"Round Up Rodeo, also in Toy Story Land, is one of the newest, most popular spots at Disney World. The booths are made to look like Monopoly cards and Scrabble tiles, and the servers freeze at attention whenever they hear Andy coming to look for a misplaced toy. We had a great time at Roundup Rodeo BBQ! The atmosphere was fun and creative, perfect for Disney’s Toy Story Land. The cheddar biscuits were absolutely delicious—soft, cheesy, and paired perfectly with the sweet pepper jelly. The ribs were tender and flavorful, definitely one of the standout items. Our server Walter was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The reason for 4 stars is the pacing between courses felt a little rushed, and desserts doesn't have that WOW!. Still, a great dining experience overall and worth a visit!

The star was the Mac and Cheese! Wow! The tiny spiral noodles in velvety cheese. I'll be dreaming of this for a long time! You definitely need to make reservations! It's $50 all you can eat, but it's served to your table family style. The brisket and ribs are amazing! It's plenty of food for the price. The strawberry lemonade was so refreshing! It's cute when Andy comes by on the speaker! 🔊 Everyone has to freeze as a toy. The little dessert Parfaits are very good too! The atmosphere and decor are perfect, and it's really a fantastic dining experience.

When Disney commits to a theme; BOY DO THEY COMMIT! I felt like I was transported into the Toy Story world. The atmosphere and the theatrics we were encouraged to join in on between courses made this dining experience all the more special. When it was announced that “Andy’s coming”, we, “the toys” had to freeze until the coast was clear. We also got to practice our roars with Rex and that was pretty funny to see a bunch of adults finding their inner child again. My favorite part of the meal was actually the first course of the tomato and cucumber salad and the watermelon salad. Super light and refreshing on a June day. Also the cheddar biscuits and pepper jelly were an unexpected combination I never knew I needed. I’d come back just to eat those three things! The only reason I only gave a three is because the main course wasn’t the best barbecue and the sides were ehh. The chicken was dry and the ribs while looked good weren’t that flavorful. The brisket was decent though

Rodeo Roundup Barbecue has been on my daughter’s bucket list since it opened, so we made reservations for our visit to Hollywood Studios. While I can see the atmosphere might be fun for Disney lovers and kids, it falls short on the food and service. I did not read reviews before booking a reservation as I wanted to go with an open mind for our experience. (I will not do that again.) First, the Prospector’s Biscuits and jelly were good-4/5; the tomato salad is a solid 4/5, and I would give the watermelon salad a 2/5 (very little mint). The platter of smoked items was very disappointing; the best item on it was the chicken because the ribs were dry, and the bratwurst was super spicy (2/5). The mac and cheese was the best side item (4/5); the slaw was ok (3/5), and the corn was cold. As for the baked beans, they were not good at all (1/5), and the tater tots are basic tater tots. While the ambience with “freeze, Andy is coming,” is probably fun for some, not a ton of people were into it. Our food was cold, and our waiter was super nice when we did see him. The mini desserts were good (lemon blueberry cheese cake and chocolate silk pie) 3/5. I really wanted to enjoy this experience, but after dropping $107 (not including tip), it’s a one and done for me, and I would not recommend this. Save your money and time.

Google
Awesome atmosphere. The food is all pretty good. We ask for more brisket and they brought us a nice size portion of it. Everything is served all you can eat family style. The kids loved all of the colors and the character models. The place is HUGE on the inside! So much space for seating.

Kelsey Harrington

Google
We really loved the food and the theming of the restaurant. The kids get to ride a stick horse to the table and my son loved that. There’s a lot of fun interactions that happen while in the restaurant like Andy’s coming and some other fun things happening. The food was great and there’s so much of it! The only downside is we had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated other than that everything was great!

My husband and I went to Woody’s Roundup back in March for our Honeymoon and we loved it! It’s so cute we made a reservation for the restaurant 4-5 months in advance through the Disney World App. It’s an all you can eat restaurant and they do not have to go boxes so you really need to be hungry to get your moneys worth. They make you feel like a toy in Andy’s room.

Diaz was our server and was the BEST server we've had all trip here, he was very knowledgeable and you acting skills are amazing. This place is all you can eat and they have amazing vegan options. The peach pie was delicious especially since it was dairy free. The place was clean and becoming a toy was super fun. Highly recommend, but probably not for parties of 2 people because it was $105 for 2 people and we could barely finish the food they brought out... It's soooo much food. Definitely bring the family here though!! Anyways, loved it!

Yelp
This was such a cool experience for my family. The food was so fresh and tasty. Its bbq please dont expect a fine dining experience but a bbq experience. The food was very flavorful, tender and delicious. We loved the ribs, salad and biscuits the most. Everything was so fresh. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating, his name was James. The atmosphere was great and to top it off so was the dessert. The decorations were so cute. Also please remember that Andy is coming and you have to freeze, I forgot once the food came. Its a hit in our books! I wish they would allow you to take your left overs home.

Yelp
Pros: The ambiance was excellent. Disney always does such a good job when they actually concentrate on their theming. Service was good. Our guy was very attentive. The sides were actually very nice. Sides have always been my favorite part of BBQ places, and this place was no different. Cons: The meats themselves were ok. It's hard when you have to make an AYCE amount of a cuisine that thrives on being made low and slow. Also, the food waste here is atrocious. Two people do Not need that much food. Tips: If you're two people, unless you have quite the appetite, don't come here. If you're four people, do come here.

Yelp
We made a reservation for DHS one Saturday, and knew we would be hungry at the end of the long day. So we thought, let's go check out Woody's Roundup. Ambiance was the epitome of proper theming. Literally every inch of wall and ceiling space was decorated with large children's décor, really selling that you've been shrunk down and now are a toy. Really fun. Included in the ambiance was a little show that went off every 10-15 minutes or so. Having us all having to freeze so Andy wouldn't see us move was a lot of fun. Service was also good. My glass of sweet tea was never empty. As for the food. Well. I'm glad the ambiance was perfect. I honestly think families full of kids would enjoy eating here no matter what was served, but I think we can all agree that endlessly mass produced BBQ was never destined to be high quality. Dry biscuits, dry ribs, it all kind of relies on being slathered in the sauces that are on the table. The sides were banging, though. Mega crispy tots, elote corn-on-the-cob that was to die for, and really good crumbly biscuits. I was a big fan of the sides. Something I was not a fan of, though, was the way they handled portion sizes. Whether you are a table of two or a table of four, you get the same serving size of all the meats and sides. That's just insane. We didn't make it through anywhere near all of the food. Most of it got wasted, you couldn't take it to go, and they tried to make us feel better by saying the food will be turned into biodiesel. Lol. Just crazy. Overall, the restaurant was a lot of fun, and the people were really nice and fun, too, but I just couldn't overlook the mediocre food and all the food waste that could be avoided at two tops.

