I went to this center thinking it would be a great way to meet people and learn something new, but it wasn’t what I expected. The activities they offered weren’t as interesting as I thought, and the atmosphere wasn’t as welcoming. I tried joining a workshop, but the organization was so poor that I couldn’t get anything out of it. I felt out of place, like there was no room for me to grow. I decided to stop attending because I believe I deserve a place where I feel truly welcomed. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and enriching."

Good, friendly college with very nice staff and faculty, along with friendly students.

RCC is a student centered, success driven institution with classrooms that are conducive to learning. The college boast the most excellent professors in and around the Boston area. The office staff are real time professionals and the students are very friendly and easy to get along with. RCC is the college to be if success is your priority!!!

Please be aware of this college. Worst college in USA. Took money out from Income Tax return without even attending any class. Please be very aware before you visit this college or sign any papers. My wife went there to check about the courses they provide and see the college. She never went to that college again and never did any class. After couple of months we received a bill that we owe money. Called the college and the front desk said that you have to talk with the billing department. They told us that you have to come to the college and sign the paper. My wife told that her foot is broken and she have 4 kids so that is why she cannot come. She Also told them that she will send doctor and hospital note that she cannot drive. They hung up the phone on her. She sent so many email and calls but no reply. Spoke with billing department that I really need that money for my kids. They guy I spoke said that i can not return the money. Spoke with HR department and they said that we only handle our employees department. Asked them about the dean and they hang up the phone. They don't deserve any star.

Great college my second degree. Just make sure you keep up with business office because several different times never got my financial aid that was due to me as a student over the years of being a student in the past. Great staff and professors

I am so disappointed with this school. Very unorganized. Every semester I have had a hold placed on my account from issues with the Business and Financial Aid offices. I'm sick of going to the offices assuming that the problem was resolved, only to have something else come up at the end of EVERY semester! I now have another hold and I spoke with the supervisor and she couldn't even find an explanation for me as to why I owe money that they issued me in a check months ago! I hate this school. I feel like the administration is way too unorganized and constantly hinders me from furthering my education.

Just switch to green energy. The architecture is nice, but I wish they have used the space to do a 2nd floor parking in the 1st lot. I think it's a waste of space or architecture design in the end. Affordable tuition for undergrade option. Some staffs has their days.

Absolutely not. I know rocks that can gain more intelligence in a lifetime compared to the amount of anything you'll gain here. They don't even offer flexible tutoring hours for students employed by the school. What? are you kidding? Say its a conflict of interest. A conflict of who's interest? Cause its truly conflicting the interest to learn when you cant make a buck and get help with academics at the same time. Highly unprofessional staff, hand to God I thought they were common transients you pass by in hallways and streets. Also the graduation rate there is half past depressing and that alone is a reflection of the interests the professors have in teaching a community anything college related. Also is a reflection of the effortless clowns that frequent the facility still nostalgic about their high school days. Do NOT waste your time especially if you have SENSE and SCENTS. I'm 100% positive that those who gave this 5 stars and commented that they graduated have all ended up in a career working with MBTA. Oh yeah, and I'm not from Boston. That's how you know theres some truth to that statement alone.

Yelp
Hands down the WORST community college I've ever been to. If you want a your education taken seriously I'd advise you to go to bunker hill. The professors are unhinged, out of touch, unprofessional, always canceling classes on top of that they come to class extremely late which makes you think they probably canceled class. RUDE facility, theres always something wrong in the system. This place is like a circus, they should change their slogan from "Your future is in our hands" to "Your future is at risk in our hands."

Yelp
Pros: location works for me, good professors, numerous activities food is usually provided, and diversity. Cons: money hungry, rude staff, bad rep, poor maintenance, pricey for a community college, no career center, (every college should have one), not a variety of class times, and cafeteria food is disgusting. I ended up transferring to Bunker Hill. It's a good decision!

Yelp
I'll be entering my third semester at RCC. So far most of my professors have been really good and knowledgeable. It's convenient, inexpensive, small class size for evening and Saturday classes.

Yelp
Looking for a career change, I enrolled the Broadcast Media Production certificate program, and will start this summer. The media arts center is very impressive, and I had a great experience with staff and faculty members so far.

Yelp
this school is not for everyone. the school was truly the worst experience I ever had in my life. if you are a dedicated teacher. you will be disgusted by how terrible and unprofessional they are. this place was more like a high school then college. This is the worst community college ever. Everything that people say about this school is true. this school is a mess.

Yelp
Convenient, Cheaper than Harvard and with less pretentious nitwits (both students and professors). Get in here now.

Yelp
This college was perfect for me until I entered the nursing program . I attended in 2014 as a health careers major and it was excellent they gave great support! Once I got into the program I failed by a decimal point and had to repeat Adn 150. The semester that I was repeating my professor Lynn Doyle threatened to slap me and called me a derogatory term via email. The school tried to sweep it under the rug and told me to "forget about it" they then proceeded to charge me for the semester I was threatened , and withheld my income taxes. Not sure what happened between 2014 and now but the school is terrible . Not to mention that they rewarded the very professor that threatened me with interim dean of the nursing program ‍ very very unprofessional and they lack concern for their students.

Yelp
This is a review for taking GRE subject tests at Roxbury Community College: I would recommend taking your test here because it is a very relaxed atmosphere and everything went smoothly. The proctors are really nice but they do not seem to know much about special procedures like standby testing. Try to come a little early since your room may be a little hard to find, but there are security guards and staff there that can direct you to your room. Each subject is assigned to one classroom that seats about 30 students. You just walk in, show your ID, sit down, take the test, leave. No security shenanigans like the actual GRE. There are no lockers but the proctors will let you bring stuff into the room with you as long as you keep it off your desk. (Turn off your phone or don't bring one.) Remember to bring your own pencils and erasers for GRE subject tests, and also remember that in the last 30 minutes you can't leave the room even if you are done.

Yelp
I was for more than a decade a part time instructor at Roxbury Community college, so I have an extended experience at this college. My first question to students: why are you here? .... and not at Bunker Hill Community College? (where I have also teaching experience, good one!!). I loved my students from both colleges, but warned them from the brutal or incompetent administration of RCC!! I did my best, but waste of resources, fights between faculty (which were on the side of the students) and administration, who were dislocated (even physical in an extra building). As an institution of economic deprived student body, it is disgusting, what kind of administration people they hire: They are immediately in fight with all faculty members, long union debates struck this college: It should IMMEDIATELY combined with Bunker Hill CC, who has a much better administration and 5 times more students as RCC (both were built initial for same student population!! RCC overcharge student, is rigged with scandals of money-buzzing. Look into BHCC, which is 10 station on orange line away, and make your intelligent choice!!

Yelp
If I could I would give it a negative grade! Poor guidance work and they keep hiring people worst then what they have. Very slow, I scheduled an appointment and I had to wait 2 hours to be seen by a guidance. I had holds on my account for no reason. I transferring as soon as I can! Done of bullshit
