Absolutely phenomenal!!! New Year's Eve and a last minute stop .. my wife and I were rewarded with an amazing menu and two excellent bartenders, Kip and Megan! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was both exciting and homey! We will definitely be back!!

Where do I begin?! From the decor to the drinks and the really great tasting food. First, I fell in love with the decor and the atmosphere of the place. Sat at the bar while we wait for the rest of the party and tried the Bloody Mary which was one of the BEST I’ve tried in San Diego, what made it different from the rest was the crispy duck wings with bacon and omg was so bomb! I’ll definitely be back again, actually planning on trying out dinner menu since my first trip was during brunch. Btw I had the Crab Benedict one of the MUST try dish on the menu. I’m excited about the dinner menu with the wine pairing. Oh and AWESOME customer service!

Our dinner at Route 29 was wonderful! The decor is fresh and modern, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and our food and drinks were all delicious. This is a welcome addition to Fifth. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be returning frequently.

If you are looking for French- Italian cuisine and if you love ORGANIC ingredients...this is the place. Delicious, awesome plates presentation, you can feel the freshness of the ingredients. And their dessert...the budhino...best dessert EVER!. great service.

Google
Definitely an awesome experience. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food and drinks! The winery theme is wonderful and there is a fun vibe. The staff is super friendly, and they are super knowledgeable and offer fabulous recommendations.

Google
Gorgeous venue and probably the closest place to high-end Californian/American cuisine in The Gaslamp; the Duck "in Transition" dish was spectacular, as was the grilled octopus. Staff was not only attentive but professional and very approachable. Definitely a breath of fresh air for 5th Avenue. Will be returning!

Yelp
It's downtown so I suggest taking an uber because parking sucks and depending on when you get there pay lots might be full. It's a nice small little intimate place. It was nicely decorated and clean. We went on a holiday so it was pretty crowded. The tables were all pretty close together and tight and they seemed a little short staffed but again it might be because it was Valentine's Day. Let's talk food. Now we didn't know it was going to be a prefix only menu on this day so we were a little disappointed especially when being told we could not order any additional appetizers outside the prefix menu. So we ordered the Caesar salad and stuffed zucchini. After seeing other orders I will say I wish we would have tried the clam chowder and fried calamari. The salad was great and the zucchini was as well but it came with only 2 pieces and one ended up being pretty much just batter. I went with the surf and turf which was an 8oz filet and a lobster tail. The steak was delicious and cooked medium rare exactly how I like it. I asked for a mushroom steak sauce and it gave it the perfect touch. The lobster tail was also cooked perfectly. Lobster tail is actually easy to mess up and over cook and this was perfect and juicy and asking for the butter again made it perfect. The other plate was the seafood pasta. This was a great portion loaded with different shellfish but it gave it flavor. The sauce was maybe a little too watery still had a good taste. To end we had the chocolate mousse cake which my partner loved but I felt was way too sweet but the cannoli was perfect. Oh and not to mention they had a special drink that was the best but sadly I can't remember the name. It was a drink mixed with Prosecco and gin I believe.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice, the service was good but the food and drinks were lacking. I met an old friend here for happy hour since the place looked like they had good food but was a bit pricey. We didn't know happy hour was only in the bar area so we got a table, they sat us in the back near the case of dry aged beef. Since we were already seated they let us stay at the table, which was nice and appreciated. We were expecting a 4th person so we ordered 4 appetizers to start since happy hour was over in about 30 min. We ordered Lobster ravioli, which is not my thing but it was good for what it was, it came with a nice cream sauce and broccolini. We also ordered the Wagyu sliders that were surprisingly bad, dry and tasteless- I tasted one bite and made a face. My boyfriend also agreed they were not good, they had cooked all the fat and flavor out of them so they were rubbery. We ordered the wagu tacos as well, which were not bad, but nothing I'd order again. They had little squares of meat with a creamy sauce and micro greens. The 4th app we had ordered was Brussels sprouts, which were okay but still had a crunch to them which I didn't like and they just tasted like a balsamic glaze. I don't think I've ever had Brussel sprout appetizer I didn't like, they are usually just fried and have a nice topping on them- balsamic and feta or garlic lemon Parmesan vibe. Anywho it was a let down. Drinks: they didn't have a good beer selection for my man and he likes any new IPA from a local brewery or any good IPAs from Trader Joe's... so not that hard. My friend ordered The Rum Berry Spice, the first drink under signature craft cocktails on the happy hour menu. Spiced rum, strawberry, mint and citrus sounded good but didn't have a great flavor, just taste bitter like grapefruit. I ordered a rasp lemon drop and they said they had strawberry but it also just tasted like grapefruit, which I don't like. Bummer, not worth it in my foodie opinion folks. Oops apparently I didn't take any pictures... I hadn't seen my friend in like 10 years so I was side tracked