Yelp
This August 2024 was our families second time eating here. Reservations and check-in was easy. Once you walk inside, You are given a stick horse to ride to your table and you are awestruck by the colors and ambiance. Six of us were seated comfortably. Our waiter came with a smile and took our order......Then, the all you can eat food came. We ate soo much good food. Every few minutes or so, there would be a "play along" skit. Just like in the movies. This is a definite must go to for the kids (and adults too). It is a nice place to eat as well as fun.

Yelp
Wanted something new so we tried this new bbq place that open in toys story land in Hollywood studio. Did heard a lot of good thing and when walking by, it smelled good so we said, let's try it. The idea of this place is your transported into Andy's backyard. So here and there, you'll have Andy coming over for various reason and everyone stop moving. There's also some other event that I won't spoil. The theming is very nice. As for the food, it's a family style restaurant. If you never been to a family style restaurant, think a buffet but at your table. And instead of selecting what you want in the buffet, they bring you one very big course of everything and if you want more? Just ask and they will deliver without costing a penny more. This mean a set price for everyone whatever you eat (costed us 49USD+tx each for diner). In Disney pricing it was cheap for a family style restaurant but its partly because there's no character thus its not a signature. But for 49$, you get a lot of food, but a lot. You start with a homemade salad that was very good, some watermelon cube that were so tasty (I don't remember eating watermelon with so much flavor) and some breads. The breads come with a sweet sauce I would say seems plum based. Everything was good here, the watermelon for me steal the show cause I love that so much. Than come the main meal. This is either plant based or meat. You select one or the other for the entire table (unsure if you could split, it does say it's for the table in the menu). We took the meat which was brisket (mostly fat) , sausage, chicken (with bones), ribs and many sides; beans, cheese corn, tater Tots, coleslaw and Mac N cheese. While I did eat a lot, I cannot say I was amazed with the food. Well to be fair, it was exactly what I expected as an American bbq which is different than a Canadian bbq. The big problem was everything was out of any seasoning. Didn't taste any smoking, didn't taste spice or sauce. The ribs, while tender, had a lot of fat and taste nothing. The brisket was 75% fat and also didn't had a big taste. But like I said before, I tried some other American bbq in the past and it was about the samething so if judging based on these other experience at other restaurant outside of parks, it's on par. But based on other bbq placed I try, was subpar. After all of this, your desert arrive. It's a very small desert which is perfect after all this food. It was tasty and light, a very good finish. All in all, if you like American bbq, you will like this place. I myself probably won't go back cause it was way too much food and too much I didn't really like. The good thing is the waiter told us across all Disney world restaurant, all the food are used as composte for everything they grew on site. While I think food bank and such could help people in need, composting is a very good thing too.

Yelp
I thought that the price and my experience really made this meal enjoyable!! To start off, I had one of the best waiters ever who was super friendly and always checked in on me! The restaurant is dimly lit especially if you're in the back (fyi!) but the spot I was sitting had pretty good lighting which was great for photos ! Price wise, it was $45 pp for ayce! The menu included Cheddar Biscuits, Smoked Ribs, Beef Brisket, Sausage, BBQ Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Corn on the Cob and Chuckwagon Desserts, and more! I honestly thought this AYCE BBQ was very worth it! You can order seconds or thirds or more, but just the first round made me so full (at least for 2 people)! The meats were tender but some of the sides were really unique - the corn was my favorite! I think the chefs and creators of the menu really kept in mind of the hot weather and made really good refreshing dishes! The dessert was also great - loved the portions but texture wise, they are all very similar. Overall, would recommend this restaurant especially if you're only thinking of choosing to eat at only one sit down restaurant for the whole day!

Yelp
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is our favorite sit-down restaurant with table service in Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. The atmosphere is so fun and the attention to detail will impress kids and Toy Story fans. My boys love riding the hobby horses to the table. It's such a fun way to enter the restaurant. Be on the alert for Sarge to notify diners and servers to "freeze and be silent" when Andy arrives! We have eaten here on two separate occasions and there have been a few changes to the original menu (mostly positive!). Annual pass holders are now offered a 10% discount on food and nonalcoholic beverages. At $45 per adult and $25 per child this isn't a cheap meal, but you receive an all-you-can-eat barbecue feast that includes biscuits, two salads, a platter of four different types of meat, five side dishes, and dessert. Nonalcoholic beverages are also included (coke products, lemonade or Gatorade for adults and bottled water, milk or apple juice boxes for the kids). The adults in our group definitely took advantage of the unlimited portions, but our toddler boys only split a small chicken breast and mostly feasted on apple juice boxes, biscuits, watermelon, macaroni and cheese, and dessert (of course!). Even though my boys only picked at the food, it was so nice to have a variety of options for them to choose from instead of ordering additional food every time they change their minds. Our waitress was also intuitive about children's palates and was kind enough to bring extra apple juice boxes and side dishes without the toppings such as plain corn on the cob instead of the street corn covered in cheese and cilantro. This food won't amaze foodies, but it is about as good as you can get for Disney park food. I prefer this restaurant over the Hollywood Brown Derby and Sci-Fi Theater which used to be my go to spots for a sit-down restaurant in Hollywood Studios. Dessert is ok. Not a fan of the canned apple filling on the apple pie, but the lemon blueberry cheesecake is tasty. I'm usually too full to eat dessert so it's not a big deal that the dessert shooters are just average. There are some hits and misses at Roundup Rodeo, but overall the food is pretty good and I always leave stuffed!

