I went with a group of 10 (the Santa Fe Foodies group), and everyone seemed to love the food. It was a Friday, and that's the only day they offer fish and chips, a dish I've tried all over Santa Fe and elsewhere. This may be the best in town (I'm still super partial to Bang Bite food truck). I was asked if I wanted 1-2 or three pieces, so I picked three but took one piece home with some of the fries. The fish is outstanding, as is the prep. Fresh, great quality, and perfectly fried. The fries have skin on them and were great, except the kitchen over-salted them big time. 3 other people at our table ordered them and said the same thing. Next time, I'll ask for little or NO salt. I'd have given this place an extra star had the fries been handled reasonably in terms of all the kosher salt on them. My wife had the Catfish Po Boy with what they call Onion Rings. I liked the sandwich, but the onion rings were to die for. A bit unusual, they are more like onion strings (not big fat pieces of onion), but they were SO delicious! We ended with the Bread Pudding, which was quite good and, again, not what I expected. It's an unusual take with a slice of brioche bread, a great and not-too-sweet caramel, and apples. I do recommend it. Service was excellent; thank you, Julian, for taking care of this large group so well. It is very dog-friendly here; next time, we will return solo with our Whippets. Now I should warn readers that three pieces of fish (and chips) is $31! No price on the menu. I mention this because it's a bit on the high side, but I think it's worth it for the quality, and remember, you don't need to get three pieces of fish. You can see in the photo I'll upload they are big pieces. Not sure what 2 pieces would cost, but I think next time, I'll go that route.
