my food to go and ate it in my car. We will be back- great find in Roseville if you're craving some KC BBQ! I look forward to trying the wings and the ribs....

This place is a hidden gem in old Roseville. Saturday is my favorite with the special that is tri-tip taco combo. Small place and only a few seats inside but spring and summer is best to sit outside. They smoke all their own meat and made daily on site. Staff definitely cares for their customers as they remember so many names and faces. Pricing is perfect and food is amazing. Definitely make their food with love.

First time here and they definitely did not disappoint. Not from the area but I ran into their yelp page and the food and service was A1. Quick service and food was delicious. I tried the tri tip tacos and tri tip sandwich. Both very flavorful especially with their side salsa they provided.

I was so excited when my work ordered us lunch from Roundhouse Deli! I couldn't wait to try their infamous Tri Tip Tacos. We ordered a pick up order over the phone around lunch time and they had it ready in less than 15 minutes! Super fast!!!! I ordered the Tri Tip Tacos without any produce. And to my surprise they were still full of meat and cheese!!!!! I mixed their BBQ sauce and Hot Sauce together and it was perfect on both the tacos and my French fries! I can't wait to try the chicken and carne asada tacos next!!!

Have heard nothing but great things about this place and have been wanting to go. Today was the day! Rainy, cold and ready for tacos, because tacos make everything better! Walked in the kid at the register had a huge smile on his face and greeted us. Husband said we haven't been here before what do we do! He suggested different things and I settled on trip tip tacos and hubby got the breakfast burrito! Enjoyed all the pictures all over the walls! Luck was on our side we found a little table in the corner. Quick service got our food and it was HOT! Their salsa had some great flavor and the shells on the tacos were perfection! Now I know why everyone raves about it! So happy I got to experience it first hand and will be back!

I had a craving for tacos..it was Taco Tuesday sooo lol I remembered that Roundhouse Deli served up some amazing tri tip tacos! It had been quite sometime since I had been there. The tortilla shell reminds me of Jimboys style with the Parmesan on the outside. The tacos were filled with thinly sliced, smokey, and tender tri tip, some lettuce and lots of cheese! I love cheese. They had me at copious amounts of cheese ;) He is a locomotive engineer and eats there more often than I do. Whenever he's driving the freight train on the nearby tracks and gets to stop, he gets to eat there. So, needless to say, he was kind of bored of trip tip. He ordered the pulled chicken tacos which were good, but needed the sauce to help it along lol the chicken was moist, but lacked flavor for me. He enjoyed them, which is what mattered most! The tri tip tacos are the only reason I go here. They are legit.

You have to come here on TUESDAYS!! The tri tip sandwiches on Tuesday are a must! The sandwich is perfect, the tri tip is well marinated and cooked and everything in the sandwich just compliments each other! The potato salad is also really good too! Location is a long a main road so plenty of parking on both sides of the street, plenty of different items on their menu from tacos to burgers to chicken strips etc. Service is quick and friendly, overall I'll definitely be returning to try more of their items!

I had seen the recommendations on Nextdoor by many posters. So I had to check it out. It's a small deli with limited seating. But the smoked beef tacos were Delicious!!! I will be back.

We loved our breakfast burritos! I don't know why we have never been here before, but now we will be back soon! We stopped by on a Wednesday around 9:30am for some breakfast burritos. There were people inside and outside eating, so you know it has to be good. I got the ham with beans and my husband got the Jeremy burrito. We both loved what we ordered. The burritos were thick and cheap! The Roseville location is by Denio's. Street parking, so I imagine it gets hard to find parking at times. The smoker was going even early in the day and it smelled fantastic! The store is small with a few tables and chairs inside with picnic benches outside. There is a cold case of drinks which is nice. You order at the counter and wait for it be to made. Service was very quick. We will definitely be back!

This place is a little out of the way for me to be honest... but I'm never disappointed when I do manage to drop by! The items that will draw me in are the breakfast burritos and tri-tip sandwiches. Both are excellent and definitely in the running for the best of class in the area. It's just a little hole in the wall with not much to offer in the way of seating. If you come during a busy period, you may have a tough time finding a place to sit. To be fair, I get the feeling their main focus is take out, and they do steady business in that area!