Yelp
We finally got around to trying Roundup Rodeo BBQ for lunch and it did not disappoint overall. I will start by saying our host was not engaging as we noticed the others and that did take away a little from the overall experience. However our server was great. The atmosphere and decor is super cute; makes you feel like you're in Andy's (Toys Story if you don't already know) toys world. The food was delicious. We each ordered some fun drinks and they were tasty and worth the add-on. A must do dining if you're going to Hollywood Studios for family, friends or just a couple.

Marinna H.

Yelp
I think this dinner is well worth the money. The food was great and the atmosphere was so cool. Our server Diaz was great, made us feel welcome and kept the food coming! He also let us have one of each of the desserts to try which was thoughtful! The biscuits and jam were my favorite part!

Tyson T.

Yelp
This was almost our favorite meal of the trip, almost. It is family style smoked BBQ which we all love in my house, so for us to say it was this good is a lot! Have to love the decor which is geared toward Toy Story and Andy's house. Truly a cool place. I thought it might be loud with such a high ceiling, but it wasn't. Our server was just about the best one we had the entire trip. The amount of food brought to our table was mind boggling. Ribs, chicken, sausage, brisket, hope I didn't forget anything. It was all extremely well prepared. Perfect amount of smoke and the meat that needed a nice outside "bark," they had it. Even the skin on the chicken wasn't rubbery much which can be tough to avoid. Can't say enough about this place! Go there when at Hollywood Studios.

Cybel P.

Yelp
It was great stepping into Andy's room and being one of the toys. The menu did change a bit since they first opened but I still recommend. We were able to get a table without a reservation right when they opened which was a nice surprise! The waiter was great and brought seconds of all the foods when we were ready'

Tonya P.

Yelp
We honestly had a very good experience dining here. With all the negative reviews we were hesitant but I'm so glad that we decided to try this place for ourselves because we absolutely loved it. When we first walked in they asked our kid's if they would like to ride a pony to our table. So our kid's being kid's rode a pony on a stick to our table. Not only was that a fun experience for them but an amazing and funny memory for us as parents. The decor really immerses you into the world of Toy Story. Everything is larger and more dramatic so you feel like a toy in Andy's room. Periodically throughout our dining experience performances would be put on and the best one was when the whole restaurant would have to freeze because "Andy was coming in the room." It was just a fun time from start to finish. Our server Joshua went above and beyond to make our experience even better and make our daughter feel so special on her birthday. He was so attentive, personable and friendly. The food was very delicious and there is honestly a lot of it. For what you pay it's worth the price. It's all you can eat so if you want more of any item they will bring it to you. Certain items were not as good as others but the majority of the items were flavorful and so delicious. Our favorites were the biscuits and jam, all the sides, the brisket, ribs, chicken and all the desserts. The biscuits were warm, the brisket was tender and juicy, the ribs were fall off the bone and the chicken was flavorful. I highly recommend trying this place if you're ever at Hollywoods Studios it's good food and worth the price.

Mellani L.

Yelp
This place is sooo cuteeee! Its a definitely must try especially if you have toy story loving kiddos. We came here for dinner and after checking in there's still a bit of a wait outside the restaurant. Once your table is ready a host will come outside and call your name. Once we got in the restaurant, our host, who noticed we had two little ones asked if they wanted to ride on horses to the table. It was so cute. The menu is pretty much set as it is an all you can eat. They start you with watermelon salad and biscuits. So good. I love watermelon but sheesh the pepper jelly, yes, PEPPER JELLY, was unique and delicious! The BBQ was abundant. They have sauce on the side to choose what you prefer. It meat was oookay. Nothing special. I think I enjoyed the sides more than the main dish. The corn, watermelon and bread were very satisfying. Although we couldn't even make it to a round two, it was shocking to hear the dessert was also all you can eat. They were mini but no way did I have room for more than one. I think its worth trying if you're visiting Hollywood Studios, esp if you have kids that love Toy Story.

Sharyn L.

Yelp
For Father's Day this year, I took my Dad to the Toy Story themed BBQ restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You do need a theme park ticket to get in and the restaurant is about $50 a person but it is all you can eat. When you enter, it is a bit overwhelming inside. There are oversized graphics everywhere. Occasionally you will HEAR characters from the movies over the intercom but you don't see them. That is the only downside, especially kids who might want to interact with the characters. Pretty much everything on the menu is included except for alcoholic and specialty drinks. My Dad and I ordered sweet tea while my Mom ordered a hard cider. First out was the Starters which were yummy cheddar biscuits with slightly spicy , slightly sweet pepper jelly and then cucumber tomato salad and watermelon salad. Both salads were very refreshing and we couldn't get enough of the biscuits. Next is the BBQ and sides. Our server also asked if us "toys" wanted meat based or plant based, we said meat, and if any of us toys wanted salmon, and I said Yes. If you like salmon, definitely ask for it! It is only available on request and I think it was my favorite! Served on a cedar plank and cooked perfectly. We also liked the ribs (a ton of meat and a smoky sauce) and the sausage. I usually don't like sausage and it was so good! The beef brisket was dry, but gave you a chance to try the sauces - Sweet, Classic, and Spicy. I usually like sweet sauces but really enjoyed the classic sauce here. Once you add it to the brisket, the beef was a lot better. Finally, the chicken. It was also a bit dry. I think the chicken was our least favorite. Accompaniments were baked beans (great), corn on the cob/street corn (this was great but it is actually Elote, Mexican corn so I'm sure some folks weren't expecting it), Cole slaw (it was slaw, it was fine), potato barrels (same, fine), and Slinky Dog Mac N Cheese. I guess by saying Slinky Dog they thought it was okay to use fusilli pasta, but I know when my kids were young they would be upset if it wasn't actually macaroni. It tasted fine thought. We actually ate more of the starters at this point. We were stuffed but the server asked if we wanted any more of anything but we declined. We each choose a dessert which comes in a small shot glass sized container. The chocolate silk pie was a bit too rich for me and my Dad's apple pie had too many spices but he liked it. My favorite was the blueberry lemon cheesecake which had the perfect balance of sweet, tart and rich. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a Toy Story-themed restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios. All the elements I recognized from the movies make this place unique and nostalgic. Here, you are a toy, and as such, you must follow a few rules. For example, when someone announces Andy is here, you must freeze... you don't want him to find out a toy is alive! These little nuggets make this experience engaging and interactive, even though it is not a character encounter restaurant. Cast members make this a wonderful experience too, they truly get into character. As an all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style restaurant, you can eat as much as you can. Prices are $45 per adult and $29 per child (Ages 3-9). This price includes a soft drink, too. Your meal will begin with The Prospector's Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly; these were my favorites! The sweet pepper jelly was on point and perfectly complemented the biscuits. Afterward, you will get two salads, the Rootin' Tootin Tomato Salad with cucumbers, pickled red onion, white balsamic vinaigrette, and a watermelon salad. Both were good but could have been better. The main course was a platter of meat, and it was amazing! These included the Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs, Buttercup's Beef Brisket, Here's a Sausage in My Boot, Fire-grilled Pork Sausage, BBQ Chicken, and Buckin' Baked Beans. My favorites were the brisket, sausage, and ribs. You could taste the smoky flavor, and the meat was tender. I was not a huge fan of the beans; it had something (meat) I couldn't figure out what it was. And what's a main course without some sides here, there were plenty. Corn on a cob (My favorite), potato barrels, and coleslaw. I'm not a huge fan of the mac & cheese, even though I loved the pasta shaped resembling Slinky Dog. The portions are large and too much, mainly because you can't take leftovers home. We got 5 pieces of corn, and we could only eat two. They were so good I felt terrible leaving the rest. Also included in the price is dessert. I had a chocolate silk pie, which was yummy! Overall, I liked this place; it has great food and atmosphere, an excellent addition to Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. If you have any dietary restrictions, you have options, including a plant-based and allergy-friendly menu. I recommend making advance dining reservations because this one is a popular spot, as it has not been open for a year.