Yelp
My husband and I recently dined at The Butcher's Cut in downtown San Diego and had a mixed experience. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, which was great as the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, though the theme of the restaurant wasn't entirely clear to us. Service was attentive--perhaps a bit *too* attentive at times. While we appreciated the effort, it felt overbearing when our plates were almost taken away before we were done. A little more patience would have been ideal. As for the food, it was undeniably delicious and shareable, which was a plus. However, the pricing was a bit steep. While the food seemed to be priced somewhat conservatively for the location, the drinks were another story. Two small cocktails for $48 felt excessive, even for downtown San Diego. Overall, while the food and vibes were enjoyable, the pricing, particularly for drinks, makes it unlikely we'd return. It's a nice spot for those who don't mind splurging, but for us, it didn't quite justify the cost.

Yelp
Food and service were great for our large group visit. I got the shrimp cocktail, bone-in dry aged 22oz ribeye with scallops. There was a hiccup with my appetizer since I was told by the waiter that it was GF and yet the shrimp came out doused in soy sauce (not GF) with a side of seaweed salad (also not GF). I was informed by the manager that it was a new menu and they were going through some hiccups so that was definitely concerning considering there were some in our group with a true gluten allergy and others with severe intolerances. I would advise celiacs to be extra vigilant when eating here and double check what is being served to them. While my steak was cooked perfectly as ordered (medium rare), my other coworker's supposed medium steak looked more so medium well. Mocktail options were delicious though. Didn't stay for dessert since my only GF option was something that resembled a cheesecake.

Reggie C.

Yelp
Service was fine. Ambiance was nice. But, overall, the tomahawk had so much more to be desired. Felt that it lacked seasoning and the quality of the steak (for the price paid) was a big let down.

Bruna M.

Yelp
THE BEST CEVICHE I've ever had - it's has mango on it, tho (I love sweet&savory stuff but just FYI). Just exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming and sophisticated. I went for HH with my friend and the selection was incredible, offering a variety of delicious small plates and craft cocktails. The staff were pretty agile and friendly, turned out in a flawless dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by for a good treat.

Kassandra I.

Yelp
Amazing experience! The ambience was amazing and the staff were so friendly. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The food was so great. My steak did get mixed up and I was given the wrong temperature, but the staff was quick to remedy it and got it right the next time. The dessert was also so good! Highly recommend

Yelp
Went here with my boyfriend for a New Year's Eve dinner date. Super cute restaurant in Gaslamp with inside and outside seating. We ordered the tuna tar tar and the wagyu steak to share with mashed potatoes and asparagus for sides. Everything was super delicious! Service was also great. We enjoyed our dinner and visit to San Diego.

Jia K.

Yelp
The ambiance was clean and elegant. Our server was friendly, and the service was excellent. However, the food was not impressive. The food was salty. Both the shrimp cocktails and their sauce, as well as the porterhouse steaks and their sauce, were salty. Moreover, the steak sauce made the steaks even saltier, and each sauce flavor cost an additional $3. The Caesar salad they served came with unchopped romaine lettuce that wasn't crispy, making it difficult to cut with a knife and eat..

Garrett W.

Yelp
The service was great. No wait and very quick to bring out the food. The lobster mash potatoes were amazing and the new york steak was cooked to perfection. Portions were generous. The ahi tuna was great as well. Would highly recommend.

