Really enjoyed the visit to the museum. Nice collection of cars across many decades. Had a nice visit with Mr Guy Mace, owner of the museum, who gave us the details of several of the cars and their history. Reasonable admission price to enjoy such a nice car collection.

This is a very nice car museum! I am a car lover, and there are car here that I have never heard of. If you like old cars, you will find a lot to enjoy. There are nice American, as well as British, and German cars. There's a nice 60s Batmobile, and a Ghostbusters Ecto-1. It's a fun place to visit!

Google
Great place to visit on your Route 66 trip. Wide variety of cars and memorabilia. Each car has a placard with info and a short summary of the cars history. It's definitely worth a stop and I'd stop again next time I'm in the area

Visited on 6.12.2025. Spectacular Auto Museum with a collection that includes rare cars. Definitely one of the best auto museum along Route 66. Highly Recommend to anyone traveling through Springfield, Missouri.

Me and my two daughter just went here it was so very cool to see all these different cars old cars and movie cars the really loved the Batman, ghost buster and DeLorean. If your not a car person like us it was still just great to look and admire all the vehicles all the staff we talked with was very nice and had no issues

Google
My wife and I have been to many car museums. This is a totally awesome museum. I can't even tell you how many cars are in perfect shape. Of the 75 cars that were there, I'd have to say 95% of them are in beautiful shape. The replica of the Batmobile is so detailed and awesome!!! Was told that most all of them run and are driven down the road every once in a while. If you like old cars I highly recommend this place

Yelp
June 1, 2024 and we stopped to look around. The parking lot is huge. There is a great variety of vehicles (see posted pictures). There is a sign by each vehicle, giving some history about it. In one of the corners you can see and enter the "garage" were working in progress is being performed. The AC works great. When you leave make sure and drive through the neighborhood there are some very interesting old buildings and old businesses also.

Yelp
Very cool place to visit on Route 66. They have so many things too look at. My 7 year old loved it very much. I would definitely recommend this place if you are on 66.

Yelp
The entry price of $13 apiece is a bit steep but the museum is worth your time if you like old cars. There is quite a variety, from a 1907 REO to a 2003 Dodge Viper. American, British, German plus more a few more historic pieces. Many are beautifully restored, others look to be original, which is cool.

Yelp
One of the only stops we knew we were going to check out before we even left Arizona. Seriously how can you pass up seeing a bat mobile, ghost busters, and a Delorean in one spot? Located in a warehouse in Springfield the Route 66 car museum is full of some beautiful cars. My favorites had to be between the 1925 model t and 1957 studebaker . The employee at the counter was wonderful and my kids really enjoyed talking to her. There was a great assortment of old toys, souvenirs and T-shirt's for sale as well. The only downside for me was how hot it was inside. For a person not used to the humidity it was hard to spend as much time as I'd of liked. But I am so glad we came. This was the only thing my teenager really wanted to see and he really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Very nice museum with lots of unique cars and car memorabilia. Can go through it in about an hour. Stop next door at the cafe for breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
If you have a car lover in your group (my husband is a fanatic), then you have to visit the Route 66 Car Museum. They have super rare classics like the 1907 REO Runabout (which still runs!) up to the latest and greatest of super slick sports cars. My kids really loved seeing all the changes that have been made over the decades to vehicles.

Yelp
Amazing place with some of the most unique cars and trucks! The gentleman working to front counter was extremely friendly sharing his Veteran stories with my young Airman and encouraging him in his journey of service to our country. The stories posted for each car added to the nostalgia, giving you so much insight to the history of these amazing cars. Highly recommend adding this to your stops when in the area... or driving the two hours we did to enjoy it. It is honestly worth it!!!

Yelp
Cool local museum! All kinds of cars! They even have a workshop on site! I want to visit again!

Yelp
Don't let the outside fool you! There are some amazing and unusual cars hiding in there. It would be nice to be able to display them in a better setting-- the vehicles are worthy of that. An excellent stop for historical car buffs!

Rachel B.

Yelp
This was super cool! They had a ton of different interesting cars! The man working was super nice!! Definitely recommend stopping if you're in the area!

Marcia T.

Yelp
It had some interesting vehicles but I was disappointed. The cars that you would see on old Route 66, such as the Chevrolet BelAire, were not a part of the museum. Wanted to see the old family type cars. Price was kind of steep.

Yelp
Having to pay $15 dollars for this museum, I almost felt cheated. Yes, they do have the old batmobile car from the shows. It is pretty cool to see all the old cars but again, not worth $15 a person! There are other museums on the route that are more extreme and less money. However, the girl working the desk was so sweet and friendly.

Yelp
Very nice car museum. Kids loved seeing the Batmobile and other classics. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We went in the winter not knowing the hours were slightly different and he let us take a quick look around with my grandfather who was in from out of state. We recommend for all car lovers.

Yelp
Great collection of antique specialty cars including the Batmobile from the TV show. Cars from the 20s to the 2009s will impress and entertain you. You can even watch the mechanics work on restorations if they are working that day.

Joe P.

Yelp
Was a good surprise, A better collection than I expected. Workers were very nice and Friendly. Each car had an information sheet that was informative. Located just a few minutes south of I-44.