Gloria A.

Yelp
First of I dont know why anyone would rate it anything less than 5 Visually its beautiful The staff is so incredibly nice And when they yell "Andy is here" everyone freezes and I swear I didnt hear a pin drop it was phenomenal The food was beyond phenomenal! Everything tasted fresh and cooked deliciously, the ONLY complaint was that they dont let you take anything home I promise I am still dreaming about the food

Nasha W.

Yelp
We've been several times and we always enjoy our dinner here! It is highly encouraged to make a reservation for this restaurant. Since December, we noticed there's been a few tiny changes. Now it looks like there's no married spuds. They just go ahead and bring you all the sides, but you can always opt out of whatever side you're not interested in. The cheddar biscuits with pepper jelly are delicious as always, and our server Joshua was super friendly with a great sense of humor.

Michelle M.

Yelp
OMG...Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney's Hollywood Studios is 10/10 fun and deliciousness. If you have never dined here before, you are supposed to be Andy's toys. So just like in the movie, everyone must freeze when Andy is coming. It's so fun, and a great way to get everyone involved. On to the food, YUMMY BBQ...YES PLEASE and THANK YOU! Everything is brought out family style and is all you can eat. But let me just say, you probably won't need to order anything else because you get a ton of food. Starters include a green salad and watermelon. But let me tell you the rolls are to die for! Then out comes the real star of dinner...the BBQ platter (brisket, chicken, ribs, and sausage). And let me not forget about the sides: tater tots, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. I told you, it's a lot of yumminess. And then of course we had dessert. I had forky's chocolate cupcake. It was moist and delicious. My husband and sister both got the chocolate pie (not pictured). I almost forgot about the strawberry lemonade. It's on the kids drink menu. It's perfectly sweet and yummy. It even has gummy worms...lol! I would 100% eat at the Roundup again!

Yelp
We made reservations ahead of time and were seated immediately for a party of two. This is a fun restaurant with a lot of decor. This place is basically an AYCE BBQ place where you can pick and choose the meats and sides you want and eat/order as much as you can. The cost is $45 per adult and $25 per child from ages 3-9. We ordered the four meats (ribs, brisket, sausage, chicken) and four sides (mac and cheese, married spuds, cowpoke corn on the cob, campfire-roasted vegetables). My favorite meats were the sausage, ribs, and brisket. My favorite sides were the mac and cheese and the married spuds (basically tater tots with sauce). The meal also came with three different salads and a dessert of our choosing which were all okay. For drinks I ordered the whinnyin' whiskey lemonade ($16) which was good and had some peach in it. Sometimes when Andy is coming the servers in the restaurant will freeze which was a nice little touch. The one (pretty annoying and disappointing) thing is that our server wouldn't let us take the food as leftovers. It's a policy at the restaurant and I don't really know why but I guess it's because it's technically an AYCE place.

Yelp
Fun dining experience and love the decor in here. Makes you really feel small like a toy. Be sure to have an appetite because it was way too much food for my husband and I. Wish we had a bigger group at the time to share it with. All the food was really good and I'm not huge on bbq so I was pretty happy I enjoyed the meal as much as I did. The servers were really great. They interacted with guests and we had great conversations with our server. Everyone seemed to enjoy being there and helps guests really get in the spirit of being a toy. Overall I really enjoyed eating here and I recommend it to all my friends who plan on going to WDW.

Yelp
With a group of 3 kids, it was a must do to visit the new Toy Story restaurant. As predicted, it was mobbed. After a quick visit to the bathroom to pile my guts out from an overly sugary drink from Oga's Cantina, I was ready to eat. Service was friendly but disorganized, as we had 2 different tables with 2 different experiences; 1 server was on the ball, the other was well intentioned but missed things. Decor itself was fine. Kind of disappointed they didn't have 1 damned character walking around for the kids. Missed opportunity. Cheddar biscuit with pepper jelly were the best thing I had. These saved my life and I pounded them the whole meal. Tomato and watermelon salads were alright, with the former being loaded with more cucumber than tomato. My wife absolutely loved the chicken, however I thought it was just okay. Brisket was fatty and ribs were nothing special. Hot links were the best of the bunch so I just pounded those; not the best I've had however decent enough for dinner. Potatoes, slaw and Mac n cheese were all acceptable. Bbq sauces were ok too. For dessert the blueberry lemon cheesecake was too damned lemony. The apple pie was good too, and I like how the desserts were presented. You might notice a theme. Everything was just okay, thus the rating. If you're stuck with kids wanting to come here, it's annoying that it's only family style, however you were have a perfectly okay meal. Not something good like Brown Derby or kitschy like the sci fi drive in, but you will have a meal that is reasonable for typical Disney gouging. In the real world, it's a 2 star restaurant. They could've and should've done more here, however at least they didn't make me throw up (again).