Jane F.

Yelp
we went during restaurant week and had a wonderful experience. the food was great & our server, Manuela was particularly amazing. Would recommend to anyone visiting DTSD (also recommend ubering if you're coming from outside the area, as it's quite difficult to find parking nearby)

Jenny L.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday night, the ambiance was warm. The service was kinda slow after we got our main meal. We ordered half dozen oysters and tuna ceviche for appetizers. The oysters were still attached to the shell and the plate didn't come with a spoon or fork for the dipping sauce. Then we shared the center cut New York (16 oz) and the baked Brussels sprouts. The appetizers were good. The steak was eh and the Brussels sprouts were charred for my liking.

My N.

Yelp
Gave this place a second chance and I was happy i did. The trio plate would be my top recommendation! It's a New York steak , lamb , and the lobster ravioli! The second best thing I suggest getting is the ahi tuna Ceviche! It was so fresh, it tasted like water. Service was great again. Great date night restaurant!

Yelp
The Olive Garden of Steakhouses...My husband made reservations for my 30th birthday. There was an option for a set menu for two. When we got the seating was overcrowded. With a reservation, we were sat at a small cocktail table practically on top of the couple to the left with a narrow walkway to my right leaving the hostess, guests, and servers bumping me during my time here, no place for my bag but others had purse racks. We ordered a blackberry lemonade for $12 and a crabcake for $24. The crabcake was good but we thought there would be two as there is a #2 on the menu. We asked for a second menu and were not provided one, they were trying to pack the place..We asked for the set menu and the waitress said it was for the day before for Valentine's day. Red flag - I brought up the open table reservation and she said they were having issues with them. First- no reservation seating and then fighting me on the menu okay..fine.I ordered the aged Tbone steak 58$ and my husband got the regular New York strip for $48? Sides mashed potato and asparagus. My husband's steak was delicious a nice rare steak. My medium rare was overcooked. It. was brought out on a castiron slab as if it were fajitas and it was cooked well. gray. I brought it up to the waitress because this is an aged steak it should be earthy and a I wanted medium rare. She was gaslighting me in front of my husband saying "No I saw him bring it out to you it keeps cooking, you waited to long, that's how it's cooked." excuse me? I have grilled, seared, oven roasted steaks so I know how to cook and temp a steak damn.. she had me cut the center and show her and it was just barely medium well..still well done everywhere around. It was not aged steak this tasted like a tennis shoe. I asked to send it back and I asked for the same cut as my husband and rare so if it were to "overcook" it would be edible. THISS PLAAACCCEE brought me back a blue rare steak. So now the opposite of cooked, well undercooked and not rare or medium rare. My husband gave me the rest of his and I was just eating asparagus the rest of the night. They comped the 2nd New York and discounted $12 from the "aged" steak. The couple to the right of us was also fighting with their server over having reservations and being sat at the bar and then the tiny cocktail table next to us. they ordered a tomahawk steak and that looked blue rare too from where we sat. this place is not it. we did not get dessert or leave a tip and it was still $127.00 This ruined my night because as a full time worker and student this was a special occasion for my big 30. We didn't end up going out after we just headed back to our hotel.

Yelp
If I could give a 3.5, I would. We went here for our anniversary dinner and had an okay time. The service was average, and the food was pretty good. It was slightly overpriced compared to other steak houses in the area. They definitely specialize in tomahawk steak. We really wish they offered smaller cuts of steak on the regular menu. My boyfriend ordered the NY Strip and it was 16oz! That's a huge cut of meat. It was also $67 with no sides... not really worth it. I got the salmon and it was good, but it was slightly over cooked and the broccoli was slightly undercooked. The restaurant had weird vibes- not sure how else to put it but didn't feel like a nice steakhouse. a little too rustic. A couple other things to note: we were not even offered tap water. They only offered us bottled or sparkling, and we got still. We both only had a few sips and then were charged $8 for it. Cant even get free water? We've been to other steakhouses in the area that are much better.

Yelp
Wow, we are beyond pleased with tonight's dinner. We celebrated a birthday and our server Manuela made our night very special. The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect. The porterhouse was for 2 people and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back.