Yelp
So I snagged a reservation here about an hour before we planned to eat. We were hungry and trying to wait out the crowds so I figured why not? Spoiler Alert: Sleeper hit meal of our trip! We were seated near Bo Peep and the theming is perfect to the land. They did a great job of making you feel like a toy in Andy's backyard aka perfect to keep your exhausted kids occupied. Waitstaff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. It is "all you care to enjoy" for $45 per adult and $25 for kids 3-9. First, it is a lot of food but honestly, good and quality food. You get biscuits (best bread I ate all trip), a delicious watermelon and mint salad, tomato salad, a platter of meats (brisket, chicken, brisket beans, ribs, sausage), and a ton of sides including Mac N Cheese, potato puffs, coleslaw, beans. The Mac was standout good as were the brisket beans. I found the BBQ to be really good and filling. The deserts, which we ordered multiple of, were delicious especially the chocolate silk pie. This was just a GOOD meal that made all of us happy and left a smile on all of our faces.

Yelp
The atmosphere is a 10/10. It feels like you have walked into Andy's toy chest. The whole place is decked out in characters from Toy Story. Amazing. The cast also has to "freeze" when Andy comes in, which was cute. As for the food, you get A TON. It's all you can eat. Ribs, chicken, sausage, brisket, Mac and cheese, tots, baked beans, slaw. Everything was really tasty, but the sausage and ribs were the highlight proteins. The tots and Mac and cheese were the best sides. I feel like there must be a ton of food waste, because we barely put a dent in our platter. If you have kids who love Toy Story it'll be a hit. If you're an adult who loves bbq, it'll be a hit. Very fun spot in Disney!

Yelp
Woody, Jessie and the entire roundup crew. What a cute restaurant! But that's not why I gave it 5 stars. The food, its bbq family style! Super affordable with unlimited everything, even dessert (not pictured). There wasn't a thing that wasn't at least good. Brisket was terrific, chicken was juicy, salmon was fire. Absolutely a favorite for the entire family. And from time to time you can hear Andy coming in so everyone freezes, because we are all just one of Andy's toys!

Yelp
Our favorite meal at Disney! Our waiter was phenomenal, and although it wasn't a character meal, the restaurant was decorated so cute it was still so interactive and fun. The food was all you can eat and delicious. Highly recommend asking for the salmon too! Would definitely Come back.

Yelp
Disney dining is definitely hit or miss sometimes but I will have to say Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Hollywood studios is a good one. It's all you care to enjoy and you start with cheddar biscuits and three different salads for the whole table. The cheddar biscuits were my favorite, cheesy and salty and came with a sweet and spicy sauce that balanced perfectly. This is followed by a round of smoked items including chicken, briskets, ribs and sausage. Then you choose 4 sides out of many, and you can ask for more sides when they bring it to you. Finally you finish with dessert. I got the cupcake a la forky and it was a great finish. The place is very well themed much like a lot of Disney restaurants. You essentially become a toy that's hanging out with Woody and friends and they have fun loops of audio. Someone could be coming and the staff would all freeze regardless of what they're doing when it happens. Very cute place to take the family for sure or even with someone else. I would recommend as a dine in option in hollywood studios.

Yelp
We have been trying since it opened to try Roundup Rodeo. We had a party of 5 and were so excited to get a reservation. This is located inside Disney's Hollywood Studios and yes you need a park reservation as well as a dining reservation. Since this is a new location walk ins are not an option. As we waited there were probably over 30 families waiting to get in. We checked in with the cast member and really only had to wait about 10 minutes for our name to be called. It was pretty much on time with our reservation. When you walk in, you are immediately transported into the toy world. There is things to look at everywhere, lots of colors and paintings on the wall. It is very loud as they have lots of tables so with everyone talking and the interactive talking and plates banging, its pretty loud. We got a table way in the back section which had a giant Bo Peep statue. Our server came pretty fast to let us know it was all you can eat and took our drink orders. I had the rum on the range which was basically an alcoholic chocolate milk drink and my husband had the snake eye margarita which was a delicious watermelon margarita. For starts you get the watermelon salad, the tomato cucumber salad and green goddess salad. All of them were pretty good. Not the best salads but good. Your main entree includes brisket, sausage, chicken and ribs. We also asked for the salmon. The meats were fabulous! I loved every single one of them! You also get to choose 4 sides but honestly when you ask for more you can order ones you didn't start with. We choose the Mac and cheese (10/10) the fried pickles (9/10- they needed a sauce to dip) the loaded potato barrels (12/10) and the roasted veggies (9/10) we also ordered the roasted Street corn with Cojita cheese (12/10). I really like that you can order more of whatever you like. The refills did take a little while to come out but it was busy. They also have three sauces- hot, sweet and a mustard style bbq sauce. For dessert you choose one the options. We did the apple pie and the blueberry cheesecake. I liked my husband's cheesecake better but the apple pie was good. All in all this is a great restaurant I highly recommend making reservations and heading over. It's a really great option for the park and we some bbq. Fabulous!

Yelp
Let me start by saying that my rating would be higher if the menu had not been family style and they ended up throwing out (composting) a large portion of our meal. If you are a party of two then you may end up seeing half of your meal go to the garbage. This is a fun place to eat. The atmosphere is wonderful. Throughout your meal you will hear the Toy Story characters and maybe even a little dancing. The meal is server homestyle - bowls and platters where you dip your own portions - so there is no taking anything away that you did not eat. We barely got through 1/4 of the meat and only half of the sides. So they threw away about 2 lbs of food. Pros: ** Lots of food * Biscuits and pepper jelly are awesome * Salads - they bring you three salads * The lettuce and kale has a very light dressing that I loved * Sides - potato salad, Mac & cheese, fried pickles (spears) and baked beans * All were tasty - I was impressed that the potato salad did not taste like it came from a plastic tub * Meat Platter * Brisket - cooked perfectly (a little fat) * Ribs - excellent smoked flavor * Chicken & Sausage - We were full so these went to the compost pile * Deserts - both the silk pie and cheesecake were very good ** Atmosphere - fun (see video) and lively Cons: * No takeaway - if you're a party of two and not heavy eaters I would try another place If you have a party of four plus or you are big eaters then this is a great place. If not be sure to eat small portions so you can try all the meats.