Brandy R.

Yelp
Wow, the food was SOOO YUMMY! I had the Tomahawk steak with lobster mashed potatoes and it was AMAZING! Also the fish ceviche was out of this world good! Ambience was nice and music was great as well.

Katryn F.

Yelp
Heard nothing but amazing things about this restaurant but perhaps they were having an off night. The service was sub par. Our waitress was nice but nothing was spaced out. Appetizers and salads were served on top of each other. Drinks were forgotten. I asked the busboy for an appetizer plate which he acknowledged and never returned with. They picked up my plate and I went to grab my fork to keep it but they said they would bring another. Never did. I know these are tiny things but I worked in the restaurant industry for years and for a higher end restaurant like this it does come down to the details, which tonight were not there. The last straw for me was when I got up to use the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. The toilet was gross, no toilet paper, trash everywhere. I literally couldn't use it and instead held it until I got home.

Taylor G.

Yelp
The food, the ambiance, the drinks! I honestly cannot wait to come back to this place! The lamb lollipops, lobster raviolis, and the wagyu meatballs were superb! The service was excellent, we got great recommendations and everything was brought to us quickly! Maria, the bartender was so engaging and the staff overall were so friendly and kind! I recommend it highly and can't wait to bring my friends and family back when they come visit!

Javy M.

Yelp
This was an amazing place! We got in and had a great seat outside with excellent views of all the halloweeners. Our Waitress, Nikkie,, was amazing! We had the 22 ounce bone in rib eye, the potatoes and the bacon corm! That was incredible. Nikkie recommended them and she was spot on. Our food came out fast, hot on the lava stone and so many people checked on us! We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. One recommendation, get a sauce with your steak. It's got a dry rub to it which wasn't bad, but I like a little sauce here and there! Overall, if you're in the gas lamp and want a good steak place. This is it! And ask for Nikkie! She's Jerseys best!!

jade c.

Yelp
Nikkie was awesome at making us feel welcome and comfortable as well as answering any questions we had about the menu! Very accommodating and helped us celebrate a milestone by being such a nice presence! The food was delicious and cocktails were refreshing and complimented the food well! Very warm ambiance with soft lighting and windows into the kitchen and meat cooler to see your food being prepared.

Melek I.

Yelp
Food; Salad (the wedge) was amazing (i forgot to take picture) 5/5 Pasta was standard (vegetarian linguine) 4/5 Meat (tomahawk 32 oz.) was standard 4/5 Cheesecake was not bad 3/5 Ambiance; Ambiance was nice but it was a little cold inside, I didn't like this. Service; Servers were kind and friendly Prices; It was normal for this kind of restaurant.

Yelp
I've seen a fair amount of reviews for The Butcher's Cut that are on either extreme end of the satisfaction spectrum so I wasn't sure what to expect going in. My wife and I decided to try it out for an early dinner before a show last night and we most certainly were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, we enjoyed our experience quite a bit. I'm not the best at describing decor, but everything looked well thought out and put together. There weren't any clumsy random decorations nailed to the walls or anything like that, it was nice and everything appeared to be clean and well maintained. I will say however, my chair (the back) was not comfortable in the slightest bit. It was immediately noticeable and required me to frequently shift positions to alleviate the discomfort. For what it's worth, I'm an average size fella at 5' 11" about 185 lbs. The staff was all polite and professional, our server was knowledgeable, attentive and clearly intent on curating a great experience for us. Now for the meat and potatoes (Ha!): We started with a cocktail, my Butcher's Cut Fashion was pretty average. I expected it to be a little more boozy with the barrel aged bourbon being used. No one flavor stood out, just kind of bland overall. My wife's martini was fine and to her liking (Tito's, blue cheese stuffed olives, dirty) but pricey ringing in at $23.50. We opted to go with the Couples Night experience, selecting option 1(wedge salad, 32 oz. Tomahawk ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus and chef's choice of dessert). Our wedge salads arrived pretty soon after and they were pretty good. They were what you'd expect when you order a wedge, aside from the shaved carrot topping. They were a little smaller than your average salad. Unfortunately the heat and humidity prevented us from being able to try the zucchini blossoms so we went with the crab cakes instead, paired with a glass of white wine (GLS Petite Chablis). Three small crab cakes (think average scallop size) very well dressed with the jalapeño aoli and mango chutney showed up in no time at all. Very tasty, definitely glad we added them into the mix. The main showed up right on time, served on a large volcanic rock (at least I think that's what they said). It really was a terrific presentation and unique because that rock was hottttttt. So hot I had to ask for another plate to put our beautiful ribeye on because it was cooking before our eyes. It also kept the mashed potatoes at an inedible temp which forced us to take up space on our plate to allow them to cool. The asparagus was grilled and tasty but also became overcooked and soggy because of how hot the display was. The ribeye was really good, well seasoned with a great crust. This particular steak holds its own up against steaks I've had from other high end spots in town. We paired the main course with the Daou Cabernet Sauvignon(which is always awesome). Dessert was a pretty simple chocolate mousse that we paired with some limoncello. The mousse was a bit on the bland side and the crust didn't have the texture or crunch I expected. We very much enjoyed ourselves and will definitely visit again but here's why there's a 4 star rating. The uncomfortable chair, food cooking past "done" at our table and the service charge. Yes those pesky service charges that were outlawed as of July 1. Service charges are still allowed however, basically, they have to be conspicuously listed on menus and disclosed by staff prior to getting the bill(neither of which happened). Imagine my frustration when I saw that pesky service fee on our bill. We didn't have time for me to really duke it out with a manager over $10 so we paid it and off we went.

Michael S.

Yelp
We were a big party coming out of the convention center, they were waiting for us and were very accommodating with plenty of space for everyone. The appetizers were delicious including the meat board, fried calamari and salads. As for entree I went for the carbonara with wagyu and it was incredible; I struggled to finish it because it was a big portion, but it was completely worth it. Definitely will come back when in San Diego

Kate F.

Yelp
We visited during restaurant week which ends on October 1st. It was an amazing deal with getting an appetizer, first course, main and dessert for $55 plus a $20 wine pairing. If you see this before restaurant week ends, go!! My favorite course was the filet mignon with truffle, I think it was cooked in truffle butter. It had an amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. My friends loved the fish as well. The four of us liked all of the courses. The service was amazing. One of my friends commented that they perfectly timed bringing out our food and drink We were seated in the back where they display racks of meat which a couple of my friends found off putting but it didn't bother me I liked their light fixtures and overall ambience We all agreed that we would come back again

Kelly I.

Yelp
Bomb food. Must come here. Can't wait to come back and try more items. The only thing here is at the bar they said we could only order off 1 of the menus for all our choices. So no HH drinks and then food from the regular menu. We came on Easter Day and the had in addition to HH and regular menu they had a prefix menu. I wanted only a HH drink and snack and my husband wanted to prefix choice.. they said Nope! Only 1 menu we could pick from. We eat out a lot and I've never came across such rules. So 1 tip do one menu at the bar, close out, then sit at a table and perform the other menu.

Holley H.

Yelp
my night started with a cockroach on the table, I stayed only because we were with a large group and it was to hard to relocate everyone, then our $115 porterhouse tasted awful. was hoping to have found a great steakhouse but didn't.

Jazmyn D.

Yelp
Valentine's Day night. super limited menu and reservations. We still had to wait. Drinks were good. The appetizers were mediocre at best. Main meal was okay. Desserts took a very long time to come out despite the limited options and my cake was still frozen and my husbands dessert which should've been really warm seemed like it was microwaved for 10sec as half was like warm and half was cold. I get it was a busy night but for an almost $300 meal for 2 was extremely disappointing.

Michelle S.

Yelp
First time here and we came for Valentine's Day. Ambiance and food was amazing but our server Nikkie was the icing on the cake. I am such a picky eater and she made sure everything was perfect! Friendly, outgoing and so extremely helpful. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Chris B.

Yelp
Food was great but a lot of the food on the menu had no pricing. Just know it's going to be expensive either way. again tho great food.