Yelp
The decorations for this restaurant was a 10/10. It really fits in with Toy Story land. About every 30 min they do Andy is coming of some other Toy Story activity. It was cool for the first couple but after head it over and over during your meal it for a little tiring. We had a really long dinner here has some of the food took a long time to come out. I wasn't too big of a fan of the meats the meat option and the plant base. All of the salads were amazing. They were all super refreshing for a hot day at Disney. The appraisers were ehhh. We got Mac and cheese which was too dry. The corn and wayyy too much cheese and was overpowering.

Erin R.

Yelp
At this establishment, practically everything listed on the menu is what you get, except for the plant-based and cedar salmon options, which required specific requests, and once choice of dessert per person. Despite the variety, only a few items - namely, the biscuits, ribs, salmon, and Mac - were edible and just "okay". The interior boasted a charming ambiance, and my son delighted in the playful freeze moments whenever Andy approached (over the loud speaker), yet beyond these aspects, the experience lacked substance. Regrettably, due to what they called a "buffet-style" setup, leftovers cannot be taken home, resulting in unnecessary waste. Overall, I would not recommend this place and have no intention of dining here again.

Yelp
I scored a reservation!!!!! Loved the atmosphere inside! You get a generous portion of the brisket, chicken, sausage and ribs. They will come back with more if you need. Everything was fresh and so full of flavor. Better than a burger or hotdog you get at the other food joints at the park. FYI, freeze when Andys coming!!!!!! We had so much fun!!

Mary Anna M.

Yelp
this is our favorite restaurant at walt disney world! the ambiance is so fun. as Andy's toy, you are supposed to freeze when he's around and to my surprise everyone actually did it! another time we were told to put our hands up like dinosaur claws and roar, while the servers did the same with light up glasses. truly a fun experience for kids and adults! our server was amazing. checked on us frequently and was great with communicating updates. i also asked for a chef due to food allergies and they made sure that everything i got was allergy-friendly! they handled it absolutely well, and the chef even said that she has an allergy to one of the same triggers as me so she could relate. the chef came to check on us often as well and everything was perfection. the same goes for food. everything we ate tasted amazing, from the salads to desserts (i ordered one of each). because of my allergy i could only eat the salmon and none of the bbq. it's basically a buffet since you can order as many times as you want. my only complaint would be that the full price was charged even though i couldn't have most of the main entrees. we had been saving our appetite for the meal so i was bummed not to be able to eat the BBQ. my kid also wasn't served anything separate for the kids price and just shared the meal with an adult. all in all though the total is still a good deal though!

Yelp
Disney has changed a ton since the days when we went when my kids were little. I find it harder to be spontaneous, but we did a quick unplanned 3 day trip and had no reservations whatsoever; it was a fly by the seat of your pants kind of trip, and it worked out surprisingly well. We went beginning of August so I'm a little late with this review. It was not very crowded to compared to past August trips. While walking past the Roundup Rodeo trying to figure out what it was, we remembered seeing reviews online and the cute videos of everything freezing because people were coming. I got on the app an hour and half before we wanted to eat and was able to score a ressie no problem. We've been going to Disney for 20+ years so first thing I will recommend to anyone looking for dining reservations here is to set your expectations. This is Disney, they need to feed massive quantities of people all day everyday. Yes there are some really great gourmet spots, but most are not. The theming here is fantastic. There's so much to take in, and my girls and I loved watching the little children's eyes light up with each interaction with the cast members and the "shows." The food was actually really good! The meat was tender and tasty, they have a nice selection of bbq sauces to try, and there's also fruit and veggies which is always nice when you've been stuck eating fast food most days in the parks. Our server was totally into the role, and her enthusiasm was contagious. We really enjoyed ourselves, it was a great spot to relax and cool off and have good food. Give it a try.

Yelp
Me and my friends were a party of 3. We were able to snag a reservation for 7:45pm and we arrived 20 minutes early. We are glad we did because the host let us know they were running behind. We waited until 8pm for when they called our names. When you walk in, the theme is to be inside Andy's toy box. Cute music and every half hour or so there's an interactive sound track of the toys hiding when Andy comes or if there's a yard sale. It's an all you can eat menu (aside from the main Meat or Veggie Platter) and I think 4 people can eat their fill. I left STUFFED; and I'm glad I did since it starts at $45 a person! We ordered the meat platter and at the table you have 3 flavors of bbq sauce, my husband & I enjoyed the ribs, sausage and chicken I don't think they were skimpy on the meats. We really liked the mac and cheese & beans. The CORN was spot on, and the fried pickles were SUPER crispy- along with the tater tots (the barrels). Our FAVORITE thing were those BISCUITS & jam. I would go back JUST for those. Everything was acceptable & nothing was mediocre. Our waitress was really nice and super attentive when we wanted more sides. I thought it was great! The only negatives: Wish the price point was way cheaper but it's disney- everything's ridiculously overpriced. The blue lighting is EH. AND you couldn't use your APH discount :(

Yelp
Food wise the dessert and biscuits are the only notable things. Everything else is pretty bad. Food came out cold and you could just tell it was old. Ambience is really cool and staff is super interactive with you.

Bruno G.

Yelp
It was fun, good, and festive. When you walk in, you can use a toy horse stick to get to your table. They serve bbq in a Family style fashion. They have everything; chicken, brisket, ribs, Mac cheese, beans, corn, etc... We liked the game they have. When Andy is coming over, everyone needs to freeze. Everybody plays along and it is super cool to hear the restaurant go quiet and everybody holding their positions. The food was great. It is not cheap but worth it. The desserts are cute, especially the Forky cup cake.