Austin L.

Yelp
Stopped in as we saw they had happy hour and was so surprised by the quality and service for a busy Saturday night! Bartender Maria was charming and engaging. Owner came up to check on us and the staff was super attentive. Highly recommend and excited to come back for full dinner service.

Thomas F.

Yelp
We were hoping to have a good experience with some family members from out of town. This restaurant is terrible. It looks fancy with the dry agers in the back and getting to your seat was probably the only enjoyable experience. I had an old fashioned but it was extremely sweet and seemed watered down. The smoke effect was neat but they only did it for the first two drinks. The first sign of trouble was the shrimp cocktail. We had three orders of shrimp arrive at our table, and the smell was terrible. Although the shrimp seemed cooked it smelled like it was straight out of a fish market. We gave in and assumed it was just very "fresh" but nope, it tasted terrible and had an oily substance on the outside. The "horseradish" cocktail sauce was ketchup. We were also getting looks from other patrons, due to the terrible smell. No one in our party finished the cocktail and thankfully none of us are sick. We paid for a 6oz Australian wagyu at $18 per oz. The entire cut was warm and extremely bland. I wouldn't have paid $15 for this but ended up paying $100+. The lobster mashed had no flavor and looked old and reheated. The bread was really ok and probably saved our stomachs. Our entire party had similar experiences with their food. Our check was over $300 and in the end we felt pretty ripped off.

Jon O.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service were great. My group enjoyed our various entrees but we thought the sides were the weak link of the visit. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Gaslamp Quarter.

Darrin B.

Yelp
Food was excellent , Alex was my server and she was amazing!!! Thank you for an amazing dinner, Darrin

Tyler A.

Yelp
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and honestly had the worst experience. Our server was Ok but the fooood? So disappointing. Our crabcake came out cold af... the bread was rock hard and our entrées had no flavor. We got the lobster ravioli, the lobster mashed potatoes and a steak... Everything was so underwhelming except the steak when dipped in the sauce ! We should've just stuck to our favorite steak house Morton's!!

Zuza V.

Yelp
Manuela was amazing and provided the best and sweetest service we could ask for! Stumbled across this gem on social media and it was well worth it! Will be coming back and requesting Manuela to ensure our dinner service is smooth and the best!

Yelp
We went to Butcher's Cut during Comic Con 2023 to have their SDCC Menu and sat at 4:15, however the hostess originally grabbed the regular menus without the special they were having for the weekend so we had to ask for it). We sat inside at the tables near the meat and occasionally the AC would drip onto our table. (We were offered to move, but declined because thought we could scooch over a little but it was hit or miss). The inside wasn't too busy but maybe outside was ,but overall food service was really slow. We order cocktails, charcuterie, and the comic con special (3 courses with appetizer, entree, and dessert). One thing that was notable was at the beginning, we got a little background about the restaurant. Food delivery was inconsistent. Our appetizers came out scattered and one salad came out while others waited awhile for another salad and the bisques. It took nearly 1-1.5 hours to get our main entree and by that time we felt like we were done eating. Food was good, but the long waits in between each food item and service check-ins when it wasn't busy inside (not sure about outside) really didn't help with our appetite. We understand it's during a busy event, but compared to other nearby restaurants that are much more crowded inside and outside, the wait felt too long.