Yelp
I am so glad we got to book this place!! I found this on TikTok and was intrigued by the added element that staff froze when "Andy's coming!" We're a group of 7 coming from California and we booked this place at least two months out and luckily got a lunch spot! Super fun ambiance and every detail was super cute and thought out. This AYCE Texas bbq actually knocked it out of the park in terms of theme park food expectations. Highlights: - cheddar biscuits w the sweet pepper jelly 10/5. They are actually the real winners for me. I don't always obsess over bread.... But I took the remaining ones w me because they were THAT good. Warm, buttery and flaky biscuits. Not dry and had good buttery flavor that's not overpowering. - drinks were really good!! Alcoholic and non were 5/5 and really cute too - because we're a group of 7 we got two of every serving. Two sets of the 3 salads, two meat platters, two sets of 4 sides, and every person gets a dessert. And need I remind it's AYCE if you have any room! - staff were so fun and lively. Our waiter was patient with our many picture taking and held up our desserts on the tray against the wall backdrop. - ambience is so fun especially when Andy's coming and everyone freezes. It's so cute and you feel like you're in Andy's room. Low lights: - street corn on the cob was underwhelmingly bland. Don't expect it to taste like elote - fried pickles were good but could've eased on the breading. - meat quality is 4/5. Not a low but it's not like it was amazing. Overall, I'd recommend anyone to try this place. I love how it's a balanced meal with meat and veggies to satisfy the meat lovers and healthy poopers! For $45 pp it's a great value but this doesn't include drinks!

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Such a fun addition to Hollywood Studios!! The staff were wonderful, the atmosphere so much fun! "Andy's coming!" And everyone freezes! The food was so good and there was so much of it. If you like meat and BBQ meat at that, this is your place to go! The beef brisket was to die for, so tender! The corn on the cob, so good we got a second helping! Unfortunately we had to cut our time short there bc we had 9pm Fantasmic tickets. Next time we will plan better!!

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal here. The restaurant is a Toy Story themed restaurant and there's different times in your meal where the restaurant interacts with you. Like they'll say Andy is coming, and literally everyone freezes in their place even if the waiter is carrying a giant tray of food. It's really a fun and lively atmosphere. The kids will love it. This is all you can eat type of restaurant where it's served table side. Prices are $45 adult/$25 kids as of Feb 2024. Best bbq items were the brisket and ribs. Sausage was not bad but chicken was a bit dry. All of the sides were great but the best was the cheesey biscuit & corn. The corn was like Mexican street corn. Drinks (Non-alcoholic) & desserts also come with the meal. You can request more of any of the items. I would recommend you spend an hour and half to two hours dining here and take your time to enjoy this themed restaurant out of your busy Hollywood Studios day.

Francisco R.

Yelp
This place was rather delicious (which is rare to find in theme parks). The BBQ food was fresh and you can tell it's decent quality, I truly enjoyed being able to eat as much as I'd like without having to get up. With it being all you can eat at Disney it is rather expensive (approx $115 for two people with no add ons). I also appreciate the theming though it's nothing out of this world. The place wasn't as large as I thought it would be and also didn't really have any characters meeting, though they did have some interactive elements. It kind of a bummer though how difficult it is to score a reservation here and when showing up for it, how long you still have to wait on top of that. Overall though, would recommend anyone to do it at least once! Yeehaw!

Yelp
In the heart of the whimsical Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, there lies a culinary adventure waiting to be embraced at Roundup Rodeo BBQ. This isn't merely a restaurant; it's a continuation of the narrative that makes Toy Story Land a cherished part of many childhoods and hearts. As we stepped into this playful haven, we were instantly transported into an extension of Andy's Room, where imagination rules and culinary dreams come to life. The painstaking attention to detail in the theming is nothing short of a standing ovation to the artisans who've poured their heart and soul into creating an ambiance that's both comforting and exhilarating. It's a place where the décor tells tales and the walls echo with the laughter and camaraderie shared by Andy's toys. The staff, donned in playful attire and beaming with genuine smiles, add to the magical narrative. Their playful interactions and engaging demeanor reflect the ethos of a place where every visitor is a cherished guest in Andy's imaginative world. The group activities and energetic ambiance, spearheaded by the mischievous Sid Phillips, adds a layer of interactive fun that sets Roundup Rodeo BBQ apart. Now, onto the grand rodeo of flavors that awaited our palates. The menu is a hearty salute to the essence of barbecue, with portions that ensure not a single stomach rumbles in want. Standout dishes like the fried pickle spears were a delightful crunch, the brisket was a tender homage to traditional BBQ, the potato salad was a creamy delight, and oh, those biscuits, they were flaky morsels of joy. The only cowboy that didn't ride high was the chicken, which galloped a tad on the drier side, but the overall feast more than made up for this minor hiccup. For the grand feast laid before us, the price tag of around $50 per adult for an all-you-care-to-eat extravaganza, stands as a testament to not only the value but the heartwarming generosity that is the hallmark of Roundup Rodeo BBQ. It's a value that transcends the confines of Hollywood Studios and resonates across the entirety of Walt Disney World.

Yelp
For a theme park restaurant this place provides a great meal! The theming as expected for Disney was amazing! The soundtrack of the restaurant including cameos from different characters, Andy's coming moments and a dance party made the meal even more fun! Be aware this is a longer meal but it's worth it! The cheddar biscuits are amazing and the two salads are delicious as well! For mains I really enjoyed the ribs and the brisket. The chicken could use more flavor. I didn't try the sausage. The sides were okay. I like the street corn and the potato barrels but the Mac and cheese left something to be desired. As for desserts those were just meh. Decent food and a fun atmosphere makes this a great place to dine!

Travis S.

Yelp
So Rodeo Roundup BBQ is a pay per person endless BBQ. $25 a child and $45 an adult, you get three appetizers, four meats and three sides plus dessert. The food was absolutely good and tasty. The Greek salad was just the right amount of dressing and flavor. As for the meat you get chicken, sausage, ribs and brisket. If your vegan or have allergies they have plenty of options but just make sure to tell a CM before you order. If your table finishes everything then you can get more! I absolutely love that and you can easily get your moneys worth if you hungry from a long day in the parks. The deserts were pies in a cup and each one was unique. Since we were the end of night they gave us a sample of all the flavors. I highly recommend the silk chocolate one. The atmosphere was fantastic!!!! We are toys having a BBQ that Andy setup and every now and then a surprise will happen. If your a big Toy Story fan or have little ones that are then definitely check this out!!!!!

Winnie Y.

Yelp
Fun place to dine at with your family while taking a much needed break from the park and the Florida heat. You dine as a toy and from time to time Sid will walk by and the hold restaurant freezes. The food is a hit a miss. Standard BBQ fare but I love their corn jelly bread. The brisket was good and I couldn't tell if the chicken was undercooked or not due to the lighting. Service can be slow so make sure to tell your server everything you need because it'll be a while before they come around again. At $45 pp not bad price for AYCE in Disney

Suzi D.

Yelp
It was fun to be there. Food was good! It's all you can eat except for the tiny desert. I would go again.

Rachel H.

Yelp
Delicious BBQ in Andy's Backyard you soo know that's totally what's good in every single way! Coming here we got lucky as this restaurant just opened a few days ago and I was able to snag a reservation outta nowhere so that was definitely an awesome luck experience forshures! So this restaurant really is kinda unique as it's themed after Andy's Room from the Toy Story Movies and they didn't skip out on the details as there's just soo much going on all the time and that's totally what's good as it just adds soo much to the ambiance of where the Army Men will come on a loudspeaker and notify you that Andy is coming to the room and when that happens everyone freezes just as if you were all his toys coming alive in his room! Now the food like whoa there's soo much going on here and it's all served family style so you can have as much as you want or whatever you like! First they start you with some cheddar biscuits that come with some spicy jelly now those are like super good even more so with that jelly because it's sooo much flavor you will just be stoked on it! Then comes salad they give you a few different ones one being a tomato cucumber another being like a garden salad and the other is just watermelon slices all of which were super yummy! Then the sides which you get 4 different ones per table of these we went with the bbq beans the fried pickles the Mac and cheese and the loaded tater tots, each one being yummy for what they are adding just that much more to a already full mean and that's not even the end of it as then outcomes the bbq! As for bbq you get a huge platter that has chicken, ribs, brisket, smoked sausage, and some pepper's everything was super good like just downright good bbq especially for being at a park like I was actually finding it hard not to stop eating it as everything was just sooo good! Now if your not overly full from the bbq your going to get hit with a ton of desserts next with everything from a lemon blueberry cheesecake to an apple pie to some chocolate moose to a cake with Forkey in it to make for what everyone wants to eat the bad guy! All of the desserts were good in their own way but I was partial to the lemon blueberry cheesecake as it was the perfect combination of sweet and tart! Like you really can't go wrong coming here just soo good in soo many ways! Overall if you can get a reservation do it but come hungry as it's a lot of food for buffet Disney prices and I'm sure you already know what that means! With that said I hope to get back here again at some point because this was just an awesome fun delicious and very filling experience from start to finish!

Mike Z.

Yelp
The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent, great theming to make you feel like you are in Andy's Backyard! Be sure to freeze when Andy is coming! Server was high energy and didn't wait long for anything. Now the food.... The BBQ was ok, definitely better BBQ at Disney. Same with the side dishes, nothing that stands out just food that you can get anywhere else. I don't think it was worth the price point of 45 dollars per person. Come here if you are a Toy Story fan or to check out the theming but don't come just for the food.

Chris L.

Yelp
We checked in for our reservation and they told us they would text us when our table was ready and ask if we had any allergies. We explained the allergies and they were all notated in the reservation. We entered and was immersed in the Toy Story theming. The restaurant was and I loved the ceramic plates that looked like paper plates. Our server was Jeff and he went over the menu and how the service worked. He gave us a allergy friendly menu and we asked to speak to a chef for my friends allergy concerns. The chef came to the table and was very nice and went over the Menu and helped pick out everything for my friends allergies. Our server took a while to come back but when he returned I told him what I wanted to order. We received my friends salad and it had croutons on it and she is allergic to dairy we had the sever check it it contained dairy since he was unsure. He returned to inform us that they do contain dairy and he would return with a new salad. I was never offered cornbread that comes with my meal so I requested it along with my salad. They food took an hour and half to come out. Which ever for a food allergy is unacceptable. Our food arrived and it was delicious. I got the vegetarian options to try something new. For my sides I got Mac and cheese, beans, corn on the cob, and cauliflower. When my food arrived I didn't receive the Mac and cheese or the beans. I told my server and had them send some out right away. The portions of food are huge, and they do not let you take anything to go. It's a huge food waste. The desserts are really small and in glass jars. You get a lot of food for the fifty dollar per person price tag and the food is delicious. It's a lot of food for one person. You have to request for straws they do not automatically give them to you for drinks, even though they're paper straws. The chef came back to ask us how everything was and we explained our experience. He apologized for the time and not getting the sides. The server came back to the table and we asked for the desserts to be expedited and the check because it was over an hour and half of waiting for the food. We asked if we could get the dessert to go but there was no to go option. We had the desserts which were really good but a small portion. On the way out we spoke to a supervisor about our experience.

Yelp
So in Disney fashion, this new restaurant is themed to the nines. You feel like a toy as you walk in and everything around you is a giant size. Your party is called a "toy set," they refer to you as new toys coming in and when they speak about anything outside of the restaurant, the refer to it as the "backyard." Always an A+ on theming! The pricing is currently $45 per adult and $25 per child for an "all you care to enjoy" bbq lunch or dinner. This includes their starters of kale salad, tomato and cucumber salad, watermelon and their delicious cheddar biscuits with sweet pepper jelly. The drinks were so delicious! We tried the rum punch, the whiskey lemonade and the moscow mule. Our server even heard we were celebrating an "unboxing day" (birthday) and they brought us complimentary champagne in the cutest little mason jars. The meats are then served to the table and they include smoked ribs, beef brisket, grilled pork sausage and bbq chicken. They also have a plant based menu for those who do not care to have meat. You get a pick of 4 sides but our server allowed us to taste anything else we might've wanted after we got our 4. We chose the mac and cheese, baked beans, fried pickles and the loaded tater tots. The fried pickles were my favorite! They allow you (at least for now) to order extras of any sides and more meats if you so choose. Unfortunately, you cannot bring anything to go which was expected. For dessert, we got the forky cupcake and the blueberry cheesecake. Both were good and tasted how they should. Nothing extraordinary though. As someone with southern roots, I expected this to be just okay but I honestly really enjoyed the food and felt it tasted pretty good! I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. You definitely leave this place full but I think it's so worth it especially if you have a family!