Cristina B.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday early with my family. Parking is street or structure, but thankfully we got here on a week night and everyone was able to find parking. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, more modern and decorated accordingly for the name. We got seated in a booth that was kind of a tight squeeze, but had a great view of the rest of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and personable. She explained the menu and chef specials well, answering any questions we had along the way. She was attentive to our water and drink glasses, and frequently checking on us for refills. Our entire party enjoyed her and she definitely elevated our experience. We ordered 2 appetizers: the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the chef's selection ceviche. The cocktail was great, the shrimp were a nice size. I couldn't get past the crackers for the ceviche, I was expecting tortilla chips or something equivalent, so the texture and mouthfeel were off. Main entrees we ordered the following: center cut filet with scallops, seafood capellini, lobster ravioli, t-bone, and chef's special #1. We also got some sides: garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed wild mushrooms, and baked Brussel sprouts. Didn't hear many complaints about anyone else's food, but for mine I feel my center cut filet was a little over cooked. I asked for medium and it came out medium well, however, the scallops tasted great! All of the sides were delicious as well, but I think the Brussel sprouts were too sweet. For dessert we had the following: complimentary birthday dessert (chocolate mousse cake), limoncello sponge cake with marscapone, dessert of the day (crème brûlée), and NY cheesecake. Again, no complaints from our party, everything tasted great. Overall, we all had a nice time. The reason for my 3-stars is that I felt some of the dishes were slightly lacking and it wasn't enough to get me to return here. My family, however, enjoyed this place more than I did and will most likely be returning. It was a nice place to try out, but would not be my go to for a special occasion/steakhouse.

Yelp
Came here during comicon on the tail end of Happy Hour. As soon as we were set at the bar, Our man Luca took our order, and his charisma couldn't be any better. From the Jokes to the recommendations, all top tier! Another server, Sinem I think her name was, she was rocking the orange wig which reminded me of LeeLoo from 5th Element... She came to check up on us when Luca was working with other customers. She was able to put an order in for us right before HH was about to end. Most places would wait you out! Can't say enough about the service here. But the food? Man. Good drinks n good food make it dangerous for my wallet. First off the Oysters were fresh and briney. The fries were crispy and hot. The burger was decent. My favorite part about this place was still the cocktails. Love the innovation, love the mixes on the menu. 10/10 would recommend, comicon or not. I can't say anything about their menu outside of HH, but I'm willing to wager it's just as good.

Yelp
We were excited to try this place. The ambiance was lovely and the service was decent. It was empty when we walked in, but decided to give it a try anyway. Cocktails were fine. Ordered rib eye and New York steaks and both came out overcooked from what we ordered. The server tried to tell us that it was bc they were dry aged. That's not how that works.. Sent it back and they remade it, then served us a completely raw steak. A steak that was so undercooked, it would have no doubt been unsafe to eat. It was taken off the bill but the manager never even approached the table. We finished the New York steak which had good flavor but again was overcooked. Ordered Brussel sprouts, twice cooked baked potato and wagyu meatball Mac and cheese. All were mediocre, not high quality ingredients, not even sure the meatballs were wagyu and the Mac and cheese was WAY overcooked to where it was mush. Not worth the price at all, we wouldn't even go here for drinks with these prices and how terrible this experience was. The only reason this is 2 stars is bc the server was really nice.

Yelp
Went here for valentines day. VERY disappointed. To start off they did not specify that it was a prefixed menu so i did not get to enjoy what i wanted. for this to be a steakhouse the new york strip had no flavor whatsoever. sent it back and got the Ravioli and that was also disappointing. Our Waitress was very sweet though and the customer service was great. but the food is very disappointing

Yelp
All Day Happy Hour! Can't beat that on a Saturday!!! Amazing vibes here. Love the interior design and aesthetic. Even the bathroom area was beautiful. Staff and service were phenomenal. We got lots of goodies on Happy Hour, but sadly the Oysters were VERY bland and watery tasting. It didn't have much taste to it. It could have been that type of Oyster. But I was not pleased. We ordered a Dozen and it was a beautiful plate, but sadly tasteless. For our main course, we ordered a Trio from the Daily Specials. Didn't know it costed $130 but I've never had anything like that before and the meat was cooked to perfection. I just didn't like the fact that they charge $10 for Water. We were asked if we wanted "Sparkling or Regular" and we asked for Regular, but I guess next time we should ask for "FREE" water(?) Anyway, it was still a wonderful dinner. I'd come back, but probably next time skip the Oysters.

Yelp
I recently visited Butchers Cut Steakhouse and had a fantastic dining experience. I ordered the Ribeye with mashed potatoes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was delicious, and the chimichurri sauce added a delightful flavor. I paired my meal with an Old Fashioned, which was expertly crafted and delightful. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, making it an enjoyable place to dine. The only downside was the difficulty in finding parking close to the restaurant, but overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it!
